Audio House 9.9 Sale Runs to 20 Sept 2026: "Free 99% eCashback" Pays $495 for Every $500 You Spend, but Its Own FAQ Lets You Spend Only $20 of It per $100
Audio House's 9.9 Electronics and Furniture Sale is live at 23 Ubi Road 4 and on audiohouse.com.sg, and the countdown script on its own homepage dates it precisely: it opened at midnight on 8 September 2026 and closes at 11.59pm on Sunday 20 September. The poster stacks three offers: an extra 9.9% off storewide with every $1,000 spent, a free 99% eCashback with every $500 spent, and a free $990 book of cash vouchers to use before purchase. The middle one is the number every listing has repeated, and it is the one worth understanding, because we worked out the formula from the site itself. The eCashback shown on each product is exactly 99% of the largest $500 multiple at or below its price, which is why an $799 washer shows $495, a $1,199 fridge shows $990 and an $6,999 OLED shows $6,435. What it is not is cash. Audio House's terms put eCashback on its own website and showroom only, and its FAQ sets the spending rate at $20 per $100, so that $6,435 needs $32,175 of further Audio House spending to use up, and the FAQ also states you may either earn eCashback or spend it on a given purchase, never both. The price cuts underneath all of that are real but ordinary: across the 19 featured 9.9 items we priced on 9 September they run from 7.9% to 43.2% off, and the deepest cut we could find anywhere on the site was 58.4%, not the 90% on the poster.

Trip.com 9.9 Mega Sale, 9 to 12 Sep 2026: The S$199 in the Headline Is a Business Class Coupon, and the One Economy Bookers Can Use Is S$69 Off S$700
Trip.com Singapore's 9.9 Mega Sale runs from 9 to 12 September 2026, and its own terms page (promotion ID SG-47083) fixes the window at Singapore time, both dates inclusive. The number in the page title, S$199 off, is real but it is not a general coupon: Trip.com's own 9.9 cheat sheet puts it on Business and First Class flights only, and gives the same S$199 as a daily voucher to DBS and POSB cardholders. The flight coupon an economy booker can actually use is S$69 off a minimum spend of S$700, which is 9.9% on the smallest qualifying booking, or a 9% code capped at S$30. Almost every headline number on this page also drops at a clock time rather than a date: the S$69 and S$109 coupons release at 12AM, the S$399 nett Singapore to Beijing flash fare at 9AM, the S$199 nett Singapore to Manila fare at 1PM, and JB hotels from S$39 a night at 3PM. All of the flash sales are app-only by Trip.com's own terms, so a desktop browser cannot reach them at all, and the overseas hotel flash price is capped at a two-night stay. Only 9 September carries the full coupon stack. From 10 to 12 September what is left is the daily run of 4PM attractions, 5PM China tours and a 7PM new-user hotel voucher, plus the DBS and POSB vouchers at midnight.

PlayMade 9.9 Flash Deal: $0.90 Taiwan Milk Tea on the App (U.P. $4.20), $1.90 Walk-In, 9 September Only
PlayMade's 9.9 deal is about as direct as bubble tea promos get: on Tuesday 9 September 2026 only, the (M) Taiwan Milk Tea drops from $4.20 to $0.90 when you order through the PlayMade app, or $1.90 if you just walk in. That is 79% off even without the app. The drink is brewed with PlayMade's new Premium Amber Black Tea, the recipe it has been taste-testing since late August. Toppings are charged separately (the new Black Sesame Milk Pudding pairing adds $2 and contains nuts and dairy), and standard T&Cs apply, so expect queues and order early in the day.

Winter Time Expo Sale: Up to 80% Off Winter Wear and Luggage at Singapore Expo, 10-13 Sept 2026
Winter Time is bringing what it calls its biggest winter wear and luggage event to Singapore Expo Hall 5A from 10 to 13 September 2026, 10.30am to 9.30pm on all four days, with up to 80% off parkas, jackets, sweaters, boots, thermals and luggage. The number to hold onto is not the 80%. It is $179. That is what Winter Time already charges online, every day, for a Sumuzu Sumo Series front-opening polycarbonate case listed at $358, and $269 for the bigger Zuko Series listed at $538. The brand's own webstore runs those two at a standing 50% off, so an expo luggage price only counts as a win if it comes in under those. The brand has published no expo price list and says only that there will be new arrivals, mark downs, star buys, free gifts and crowds. Note the clash too: the Tai Seng Travel Goods Warehouse Sale runs the exact same four days on the other side of the island, and that one has published its prices.

Sa Sa's 9.9 Beauty Specials, 8 to 11 Sep 2026: The Codes Are App-Only, and the $10 Flat Delivery Fee Is Bigger Than Either Coupon
Sa Sa Singapore's 9.9 Beauty Specials run four days, Tuesday 8 to Friday 11 September 2026, and the whole campaign is two promo codes: $4 off a $50 spend with 99SAVE4, and $8 off an $80 spend with 99SAVE8. Two things everyone repeating it has got wrong. First, the channel: the ribbon printed under each coupon on Sa Sa's own artwork reads USE PROMO CODE ON MOBILE APP, not "online", and we searched sasa.sg on 8 September and found neither code anywhere in the page source, no 9.9 banner on the homepage, and no 9.9 entry on the retailer’s own Promotions page, which lists only Unity Beauty Fest (3 Aug to 23 Sep) and serves a page with the title, the dates and nothing else. Second, and this decides whether the promotion is worth using at all: Sa Sa Singapore’s Delivery Information page states a flat $10 delivery fee "applicable to any order amount, parcel size, or weight", with no free-shipping threshold at any spend. So a $50 order with 99SAVE4 costs $56 delivered and an $80 order with 99SAVE8 costs $82 delivered, and the shipping charge is larger than either coupon. There is also one piece of arithmetic worth having: because $4 off $76 and $8 off $80 both land you at $72, every dollar you add between $76 and $80 is free. And if this is your first Sa Sa order, the standing $5 new-member offer beats 99SAVE4 at every basket under $80.

Disney Store Singapore Closes Online for Good on 30 Sep 2026: Its Sale Banner Says Up to 40% Off, the Real Markdowns Hit 50%, and the Halloween Range Dies a Month Before Halloween
Disney has confirmed on its own site that DisneyStore.asia stops trading in Singapore after 30 September 2026, with a hard last-order time of 11.59pm that night. Singapore has no standalone Disney Store, so the website is the official Disney Store here, and after that date there is no first-party Disney channel in the country. Two offers are running. The sale page is labelled "Up to 40% Off", but the deepest markdowns in the grid are actually a shade over 50%: the Mickey Halloween Light-Up Wreath falls from S$149.90 to S$74.90, and the Light-Up Jack-o'-Lantern from S$115.90 to S$57.90. The second offer is a purchase-with-purchase, not a basket discount: 40% off one nominated item once you spend above S$70, and the item itself does not count towards that S$70. That same S$70 is also the free delivery threshold. Two catches nobody flagged: the clearance is heavy on Halloween stock while the store shuts a month before Halloween, and Disney's FAQ tells shoppers to note recent changes to its returns policy without linking the policy or keeping a returns page in the footer.

Tai Seng Travel Goods Warehouse Sale: Up to 90% Off Luggage and Bags, 10-13 Sept 2026
The Famous Tai Seng Travel Goods Warehouse Sale is back from 10 to 13 September 2026 at 9 Tai Seng Link, and this time the brand has published its full price list before the doors open. Read it properly and the headline moves: the "up to 90%" is one product, a Case Logic Campus Founder 26L backpack at $9 (was $89). The real story is the luggage floor. A Crossing Miles 24" medium hardcase is $39 (was $169) and a TSA-lock 8-wheeled 28" large is $49 (was $229), both marked while stocks last, limited pieces only, which makes them day-one door-crashers rather than four-day deals. Thule, Bellroy, Osprey, Pacsafe, Jansport, Eastpak, Nalgene, Klean Kanteen and about 30 other brands are on the floor, there is a sample clearance from $1, and a VIP tier gives an extra 10% off once you spend $300. Hours are 10am to 8.30pm on the first three days and 10am to 7.30pm on the last. All prices below are read off Boarding Gate's own campaign posters.

Starbucks 25% Off Storewide to 13 Sep 2026: Min 2 Items, In-Store Only, and the Five Exclusions That Make It Not Quite Storewide
Starbucks Singapore is running 25% off storewide from 7 to 13 September 2026. There is no code and no app to unlock: you save the voucher image and show it at the counter, and you need a minimum of two items in a single transaction. The word doing the heavy lifting is storewide, because Starbucks' own voucher carries five exclusions on its face, and in this particular week they cover almost everything a Starbucks fan would want to buy. Mooncake Gift Boxes are out, in Mid-Autumn week. Brand collaboration merchandise is out, and Starbucks names both lines in the fine print: Mofusand, which is on shelves now, and Jay Chou, whose collection is landing inside this very promo window. Reserve and Weave exclusive beverages are out, engraved merchandise is out, and anything already discounted is out. The line most people will trip on is the last one: this cannot be used together with any other promotion, reward or discount, so if you bought the $12.90 Voucher Pack last week, those vouchers and this 25% cannot ride in the same transaction.

Toy Story High Tea at SKAI, Level 70: S$78++ Adult and S$39++ Child to 30 Nov 2026, but the Child Set Drops Three of the Ten Pieces
SKAI, the restaurant on the 70th floor of Swissôtel The Stamford, has handed its afternoon tea to Disney and Pixar's Toy Story until 30 November 2026. 'You've Got A Friend In Me' is ten pieces plus a scone, each named after a character: Mr. Potato Head as a Comté gougère with N25 caviar, Slinky Dog as a wagyu smokie in pretzel brioche, Woody as a 66% chocolate, Lotso as a strawberry shortcake and the Aliens as a matcha mandarin choux, plus a themed alcohol-free cocktail, TWG tea or coffee. It is S$78++ per adult and S$39++ per child aged 6 to 12, which is S$93.52 and S$46.76 once the 10% service charge and 9% GST go on, so two adults and two children pay S$280.56. Read the three menus side by side, though, and the children's set is not the adult set at half price: it drops Hamm, Lotso and the Aliens, so a child gets eight pieces against an adult's eleven. The vegetarian version keeps all ten and swaps ingredients instead. Daily 12.15pm to 5.30pm with a two-hour limit and last seatings at 3.30pm, reservations required. There is a Toy Story room package too, but the high tea is not included in it, and its 'priority reservation' does not guarantee you a table.

IKEA's Kids Eat Free Is Back for the School Holidays, 7 to 11 Sep: a $4.50 Kids' Meal Free With Every Adult Main
IKEA Singapore has put Kids Eat Free back on its IKEA Family food page, and the window is the five weekdays of the September school break: Monday 7 to Friday 11 September 2026. The terms are one line long. One free kids' meal per child with every one main bought from the regular adult menu, for IKEA Family members with children 12 and below, with the card and the child both at the till. It runs at the Swedish Restaurant at Alexandra, Tampines and Jurong, and at the Tampines Halal Line on the same terms. The four free meals are 5 Swedish meatballs with mash, 2 tempura chicken strips, 5 plant balls with mash and organic penne in tomato sauce, each with Kivik juice and, for this promotion, ice cream. Each is $4.50 on IKEA's own menu, which is the interesting part: IKEA sells adult dishes for less than that, including a $2.50 vegetable fried rice and a $4.50 salmon wrap, so at the cheap end of the menu the free item is worth roughly what you must buy to get it. Two things IKEA has not settled on its own page: whether those cheapest plant-based dishes count as a main, and whether the child cut-off is 12 and below or below 12, because the headline and term 3 disagree.

Nike's 9.9 Sale Is Labelled Up to 40% Off, But Its Buy-2 Rail Is a Flat 50%, and Two Pairs Land at 60% (Ends 10 Sep)
Nike Singapore's 9.9 Sale is live on nike.com/sg, and the label on its own navigation undersells it. The menu offers two rails: Up to 40% off, and Buy 2, Extra 20% Off. We read the product data behind both. The Up to 40% rail holds 1,586 products and its front page is a mix of 30%, 40% and 50% markdowns, so the 40% headline is already wrong on the brand's own page. The Buy 2 rail is the one that matters: 336 products, and every single item on it sits at exactly 50% off, with the extra 20% coming off in cart when you take two. That is a 60% effective discount, and it turns a pair of Air Force 1 '07 into S$119.20 against a usual S$298. Nike's own promotion record, tagged XAFA26NINEBUNDLE, dates the Buy 2 offer from 4 September to 2am on 11 September, so Thursday 10 September is the last full day. One trap we found on the sale page itself: the Air Max Muse is listed twice, at S$114.50 and at S$137.40, and the only difference is the colourway.

McDonald's Free Mini Cones Are Back for the School Holidays, at Every Outlet Until 13 September
McDonald's Singapore posted its School Holiday Special on Saturday evening: a free Mini Cone for kids, at every McDonald's restaurant in Singapore, until 13 September. That is the whole announcement, and it is worth reading closely, because the brand's own caption confirms only three things (free, for kids, all outlets) and the poster carries no fine print at all. Four conditions every deal listing has quietly filled in for itself are not stated anywhere McDonald's publishes: there is no age cut-off, no purchase requirement, no per-child limit and no stock caveat in anything the company has put out. The promo window also lands exactly on the September school break, 5 to 13 September, and the poster's own wording (ARE BACK) confirms this is a returning format rather than a one-off, the same giveaway having run to 31 March during the March holidays.

Jack's Place Kids' Menu Is $3++ All Day on Weekdays (U.P. $8.80): Five Usable Days in This School Holiday, and the Set Lunch Kills It
Jack's Place has a kids' menu at $3++ against a usual price of $8.80, and its own poster carries two conditions that every deal listing has dropped. The first is that the $3++ is an add-on, not a standalone: it applies only when an adult at the table orders an a la carte or promotional main course, and the restaurant's own terms then rule out the Set Lunch, which is the cheapest adult main on the menu. The second is the calendar. This is a weekday deal, Monday to Friday all day, which for most of the year is the one window when school-going children cannot use it. The 5 to 13 September school holidays are the exception, and they hand families five qualifying weekdays from Monday 7 to Friday 11 September. Three dishes sit at $3++ (Spaghetti Beef Bolognese, Chicken Nuggets & Fries, Kids' Fish & Chips), every kids' meal comes with apple juice and a single scoop of ice cream, and a $5++ tier (U.P. $10.80) buys a Minute Striploin Steak with Chicken Chipolata Sausages. After the 10% service charge and 9% GST the $3++ plate lands at about $3.60 against $10.55, so roughly $6.95 a child a visit. The deal is dine-in only, for children under 10, at the 12 outlets on the brand's own locations page, and eves of and public holidays are out, along with special occasions: the poster names Children's Day, which falls on Friday 2 October 2026.

IVF Cost in Singapore 2026: What 8 Fertility Centres Charge, and Why the $7,700 Co-Funding Only Works at Three of Them
Three of Singapore's eight main fertility centres are public, and they are the only ones where the Government pays up to $7,700 of a fresh IVF cycle. The other five are private, and five different pricing habits sit behind their headline numbers: Alpha quotes $6,888 with GST already inside but stops at the freezer, CARE IVF publishes a full six-line rate card before GST, Virtus prints both bases on the same page, Sincere sells two named packages, and Thomson publishes no price at all. This guide puts every published figure on the same basis, then does the subsidy maths on a real KKH cycle.

Subway 1-for-1 Breakfast Wraps on Mon 7 Sep Only: Buy a Wrap and Coffee Before 11am, Get One Free (6 Outlets Excluded)
Subway Singapore put five all-new Breakfast Wraps on its own site on 2 September, from $3.90, served from opening until 11am daily. On Monday 7 September 2026, and that morning only, its 'Good Morning is calling' poster gives you a second wrap free when you buy any Breakfast Wrap and Coffee set before 11am. The catch is in the pricing rule: when the two wraps differ in price, the higher-priced one is charged and the cheaper one is the freebie, so mixing an entry-price wrap into your order caps the whole deal at $3.90 of value. Order two of the same premium wrap and the free one is worth the same as the one you paid for. Six outlets are cut out, including the three that make the most sense at breakfast: Jewel Changi Airport, Changi Airport Terminal 1 and Tanah Merah Ferry Terminal.

It lands just in time for the September school holidays, alongside two stacked promos: Half Price HOT DEALS with 50% off selected items from Popeyes, A-One Signature, Starbucks and Takagi Ramen until 16 September, and Bestsellers at 25% off (40% off for pandapro subscribers) from Anjappar, Burger King and Maki-San until 27 September. Selected brands and items only, so check the app for what qualifies.

ION Orchard's Race Season: F1 Driver Ollie Bearman on 6 Oct, Beauty Pop-Ups From 10 Sep, and Race-Week Rewards From Just $50 Spend
ION Orchard is stacking two campaigns this Autumn/Winter. Find Your Autumn runs 1 September to 11 November 2026 with beauty pop-ups (Sulwhasoo's 60th-anniversary Concentrated Ginseng Cream showcase 10 to 20 Sep at L1 Atrium, Dyson's new launch 13 to 27 Sep at B4 ION Station), seasonal gift-with-purchase deals from COS, Diesel, La Mer and Shu Uemura, and fresh A/W collections across the mall. Then Live the Race takes over 15 September to 13 October: pet brand VETRESKA's motorsport pop-up lands at L1 Outdoor ION2 from 3 to 11 October with F1 driver Ollie Bearman appearing in person on 6 October, VISA x TUDOR x HUGO return to the L1 Atrium 1 to 11 October, and race week itself (7 to 13 Oct) brings ION+ spend-and-redeem from just $50, plus a free Lifestyle Pack for anyone in a race jersey or holding a Grand Prix ticket stub.

Teachers' Day Treats, 4 Sep 2026 Only: Free Half Dozen at Krispy Kreme, Free llaollao Upsize and Free Soft Serve at 108 Matcha Saro
Teachers, flash your ID this Friday. For Teachers' Day on 4 September 2026, three sister brands are running one-day-only treats at all outlets islandwide: Krispy Kreme gives a free half dozen Original Glazed with any dozen purchased (limited to 50 redemptions per store), llaollao upsizes 2 Medium Tubs to 2 Large Tubs free, and 108 Matcha Saro throws in a free soft serve with any 24-piece Warabi Mochi Box. All three need a Teacher's ID at the counter, are capped at one redemption per ID, and cannot stack with other promotions. One day only, while stocks last.

IHG Stay 3, Pay 2: Every Third Night Free Across Asia Pacific, Booking Closes 30 September 2026
IHG Hotels & Resorts has opened Stay 3 Nights, Pay 2 on suites and premium rooms across Asia Pacific, and the two dates are nothing alike: you can only book it from 1 to 30 September 2026, but the stays it buys run from 4 September 2026 all the way to 30 June 2027, which covers the December break, Chinese New Year and next June's school holidays. Every third consecutive night is free and the rate includes daily breakfast for up to two guests. The catch for readers here is the participating list. IHG's own South East Asia and South Korea page names 55 hotels and exactly two of them are in Singapore, InterContinental Singapore Robertson Quay and Hotel Indigo Singapore Katong, so this is a regional-travel deal far more than a staycation one. Bali alone has 13 hotels in it and Thailand has 18.

Wrong NSman Tax Relief Hit About 15,000 Taxpayers: Revised Tax Bills Go Out by End September, and 8,000 of Them Are Refunds
MINDEF and IRAS published a joint clarification on 3 September 2026: an error in MINDEF's system generated incorrect NS activity records, and those records fed the NSman tax reliefs granted to about 15,000 taxpayers across Years of Assessment 2025 and 2026. The 15,000 are not all NSmen. The figure covers NSmen plus the wives and parents who receive NSman Wife Relief and NSman Parent Relief off the same record. Roughly 7,000 will see their tax bill go up and roughly 8,000 will see it go down, with about $930,000 to be recovered and about $995,000 to be refunded. The vast majority of adjustments are under $200 either way, though depending on your relief entitlement and income bracket the swing can run from under $10 to about $900. MINDEF says it spotted the problem in May 2026 while working through queries from NSmen, then reviewed every NS tax relief record for both years. What you have to do right now is nothing. IRAS is reissuing the affected Notices of Assessment and says they will be out by September 2026. Anyone on a GIRO instalment plan will have the plan adjusted automatically, refunds are paid automatically, and only taxpayers who are not on GIRO and end up owing more need to act, by paying by the due date printed on the revised notice. The quieter problem is the wives and parents in that 15,000. MINDEF's wording is that all affected NSmen have been directly notified, which leaves a mother or a wife to meet the news for the first time when a revised tax bill arrives with no explanation attached.

FairPrice Doubles CHAS Discounts to 6% From 3 September: Blue on Thursdays, Orange on Fridays, Capped at $200 a Day
FairPrice Group announced on 2 September 2026 that it is doubling its CHAS cardholder discount from 3% to 6%, running from 3 September 2026 to 1 January 2027. The detail that decides whether you get it is the day. CHAS Blue cardholders get their 6% every Thursday, CHAS Orange cardholders every Friday, and the two do not swap. It is valid at all FairPrice supermarkets, FairPrice Finest and FairPrice Xtra, plus Unity pharmacies and FairPrice Online, and it stacks with CDC vouchers and existing store promotions. The discount applies up to a total spend of $200 per customer per day, so the most any single shop can save you is $12. Over the full window that is 18 qualifying Thursdays for Blue and 18 Fridays for Orange, or up to $216 each. One line in the release is worth reading twice: the $3.99 online waiver is a service fee waiver on a $100 minimum, not free delivery, and the standard $5.00 delivery fee still applies below FairPrice's $59 order minimum. Here are the exact dates, the cap, the formats that are not included, and how to set the discount to apply itself.

You Probably Still Have S$100: Only a Tenth of SG Culture Pass Credits Have Been Spent After One Year
MCCY published its one-year SG Culture Pass numbers on 2 September 2026. About 411,000 Singaporeans have spent more than S$30.4 million of their credits. With roughly 3 million citizens eligible at S$100 each, that is a pot of about S$300 million, and around a tenth of it has been used. Every Singapore Citizen who was 18 or older in 2025 got S$100 on 1 September 2025, with no application and no income test, and the credits run until 31 December 2028. Spending is lopsided by age: 18 to 35 year olds account for 43 per cent of usage and everyone 55 and above just 19 per cent, which is why MCCY is launching a Group-Assist Portal from mid-October so Active Ageing Centres, community clubs and nursing homes can book group outings and redeem members' credits in one go. Two rules catch people out. You cannot transfer credits to a family member, not even for a relative who cannot use them. You can, however, buy tickets for friends and family with your own credits as long as the total stays within your balance. Cookbooks are still out of scope, confirmed in Parliament on 6 August 2026.

Bee Cheng Hiang 9.9 Sale, Online Only: 25% Off 1kg Gourmet Fusion, 250g Bakkwa Bites at $9.90 and Mooncake Gifts From $80 Spend
Bee Cheng Hiang's 9.9 sale went live on its web store on 1 September 2026 and it is online only, so none of it works at the counter. The brand's own campaign banner prints four things: 15% off Gourmet Fusion in 500g and 600g, 25% off the 1kg, Bakkwa Bites at $9.90 for 250g (a 39% cut off the usual $16.25), and a gift-with-purchase ladder at $80, $100 and $199 spend that pays out in mooncakes. Two details are worth more than the headline. First, the 250g Bakkwa Bites at $9.90 is cheaper than the 200g pack at $13.00, so the smaller size is now the expensive one. Second, the brand's own '9.9 Sales' page lists only eight products, while four more discounted lines sit in the ordinary Rolls and Snacks categories: three rolls at $9.90 against a usual $14.80, and Bakkwa Layer 90g at $19.90. There is also a sting for anyone who bought in August. The Mala Crispy Pulled Pork Twist 200g that went for $10.92 in the National Day sale is $19.90 in this one, which is $8.98 more for the same pack four weeks later. Bee Cheng Hiang publishes no closing date for the sale. The only date printed anywhere on the artwork is that delivery slots run to 24 September, the day before Mid-Autumn Festival.

Cathay Pacific's 80th AnniFAREsary: Hong Kong S$354 Return All-In, and the Smaller S$80 Code Beats the S$138 One (Fares to 30 Sep, Codes to 15 Sep 2026)
Cathay Pacific turned 80 on 1 September and put its whole Singapore route map on sale for the month: round-trip all-in economy fares from S$354 to Hong Kong, S$424 to Beijing, S$727 to Tokyo, S$1,209 to Los Angeles, San Francisco or Seattle, and S$1,221 to ten European cities including Paris and Rome. Taxes and surcharges are already inside those numbers. The part almost every repost blurs is that there are two different deadlines. The fares themselves sell from 1 to 30 September for travel all the way to 31 August 2027. The two member promo codes that make them genuinely cheap, CX80SG for S$80 off and CX80SGLH for S$138 off, only sell from 1 to 15 September, only cover travel between 15 September and 10 December 2026, and are capped by transaction count: 500 for the short-haul code and just 50 for the long-haul one. The counter-intuitive bit is that the smaller code is the better deal. S$80 off a S$354 Hong Kong return is 23 percent off; S$138 off a S$1,209 US west coast return is 11 percent.

City Square Mall's PlayVerse, 4 Sep to 11 Oct 2026: Anime Pop-Ups, a Hotel Mooncake Fair, Free Yukata Experiences and 3x Rewards Points
City Square Mall is packing five weeks of very different reasons to visit into one campaign. Enter the PlayVerse: Shop, Play & Discover runs from 4 September to 11 October 2026 at the Farrer Park mall, rotating through Matsuri Square by Simply Toys (7 to 13 Sep, with life-sized Jujutsu Kaisen, The Apothecary Diaries and Dandadan photo ops), a Mid-Autumn Fair of hotel mooncakes from Fullerton, Conrad, Sheraton Towers and more (14 to 27 Sep), Anime Earth by Singapore Cosplay Club with free drawing workshops (28 Sep to 4 Oct), and a World Mental Health Day community event (10 Oct). On top of that, the CityNexus app runs 3x rewards points with a $20 minimum spend all campaign long, plus spend-and-redeem treats: an Eco Mama plushie and $5 e-voucher, a $30 two-piece mooncake set, and a free yukata experience for a family of 4.

adidas 9.9 Sale, 1 to 10 Sep 2026: The Extra 30% Comes Off In Cart, But Only On Stock That Is Already Marked Down, and 152 Items Land at 65% Off
adidas Singapore's 9.9 sale is live, and the headline everyone is repeating (30% off selected styles) is not what the brand's own site says. adidas prints EXTRA 30% OFF IN CART, and the badge only appears on stock that already carries a markdown: we checked 48 full-price men's shoes on adidas.com.sg and not one of them had it. That makes the existing markdown the number that decides your saving. On a 10% item the extra 30% lands you at 37% off; on a 50% item it lands you at 65% off. The richest corner is the Last Sizes rail, 152 products all sitting at a flat 50%, where an Ultraboost 1.0 works out to about S$90.65 against a usual S$259. Today, 1 September, is adiClub members only and you must be signed in; it opens to everyone from 2 September and runs to 10 September.

Mid-Autumn Festival Singapore 2026: 8 Lantern Displays and Events, and Why Chinatown's Big Lanterns Are Missing This Year
Mid-Autumn Festival falls on Friday 25 September 2026, and the biggest change this year is where the lanterns are not. After 24 years, the Chinatown Festival Committee is not putting large-format lanterns over Eu Tong Sen Street and New Bridge Road at all: chairman Peh Cheng Hoo said the celebration is shifting to community lanterns at Kreta Ayer, partly because big displays are now regularly seen at the major attractions anyway. So the giant sets have moved to the gardens. Gardens by the Bay runs nine lantern installations from 12 to 27 September, 6pm to 10pm, free, including a Colonnade of 1,000 hand-painted lanterns. Jurong Lake Gardens tells the Legend of the White Snake across five scenes at Lakeside Field with light shows at the Cloud Pagoda, and its programmes run 19 to 27 September while the lantern displays themselves stay lit nightly until 4 October, a full week longer than almost every listing says. VivoCity has handed its Sky Park to six Sanrio character zones until 27 September, Paragon has 100 rabbit sculptures you can adopt for charity, Pasir Ris Mall runs a nightly bubble and light show to 4 October, and Kwong Wai Shiu Hospital is going for a Singapore Book of Records entry with Kong Ming lanterns on 19 September. Every event below is free to walk into. Dates, timings and terms were read off each organiser's own site on 1 September 2026 and re-checked on 2 September 2026.

Old Chang Kee's Salted Egg Taro Mochi'O Is $3.80, or 2 for $6.80, at All Outlets 1 to 30 Sep 2026
Old Chang Kee put its Mid-Autumn puff back on the counter on Tuesday 1 September, and this year it has mochi in it. The Salted Egg Taro Mochi'O (咸蛋芋泥麻薯角) is a 福-stamped puff filled with taro paste, a whole salted egg yolk and a stretch of mochi, and the brand's own promotions page lists it at all Old Chang Kee outlets from 1 to 30 September 2026, or while stocks last. The counter price is $3.80 for one and $6.80 for two, which works out at $3.40 a piece. That price is worth reading against Old Chang Kee's own back catalogue: last year's Mid-Autumn puff, the Salted Egg Yam'O, carried the same Chinese name and the same 福 stamp at $3.60 a piece, so the single has gone up $0.20 while the 2-for rate actually lands $0.20 under it. The Red Bean Mochi'O that ran from 6 May to 6 June this year was $2.60. Mid-Autumn Festival falls on Friday 25 September 2026, which leaves a five-day tail on the promotion, and the brand's line for this item names outlets only, unlike its other current items which say outlets and delivery platforms.

Trust Bank Turns 4: S$3 Starbucks, Burger King, Kopitiam and 4 More, 1 to 7 September 2026
Trust Bank turned four today and is marking it with a week of S$3 coupons in the Trust App, running 1 to 7 September 2026. Seven brands are in: a S$3 Kopitiam Buddy Set, a S$3 Grande-sized Starbucks drink, a S$3 Spicy Chicken King Burger at Burger King, a S$3 Prata Blaster at Springleaf Prata Place, S$3 Shihlin Favourites, a S$3 Shio Pan Set at Butter Town and a S$3 single scoop at Birds of Paradise. Trust also promises one-day mystery treats during the week. The coupons are free, they sit under Rewards in the Trust App, and payment has to be on a Trust card: the bank confirms these discounts cannot be redeemed on a DBS, Citi or OCBC card.

llaollao Quad Pop: Medium Tub With 4 Toppings for $7 Every Wednesday, From 2 September 2026
llaollao Singapore is launching Quad Pop, a new weekly froyo deal: every Wednesday from 2 September 2026 onwards, a Medium Tub with any 4 toppings of your choice (1 scoop each) goes for $7.00 flat, at all llaollao Singapore outlets while stocks last. The usual Medium Tub comes with fewer toppings, so Quad Pop is built for the mix-everything crowd: fruit, crunch, sauces, all four in one tub. The fine print worth knowing: it applies to Medium Tub purchases only, additional toppings beyond the four are chargeable, it cannot stack with other promotions or vouchers, and it is in-store only, not on delivery platforms.

8 Best Eyelash Extension Salons in Singapore 2026: Trials From $38, Refills From $55
Every lash salon in Singapore opens with a first-trial price, and you will pay that price exactly once. Lashes are not brows: you go back every two to four weeks, so the refill is what your year actually costs. We read the published rate card at eight Singapore salons and re-checked every figure on 9 September 2026, ranking them by how much of the real cost each one is willing to print. The Lash Company is still the only salon here that publishes a first-trial price, a usual price and a refill price at both three and four weeks for every single set. Shimmer & Shine has the cheapest published entry at $38, and its own booking system turns out to publish a refill rate the website does not: free inside 7 days, then from $50. Lash Inc SG runs no trial discount at all and prints the whole card instead. The Lash Chapter, which published no price at all in August, now prints one: $77 nett for its Signature Wispy first trial.

8 Best Maternity Packages in Singapore 2026: Every Private Hospital Advertises Roughly S$4,100 to S$4,500 for a Normal Delivery, and MOH's Own Bill Data Says the Typical Bill Is Two to Three Times That
Six private hospitals publish a maternity package price for a normal delivery and they land in a tight band: Parkway East S$4,088 for a single room, Gleneagles S$4,188, Raffles S$4,142, Thomson S$4,316.40, Mount Alvernia S$4,327.30 and Mount Elizabeth S$4,500. Every one of those pages carries the same line in smaller type, that the package covers hospital charges only and professional fees are excluded. MOH publishes what the same delivery actually cost at each hospital, and the two sets of numbers do not resemble each other. For an uncomplicated vaginal delivery in a 1-bedded room the typical bill was S$8,417 at Raffles, S$9,258 at Parkway East, S$10,287 at Mount Alvernia, S$10,802 at Thomson, S$12,597 at Mount Elizabeth Orchard, S$12,724 at Novena and S$13,367 at Gleneagles. Same procedure, same room class, a S$4,950 spread, and the cheapest advertised package (Gleneagles at S$4,188) sits at the most expensive hospital on the list. The gap is the obstetrician, whom MOH benchmarks at S$2,507 to S$4,142 for a vaginal delivery, the anaesthetist at S$817.50 to S$1,090 for an epidural, and daily attendance at S$230 to S$450. Subsidised public wards are a different universe: the typical bill was S$946 in a Ward C bed at NUH and S$1,486 in Ward B2 at KKH. Below: every published package price read off each hospital's own page or PDF on 31 August 2026, matched line by line against MOH's per-hospital bill data, plus the MediSave arithmetic that explains why Thomson's own PDF says S$3,380.

Baskin-Robbins Takes 31% Off All Handpacked Ice Cream, Sat 29 to Mon 31 Aug 2026: Pints, Quarts and Half-Gallons, In-Store Only
Baskin-Robbins Singapore has put 31% off every handpacked tub for three days, from Saturday 29 to Monday 31 August 2026, and the announcement on its own Facebook page is a single line: enjoy 31% off all handpacked from 29 to 31 Aug. The 31 is the house joke, since 31 flavours is the brand's founding gimmick, and the campaign poster runs the pun in Chinese as well with a manga bull charging out of the surf under the words niu nai lai. What makes this run better than the brand's usual version is what the poster leaves out. Its February to March 2026 run of the same 31% was restricted to 12pm to 7pm daily, and its March and July runs lasted exactly one day each, on the 31st. This one carries no daily time window at all and covers a full weekend plus the Monday. Handpacked means the tub packed at the counter rather than a cone or a novelty bar, in pint, quart and half-gallon sizes, and it is the only format where you pick the flavours: two flavours in a pint or quart, three in a half-gallon, per the way the brand described the same promotion in March. The one thing you cannot do is plan the spend in advance, because Baskin-Robbins Singapore publishes no prices anywhere on its own website and its only online ordering runs through GrabFood, where delivery pricing sits above the counter. Here is what the official post and poster actually say, what a third off is worth at various counter prices, and the fine print to check before you queue.

Museum of Ice Cream Brings Back Its Ice Cream Making Class for 3 Days: 7, 9 and 11 September 2026, $63 Bundle With Museum Entry
Museum of Ice Cream Singapore is bringing back its popular Ice Cream Making Class for three days only in the September school holidays: 7 (Monday), 9 (Wednesday) and 11 September (Friday) 2026, with 45-minute sessions at 11am and 2:30pm. Guests step behind the counter to make classic flavours from scratch (chocolate, strawberry, vanilla or mint) under MOIC's Scoop Professors, finish their sundae with toppings, and walk away with a Scoop Master Certificate. The $63 Ticket Bundle includes museum entry after the workshop, with unlimited treats across the 60,000 sq ft Dempsey space. One catch for parents: accompanying adults need their own museum ticket if they want to explore MOIC after the class. Sessions are limited, so book early at tickets.museumoficecream.sg.

REDMI Note 17 Early Bird: Up to S$80 Off on mi.com Till 30 Sep 2026, and the S$50 Upgrade That Now Costs S$20
Xiaomi's campaign banner shows four REDMI Note 17 prices. Its own terms and conditions publish seven, and the three the banner leaves out are where the money is. The early bird cuts S$50 off the smaller configurations and S$80 off the bigger ones, which quietly collapses the S$50 gap between the REDMI Note 17 Pro 5G 6+256 and 8+256 down to S$20: S$499 against S$519 for two more gigabytes of RAM. The other line worth skipping is the 4G REDMI Note 17 6+256 at S$349, because S$50 more buys the 5G model at S$399 with a free pair of REDMI Buds 8 that Xiaomi's own site prices at S$59.90. Deal roundups are also calling this a pre-order window that shuts on 2 September. Xiaomi's terms say the campaign runs to 23:59 on 30 September 2026, on mi.com and the Mi app only.

Seoul Garden 2+2 Gentlemen Night: 2 Men Dine Free Every Thursday in September, From $19.95++ a Head
Seoul Garden has put up its first table-wide buffet giveaway in a long while, and the maths is better than the poster lets on. On the four Thursdays of September 2026 (3, 10, 17 and 24), two gentlemen eat free with every two paying adults at dinner. The catch nobody prints: it runs on the Premium tier ($39.90++) and above only, so the cheapest Regular tier is excluded. Do the sum anyway and a table of four pays $19.95++ each, about $23.92 after service charge and GST, which is 43% below the $41.85 a Regular-tier dinner actually costs you. The other trap is party size: a group of six still gets only two free seats, so six people pay $31.89 a head while eight people pay $23.92. We verified every figure against Seoul Garden's own promotions page, poster and menu on 28 August 2026, and its own outlet page lists six restaurants, not the seven being reported.

8 Order-Ahead Lunch and Coffee Apps for Singapore's CBD (2026): Order Online First, Then Just Walk In and Collect
The smartest CBD lunch trick in 2026 is not a discount, it is ordering before you leave your desk. These 8 chains let you order and pay online or in-app first, then collect at the counter with no queue: Starbucks (Mobile Order and Pay), McDonald's, KFC, Guzman y Gomez, SaladStop!, The Daily Cut, CHAGEE and Luckin Coffee. All 8 run their own official order-ahead channels (not just delivery apps), all have outlets in or around the CBD, and several sweeten the deal: SaladStop! charges the same prices online as in-store, Luckin sells new app users their first cup for $0.99, and free GOMEX membership makes every 6th Guzman y Gomez barista coffee free. Every ordering channel below was re-verified on each brand's own site, app listing or help centre on 5 September 2026.

OG 64th Anniversary Sale: 20% Off Storewide, 27 Aug to 4 Oct 2026, and the Only Window All Year Where Gold Membership Costs $75 Instead of $300
OG turned 64 and opened its anniversary sale today, Thursday 27 August 2026. It runs to Saturday 4 October, which is nearly six weeks, and the brand's own artwork prints three pillars across it: 20% off storewide, Rewards Points redemption, and free gifts with purchase. The 20% is the in-store number, and OG has exactly two stores left, OG Albert at 60 Albert Street and OG People's Park at 100 Upper Cross Street, both open 11am to 8.30pm daily. But the number worth planning around is not the 20%. OG's own membership FAQ says a Basic member upgrades to Gold on a $75 nett same-day spend during the Anniversary Sale, against $300 nett after it, and OG's membership page confirms Gold renewal is deliberately tied to this sale, which it says typically starts on the last Thursday of August. That is a 4x difference on the same upgrade, available for six weeks and then gone. Two catches: you must be registered as a Basic member before you pay, because purchases made before you register do not count, and OG's own terms say the Gold 10% rebate is not given in conjunction with other promotions, so do not plan on banking 20% off and a 10% rebate on the same item. Online is a separate sale entirely: OG's website lists 14 anniversary lines, all in stock, and eight of them beat 20%, topping out at a 3-pack of EGMONT Manuka Honey UMF12+ 1kg at $225 against $675.

DINOSAUR ODYSSEY Brings 15 Life-Sized Dinosaurs to Resorts World Sentosa, 3 to 6 Dec 2026: Tickets $58 to $128, Early Bird 10% Off From 3 Sep
Japan's DINO-A-LIVE is bringing DINOSAUR ODYSSEY, billed as the world's most realistic live dinosaur show, to Resorts World Convention Centre from 3 to 6 December 2026. It is the first large-scale indoor DINO-A-LIVE Premium production outside Japan: a 70-minute non-verbal show where 15 ultra-realistic, life-sized dinosaurs (including a Tyrannosaurus, Triceratops, Stegosaurus and Brachiosaurus) move, breathe and roam within arm's reach of the audience. Tickets are $58 to $128 (plus $6 booking fee) via SISTIC and KLOOK, with sales opening 12pm on 3 September 2026 and an early bird 10% off from 3 to 9 September. There is also a $320 Family Package, a $168 VIP Package limited to 28 per show, and a $30 T-Rex Photo Experience with a 12-metre T-Rex, limited to 100 per show.

Sa Sa's Buy 2 Free 3 on Boxed Sheet Masks Ends 31 Aug: 5 Boxes for the Price of 2, and the Mix-and-Match Trap
Sa Sa Singapore is running a Mix & Match Buy 2 Free 3 on boxed sheet masks from 26 to 31 August 2026: five boxes leave the shop, two get scanned. On boxes of equal price that is a 60% discount, which is a better rate than the 2 @ 50% off Sa Sa is running on skin care and hair care in the same week. Four things the reposts leave out. First, the poster says BOXED SHEET MASKS, which rules out the dozens of single-sheet masks Sa Sa sells at $2.50 apiece, and it says selected boxes only, so the till is the final authority. Second, the poster does not say which three of the five are free. On promotions built this way the cheapest usually come off, and that makes the pairing everything: put Suisse Programme's $235 Caviar Pre Lift box in with four $15 Soo Beaute boxes and you save $45 on a $295 basket, a 15% discount on a deal advertised at 60%. Third, the best-value play priced off Sa Sa's own store is SNP's Skin Re:Turn Essence Mask 10's at $25 a box in three variants, so five boxes is $50 for 50 sheets, about $1 a sheet. Fourth, the deal sites listing this as in-store or online point at Sa Sa's Weekend Special page, which carried a different set of offers on 27 August, and we could not find Buy 2 Free 3 badged anywhere on sasa.sg, so the five stores are the reliable route. Sa Sa has only five shops in Singapore and none of them is in town.

8 Best Hair Loss Treatment Centres in Singapore 2026: First Trials From $28, and What They Really Cost After
Every hair and scalp centre in Singapore opens with the same move: a first-trial price far below the treatment's stated worth, then a package quoted only in the room. We priced eight of them off their own pages on 27 August 2026. Yun Nam is the cheapest real trial in the country at $28, and it is not a stripped-down session: a scalp scan, a one-on-one consultation and a customised FASTGro treatment, open to new customers aged 18 and above at nine outlets. Svenson's $30.52 is the most treatment per dollar because it stacks four of its top-selling treatments into one sitting and adds a home-care set, and it is the only brand here that prints every price GST-inclusive, which is why $30.52 is really $28 and $52.32 is really $48. Anagen Scalp charges $38 against a stated $380 for a 60 to 90 minute session that includes an exosome choice, a plasma scalp boost and low-level laser. TK TrichoKare's $59.90 nett runs 2.5 hours against $755 of stated worth and is the only trial that sends you home with product. Beijing 101 asks $68 against a printed $762 and lets you aim it at greying rather than thinning. And PHS Hairscience is the outlier that makes the whole page legible: no trial gimmick, a free scalp scan, and the only published full-session prices in this roundup, $303 for its H2 Advanced Scalp Repair and $363 for the Nanogold Stem Cell hair loss treatment. Read those two numbers next to a $28 trial and you can see exactly what the trial is for.

7 Best Gold Jewellery Shops in Singapore 2026: 916 and 999 Gold Price Per Gram Compared at Every Shop
Gold sat near record highs through 2026, which changed what a gold shop is actually selling you. The design on the tag matters less than the number the shop quotes per gram, and on 9 September 2026 that number ranged from S$223 to S$238 for the same 916 gold depending on which door you walked through. We re-checked the published per-gram rate on seven Singapore retailers' own websites on the same day, then looked at what each one adds on top: the workmanship charge, the 9% GST, and the promotion, if any. The order has changed since our August check. Then the two pawnbroking chains held the two cheapest rates; now ValueMax is still the cheapest by a wide margin while Maxi-Cash has moved past both jewellery chains to the dearest quote on the page. Only one of the seven still puts its discount on the workmanship fee, which is the part of the bill that is not set by the market.

KOI Thé x Arknights: Endfield, 20 Aug to 3 Sep 2026: Free Collab Merch With Every Winter Melon Drink, From $5.30
KOI Thé Singapore is running an Arknights: Endfield collaboration from 20 August to 3 September 2026 at all designated KOI Thé and KOI Thé Express stores, and the whole thing hangs on one small menu section: the Winter Melon Series. Buy any one Winter Melon drink and KOI's own poster promises a collaboration cup sleeve, a dispatch ticket and one transparent card (4 designs, handed out at random). Buy any two and you get two of each, plus your pick of a chibi sticker or a paper coaster. Buy two and post the drinks on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook or RED with #ENDFIELDxKOI and KOI adds a character acrylic standee (Arcane, Zhuang Fangyi, Frossi or Camille). Two things the reposts drop. The Winter Melon Series is exactly four drinks, and the merch is identical whichever you pick, so the cheapest cup is the correct cup: on foodpanda the M Winter Melon Tea and M Winter Melon Green Tea are $5.30 while the Milk Tea and Lemon Juice are $6.00, meaning the two-drink tier costs $10.60 at the bottom and $12.00 at the top for the same haul. And the Suntec City meet-and-greet with the official cosplayers was a one-day event on 23 August that is already over, so anyone heading down for it this week is going for nothing. Designs are random, cannot be exchanged, vary by outlet, and run only while stocks last.

8 Best Eyebrow Embroidery Salons in Singapore 2026: Trial Prices From $168, Usual Prices to $1,900
Every brow studio in Singapore leads with a trial price, and the trial price is not the price. La Vida charges $168 nett for a misty brow, while its own misty page prices that treatment at $468 with a touch-up attached. Serenity Beaute used to print a regular price beside every trial price; it has now pulled those per-style figures, and all that survives on its site is a range, $98 to $988. Browhaus advertises a $300 trial on the same site whose rack card runs $600 to $1,900 depending on style and whether you get a Specialist or a Master Specialist. SleekBrow publishes no trial at all and charges $120 for the first touch-up on top of a $490-$900 brow. Erabelle doesn't sell one session: its Erabrowlogy is a four-session course at $1,600.12, and those odd cents are 9% GST on $1,468. We priced eight salons off their own published menus on 26 August 2026 (trial, usual, touch-up and outlets), and two of them turned out to sit in the same building on Anson Road, two floors apart, at $188 and $298.

Sentosa Is Giving Away a Glow-in-the-Dark Disney Pin for a S$60 UOB Spend to 20 Sep — But Its Own Page Lists NINE Redemption Counters While the Terms on That Same Page Name Only TWO, and Buying Your Tickets Online (or at a Discount) Is Exactly What Disqualifies You
Sentosa Development Corporation is running a spend-and-redeem with UOB: S$60 in a single receipt at Sentosa attractions or dining gets you one free \"A Magical Island Adventure: Let's Set Sail with Disney Cruise Line\" Glow-in-the-Dark Medallion Pin, blind packed. It runs 24 June to 20 September 2026, so there are 26 days left. Two things the reposts miss, and both are on Sentosa's own page. First, the page contradicts itself on where you collect: the body lists NINE redemption counters with opening hours — VivoCity, Beach Station, Resorts World, Imbiah Lookout, Sensoryscape, Palawan, Sentosa Cove and two at Sentosa Golf Club — while the Terms and Conditions further down name only TWO, Beach Station Enquiry Lounge and the Palawan kiosk. Beach Station is in both lists and open daily 9am to 9pm, so that is where to go. Second, the qualifying rules quietly punish the smart way to buy: online purchases are excluded outright, and the S$60 is measured on the nett amount after all discounts, so a $70 ticket bought at 20% off is a $56 receipt and no pin. Also worth knowing: the card does not have to be Singapore-issued — UOB cards from Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam and Thailand qualify — redemption must happen the same day, the Palawan counter only opens at 6pm, and it is one pin per transaction, so collecting the eight designs on Sentosa's artwork means roughly 22 blind packs and over S$1,300 of counter spending.

F&N Magnolia's Winnie the Pooh Pouches Are a Gift-With-Purchase, Not a Freebie — the Flash on Magnolia's Own Carton Says 2 x 946ml Per Pouch, So All Five Designs Is 10 Cartons, 9.46 Litres of Fresh Milk and ~$32.75, and F&N Has Published No End Date At All
F&N MAGNOLIA has put Disney's Breakfast Besties artwork onto its 946ml and 200ml fresh milk and is running five collectible Winnie the Pooh drawstring pouches alongside it, from 17 August 2026 while stocks last. The reposts show the pouches; almost none of them show the mechanic. The promo flash printed on Magnolia's own carton reads "GET A DRAWSTRING POUCH with purchase of 2 x 946ml MAGNOLIA Pasteurised Milk (assorted)", and F&N's press release adds one alternative route — 2 x 700ml MAGNOLIA Yoghurt Smoothie. That is two cartons per pouch, so the complete set of five is ten cartons: 9.46 litres of pasteurised fresh milk, which at FairPrice's live Any 2 for $6.55 price works out to about $32.75. Three things the reposts leave out. F&N has published no end date — the release says only "while stocks last", so there is nothing to wait for and every reason to go early. The cute 200ml Disney cartons carry the artwork but are not named in the redemption line, which makes them the single easiest mistaken purchase in this promotion. And the pouches are redeemed in store rather than attached to the pack, so whether your minimart received any at all is the whole game. We also checked the second route: FairPrice's online store returned no results for "magnolia yoghurt smoothie" on 25 August, so that one is a chilled-aisle errand, not an online basket. And do not confuse any of this with FairPrice's own "Little Blooms, Big Adventures with Pooh" loyalty collection, which is a separate $30-per-receipt stamp programme closing 23 September 2026.

foodpanda PRO Week Is Back (24-30 Aug): 50% Off Pizza Hut, Maki-San & Starbucks for pandapro — Then Half-Price Hot Deals and 25-40% Off Bestsellers Till 27 Sep 2026
foodpanda has lined up a month of stacked promos, and the calendar matters. PRO Week runs 24 to 30 August 2026 and is exclusive to pandapro subscribers: at least 30% off selected food and grocery items with no minimum spend, 50% off selected picks from Pizza Hut, Maki-San and Starbucks, and 30% off selected groceries and essentials from pandamart, Cold Storage, Giant, Guardian and Wine Connection Retail. The moment it ends, two follow-on waves open to everyone: Half-Price Hot Deals (31 Aug to 16 Sep) with 50% off selected items from A-One Signature, Starbucks and Takagi Ramen, and Bestsellers (31 Aug to 27 Sep) at 25% off for all users or 40% off for pandapro on dishes from Anjappar, Burger King, Maki-San and more. Krispy Kreme Singapore Autumn Series: 4 Limited-Time Doughnuts, 26 Aug to 27 Sep 2026 — Citrus Kunafa, Strawberry Kunafa, Apple Krumbles & Hershey's ChocoNana
Krispy Kreme Singapore's Autumn Series is a limited-time collection of four seasonal doughnuts, available at all outlets from 26 August to 27 September 2026 while stocks last. The line-up: Citrus Kunafa (lemon cream cheese filling with a refreshing lemon drizzle), Strawberry Kunafa (strawberry cream cheese filling with a luscious strawberry drizzle), Apple Krumbles (apple crumbles topped with a rich toffee drizzle) and Hershey's ChocoNana (banana filling topped with a decadent chocolate drizzle). It runs from zesty citrus and juicy strawberry to apple crumble and rich chocolate-banana, so there is something for every doughnut lover.

Paris Baguette's National Day eVouchers Run to 31 Aug — 2 Roll Cakes for $20 (U.P. $33) Is 39% Off, the 5-for-$10 Madeleines Only 23%, and There Is a THIRD Coupon Nobody Listed
Paris Baguette is the one big bakery chain in Singapore that publishes no prices on its own website, so its National Day eVouchers are the only place its numbers show up in the open — and the numbers do not say what the reposts say. Three coupons sit live on Greendot Media's NDP portal, all expiring 31 August 2026: 2 Mix & Match Roll Cakes for $20 against a usual $33, 5 assorted Madeleines for $10 against $13, and — listed by nobody we could find — a Hot N' Honey Baguette Chip at $3 against $3.80. Rank them by what they actually take off and the order flips from how they are headlined: the roll cakes are 39.4% off and worth $13, the madeleines 23.1% and worth $3, the chips 21.1% and worth 80 cents. The roll-cake coupon also carries a gate the write-ups drop entirely — it applies to roll cakes AT $16.50, and its own terms say a top-up applies to anything dearer, which on a catalogue of four roll cakes including a Musang King durian one is not a hypothetical. All three exclude Jewel Changi Airport and every Changi Airport terminal outlet, and none of them stack — which matters more than it sounds, because Paris Baguette's own promotions page is running a Buy 4 Get the 5th Free bread bundle, a weekday 8–11am half-price breakfast drink, and a roll-cake bundle of its own at 2 for $25 that is $5 worse than the coupon you would be giving up.

All Three of Jollibee's "Shiok Savers" Cost $9.90 — But Its Own Poster Prices the Discounts at $6.40, $8.45 and $9.25, So Combo C Is Nearly Half Off and Combo A Is Not (Now to 30 Sep 2026)
Jollibee Singapore has three combos on its Shiok Savers poster and every one of them rings up at $9.90 — a chicken sandwich set, a two-piece Chickenjoy with rice and fries, and a two-piece Chickenjoy with spaghetti. What the poster also prints, in three different corners, is three different savings: $6.40, $8.45 and $9.25. Work backwards from Jollibee's own numbers and the a-la-carte totals are $16.30, $18.35 and $19.15, which makes Combo C a 48% discount and Combo A a 39% one at exactly the same price — a $2.85 gap on a $9.90 order. Two more things the write-ups skip: the campaign is dine-in and takeaway only, so ordering it on a delivery app will not get you this price, and Jollibee's own website Deals page does not mention Shiok Savers at all. Runs to 30 September 2026 at all 25 stores.

Takashimaya's Mid-Autumn Mooncake Fair Is Open (20 Aug – 25 Sep 2026) — the Early Bird Goes to 35%, Not the 30% Everyone Reported, and Goodwood Park Isn't Discounted at All
Takashimaya Square B2 is a mooncake hall again: the Mid Autumn Festive Celebration 2026 opened on Thursday 20 August and runs to Friday 25 September — Mid-Autumn day itself — daily 10am to 9.30pm, with 61 brands announced and 539 items live in the Mid-Autumn category of Takashimaya's own online store as we checked on 23 August. The announcement promised early bird savings of "up to 30%", and every write-up copied it, but the store says otherwise: Swiss Cottage Bakery's five SG Bundles are marked 35% off ($73.60 to $47.84 on Bundle A), Bread and Butter Bakehouse sits at 30% (its Mini Piglet baked pastry 4-piece falls from $26.80 to $18.80), Tily Tea at 20% and Rasa Sayang at 10%. The more useful finding is the other end of the range: the early bird is set brand by brand, not fair-wide, and Goodwood Park Hotel — the name with the queue — carries no discount at all, its Kum Toy and four-yolk 4-piece boxes both sitting at a flat $100. Takashimaya is also running a site-wide DBP25 code, $25 off every $250, which is another 10% on a gifting-sized order if it stacks. And because the baked boxes are made without preservatives and the listings advise eating within 5 days, buying a hotel box in August for a late-September reunion is not a plan.

Mandai's Wildlife Mooncakes Are 20% Off Till 31 Aug (Code EBMAF26) — $68 for the 4-Piece Keepsake Box, But Buying the Same Four Loose Costs $91 and Delivery Is a Flat $35
Mandai Rainforest Resort by Banyan Tree opened orders on 21 August for "Beneath the Rainforest Moon", a Mid-Autumn collection of four baked mooncakes embossed with a pangolin, a panda, a macaw and a gibbon — and its own ordering site is running an early bird of 20% off with promo code EBMAF26 on purchases made before 31 August 2026. That takes the Assorted 4-Piece with Keepsake Box from $85 to $68, and the Mix & Match box from $90 to $72. The trap is the à la carte page: the four flavours bought as singles cost $25 + $22 + $22 + $22 = $91, which is $6 MORE than the assorted box that includes the box, so there is no version of this where loose pieces are the cheaper buy. The second trap is delivery — it is free only on orders of 50 boxes and above, and a flat $35 per location otherwise, which is double the $17 the code saves you on a single box. Collection runs 21 Aug to 25 Sep 2026, the festival day itself, from a booth in the resort lobby at 60 Mandai Lake Road, 10am–7.30pm daily.

AVS Brings Its First Adoption Drive Into the CBD: Paws in the City, 27-29 August at Guoco Tower - Free Entry, 10 Rescue Groups, and a Free-Licence Deadline Two Days Later
The Animal & Veterinary Service is running its first ever pet event in the Central Business District: Paws in the City, 27 to 29 August 2026, 11am to 8pm, at Urban Park in Guoco Tower, 1 Wallich Street - a three-day adoption drive with ten animal welfare groups, a marketplace, caricature artists, a talk on fostering, a DIY dog-toy workshop from recycled materials, and a Best Ridiculously Dressed Owner and Dog Contest on the Saturday evening. AVS publishes no ticket and no registration link, and it is pitched at the office crowd as a lunch-break or after-work stop. Two things the write-ups have missed. First, the schedule is not the same every day: every group whose remit includes cats or birds - Love Kuching Project, the Parrot Society (Singapore), the SPCA and Purely Adoptions - is rostered on THURSDAY 27 August, so Friday and Saturday are effectively dog days. Second, and this is the money: the event ends on Saturday 29 August, and the free pet-cat licensing window closes on Monday 31 August. Adopt a cat there and you have two days to microchip it, finish the compulsory free online pet ownership course and file on PALS to get a free lifetime licence. Miss it and from 1 September it is an offence under the Animals and Birds Act to keep an unlicensed pet cat, with fines of up to $5,000 - and AVS's own licence-fee page still has the post-31-August table published but completely blank, so the S$35 figure everyone is quoting is the DOG schedule, not a published cat fee.

PAUL's Teacher's Day Box: 12 Mini Macarons for $15.90 (U.P. $25.90) With Their Name Written On It, 20 Aug - 7 Sep 2026 - But Teachers' Day Falls on 4 Sep and the School Break Starts the Next Morning
PAUL Singapore has cut its box of 12 mini macarons from $25.90 to $15.90 for Teacher's Day, and the box comes with a fill-in sleeve so it can be personalised with the teacher's name and yours. The French bakery announced it on its own Instagram on 14 August with the window 20 August to 7 September 2026, and confirmed on its own Facebook page on 21 August that the offer is now open. At $15.90 for twelve that is about $1.33 a macaron against $2.16 at the usual price - a $10 saving, or 38.6% off. The date to watch is not 7 September, though. MOE's own 2026 calendar puts Teachers' Day on Friday 4 September and the Term III-IV school break on Saturday 5 to Sunday 13 September, so schools mark the day on Thursday 3 September and the promo's last three days land when there is nobody at school to hand it to. Two more things PAUL's post does not mention: three of its ten outlets are CBD counters that close on Saturday afternoon or all weekend, and the Changi Terminal 1 store sits in the departure and transit lounge, past immigration.

MILO Van Sachets Now Come With Free Sports Day Socks — 6 Designs, 1 Random Pair a Pack, and Collecting the Set Costs About $132
MILO Singapore has put a free pair of limited-edition MILO Sports Day Socks inside every MILO Van Sachets Promotional Pack — $8.95 for 12 x 26g at FairPrice, rolling out at major supermarkets and e-retailers from 18 August 2026, while stocks last. There are six designs — MILO MVP, Cheerleader, Fan, NAPFA Gold, Hunters and Repeat Queuers — and the pack's own small print is the catch: one RANDOM pair in every pack, free size, no way to pick. On FairPrice Online the design is explicitly at FairPrice's own discretion. Run the collector maths and completing all six by luck alone takes about 15 packs — roughly $132 and 176 sachets of MILO. Worth knowing before you stock up: at the identical $8.95, MILO's Original 16-sachet pack holds 480g of powder against the Van pack's 312g, so the Van pack is the most expensive MILO sachet per gram on the shelf. You are paying for the Van recipe and the socks, not for volume.

Free at One Punggol: Bus Safety Roadshow 2026 — 21 & 22 August, Hands-On Kid-Friendly Booths and Free Souvenirs (Times Differ Each Day)
Bus Safety Roadshow 2026 is a free, family-friendly event at One Punggol, Celebration Square 1 & 2, on Friday 21 and Saturday 22 August 2026. Organised by the Ministry of Transport and the Land Transport Authority with the public bus operators, it packs exhibitions, interactive booths and hands-on activities that teach kids and adults how to stay safe on and around buses, plus free souvenirs to redeem while stocks last. One thing to get right before you go: the hours are different on each day. Friday runs 1.30pm to 8pm, and Saturday runs 10am to 8pm. Entry is free and no ticket is needed, and with the cheery SG Bus mascot theme it is an easy northeast outing for the weekend.

Starbucks × Mofusand Returns 25 Aug, $17.90–$49.90 — but the $53.90 Blind Box “Set” Costs 20 Cents MORE Than Three Singles, and the Free Cup Bag Is Delivery-Only (Not Mobile Order & Pay)
The Singapore-exclusive Mofusand™ + Starbucks® collection is back on Monday 25 August 2026, nine SKUs from $17.90 to $49.90, on sale in store from opening (6.30am at 24-hour outlets), on the Starbucks Online Store from 10am and on LazMall and Shopee Mall from 12pm, limit 2 pieces per item per customer per transaction. Ahead of it, the Mofusand Glass Voucher Pack — $44.90 for a limited-edition glass cup plus four drink vouchers Starbucks values at $68 all-in — went on sale online only at 10am today, Friday 21 August, capped at 5 packs per transaction. Two lines from Starbucks’ own page that the reposts skip. First, the Blind Box Keychain Set is $53.90 while three individual blind boxes are $17.90 each, or $53.70 — the “set” costs 20 cents MORE, and Starbucks does not say it guarantees one of each of the three designs. Second, the free Mofusand cup bag with a $25 nett delivery spend is explicitly “not available for in-store purchase or Mobile Order & Pay”, so ordering ahead on the Starbucks app does not earn one — it has to be Starbucks Delivers, GrabFood or foodpanda. Also here: overnight queueing is banned, stores run an order-sheet system, and a maxed-out basket of two of everything comes to $454.40 against a Starbucks Card that holds only $300.

Audio House's Overstock Clearance Opens Tomorrow (21–30 Aug) With "Free $300 eCashback" — But Its Own FAQ Says You Can Either EARN eCashback or SPEND It, Never Both, So $300 Takes $1,500 of Further Spending to Use
Audio House runs its Electronics Overstock Clearance Sale from Friday 21 to Sunday 30 August 2026 at the Audio House Building, 23 Ubi Road 4, and the poster promises three things: up to 80% cheaper, free $300 eCashback with every $500 spent, and an extra $400 eCashback matched dollar-for-dollar against NEA Climate Vouchers. The eCashback line is the one to read slowly, because Audio House's own FAQ spells out a rule no repost mentions: for every $100 you spend you may EITHER gain $20 eCashback OR use $20 of eCashback you already hold — never both. A $300 stack therefore takes $1,500 of further spending to clear, and you earn nothing on that second trip. Two more things we checked on the eve of the sale. First, of the 84 priced products on Audio House's own front page tonight, 19 carry a "special price" identical to the U.P. — no discount at all — and the deepest cut on display is 58% (a JBL Bar 300 Pro at $549 from $1,319), not 80%. Second, every single one of the 78 products showing an "Extra $X eCashback" badge works out to exactly $20 per $100 of net price: that badge is the standing members' rate, not a sale bonus. And the climate-voucher arm has a location catch — Audio House's own listings say those items are eligible for Climate Vouchers at the showroom, so the $400 match means a trip to Ubi.

Singapore Airlines' New Fare Sale Opens Tomorrow (21 Aug): KL From S$158 Return With Taxes Already In — But the HSBC "Up to S$120 Off" Cannot Touch a Single Southeast Asia Fare
Singapore Airlines has published a new fare sale on its own Singapore promotions page: booking runs 21 August to 10 September 2026, with outbound travel from now to 31 July 2027, across more than 70 destinations. Economy to Kuala Lumpur starts at S$158, Penang S$208, Phuket and Phnom Penh S$248. Two things SIA states in its own FAQ change the arithmetic most people do in their head: every advertised fare is for a RETURN booking, not one-way, and the prices shown already include taxes and surcharges. The three card offers sitting beside the sale do not all work when you think they do — HSBC's headline "up to S$120 off" is really S$60 per return ticket capped at two passengers, its booking window is only 25-31 August, and it excludes every Southeast Asia destination, so it cannot be used on the S$158 Kuala Lumpur fare the sale is being advertised on. DBS/POSB's DBS50OFF does not start until 8 September, leaving a three-day overlap with the sale. And the Citi Prestige codes still on the page are marked fully redeemed from a July window.

Lenskart x Old Chang Kee's Curry'O Eyewear Is S$90 on Lenskart's Own Site, Not the S$150 Everyone Is Quoting — But That 40% Is Sitewide, Not a Collab Perk, and the Pop-Up Ends at Eastpoint on 30 Aug
Old Chang Kee's curry puff is now a pair of glasses. The collaboration is confirmed on Old Chang Kee's own news page (filed as "Old Chang Kee x Lenskart Collaboration") and Lenskart has given it a permanent collection page — but the S$150 price tag being repeated everywhere is the list price, not the selling price. Lenskart's own site shows all three Curry'O frames at S$90 with the coupon BUY1. The catch nobody has published: that 40% is not a collab discount at all, it is Lenskart Singapore's sitewide offer, carried identically by all 397 frames on the site — the house Essentials range is S$60 WITH lenses, and the ordinary Switch range is the same S$90 from S$150. So you are paying a S$30 premium over the cheapest lens-inclusive frames for the branding, not getting a markdown. Lenskart's own campaign banner also corrects the freebie: every order includes a limited-edition Curry'O pouch and dabao box, not the "case and microfibre cloth" being reported. And the S$90 carries no "with lenses" label, with the offer explicitly not applicable to progressive and high power.

Raffles Singapore Mooncakes — 20% Off Online With Six Banks Till 18 Sep, But the North Bridge Road Booth Has Already Dropped to 15% (and Falls to 10% on 1 Sep)
Raffles Hotel's 2026 mooncakes are on an early-bird ladder, and almost every write-up quotes the wrong one. The 20% off / 15% off / 10% off steps everyone is repeating are the IN-STORE rates at the Raffles Mooncake Booth — and that ladder has already stepped down: the 20% window closed on 16 August, so a walk-in today gets 15%, and from 1 September it drops again to 10%. Online is a different, flatter deal: pay with an AMEX, Citi, DBS, OCBC, HSBC or UOB credit or debit card and you get a straight 20% off, applied automatically at checkout, all the way to 18 September. On a S$105 box that is S$84.00 online versus S$89.25 at the booth today — and S$84.00 versus S$94.50 once September starts. Two things are carved out of every single discount, in-store and online: the S$228 Premium Baked Mooncake Box and the limited-edition flavours, which this year means the S$107 Guojiao 1573 Baijiu Black Sesame snow-skin. Mid-Autumn falls on Friday 25 September, and the booth at 328 North Bridge Road runs daily 10am-8pm until that date.

Bibik Violet's Seasonal Durian Specials Are Great World ONLY and End 31 Aug — Durian Chendol, Durian Sago Gula Melaka and Pulut Tai Tai With Durian Kaya, Plus a $1 Kopi Window Its Own Site Never Mentions
Violet Oon's all-day Peranakan cafe Bibik Violet is running three seasonal durian desserts, and the brand's own campaign artwork puts a hard boundary on them: 'AVAILABLE EXCLUSIVELY AT GREAT WORLD UNTIL 31 AUG'. The three are Durian Chendol, Durian Sago Gula Melaka and Pulut Tai Tai with Durian Kaya — so the Temasek Shophouse outlet next to Plaza Singapura does not have them, and neither does the delivery menu. We went through Bibik Violet's own site, its August 2026 Great World menu PDF and its online-ordering platform, and three things are worth knowing before you go. First, none of the three durian items appears anywhere on order.bibikviolet.com — this is a walk-in, eat-there deal, not something you can pre-order or have delivered. Second, Bibik Violet has not published a price for any of them; what its own menu does publish is the non-durian baseline — Sago Gula Melaka at $4.90 and Chendol at $5.50 — and the line at the bottom of that menu, 'prices are subject to 10% service charge and 9% GST', which turns a $5.50 bowl into about $6.60 before the durian upgrade. Third, the $1 kopi-or-teh window between 3pm and 5pm that has been widely reported alongside this campaign does not appear on Bibik Violet's website, its menu PDF or its ordering platform — treat it as reported rather than confirmed, and ask at the counter.

Cold Storage Turns 123: Free Personalised Tote Bag on the Last Two Weekends (22–23 Aug Great World, 29–30 Aug Tanglin) — But There IS a $60 Minimum Spend
Cold Storage is 123 years old this month, and its anniversary campaign has two halves that are easy to confuse. The half people are sharing is the free limited-edition tote bag you can personalise on the spot with up to three participating brand logos and up to 10 letters of your choice — and several deal blogs have written it up as a straight giveaway. The brand's own campaign artwork says otherwise: you must spend a minimum of $60 in a single receipt on any products and present that receipt to redeem. The roadshow runs weekends only, 11am to 7pm: Paragon on 15–16 August (now done), Great World on 22–23 August, and Tanglin on 29–30 August, while stocks last. The quieter half is the better-value one — a 159-product 'CS 123 Years' price list that is live right now on coldstorage.com.sg, and it is where that $60 receipt should come from. The standouts we checked today: two Brown Brothers Moscatos for $40 instead of $62, a Penfolds Champagne Cuvée Brut gift box at $59.90 (U.P. $86), any two Tim Tams for $8, and Arla sliced cheeses at $7.50 (U.P. $8.55). Cold Storage does not publish an end date for the price list, so treat the 30 August roadshow as the date that is actually fixed.

Cheapest Supermarket in Singapore 2026: Sheng Siong vs FairPrice vs Giant vs Cold Storage, and Where CDC Vouchers Stretch Furthest
Eight supermarket chains, re-checked against their own official pages on 6 September. September is the CHAS month. Giant is giving CHAS Blue and Orange cardholders 6% off at every store on every day of the week from 3 to 25 September, and FairPrice has doubled its own CHAS rate to 6% from 3 September to 1 January, but only on Thursdays for Blue and Fridays for Orange. Sheng Siong is still the cheapest place to buy staples: its housebrand Buy 1 Free 1 block runs 4 to 17 September, its 7th Month promotion closes on 10 September, and its famous 4% senior discount is not daily, it runs Tuesdays and Wednesdays only. FairPrice's 500-item Price Freeze lapsed on 31 August and was not renewed. The DBS/POSB Saturday eggs-and-rice deal ended on 29 August, but Giant has opened two new weekend card offers to 25 October: $5 off $50 islandwide and $8 off $80 at Tampines Hypermarket and IMM. Cold Storage's weekend $7-off runs to 18 October. Plus the three shops most people forget: Scarlett for China-imported snacks, Mustafa for 24/7 bulk, and Don Don Donki for Japanese, whose Orchard Central branch trades round the clock. And the CDC voucher rule that trips everyone up: the supermarket pile and the hawker pile are separate, and card offers with a minimum spend generally do not stack with vouchers at all.

TASTE the Break: High Tea Made with KITKAT at ibis Singapore on Bencoolen — S$60++ for Two, Daily 2pm to 5pm (3 Aug to 31 Dec 2026)
ibis Singapore on Bencoolen has turned the afternoon coffee break into a proper high tea. At its TASTE Restaurant, the new 'TASTE the Break: High Tea Made with KITKAT' is S$60++ for two guests, served daily from 2pm to 5pm, from 3 August right through to 31 December 2026. Each guest starts with a welcome drink — a KITKAT Mocha with Pistachio or a Shaken Yuzu Americano — then shares six Asian-inspired savoury bites, from Smoked Salmon with Chuka Salsa on baguette to Tempura Ebi with salted egg yolk sauce. Dessert is where the KITKAT collaboration shows up: a shared Made with KITKAT Chocolate Bar Mousse Cake to split, and an individual Made with KITKAT Apple Crumble each. Reserve on 9238 3573 or book online.

Museum of Ice Cream Singapore Turns 5: Free General Admission for Eligible Past Visitors, Plus an All-Day Birthday Bash on 29 August 2026
Museum of Ice Cream (MOIC) Singapore is marking five years with a thank-you to the guests who have visited since it opened its pink doors in 2021 — and there are two separate things to know. First, eligible past visitors can claim one complimentary General Admission ticket: if you visited between 1 August 2021 and 30 June 2026 and bought your tickets through tickets.museumoficecream.sg, you can submit that booking email through an official Google form, and verified guests get a unique promo code to book a free ticket (one redemption per booking email). The code must be used to book by 27 August 2026, and the complimentary ticket is valid until 30 September 2026. Second, everyone is invited to a one-day birthday celebration on Saturday, 29 August 2026, 10am to 6pm at MOIC's Dempsey home, with complimentary face painting, glitter tattoos, a roaming balloon sculptor and a free children's storytelling session from 4pm to 5pm.

Cheers Breakfast Club 2026: the 51-Store List Is Out for the 12,000 FREE Breakfast Bundles Worth Over $25 (3-6 Sep), and Two Stores Shut Before the Weekend
FairPrice Foundation is running the Cheers Breakfast Club for a third year, giving away 12,000 free breakfast bundles, each worth more than $25, to Primary 6 students sitting the PSLE. Redemption opens 3 September 2026 at 1pm and runs through 6 September, first come first served while stocks last. The store list has now been published, and it settles the thing that mattered: 51 outlets, down from 113 last year, so the same 12,000 bundles are concentrated into fewer than half the pickup points. Two of the 51 close for the weekend and are only usable on 3 and 4 September, 14 are open 24 hours, and every item in the bag is halal certified. Full list by region below, plus what counts as proof your child is in P6.

Sheng Siong's Beauty & Health Fair Ends Wed 20 Aug: Buy-1-Free-1 Eversoft ($19.90) and Good Virtues Co. ($9.10), $2.50 SOFMI Overnight Panties — But the Three Spend Thresholds Are Three Separate Campaigns That Do NOT Pool
Sheng Siong's Beauty & Health fair has four days left — it closes Wednesday 20 August 2026 — and the catalogue's real value is not in the headline percentages, it is in three buy-one-free-one lines and one housebrand launch. Eversoft Nature Therapy Shampoo 450ml is $19.90 a bottle BUY 1 FREE 1, Good Virtues Co. Shower Cream 700ml is $9.10 a bottle BUY 1 FREE 1, and Darlie All Shiny White is $8.40 a set on a BUY 2 GET 1 FREE. The new housebrand SOFMI Overnight Panties (M-L / XL) land at $2.50 a 3-piece pack on a buy-2-free-1, which is the cheapest thing on the whole poster. Then there is the part that trips people up at the till: the catalogue carries THREE separate spend thresholds belonging to THREE different brand groups, and they do not combine. Kao wants $28 across Bioré, Essential, Liese and Laurier to hand you a $5 Sheng Siong voucher. Unilever wants $18 across Lifebuoy, Dove, Lux and Tresemme for a free Dove travel pouch worth $18 — and that one is at selected stores only. LION wants $18 across Systema, Kirei Kirei and Shokubutsu for a lucky-draw entry into an $8,000 prize pool. A $30 basket spread across all three brand families qualifies for none of them. Everything is capped at 3 per customer per transaction unless otherwise stated, while stocks last, and no traders.

POPULAR Jurong Point's Moving Out Sale: Up to 90% Off + 15% Off Regular-Priced Items Till 13 Sep — But the 15% REPLACES Your Member 10%, and VivoCity's Sale Dies TOMORROW (Sun 16 Aug)
POPULAR is closing two of its biggest stores, and both are running moving-out sales right now. The VivoCity branch (#B1-16/17) has been clearing since 31 July under an "Everything Must Go!" banner and shuts for good on Sunday 16 August — that is tomorrow, so this weekend is the entire remaining window. The Jurong Point branch (#B1-41), open since 1995 and described on POPULAR's own flyer as 31 years in the mall, started its sale on 14 August and trades until Saturday 13 September: up to 90% off selected items, 15% off regular-priced items storewide, and a $5 discount voucher at $60 nett spend for members or $70 for non-members. The line most people will miss is in POPULAR's own T&Cs: the sale is "not valid with any other discount (POPULAR Card/e-Card, vouchers and/or promotions)" — and POPULAR members already get 10% off storewide every day. So the 15% is not stacked on top of your card; it replaces it, and the real gain for a member is five percentage points, not fifteen. The flyer's headline clearance items also run on two separate sub-windows that both close before the store does: the crochet flower light ($7.90, U.P. $15.90) and the LARQ bottle ($29.90, U.P. $89.90) are 14–27 August only, while the RFID passport holder and the $15.90 Targus laptop sleeve do not start until 28 August and stop on 6 September — leaving the final week, 7–13 September, with neither.

Teachers' Day 2026 Singapore Is Friday, 4 September, but Schools Celebrate on Thursday, 3 September: 8 Gift Shops With Prices Checked Today
MOE lists Teachers' Day 2026 as Friday, 4 September, a scheduled school holiday and the last day of Term 3. Because nobody is in school that day, the classroom celebration runs on Thursday, 3 September, which is your real deadline. The other thing most parents miss: MOE educators have to declare gifts, and $50 is the threshold everyone quotes, with cash and shopping vouchers discouraged outright. So the useful list is not the most extravagant hamper. It is the shops selling individually packed, under-$50, clearly-a-token gifts at prices you can check yourself. Every price below was re-checked against each brand's own Singapore store on 1 September, and two things moved: Famous Amos has sold out of its entire $7.90 Teacher's Day box range, so its real entry price is now $14.80, and Sweetest Moments closes its kitchen every Tuesday, which is today. Still live: Sweetest Moments from $1.90 a piece and halal-certified across the whole range, which makes it the cheapest halal option here rather than the $6.50 All Things Delicious most guides send you to; Annabella's THANKTEACHER codes plus a 10-macaron bundle at $3.88 a head that beats its own $4.80 single; Misty Daydream personalised stamps from $12.90 with self-collection at Ang Mo Kio; and three florists who deliver to the staff room, the cheapest way in being FARM Florist's $16.90-a-stalk bundle from four.

Starbucks Singapore — The Unicorn Frappuccino Finally Lands Here, But Only 15–17 Aug and 19 Stores Are Cut Out; Plus the Bear-Verage Bearista Keychains Drop TODAY (12 Aug) at $19.90
Starbucks' most-photographed drink ever is coming to Singapore for exactly three days. The Unicorn Frappuccino — coconut milk blended with Strawberry Açaí and Mango Dragonfruit, finished with blueberry and white chocolate sauce plus Mango Dragonfruit and blueberry powders — runs Sat 15 to Mon 17 August 2026 only, in Grande size, at stores islandwide and on Mobile Order & Pay, while stocks last. The catch nobody is printing: 19 outlets are excluded, and they are almost all CBD office-tower and campus stores (Asia Square, Frasers Tower, Biopolis, SMU, SIM, Samsung Hub, 78 Shenton Way and more) — the exact shops that are shut or skeleton-staffed across a Saturday-to-Monday window. Running alongside it: the Bear-Verage Bearista plush keychains launch TODAY, 12 August, at $19.90 each in four drink designs (in stores from opening, online store 10am, LazMall and Shopee Mall 12pm), and a Starbucks collectible siren Lightbox lands 17 August, in-store only.

Starbucks Singapore — ANY Tall Drink at $4.90 Each, Min. 2 in One Order (11–14 Aug 2026): In-Store Counter Only, and the Kaya Toast Series & Reserve Are OUT
Starbucks Singapore has brought back its four-day flat-price run: any Tall-sized drink at $4.90 each when you order a minimum of two Tall drinks in a single transaction, from Tuesday 11 to Friday 14 August 2026. That's $9.80 for two, and there is no per-drink cap on how many you buy beyond the minimum pair. Three things decide whether it works for you, and all three are printed on Starbucks' own campaign artwork: it is valid in stores only, redeemed over the payment counter, so Mobile Order & Pay and delivery are both out; the Kaya Toast Series and Reserve beverages are excluded, which knocks out the $7.90 Kaya Toast Latte from the brand's own 'Shiok' menu; and top-ups are still charged for customisations, so an extra shot, alternative milk or syrup is billed on top of the $4.90. It also won't stack with any other promotion or privilege. You show the promo image at the counter to redeem.

Hej Cake Is Opening Its First Mall Store at Suntec City This September — Fresh-Fruit Cakes + Grand-Opening-Month Perks

It's slated for September 2026, and the brand is teasing grand-opening-month perks including a membership privilege card, a membership programme, and a giant table cake-cutting ceremony. Exact opening date and the full list of opening benefits are still to be confirmed, so follow @hej.cake.sg for the drop.

Sanrio's Pink 'Mr. Merlion' Plushies Are at Marina Square — Hello Kitty, My Melody & Kuromi in Merlion Costume, From $29 (Till 16 Aug)
The viral one from the 'Hello Singapore' Sanrio pop-up: a Singapore-exclusive Mr. Merlion plush line that dresses Hello Kitty, My Melody and Kuromi in a fuzzy pink Merlion costume. They're at the free pop-up at Marina Square (Level 2, Marina Foyer) until 16 August 2026, and the price drops the more you buy — $39 each for one, $35 each when you buy three items, and $29 each when you buy six. It's the same pop-up that carries the Hello Kitty x Merlion EZ-Link card, so you can grab both in one trip. These sell fast, so if the character you want is in stock, it's usually a grab-it-now situation.

Watsons' SG61 Sale Runs Till 19 Aug: $61 'Super Brand Boxes' Worth Up to $341.50, Plus a 2nd Item for 61 Cents — But the Brand Boxes Are ONLINE EXCLUSIVE and the 61¢ Only Kicks In on a Second Unit
Watsons' National Day sale is the quietest big one running: it started 23 July and goes till 19 August 2026, which makes it one of the few SG61 promos that outlives National Day weekend by ten days. Two things are worth your time. The 'SG $61 Super Brand Box' puts curated bundles at a flat $61 — a GNC Triple Strength Omega + Probiotic Complex set worth $132, an AFC Diamond Vision PRO set worth $120.90, a BIODERMA Atoderm set worth $100.80 — with the biggest, a GNC 3-in-1 fish-oil/whey/probiotic set, at $161 against a $341.50 usual price. Separately, a long list of health and beauty lines carries a '2nd item at $0.61' tag, which lands a pair at roughly half price. Two catches worth knowing before you plan a trip: the Brand Box listings are flagged ONLINE EXCLUSIVE, and the 61 cents applies to a second unit — so it only saves you money if you actually wanted two.

7 Best Bridal Studios in Singapore (2026): Wedding and Bridal Gown Rental Prices From S$420, and Why the Second Gown Costs More
A wedding gown is one of the few big-ticket wedding items you can rent instead of buy, which is exactly why bridal studio pricing is so hard to compare. Some quote a single all-in package, some charge a la carte per gown, and almost all quote before GST. We re-checked seven Singapore bridal studios directly against their own published rates on 6 September 2026, from a S$420 nett gown rental to a S$1,280 first gown, and mapped what each package actually covers, including the rental period you are really paying for, so you can compare like for like before you put down a deposit. This check moved the cheapest number on the page: The Aurora Wedding publishes a gown-only rental at S$420 nett with basic alteration and laundry included, which undercuts K Gown's S$550, and its all-in-one package has risen from S$698 to S$798 nett.

Klook's 8.8 Sitewide Codes Drop at 10am on 8 Aug — $20/$45/$80 Off, But You Only Get ONE, and the Banner's "$100 Off" Isn't in the Code Table
Klook's "Double Down This 8.8" campaign is live, and the sitewide promo codes for everyone drop at 1000hrs on 8 August 2026 — $20 off min spend $300, $45 off min spend $550, and $80 off min spend $800, all expiring at 2359hrs the same day or once fully redeemed, whichever comes first. Gold and Platinum members already got early access at 10am today: $35 off min $450 and $55 off min $600, valid till 2359hrs on 8 Aug. Three things worth knowing before you queue. First, the promotions are valid for one-time use per user account — you pick ONE code, you don't run all three, so the tier you choose is the whole decision. Second, the thresholds create a genuine cliff: at $780 you qualify only for the $45 code and pay $735, but at $800 you qualify for $80 and pay $720 — spending $20 more costs you $15 less. Third, Klook's own banner advertises "up to $100 OFF Sitewide", and no $100 sitewide code appears anywhere in the published terms; the largest one listed is $80. Card and payment-partner offers sit on a separate page and, per Klook's terms, can't be stacked into the same transaction anyway.

CHAGEE Opens Two Stores at Once — 2 Large Fresh Milk Teas for $8.85 at Bedok Mall & Sengkang Grand Mall, 7–8 Aug Only (Plus a Tear & Win That's App-Only)
CHAGEE is opening two new Singapore stores on the same weekend — Bedok Mall (#01-39/40) and Sengkang Grand Mall, both now live on CHAGEE's own store locator — and marking it with a two-day Grand Opening Bundle: 2 Large Fresh Milk Teas with the second cup at 50% off, for $8.85. That works out to about $4.43 a cup, and because the bundle is one-and-a-half cups' worth of money, it prices a large at $5.90 — a $2.95 saving on two. Three drinks qualify: BO•YA Jasmine Green Milk Tea (the chain's best-seller), Peach Oolong Milk Tea and Da Hong Pao Milk Tea. Two catches the listing sites gloss over: the bundle is available ONLY at these two outlets — not at any of CHAGEE's other Singapore stores — and the free Tear & Win cup upgrade, whose prize wall includes a smartphone, a CHAGEE tote, perfume and a tumbler, is for in-app purchases only, so Grab delivery and Grab pickup orders don't count. Both run 7–8 August 2026 while stocks last, and app orders must be collected within two hours of being marked ready.

Singapore Night Festival 2026 Guide (21 Aug – 5 Sep): Festival Map, Zones, 9 Must-See Highlights and What's Free
Singapore's largest nocturnal festival is into its closing week. The 17th edition opened on 21 August and runs to Saturday 5 September, taking over the whole Bras Basah.Bugis precinct with 97 programmes under one theme: Myths and Legends. The headline is a full projection-mapping takeover of the National Museum's facade by Indonesian collective The Fox, The Folks, called Tales of Earth and Sea and scored by Singapore's Artusik with UiTM Malaysia. It is free, needs no registration, and runs every night to the end. New this year is MALAM, the festival's first Southeast Asian projection-mapping competition, which switched from the Top 20 entries to the Top 5 on The Cathay's facade on 29 August. Almost everything else is free too. One ticketed headliner is still running: The Lost Legacy of Fort Canning: The Forbidden Hill, a 70-minute nocturnal trail across six stations on Bukit Larangan at $60 a ticket, on its last three nights of 3, 4 and 5 September. Two programmes have already finished their runs: Close-Act Theatre's Birdmen (21 to 23 August) and Horror Nights @ Oldham Theatre (22, 23 and 29 August). Hours are 7.30pm to 12mn on Fridays and Saturdays and 7.30pm to 11pm Sundays to Thursdays; walking the full trail takes about three hours at a slow pace. Here are the nine stops worth planning your night around, plus where to eat when your feet give out.

Fei Siong's SG61 Specials: $6.10 Fishball Noodles, $6.10 Rojak + Popiah and a $1 Coke — But Three of the Six Deals Are Outlet- or Time-Limited (6–12 Aug 2026)
Fei Siong Group — the operator behind 85 Redhill, Encik Tan, Malaysia Boleh!, SG Hawker, Let's Eat! and EAT. — has put six SG61 deals on the table from today, 6 August, through 12 August 2026. The headline is a set of $6.10 hawker plates: fishball minced meat noodle with lime juice at 85 Redhill (u.p. $6.50), chilli ban mian with iced lemon tea at Let's Eat! (u.p. $8.10), and one rojak plus one roll of popiah at Malaysia Boleh! and SG Hawker (u.p. $6.90). Here's the part the deal-listing sites have wrong: only 85 Redhill and Malaysia Boleh! run theirs at all outlets. Let's Eat!'s $6.10 ban mian is Lentor Modern #01-17 only, SG Hawker's rojak-popiah is i12 Katong #B1-06/08 only, EAT.'s 10% off laksa and lor mee is exclusive to GrabFood, and Encik Tan's $1 Coca-Cola Less Sugar runs on a completely different clock — 7 to 10 August, 2pm to 5pm, one per customer, and not at the three airport terminals. We've read all six of Fei Siong's own posters so you don't waste a trip.

BEST Denki 8.8 Lucky Sale: $8 Off EVERY $88 Spent, No Code Needed — Up to 70% Off + Free Delivery, Online Only (A $229 EuropAce Fan Is $61)
BEST Denki has put an automatic discount on top of an already-marked-down catalogue: spend every $88 on eligible items and $8 comes off at checkout, with no promo code to hunt for — it applies itself. That is a flat 9.1% on top of sale prices that already run to 70% off, and delivery is free. Two things to read carefully before you fill a cart. First, it stacks per $88 BLOCK, not pro-rata: $87 in the basket earns nothing, $176 earns $16, so nudging up to the next threshold is often free money. Second, the exclusion list is where most shoppers will trip — Apple products, mobile phones, smartwatches, pre-order items, limited offers, promotional items, Miele, Brandt, Epson, software and extended warranty are all out, which means the Galaxy Fold8 pre-orders on the same homepage do NOT count toward your $88. Phones and Apple get their own separate coupon ladder instead ($20/$30/$40 off with codes BDSAPL20, BDSAPL30 and BDSAPL40 on Apple). The standout on the floor right now is an SG61-priced EuropAce DC stand fan at $61 (U.P. $229) — 73% off, the deepest cut we could verify. It is online-exclusive, and BEST Denki publishes no end date: its own terms say only 'valid while redemption lasts'.

The Best MICHELIN Star Restaurants in Singapore 2026: What All Nine Actually Cost, From a S$8 Hawker Bowl to a S$743 Dinner
Singapore's 10th MICHELIN Guide landed on 4 August 2026 with 45 starred restaurants, and almost every roundup of them prints no prices at all. We pulled the menus off all nine of our picks on 7 September 2026. The cheapest fine-dining tasting menu is not at a one-star: it is JAAN's S$198++ lunch, which undercuts every three-star lunch in the country. Odette's vegetarian menus cost less than its meat ones at both services. Les Amis no longer publishes the cheap set lunch that roundups still quote. Meta is not on Keong Saik Road and has not been since 2023. And five of the nine are shut on Sundays.

Lau Pa Sat's Hawker Feast Plushies — Redeem a Free Blind-Box Hawker-Food Plushie With Every $30 Spend (Till 31 Aug)
Lau Pa Sat has turned Singapore's favourite hawker dishes into a limited-edition Hawker Feast Plushie Collection, and you can redeem one free. Spend S$10 at Lau Pa Sat to earn one stamp (you can combine up to two receipts a day); collect three stamps and you redeem one blind-box hawker-food plushie, in four designs: Hokkien Mee, Chicken Rice, Satay and Nasi Lemak. It runs from now until 31 August 2026, while stocks last. Here's how to collect.

Mayer TPP Atrium Sale @ Tengah (3-9 Aug): Three $89 NDP Deals + a $61 Induction Cooker & $61 Tower Fan Online - Plus a 5.5L Air Fryer at $59 (U.P. $299)
Mayer is running a National Day atrium sale at Tengah Plantation Plaza from 3 to 9 August 2026, 11am-9.30pm daily (127 Plantation Cres, #02-03), and its own campaign artwork headlines three NDP Special Deals at $89 each: Bundle A pairs a Mayer Induction Cooker (MMIC2045) with a Mistral 6-inch rechargeable foldable USB fan (MRF700); Bundle B pairs the same cooker with a Mistral 31-inch Tower Fan (MFD3103D); Deal C is a Mistral 14-inch DC Stand Fan with Wi-Fi and remote (MSF1455DRW, U.P. $229 - a 61% cut). The useful detail is that Mayer mirrors the sale online at mayer.sg, where the same SG61 items are priced individually - the induction cooker and the 31-inch DC tower fan are $61 each (U.P. $99), the AirZee Plus fan is $59.90 - so Bundles A and B are the only ones that actually beat the online price, while Deal C is matched online at $89. The deepest cuts sit in the online list rather than on the poster: a 5.5L air fryer at $59 (U.P. $299), a 5L digital air fryer at $89 (U.P. $349) and a handheld vacuum at $89 (U.P. $299). Sale ends Sunday 9 August.

Zenyum's National Day Sale — $90.90 for a 5-Piece Oral Care Bundle (61% Off), Plus 40% Off the Waterflosser Go & 28-Strip Whitening Pack (3–9 Aug 2026)
Zenyum has put a National Day banner across its own Singapore store and, unusually for an SG61 campaign, the headline number is real: the National Day Bundle is $90.90 against a stated usual price of $233.30, which is exactly 61% off. Inside are five products — the 45,000 VPM ZenyumSonic Electric Toothbrush 2.0, a Gentle Clean brush-head 4-pack, ZenyumFresh Floss, ZenyumBright Invisible Whitening Strips and a Relief + Guard sensitivity toothpaste — and we added up their individual U.P.s on Zenyum's own product pages: $233.20, so the claim checks out. The honest number is the other one, though. Zenyum discounts almost its entire catalogue year-round, and at the everyday prices those same five items are showing today, the set costs $181.50 — which makes the bundle a 50% cut, not 61%. Still the deepest price on the site. Two 'favourites' also drop 40%: the Zenyum Waterflosser Go at $65.90 (U.P. $109.90) and the new ZenyumBright Instant Whitening Strips 28s at $41.90 (U.P. $69.90). One trap to avoid: the site's own Waterflosser Go + Jet Tips Refill 2-Pack listing is still $115.90, while buying the flosser and the tips separately during the sale comes to $82.80 — the same two boxes, $33.10 cheaper. Sale runs 3 to 9 August 2026 only, online, free shipping above $40.

Jewel Canopy Park 1-for-1 Flash Sale — Buy 7–10 Aug, Visit Any Day Till 31 Aug 2026: Bouncing Net From $10.45 a Head, Mirror Maze From $7.95
Jewel Changi Airport has put a 1-for-1 flash sale on Canopy Park's LOCAL individual attraction tickets for National Day — and the useful part is that the buying window and the visiting window are different. You must purchase between 7 and 10 August 2026, but the ticket is valid for a single-day visit any time from 7 to 31 August, so you can buy over the long weekend and go when Jewel isn't heaving. On the local rates Jewel publishes, that works out to $10.45 a head for the Bouncing Net (U.P. $20.90), $7.95 for the Mirror Maze (U.P. $15.90) and $5.95 for the Hedge Maze or Mastercard Canopy Bridge (U.P. $11.90) — and every one of those tickets already includes Canopy Park admission with the Discovery Slides, Foggy Bowls, Petal Garden and Topiary Walk. The exclusions are where people will trip: the $6 Canopy Park sole ticket is NOT included, Bundle Deals 1–4 are NOT included, Standard (non-local) tickets are NOT included, and the free ticket must be the same type — adult pairs with adult, child with child.

mc.2's SG61 Sure-Win Lucky Dip — Spend $1,000 on Blinds or Curtains This August and Everyone Wins (Up to 61% Off)
mc.2, Singapore's largest smart blinds gallery, is marking SG61 with a Sure-Win Lucky Dip. Spend a minimum of S$1,000 in a single transaction on curtains, blinds or Zip Blinds at its showroom this August and you get one guaranteed prize from the capsule box, applied immediately to your purchase: 61% off storewide (top prize), $61 off, 6% off, or a free smart-home upgrade (MAGNAZip+, Somfy TaHoma or a Somfy Ondeis Wired Rain Sensor). Here's how it works.

Soup Restaurant SG61: 61% Off a National Day Dish on Weekdays — Laksa Prawns, Kopi O Pork Chop & Crocodile Soup (Till 31 Aug)
The 61%-off mechanic is everywhere this National Day, but most of them land on a token item. Soup Restaurant's version is on real food: from 16 July to 31 August 2026 you can take any one of six specially curated National Day dishes at 61% off, on weekdays, at its outlets islandwide. The six are Assam Uncle Lapan Fish, Laksa Prawns, Stir-Fried Pig's Blood Tofu with Mustard Green, Kopi O Pork Chop, Double-boiled Crocodile Soup with Wolf Berries, and Homemade Pandan Panna Cotta with Gula Melaka — a list that leans harder into old-school Singaporean cooking than almost any other SG61 menu running right now. Two things to read carefully: the discount is on any ONE of those dishes, not the whole menu, and it is weekdays only, which means National Day itself (Sunday 9 August) and the public holiday in lieu (Monday 10 August) are both out. Running alongside it are two OCBC card offers worth stacking your visit around — 1-for-1 selected vegetable dishes with a $50 minimum spend till 30 September, and a $7.90 double-boiled soup (U.P. up to $16.90) till 31 December — plus the chain's standing Early Bird discounts of 15–35% off if you eat outside peak hours. Prices are subject to 10% service charge and prevailing GST, and every offer is while stocks last.

Starbucks × POP MART MOLLY Lands 3 Aug — MOLLY's 20th-Anniversary Mermaid Drinkware From $35.90, Plus a Singapore-Exclusive Frappuccino
Starbucks x POP MART's MOLLY collection lands in Singapore on 3 August 2026 (from 10am), a summer mermaid-themed drop for MOLLY's 20th anniversary. Highlights: a Tumbler with Strap ($59.90), a Bearista Glass Cup ($59.90), a Foldable Umbrella ($45.90) and a Ceramic Mug with Saucer ($35.90), plus a Singapore-exclusive Strawberry & Cream Frappuccino in a Grande MOLLY cup. Limit 2 per item, per person; 9 outlets excluded. Here's the full line-up, prices and how to buy.

Bee Cheng Hiang National Day Sale — Online Only: 320g Minced Pork Bakkwa $18.80, Up to 61% Off Snacks, Any 2 Vacuum-Packed Bakkwa at 36.1% Off (Till 10 Aug 2026)
Singapore's best-known bakkwa brand has priced its 61st-birthday sale around the number 61 — and put the whole thing on its web store only. Bee Cheng Hiang's National Day Sale runs to 10 August 2026 at beechenghiang.com.sg, and the flagship is Minced Pork Bakkwa at $18.80 for 320g (U.P. $23.68, 20.6% off) or $56 for a full kilo (U.P. $74, save $18 — more than 24% off). The deepest cuts are on the snack shelf: Mala Crispy Pulled Pork Twist 200g falls from $28 to $10.92 and the new Mala Golden Crisps 260g from $17 to $6.63, both exactly 61% off. Two mix-and-match tiers do the heavy lifting for gifting — any 2 vacuum-packed 480g bakkwa at 36.1% off (Sliced Pork $47, Chilli Pork $49, Sliced Chicken $47, Sliced Beef $52) and any 2 canned floss at 36.1% off — while Bakkwa Layer 90g is $6.10 off at $16.70 and both durian cakes are 15% off. On top of that sit eight separate vouchers you must collect on the site before you check out, valid 31 July to 10 August: $6.10 off each of the 280g sliced pork, chicken, beef and chilli pork boxes (up to 3 each), pineapple tarts at $16.10 a tin, $6.10 off Prawn Roll King, and 16.1% off 1kg bakkwa. Spend $88 and a 100g Bakkwa Bites (worth $6.50) comes free; spend $108 and you add Seaweed Golden Crisps 260g, for $23.50 of freebies. Here's every price, what the mix-and-match maths actually works out to, and the two catches.

Sheng Siong's National Day Catalogue: Nine Things Priced at $6.10, a $61 Purchase-With-Purchase That Takes CDC Vouchers & a $6.10 Coke Carton (31 Jul – 10 Aug 2026)
Sheng Siong's National Day newspaper ad went up today and it is built around two numbers: $6.10 and $61. Nine separate items in the catalogue are priced at exactly $6.10 — a 24-can carton of Coca-Cola Less Sugar (U.P. $21.15, 71% off), three packs of Breeze Gold bathroom tissue, three Dettol hand washes, a 630–680ml Dove shampoo, six cans of Fancy Feast — and on top of that sits a purchase-with-purchase ladder where every $61 you spend unlocks one set of a rotating special, with CDC Supermarket Vouchers explicitly counting towards the $61. Only the first window's PWP items (31 Jul – 1 Aug) are printed; the other four windows are being released on Sheng Siong's Facebook page. The catalogue runs 31 July to 10 August 2026, the fresh-produce page only runs to 6 August, and everything is capped at 3 products per customer per transaction.

Giordano SG61 National Day Deals — FREE T-Shirt Above $61, Buy 2 Get 40% Off the NDP Range & 30% Off the Disney Mickey 'I LOVE SG' Tees
Giordano Singapore has stacked three National Day offers on its own store at once, and they run together: a FREE T-shirt with any purchase over $61 (you add it to your cart yourself, limit 1 per order, while stocks last); Buy 2 Get 40% Off across its National Day 2026 (SG61) range — 16 pieces in all, 7 men's, 4 women's and 5 junior's; and Buy 2 Get 30% Off across the NDP 2026 with Disney's Mickey Mouse collection, another 16 pieces built around the 'I LOVE SG' graphics. Both multi-buy discounts auto-apply at checkout, and delivery is free above $59. The prices to work from, all listed on Giordano's own store: NDP 2026 crew-neck printed tees at $39 (men, women and junior), NDP 2026 embroidery and jacquard polos at $63 (junior $59, men's zip polo $66), and the Disney Mickey 'I LOVE SG' graphic tees at $49. Two NDP tees at $39 come to $78, and 40% off drops that to $46.80 — $23.40 a tee. Which is exactly where the trap is: $46.80 is BELOW the $61 free-T-shirt threshold, so the two offers can cancel each other out if you don't watch the cart total. Giordano publishes no end date on any of it — 'while stocks last' is the only limit printed.

Sheng Siong's 7th Month Catalogue Is Live: 8 Hampers From $13.80, Joss-Paper Sets From $3.80, $21.90 Roast Chicken & Free Delivery Above $500 (24 Jul – 10 Sep 2026)
Sheng Siong has published its full 7th Month catalogue — 中元普度大拜拜 — and it runs 24 July to 10 September 2026, ending on the exact last day of the lunar seventh month. It is the one festive catalogue in Singapore that prints real prices rather than 'ask in store', so here is what is actually in it: eight value hampers on a clean ladder at $13.80, $19.80, $26.80, $29.80, $33.80, $39.80, $49.80 and $59.80, each bundling 10–15 pantry staples inside a reusable carrier (the top two tiers include a 4-wheel TSA-lock luggage case and a foldable 4-wheel trolley that the same catalogue sells alone at $39.90 and $29.90); itemised 拜7月 prayer sets at $98, $198, $298 and $398; nine joss-paper sets from $3.80 to $118; roast chicken at $21.90 each, roast or braised duck at $28.20, roast pork and char siew at $28.80/kg, a 4–5kg golden piglet at $228; and huat kueh from $1.30 for 220g up to $68 for 5.5kg. Spend $500 and you pick a free gift (Guinness or a 10kg bag of rice), rising to a Martell VSOP or an 11-litre air fryer at $3,000 — and a single $500 package order gets free delivery. The catch nobody prints: none of it stacks with Sheng Siong's standing 4% senior-citizen or CHAS card discounts, and roast meats need five days' notice.

7 Best 1-for-1 Buffet Deals in Singapore (September 2026): Halal, Hotel and Peranakan Buffets From ~$28++/pax
September resets the buffet board. National Day pricing is gone, two of August's headline deals ended with the month, and one of them came back as something weaker. We re-checked all seven 1-for-1 buffets on this page against each venue's own menu and terms on 1 September 2026, with the real menu price, what two diners actually pay each, the card you need and the exact end date. Cheapest is still Plate at Carlton City Hotel, whose Sunday Ah Ma Porridge buffet works out at roughly $28++ a head; Sun's Café's Peranakan spread is about $30++ and now has a confirmed run to 31 December 2026. Two need no credit card at all: Permata's halal buffet at Gedung Kuning, which restarted on 1 September with a new East Coast menu, and The Landmark at Village Hotel Bugis. The one clock worth watching is Holiday Inn Atrium's 'Nyonya Meets The World', which closes on 9 September.

8 Best Halal Catering Services in Singapore (2026): MUIS-Verified Buffet, Bento, Corporate and Wedding Catering, With the Minimum Pax Behind Every Price
We re-checked all 8 caterers against MUIS's own halal register on 7 September 2026, and every one is still certified, certificate numbers included. The bigger finding is that the prices everyone quotes are mostly unreachable. At Elsie's Kitchen the famous $5 Value Bento needs 100 pax, not the small group it gets recommended to. Neo Garden's $15.99 buffet needs 40 pax and is not sold on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays or public holidays. Its $6 high tea needs 100. Chilli Api's $13.70 buffet is gone: its cheapest full buffet is now $16.80/pax ($18.31 with GST) on 30 pax, which leaves Elsie's Nostalgic Taste at $13.90 as the cheapest full buffet here, and that one needs 50 pax. The cheapest published meal boxes are Stamford and Neo Garden at $4.50 a set, both on a 50-pax minimum. The minimums are not always walls either: Neo Garden takes 20 guests on its $21.99 and $24.99 menus for a $3/pax surcharge. Every price below is listed with the headcount it actually requires.

Lunar 7th Month 2026 Singapore: Dates (13 Aug–10 Sep) and Where to Order Offerings, Fruit Towers & Catering
The 7th Lunar Month, the Hungry Ghost Festival (中元节), runs from 13 August to 10 September 2026, with Zhong Yuan Jie on 27 August. It is the season when many Singaporean families make offerings and hold gatherings. If you would rather order than cook, here is where to get everything from a complete ready-to-pray offering set to a buffet for the whole family. We re-checked every caterer's own ordering system on 1 September 2026 and compared prices and minimum pax: Neo Garden leads with Lucky Sets, fruit towers, buffets and dry-ration hampers (with a halal menu); Select Catering is the cheapest buffet at $14.50++/pax; RichFood adds roast-meat platters and runs latest, to 11 September; and JCatering is the cheapest way to feed exactly 10, because FattyDaddyFattyMummy's 10-pax menu is the $19.79 Mini Buffet B, not the $18.99 one. Three conditions the round-ups miss: Neo Garden will not deliver offering sets below a $350, four-item order, its bento sets need a minimum of 20, and with lead times of 3 to 7 working days the practical cut-off for praying on the last day is the first week of September. FoodLine lets you compare hundreds of caterers in one place.

Luckin Coffee x MILO Is Live: Tiramisu Latte & Cocoa-Malt Frappe Made With MILO, Plus a $15.90 'Extra Shiok Set' With a Free Mini Backpack Lanyard
Luckin Coffee Singapore has put MILO in a coffee cup for National Day. From 27 July 2026, two limited-time drinks are on the menu at participating outlets: the Tiramisu Latte made with MILO — espresso and cocoa layered with whipped cheese foam, sea salt and Parmesan, then finished with the malty MILO hit (Nutri-Grade C, 4% sugar) — and the Cocoa-Malt Frappe made with MILO, a blended iced number dusted with MILO powder (Nutri-Grade C, 8% sugar). The offer attached to them is the one worth planning around: the Extra Shiok Set at $15.90 gets you two selected beverages plus an exclusive Mini Backpack Pouch Phone Lanyard, ordered through the luckin coffee app, while stocks last. Luckin's own poster also shows the 'Shiok Together' campaign packaging — a 'Luck in Singapore' carrier bag and sticker set. Two honest caveats before you go: Luckin has not published a la carte prices for either MILO drink or an end date for the campaign, and its own artwork says availability may vary by store, so check the app for your outlet before you make the trip.

10 Best Peranakan (Nyonya) Restaurants in Singapore 2026: Two Michelin Stars, Two Bib Gourmands, and What Ayam Buah Keluak Costs at Every One
Peranakan (Nyonya) cooking is the oldest answer to the question of what Singapore actually tastes like: Chinese ingredients worked through a Malay and Indonesian spice base until the result belonged to neither and to here. For this September 2026 audit we re-read every restaurant's own menu rather than the roundups, and two things everyone repeats turned out to be wrong. Candlenut is no longer the world's only Michelin-starred Peranakan restaurant: chef Malcolm Lee's second kitchen, Pangium at the Botanic Gardens, also holds One MICHELIN Star in the 2026 Guide, and COMO's own site now calls Candlenut the world's first rather than the only. And Baba Chews' famous $15++ Peranakan set lunch is gone, absent from its promotions page and from all nine promotions it currently publishes. So we priced the category properly instead. The benchmark dish, ayam buah keluak, runs from $18.00 at PeraMakan to $48++ at Candlenut, and the ranking is not the one you would guess: Violet Oon's $28++ undercuts both Bib Gourmand holders. We also flag the charges the menu price hides, including The Blue Ginger's compulsory $3.00 per head for rice, pickles and sambal belachan, and True Blue's chargeable table savouries. Permata's 1-for-1 halal buffet rolled into its new East Coast edition on 1 September and runs to 31 October at unchanged prices, though the Peranakan dishes left with the old menu. Pangium has also put a price on the shorter Tok Panjang Kecil lunch our August check could not find: S$138++.

The Warehouse Hotel's National Day Menus — 4 Heritage Cocktails (From $24) & Reimagined Local Classics at Po, 1–10 August 2026
For SG61, The Warehouse Hotel is leaning into its own history — the triple-span riverside building was once a godown, distillery and haunt of secret societies. From 1 to 10 August 2026, Lobby Bar pours four limited-edition cocktails, each named for a figure from Singapore's past: The Samsui Woman, The Coolie, The Hawker and The Gambler ($24++ each). Finish all four across your visits and you get a limited-edition Warehouse Hotel × Bicycle playing-card deck, while stocks last. Over at Po Restaurant, four National Day specials reimagine local flavours with modern technique — Po's Satay ($18++), Kari Ayam Kapitan ($28++), River Prawn Hokkien Mee ($28++) and Apom Berkuah with Mao Shan Wang coconut gravy ($14++). It's at 320 Havelock Road, and this is a limited 10-day run.

foodpanda's SG61 'Make Life Delicious' Deals — $8 Off With Code LOBANG, 61¢ Nostalgic Snacks & Up to 50% Off Groceries (27 July–16 August 2026)
foodpanda is running a nostalgic National Day campaign from 27 July to 16 August 2026, and there is a lot in it. Food delivery gets $8 off for existing users and $12 off for new users with the promo code LOBANG (minimum spend applies), on the likes of Burger King, Jollibee, Nando's, Pizza Hut, KOI and Qi Ji. On pandamart from 3 August, more than 61 nostalgic childhood snacks go on sale, with six specific favourites — including Myojo bowl noodles, Super Ring and BoBo chicken sausage — dropping to just $0.61 each. Cold Storage and Giant run a different 20%-off grocery category each week plus a $10 code (FPCSS10). This guide breaks down every part, the exact codes, the six 61-cent snacks and the dates.

Best and Cheapest IPL Singapore 2026: Real Laser Hair Removal Prices at 7 Salons, From a S$88 Course to S$399 for Life
Hair removal is one of the few beauty categories in Singapore where the advertised price and the price you actually pay differ by a factor of five. The trial rate is real, but it applies once, to one body part, to first-timers only, and the maintenance price afterwards is what decides whether the whole thing was worth it. So we did the boring part: we read the price lists on all seven chains' own websites, re-checked every one on 7 September 2026, pulled Strip's and Musee's live product catalogues straight off their stores, and cross-checked every outlet against each brand's own store locator. Nothing moved on price this time: every figure below re-verified unchanged, including Wellaholic's flat S$55 small-area session, its Lifetime Maintain Mode that drops you to S$49 a session for good after 12 sessions on one area, and its S$399 one-off lifetime unlimited underarms, still the cheapest way in Singapore to stop paying for underarm hair removal altogether. Three things around the prices did move. Only Aesthetics' Wheelock Place branch page, which returned a 404 in August, loads again, and the branch is listed with hours and a phone number, though the separate outlets finder still leaves it out. Strip's "up to 30% off" turns out to be a badge on individual AFT product cards rather than a site-wide sale, and the multi-session discount behind it is still a flat 15 percent. And MODE has added LUCENT BEAM, a second hair-removal line it publishes no price for, which makes two of the seven now running an uncostable option alongside the one you can actually price. On price: MODE Aesthetics still sells the cheapest full course at S$88 plus 9 percent GST for 12 underarm sessions, about S$8 a visit. Strip still has the cheapest honest single try at S$35 for an AFT lip trial. Musee still runs the loudest discount at S$50 for six body parts, though we can now tell you the voucher expires in 30 days. And the cheapest hair-removal service of any kind here is not a wax at all: Sugar(ed) sugars hands, feet or nostrils for S$10. Here is every price, every outlet, and the fine print that decides which one is actually cheap for you.

Cold Storage & CS Fresh: S$7 Off Every Weekend With DBS Visa Debit or POSB Everyday Card — Min. $80 Spend, 10 Stores, 25 Jul–18 Oct 2026
A quiet, no-voucher grocery discount that runs for three months: Cold Storage is giving S$7 off a minimum S$80 spend every weekend from 25 July to 18 October 2026, as long as you pay with a DBS Visa Debit Card or a POSB Everyday Card. There is no code to key in, no coupon to clip and no app to open — you just hit the $80 basket and tap the right card at the till. It covers 13 weekends in total, including the SG61 National Day long weekend on 8–9 August. The two catches are worth knowing before you plan a trip: it is limited to 10 participating Cold Storage and CS Fresh stores — Bugis Junction, i12 Katong, Novena Square, One Holland Village, Paragon, Raffles City, Suntec City, Takashimaya, Tanglin Mall and United Square, all of them central-belt stores rather than heartland ones — and Cold Storage states that redemptions are limited, so the daily allocation at a given store can run out. At $80, the $7 works out to 8.75% off, which is a meaningful margin on a weekly grocery run at a premium supermarket. Here is the full mechanic, the store list, and how it stacks against the other DBS/POSB grocery deals running right now.

Changi Airport 2xGST Is Back for SG61 — 9% + 9% Off in T1–T4 Public Areas, 9 Days Only (24–26 Jul, 31 Jul–2 Aug, 7–9 Aug 2026)
You don't need a boarding pass for this one. Changi Airport is running its SG61 National Day 2xGST promotion over three long weekends — 24–26 July, 31 July–2 August and 7–9 August 2026 — giving Changi Rewards members 9% + 9% off with a minimum nett spend of S$30 on a single receipt at participating outlets in the PUBLIC areas of Terminals 1, 2, 3 and 4. That's the usual Changi Rewards GST absorption plus a matching 9% on top: close to S$18 back on a S$100 buy, at names like Eu Yan Sang, Bee Cheng Hiang, GODIVA, Guardian, WH Smith, The Cocoa Trees, Tech House and Cosmetics & Perfumes By Shilla. Pay with Mastercard through Changi Pay and you can stack a S$5 e-voucher (S$60 spend) or S$12 e-voucher (S$100 spend) on top. Membership is free, and Jewel is NOT included — here are the exact dates, outlets and fine print.

GODIVA 1-for-1 Chocolate Twist Soft Serve — Buy 1 Get 1 FREE This Weekend Only (25–26 Jul 2026, Two Windows a Day)
Premium chocolate soft serve, two for the price of one — but only this weekend and only in two short windows a day. GODIVA Singapore is running its annual 1-for-1 on the Chocolate Twist Soft Serve on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 July 2026: buy one cone and get a second identical one free. The catch is the timing — it's redeemable only from 11am–1pm and again 5pm–7pm each day, on a first-come-first-served basis while stocks last, walk-in only. It applies to the Core Chocolate Twist Soft Serve WITHOUT Chocolate Shavings (the only flavour available during the promo), you can buy up to 3 sets per receipt, and it can't be stacked with other promotions or member/VIP discounts. Five GODIVA boutiques are taking part — Takashimaya B2 Food Department, Suntec City #02-307, Raffles City #B1-K1, Bugis Junction #01-60 and Jewel Changi Airport #02-207 (Changi Airport Terminal 3 and online are excluded). Turn up in one of the two windows to halve the price of a GODIVA soft serve fix.

Museum of Ice Cream Singapore: Singapore Residents 61 & Above Get Free Admission With Every Full-Priced Ticket, 7–11 August 2026 (Plus a Berempah Bros × Denzy Gelato Scoop of the Month)
For Singapore's 61st National Day, Museum of Ice Cream Singapore is giving Singapore residents aged 61 and above complimentary admission with every full-priced ticket purchased, from 7 to 11 August 2026. To be clear on how it works: this is a seniors offer tied to a paid ticket — for each full-priced ticket you buy, one Singapore resident aged 61 or above gets in free, so it is the perfect window to bring your parents or grandparents along. Separately, throughout August, the museum's Scoop of the Month programme teams up with local chef Derek Cheong's Berempah Bros and Denzy Gelato on two limited-edition ice cream creations. Tickets and the senior offer are on tickets.museumoficecream.sg.

itea Is Selling Drinks for S$0.61 — 6,100 Secret-Code Vouchers Drop Daily From 1–9 August, Plus a New Merlion Berry Series
itea is the Principal Partner and Official Tea Beverage Brand of NDP 2026, and it is marking SG61 by releasing 7,000 vouchers that bring an SG61 Strawberry Series drink down to S$0.61. The catch is that you have to guess a secret code on the itea app, and the vouchers go first-come-first-served. Three drops have already been and gone (200 on 11 July, 300 on 18 July, 400 on 25 July) — but they were the warm-up. The real one runs 1 to 9 August, daily from 10.00am to 11.01am, with 6,100 vouchers, which is 87% of the entire campaign. Miss the first three drops and you still get a S$0.61 discount voucher with no minimum spend, valid on anything except ice cream. The new Merlion Berry line-up: Merlion Berry Green Tea, Merlion Berry Frost and Merlion Berry Shiok, alongside limited-edition SG61 merch.

9 Best Bakery Chains in Singapore (2026): Which Are Halal, Délifrance's $6 Pie Tuesdays, and the Mid-Autumn Deals Now On at BreadTalk and PrimaDéli
Bread is the cheapest good meal in Singapore if you buy it on the right day. We've rounded up the 9 best bakery chains for 2026, each with its CURRENT verified promo, outlet count, price range and MUIS halal status, answered brand by brand: is BreadTalk halal, is Four Leaves halal, is Duke Bakery halal? (No, no and not certified. We checked all nine against the government HalalSG register on 29 August 2026 and four came back certified.) Delifrance runs $6 Pie Tuesdays at every outlet until 29 December 2026 (U.P. $8.50-$8.90). Two deals end within days: BreadTalk's 15% off 4-piece Thye Moh Chan mooncake sets on 14 September, and Delifrance's own Beef Rendang Pie and Milo Frappe on 15 September. PrimaDeli has swapped in a September Cake of the Month, the Peach & Longan Delight at $28.80 instead of $36 until 30 September, and its Mid-Autumn range is 20% off online from $44.80. Polar's mooncake discount has narrowed to 15% for Polaris+ members only, until 27 September. Plus Tiong Bahru Bakery's free croissant with any 3 viennoiseries, Paris Baguette's buy-4-get-the-5th-free (and where it does not run), Swee Heng's 79 certified outlets, and the Four Leaves outlet that shut for renovation on 5 September.

Din Tai Fung's Chilli Crab Xiao Long Bao Is Back — 'Singapore's Favourite Catch', $11.80 for 4pcs + a Free Bao Zai Plush Keyring (Till 31 Aug 2026)
Din Tai Fung has brought back its most local dumpling for National Day: the Steamed Chilli Crab & Pork Xiao Long Bao, headlining a 'Singapore's Favourite Catch' campaign that runs 1 July to 31 August 2026 at all its outlets islandwide. Each xiao long bao is filled with succulent crab meat, juicy pork and a flavourful chilli crab broth that bursts with every bite — and at 40% larger than DTF's signature Steamed Pork Xiao Long Bao, it's a proper mouthful of Singapore's favourite crab dish done the Din Tai Fung way. Four pieces are $11.80 (before 9% GST and 10% service charge, so roughly $14 nett). There are two extras worth knowing: spend a minimum of $80 (before GST and service) in a single bill that includes the Chilli Crab XLB and you get a complimentary Singapore-exclusive Bao Zai plush keyring, while redemptions last; and OCBC credit/debit cardmembers get an extra 10% off the Chilli Crab XLB, dine-in only, while servings last. It's a limited-time National Day drop, not a permanent menu item — here till 31 August, then gone.

Sheng Siong CDC Voucher Week — 12 Items Up To 68% Off For Every $20 of CDC Vouchers Spent (21–27 Jul 2026)
Sheng Siong has flipped over to a new CDC Voucher week, running 21 to 27 July 2026, and this round is one of the better ones: 12 featured products at cut prices, with the biggest markdowns on the cupboard-and-cleaning staples rather than the token loss leaders. Happy Family Premium Oyster Sauce 550g drops to $1.25 from $3.95 (68% off), Homeniks 6-in-1 Laundry Capsules 80s to $8.95 from $26.90 (66% off), and a 6-pack of F&N Sparkling Zero to $1.95 from $5.60 (65% off). Heritage Farm Classic Basmati Rice 5kg is $9.65 down from $18.50, Dynamo Laundry Detergent 2.5kg is $8.65 from $18.90, and Happy Family Canola Oil 3L is $8.95 from $13.90. Sheng Siong's own poster puts total savings at up to $70.18, an average 43% off. The mechanic is the part people get wrong: for every $20 worth of CDC Supermarket Vouchers you spend in a single transaction, you unlock one unit of each featured product at the special price — so it is the voucher spend, not your cash spend, that opens the prices, and it is one unit each, not unlimited. Ends Monday 27 July, while stocks last.

7 Best KTV & Karaoke Places in Singapore 2026: Full Price Lists, Including Teo Heng's Rates by Outlet
Karaoke in Singapore splits into two completely different price models, and knowing which one you are in front of is the whole game. Teo Heng charges by the room per hour, so you split one price and a big group gets cheap fast. Candy K-Bar, Cash Studio, HaveFun, Jewel Music Box and Party World charge by the head in blocks, usually with drinks thrown in. We lined up 7 of the island's best-known KTV chains and put the real numbers side by side, taken from each brand's own price list. The headline everyone repeats needs a correction: Teo Heng's $8/hour promo room runs at White Sands and Bukit Timah CC only, while the other 12 outlets charge $13/hour for the same small room, so we have published the rate at all 14. The cheapest per-head rate on the island is Candy K-Bar's $4.90++ an hour before 6.30pm on Mondays to Thursdays; Cash Studio does 2 hours from $8.80++ with free-flow soft drinks; HaveFun is $5++ a head an hour island-wide on a weekday check-in before 5.30pm, min 2 pax and 2 hours, till 30 Nov 2026; K.STAR runs $9.90++ two-hour weekday promos at PLQ and Leisure Park Kallang; and Party World is charged per person, not per room, from $16++ ($19 nett) for 2 hours. Here's who's cheapest for two people, who's cheapest for ten, which ones let you bring your own food, and which one is still open at 6am.

Auntie Anne's Is Selling 61-Cent Pretzels on 9 August 2026 — First 100 Per Outlet, Plus New Milo Dinosaur & Horlicks Pretzels From 27 July
Auntie Anne's Singapore is marking SG61 with the cheapest pretzel you will see all year: the signature Cinnamon Sugar Pretzel at $0.61 instead of $3.90 on National Day itself, Sunday 9 August 2026, from 12pm. It is capped at the first 100 customers per outlet with one redemption per person, so roughly 1,200 pretzels islandwide across the 12 stores — turn up before noon or don't bother. Running alongside it, and far easier to actually get, are two brand-new local flavours on sale from 27 July to 31 August: the Milo Dinosaur Pretzel ($4.50), coated in white chocolate and buried under Milo powder, and the Horlicks Pretzel ($4.20), a maltier, creamier take on the same buttery dough. Both are available at all outlets, on delivery platforms, and online for corporate and bulk orders. Every Auntie Anne's outlet in Singapore is MUIS halal certified.

Eat Pizza Is Now Halal Certified (All 8 Outlets) — $2.99 Korean Pizzas on 25 July, Then 50% Off Your 2nd Pizza, 28–31 July 2026
The Korean pizza chain with the 25cm long-slice boxes has just gone MUIS halal certified across all 8 of its Singapore outlets, and it's marking it with two short, sharp promotions. FRIDAY 25 JULY: the first 100 pizzas at PLQ Mall, 313@somerset and AMK Hub go for $2.99 each — choose Korean Spicy Chicken (U.P. $7.90) or Korean Chicken Hawaiian (U.P. $6.50), max 2 per customer, queue tickets from 2.50pm and the counter opens at 3pm. THEN 28–31 JULY: the first 50 customers a day at every outlet except Temasek Polytechnic get 50% off their second pizza, with the discount applied to the cheaper of the two, one redemption per customer. Neither is stackable with other discounts, vouchers, membership privileges or delivery orders — these are walk-in, in-store deals only. The halal certification itself is the bigger news: Eat Pizza's menu already ran on turkey bacon and beef pepperoni rather than pork, and the whole 13-flavour range is now open to Muslim diners at AMK Hub, 313@somerset, Plaza Singapura, VivoCity, PLQ Mall, Grantral Mall @ Macpherson, IMM and Temasek Polytechnic.

15% Off at Chui Huay Lim & Zui Yu Xuan — Bring Your Grandparents (or a 'Dear You' Movie Ticket) for a Teochew Feast, Weekdays Till 28 Aug 2026
Two of Singapore's best-known Teochew restaurants have a promotion with an unusually sweet condition: Chui Huay Lim Teochew Cuisine and Zui Yu Xuan Teochew Cuisine are giving 15% off the food bill when you dine with your grandparents — or present a ticket to the Teochew-dialect film 《给阿嬷的情书 Dear You》. The campaign is called 《给阿公阿嬷的邀请函》 ("Dear Ah Gong Ah Ma") and it runs Mondays to Fridays, dine-in only, from 6 July to 28 August 2026 at both outlets. No app, no code, no voucher — just turn up with the elders. The catch: the 15% applies to food only and excludes beverages, service charge and GST; it's not valid on public holidays or their eves; and it can't be stacked with set menus, vouchers or membership privileges. On a $200 food bill that's about $36 off the final total. Both restaurants are under JUMBO Group's Zui Teochew Cuisine arm — old-school cold crab, pig trotter terrine and oyster omelette territory — so book ahead.

Sheng Siong Mid-Year Mega Promotion 2026 — $2.5M Giveaway, PWP Olive Oil 2L at $10.50 (47% Off) & Bamboo Tissues $5.50 (Till 30 Jul)
Sheng Siong's biggest sale of the first half is running right now: The Sheng Siong Mid-Year Mega Promotion 2026, a $2,500,000 giveaway, is live from 10 to 30 July 2026 across all outlets. The headline is the Purchase-with-Purchase rack — every $20 you spend unlocks the right to buy Heritage Farm Sunflower & Extra Virgin Olive Oil 2L at $10.50 a bottle (U.P. $19.90, 47% off) and the newly-landed Softess 100% Bamboo Pulp Bathroom Tissues (3-ply, 10 rolls x 220 sheets) at $5.50 a bundle (U.P. $8.90, 38% off), both capped at 3 per customer per transaction. Beyond the PWP, the flyer prices staples hard: Kangaroo Premium Calrose Rice 5kg at $11.50, Golden Circle Groundnut Oil 2L at $9.90, a 24-can carton of Coke Less Sugar at $13.35, Nestum 3-in-1 at $4.60 and Homesoy 1L at $2.40. Every receipt also enters you into the games on The Sheng Siong Show (Saturdays, 9pm, Channel 8). Note the Ferrero PWP and the fruit-and-veg sheet were 10–16 July only and have already lapsed — here's what's still live, and the fine print that trips people up.

5 Best Thai Restaurants in Singapore 2026: Best Thai Food, Buffets From $19.90++ and Live 1-for-1 Deals
Singapore's Thai food scene runs from $11.90++ weekday set lunches to white-tablecloth Bangkok cooking, and several of the big names have promotions you can verify on their own websites. We re-checked all five on 8 September 2026. Bangkok Jam and Siam Kitchen both run OCBC 1-for-1 on selected rice and noodle mains till 30 September. Three of the five do a Thai buffet: Bangkok Jam's 19-dish spread at $19.90++, Suki-Suki's halal steamboat (where picking Mala takes 20% off the second diner), and Sarai's weekend a la carte lunch, which is $39++ a head at walk-up rates but $30++ on the standing 2-for-$60++ deal. New for the September school holidays: free waffles for kids at Bangkok Jam, $1.88++ wagyu at Suki-Suki (open to regular buffet diners too, not only premium) and a spicy Kaprao challenge at Siam Kitchen that needs a $50++ minimum spend. Bangkok Jam and Sarai both run BYOB with the first bottle corkage-free per two diners till 31 October. Two corrections this round: the Suki-Suki wagyu is open to regular buffet diners, not premium only, and the Kaprao challenge carries a $50++ minimum spend nobody prints. Suki-Suki also lets the birthday diner eat free for their whole birthday month. Outlet counts re-confirmed: Siam Kitchen two (HomeTeamNS Khatib and SAFRA Toa Payoh), Bangkok Jam one, at Great World. Three of the five are halal-certified, and most of these deals are weekday, dine-in only, so check the fine print before you go.

SG61 National Day Food Deals 2026: What Is Still Live in September, and What Ended on 31 August (Swensen's $18.61 Laksa Pizza, Springleaf Smash Burger, Pizza Maru Salted Egg)
Singapore turned 61 on 9 August 2026, and the SG61 food campaign has now largely wound down. We re-checked all 7 of our SG61 National Day food specials on 2 September against each brand's own site or live ordering menu. Only one is still claimable: Swensen's SG61 menu, with the Singapore Laksa Pizza and Jumbo Blue Prawn Hokkien Mee at $18.61 each and a $61 Family Set for three, running to 9 September 2026. Five ended on 31 August: Springleaf Prata Place's $8.90 Prata Smash Burger with a free hot teh tarik, Pizza Maru's Chilli Crab and Salted Egg New Menu Special, the $61-spend freebies at Tonkatsu ENbiton and Tamago-EN, and Dian Xiao Er's three new dishes with the MerDuck keychain. Guzman y Gomez's Butter Chicken filling has no announced end date, so it is available-until-withdrawn. Below: what each brand runs now instead, plus the full record of the SG61 offers that have closed, including the $0.61 throwback prata and the Changi T2 cheese-pull challenge.

Lausanjee (老乡鸡) Is Coming to Singapore — China's 1,600-Outlet Chicken-Soup Chain, via a Jumbo Group Joint Venture (No Outlet Open Yet)
That viral photo doing the rounds is real news but not quite the full story: Lausanjee (老乡鸡 / Lao Xiang Ji), China's biggest home-grown Chinese fast-food chain with 1,600-plus outlets, IS coming to Singapore — through a joint venture confirmed on 1 July 2026 between Laoxiangji Holdings (51%) and homegrown Jumbo Group's Jumbo F&B Services (49%). But the storefront photos going around show its Malaysia outlet at IOI City Mall (its first overseas store), not a Singapore one — because as of now, no Singapore outlet has opened, and no location, date, menu or prices have been announced. Here's what's actually confirmed, what Lausanjee is famous for, and what to realistically expect when it lands.

Milkfish 50% Off Grilled Milkfish & Broth Set @ Raffles City — ~$11.30++ a Set, Weekday Afternoons Only (15–31 Jul)
A quiet, comforting afternoon deal in town: Milkfish — the all-natural, no-MSG seafood-soup specialist — has reopened at Raffles City with a refreshed menu, and to mark it, its signature Grilled Milkfish & Broth Set is 50% off from 15–31 July 2026. The set pairs a Grilled Milkfish Belly with a slow-brewed Wild Mushroom & Kombu Broth (U.P. $22.60++), so at half price it's about $11.30++ a set. The catch: it's weekday afternoons only — Monday to Friday, 2pm to 5pm — and you need a minimum order of two sets to unlock the deal, so it's really a two-person (or two-bowl) offer. The grilled milkfish belly now comes in a new Miso flavour alongside the signature Nyonya and Soy Glaze. Prices are before GST and service charge, and it's while the promo runs.

9 Best Matcha Cafés in Singapore 2026: The Best Matcha by Area (Hvala, Matchaya, Tsujiri, Matsu, Kyō & More)
Matcha is having its biggest moment yet in Singapore, and if you want the real, stone-ground, umami-rich stuff (not the sweet powdery kind), these are the best matcha cafés to know in 2026. We rounded up the 9 best matcha cafés in Singapore, each re-verified against its own official channels on 8 September 2026, from whisked-to-order ceremonial-grade specialists to affordable Hokkaido soft serve: Hvala (handcrafted matcha and tea-inspired desserts across four outlets, with the Odeon 333 flagship); Matchaya (the local pioneer since 2015, at Tiong Bahru and Suntec City #02-737); Tsujiri (the Kyoto Uji house dating to 1860, now eight outlets including three Premium tea houses, one of them the only matcha specialist in Holland Village); Matsu Matcha (the CBD kiosk at Guoco Tower stone-milling its own matcha on a Kyoto mill, lattes from $7.90); Kurasu Singapore (a minimalist Kyoto specialty-coffee café at 261 Waterloo Street with an off-menu 'Dirty Matcha'); Nana's Green Tea (the Japanese café chain at Plaza Singapura, DUO Galleria and Guoco Tower doing matcha lattes, parfaits and savoury sets); 108 Matcha Saro (the cheapest soft serve here, and the one that moved: it has left Suntec City and now runs kiosks at ION Orchard, Bugis Junction and Tampines One); Kyō Teahouse (the Cross Street grab-and-go bar pouring JAS organic Okumidori matcha, 9am to 9pm daily); and ECHO @ KADA (ceremonial matcha and a proper seat in a restored 1920s building beside Maxwell Food Centre). Below: what each is best known for, exact outlets, where to find matcha near you by area (Holland Village, Suntec, the CBD, Orchard, Bugis, Chinatown and the heartlands), and how to order a proper matcha latte.

8 Best 1-for-1 Buffet & Dining Deals in Singapore (July 2026): Dim Sum Buffet, Ramen and High Tea, Plus What's Still Live in September
Buy one, get one free is still the fastest way to halve a Singapore dining bill. This was our July 2026 round-up of 8 verified 1-for-1 dining deals, and we re-checked every one again on 3 September 2026. Two are live as you read this. Cafe Mosaic at Carlton Hotel still runs 1-for-1 on its Hong Kong dim sum lunch buffet, but the price is no longer $62++ on weekdays: Carlton flattened it to $68++ daily on 31 August, so two people now pay about $34++ each, and its Thursday-to-Saturday seafood dinner buffet is 1-for-1 too at $138++. The Straits Indulgence high tea at Holiday Inn Orchard was quietly extended past 31 August and now ends on 4 September, and the same hotel opens a brand-new 1-for-1 Crab & Lobster Buffet Dinner on 10 September at S$168++ for two. Three things ended while this page sat still: The Westin's 1-for-1 is over, with the refurbished Seasonal Tastes reopening on 1 September at 50% off the second diner instead; Kiwami's SG61 karaage offer lapsed on 31 August, leaving its $28.80++ all-you-can-eat ramen buffet as the value play; and TungLok's Golden Croaker discount closed on 30 August. For this month's full list, see our August 1-for-1 buffet guide.

Délifrance $6 Pie Tuesdays Are Back — Signature Savoury Pies at $6 Every Tuesday, Now Extended Till 29 Dec 2026
One of Singapore's most wallet-friendly weekday treats just got a long lease of life: Délifrance's $6 Pie Tuesdays are back, and now run every Tuesday until 29 December 2026 at all outlets islandwide. Every Tuesday, the French bakery-café's freshly baked signature savoury pies — think Tuna Mushroom, Chicken Curry, Chicken Bolognese and Chicken Mushroom — are a flat $6 each (a discount off the usual à la carte price), with no membership, app or promo code needed. Just walk into any outlet on a Tuesday and order at the counter, up to 4 promo pies per person, while stocks last. Flavours rotate and vary by outlet, and the popular ones sell out by tea time — so go earlier in the day. Today (14 Jul) is itself a Tuesday, and with the deal locked in for the rest of 2026, it's an easy, reliable lunch or teatime lobang to keep in your back pocket.

Swensen's SG61 National Day Menu: $18.61 Laksa Pizza & Jumbo Blue Prawn Hokkien Mee, Plus a $61 Family Set (9 Jul–9 Sep 2026)
Swensen's is doing National Day its way: from 9 July to 9 September 2026, the family diner rolls out an SG61 menu of six local-inspired dishes, each priced with a cheeky National Day '.61' twist. The headliners are the Singapore Laksa Pizza (an 11-inch pie with shrimp, fish cake, tau pok, egg and laksa leaves on mozzarella) and the Jumbo Blue Prawn Hokkien Mee (wok-fried yellow noodles and bee hoon in a rich seafood broth, loaded with a jumbo blue prawn and char-grilled chicken) — both at $18.61. Rounding out the line-up: the Swensen's Shiok Fish Burger ($16.61), Chili Crab Soup with Mantou ($11.61), a Muah Chee Waffle with Ice Cream ($10.61) and a MILO Bandung ($5). For groups, there's a dine-in-only $61 SG61 Family Set that feeds three. It's available at Swensen's and Earle Swensen's outlets islandwide, for dine-in or takeaway, for a limited time only. Here's the full menu, prices and the fine print.

SG61 National Day Food Deals for Meat Lovers 2026: All 6 Have Ended, and Here Is What Each Restaurant Still Serves (Endless Steaks $39++, Wagyu Buffet $59.90)
Singapore turned 61 on 9 August 2026 and the restaurants went all-in on premium meat. That window has now closed. We re-checked all six brands on 1 September, and every SG61 offer on this list is over, including the three that ran to 31 August: Barossa's $6.10++ add-on, Tonkatsu ENbiton's free truffle fries and Dian Xiao Er's National Day Special menu. Two of the pages are still live and misleading at a glance: Barossa's SG61 page still sits on its promotions list but prints the run as Monday to Wednesday, 1 to 31 August 2026, and Tajimaya's SG61 set is still listed showing a 15 August close. So this guide now does the more useful job. It tells you what each of the six restaurants still serves, at prices read off their own menus and offers pages on 1 September: Barossa's Endless Steaks & Fries lunch buffet at $39++ on Mondays to Wednesdays and $58++ at weekends; Tajimaya's Premium Wagyu Buffet at $59.90 for lunch and $69.90 for dinner, plus $3 on Fridays to Sundays and public holidays; Dian Xiao Er's year-round Early Bird, 20% off on weekday mornings and late afternoons and 30% off at five outlets; Verandah's rooftop semi-buffets from $32++ at lunch and $68++ at dinner; Suki-Ya's $12.90++ Shabu Shabu hotpot lunch set; and Tonkatsu ENbiton's Thick Cut Katsu series. Below: the exact prices, the day-and-time windows, and the catch on each.

Singapore Chinese Orchestra 30% Off ALL SCO30 Tickets — Anniversary Deal, Book By End-Aug 2026
A rare flat discount on a night out at the concert hall: the Singapore Chinese Orchestra (SCO) turns 30 this year and is giving 30% off ALL ticketed SCO30 anniversary productions — no membership, no promo code — with the discount running from the first day of public sale (16 Jun) through the end of August 2026. Because it's tied to the booking window (not the concert date), you can lock in 30% off by 31 Aug even for shows later in the year: the SCO30 Opening Gala (18 Jul), Resonating 30 with Tsung Yeh (15 Aug), Qu Chunquan (29 Aug), A Voyage of Voices: Moonbound (19 Sep), and on to the SCO30 Closing Gala (21 Nov). Tickets are on BookMyShow, concerts are at the SCO Concert Hall (7 Shenton Way). It's a fitting National Day-month treat — Singapore's own national Chinese orchestra, at close to a third off. Here's the full line-up, how the discount works, and the fine print.

Paradise Hotpot 1-for-1 Beef & Seafood Premium Set (U.P. $25.90–$29.90) — Citi Weekday Lunch Deal, Till 31 Jul 2026
Hong Kong-style individual hotpot, effectively half price for two: Paradise Hotpot is running a 1-for-1 on its Beef & Seafood Premium Set (U.P. $25.90–$29.90) — buy one set, get the second free — so two of you split two premium sets for the price of one. It's a Citi Cardmember eVoucher (claimed via the Citi Mobile App), valid weekday daytime only, from morning till 4.30pm, and it excludes the eve of and actual public holidays. The set pairs marbled beef and seafood with your choice of individual pot and broth at Paradise Hotpot outlets (Compass One, VivoCity, Westgate and more). It runs 1–31 July 2026, while stocks last — and any spend at participating Paradise Group restaurants also nets you a $10 return voucher (valid till 31 Dec 2026). Here's the full mechanics, the fine print and how to redeem.

Bangkok Jam $19.90++ All-You-Can-Eat Thai Buffet — 19 Dishes at Great World (Weekday Dinners, 5–8pm)
Thai comfort food, all-you-can-eat, for under $24 nett: to mark its 19th anniversary, Bangkok Jam is running an à la carte Thai buffet at its Great World outlet for $19.90++ per adult (about $23.85 nett after service charge + GST) — 19 signature dishes ordered fresh to your table, not a self-serve steam-tray line. Think Thai/pineapple fried rice, green curry chicken, stir-fried basil minced pork, grilled chicken skewers, clear tom yum seafood soup and mango sticky rice, with as many rounds as you can finish. It runs weekday dinners only (Mon–Fri, 5–8pm — not Saturdays, Sundays or public holidays), needs a minimum of two diners per table, and kids aged 5–10 eat for $15.90++. A +$7++ premium add-on unlocks Steamed Seabass with Chilli & Lime, Black Pepper Beef and Moo Ping. The catch: it's one outlet (Great World, #02-127), the dinner window is tight at 5–8pm, and Bangkok Jam hasn't published an official end date — it's billed as a limited-time anniversary buffet, so treat it as while-it-lasts and confirm before you go.

HECHÁ (Haidilao's Tea Brand) 1-for-1 on 3 New Drinks — Da Hong Pao Bubble Milk Tea 13–14 Jul, then Matcha Latte & Durian Slush
Haidilao's in-house tea brand HECHÁ is rolling out three new drinks this July, each with its own 2-day buy-1-get-1-free window — so there's a fresh 1-for-1 to catch roughly every week. First up: the Da Hong Pao Bubble Milk Tea (premium Da Hong Pao oolong, fresh milk and chewy pearls), which launched 10 July and goes 1-for-1 on 13–14 July. Next is the Light Matcha Latte (launches 17 July, 1-for-1 on 20–21 July), then the MSW Durian Coconut Slush — Musang King durian blended with coconut slush (launches 24 July, 1-for-1 on 27–28 July). The deal runs all day during outlet hours at the five HECHÁ counters inside Haidilao — Plaza Singapura, IMM, 313@somerset, Wisma Atria and Marina Square — for dine-in and self pick-up, no app or membership needed, while stocks last. Here's the full drink-by-drink calendar and the fine print.

DBS/POSB: Up to S$6 Off Eggs & Rice Every Saturday at Sheng Siong & Giant (18 Jul – 29 Aug 2026)
Two of Singapore's cheapest grocery staples just got cheaper — if you pay with the right card. From 18 July to 29 August 2026, DBS and POSB cardholders get S$3 off eggs and S$3 off rice every Saturday at Sheng Siong and Giant, for up to S$6 off a week. There's no minimum spend, it works with any DBS/POSB credit or debit card, and it runs across 129 outlets islandwide. The catch: it's on a 30-egg tray and a 5kg bag of jasmine rice (selected house-brand products only), one redemption per item per person per day, first-come-first-served with about 90,000 redemptions a week while stocks last — and it can't be stacked with CDC vouchers or other promos. Verified against DBS's official press release. Kicks off the bank's S$10 million cost-of-living support push.

Sushiro 'Hokkaido Harvest & Tohoku Treasures' Fair — Double Hokkaido Salmon $4.90, Boss Level Scallop Stack $5.90, King Crab & Salmon Roe Wrap $3.90 (Till 4 Aug 2026)
Japan's No.1 conveyor-belt sushi chain is bringing the north to Singapore: Sushiro has rolled out its limited-time 'Hokkaido Harvest & Tohoku Treasures' fair — a regional line-up sourced from Hokkaido and the Tohoku region (Miyagi, Aomori, Sanriku) — running islandwide from 8 July to 4 August 2026, while stocks last. The headline plates are the Double Hokkaido Salmon ($4.90++) and the towering Boss Level Scallop Stack ($5.90++), both only until 21 July, alongside the King Crab & Matsumaezuke Wrap with Salmon Roe ($3.90++), Hokkaido Aburi Scallop with Butter & Soy Sauce ($2.90++, till 21 Jul), Aburi Shiodare Cod Fish ($2.90++, till 21 Jul) and cheaper finds like Hokkaido Cod Roe & Mayo Gunkan from just $2.30++. It's a special à la carte menu (not a discount or 1-for-1), all prices are ++ so GST and service charge are on top, and the four premium plates run only through 21 July — so the scallop stack and double salmon are the ones to catch first. Verified on Sushiro Singapore's official promotions page.

National Day Food Deals Singapore 2026 (SG61): What's Still Running in September, and the 4 Specials That Ended on 31 August
Singapore turned 61 on Sunday, 9 August 2026, and the SG61 food promotions were written to run through August. Most of them stopped on 31 August. We re-checked every listing in this guide against the brand's own channels on 2 September, and one National Day special is still claimable: Swensen's SG-inspired local menu, with the Singapore Laksa Pizza and Jumbo Blue Prawn Hokkien Mee at $18.61 and a $61 Family Set for three, running till 9 September. Permata's 1-for-1 'Flavours of the Lion City' halal buffet has finished its run and the restaurant is now on a new Flavours of East Coast menu to 31 October. Dian Xiao Er's National Day dishes are off its promotions page, though its standing Early Bird now goes up to 30% off at five outlets. Springleaf's Prata Smash Burger is still on the menu at $8.90, but the free hot teh tarik that came with it ended on 31 August. Below: what is genuinely left, what each brand is running instead, and the exact dates every expired SG61 deal stopped, so you do not turn up for one.

Dim sum and roast-meats fans, here's a proper hotel buffet at hawker-ish money: Café Mosaic at Carlton Hotel is running a 1-for-1 Hong Kong Kitchen Lunch Buffet — U.P. $62++ per adult, so with the 1-for-1 you're paying roughly $31++ a head (about $37 nett once you add the 10% service charge and 9% GST). The deal is open to a broad set of cardmembers — Citibank, DBS/POSB, OCBC or UOB — and runs daily from 12pm to 2.30pm at Level 1. 6 Best Xiao Long Bao in Singapore (2026): Prices, Outlets and Deals at Din Tai Fung, Paradise Dynasty, Crystal Jade, Imperial Treasure, Swee Choon and Jing Hua
Craving soup dumplings? We rounded up the 6 best xiao long bao (XLB) in Singapore for 2026, with the actual 2026 prices off each restaurant's own menu: Paradise Dynasty's Original XLB at $9.30 (6pc) and its world-first 8-flavour steamer at $16.90, Jing Hua Xiao Chi's Neil Road XLB at $10.50 (7pc), and Imperial Treasure's at $16.80 (6pc), plus the benchmark Din Tai Fung, wallet-friendly Crystal Jade La Mian Xiao Long Bao and late-night institution Swee Choon. For each we cover what to order, what it costs, which outlets actually exist and any current verified deal, plus a comparison table and tips on how to eat XLB the right way. Four changes since our last update, all checked on 9 September 2026: Paradise Dynasty is down to six Singapore outlets, because Funan and Pasir Ris Mall have both dropped off its own restaurant locator and neither mall's tenant directory still lists it; Din Tai Fung's list is up to 31 with ION Orchard on it, but JEM is marked temporarily closed for renovation, so 30 are actually trading; the August card deals are done, and Din Tai Fung has replaced them with a complimentary Original Hot & Sour Soup (worth $9.50) on $80 spent for OCBC cardmembers, weekdays, to 31 December; and Paradise Dynasty's 40% off tea-time deal is back on its official promotions list (Paradise Gourmet Rewards members, Monday to Friday 3pm to 5pm, every outlet except Changi Airport T3), which is the single biggest saving on this page. Prices exclude 10% service charge and 9% GST unless marked 'nett'; none of these restaurants is halal-certified.

Craving fresh sushi without the fine-dining bill? We compared the 6 best value sushi chains in Singapore for 2026 plate for plate, starting with the three people always weigh against each other: Sushiro vs Genki vs Sushi Express. On price per plate Sushi Express is the floor at $1.50++ for white plates islandwide, Genki sits just above it at $1.80, and Sushiro costs the most (its four plate tiers run $2.30++, $2.90++, $3.90++ and $4.90++) but serves the best fish of the three. For each we list plate and set prices, what to order, outlets and the exact promo with its end date. Prices exclude 10% service charge and 9% GST unless marked 'nett'; none of these chains is halal-certified.

6 Best Korean BBQ Buffets in Singapore (2026): Seoul Garden, I'm Kim, Captain Kim (Halal) & More
Craving unlimited grilled meats? We compared the 6 best Korean BBQ buffets in Singapore for 2026, across every budget and neighbourhood, with every price re-checked against each restaurant's own menu, booking and promotions pages on 9 September 2026. Three things moved since our August check. I'm Kim's famous early bird is no longer $12.90++: the September rate is $14.90++ at lunch and $21.90++ at dinner, it runs 1 Sep to 31 Oct 2026, and the lunch window has shrunk from a full hour to 11.30am-12pm. Halal Captain Kim's promos have stopped being outlet-specific: all three outlets (Tampines Junction, Junction 10 and Clementi Grantral) now carry the same 4-PLUS-1 to 30 Sep and the same '2 FOR 1' from 7 to 21 Sep, which is really one free seat per two paying, and there is no September early bird at any of them. And Seoul Garden is growing again: a seventh outlet opens at Aperia Mall on 18 September 2026, the Late-Night Buffet from $27.90++ is back with no end date printed, and 2+2 Gentlemen Night runs the four September Thursdays. Also inside: a charcoal joint open till 5am (Don Dae Bak, $34.90 adult, $21.90 child), a 50-item Tanjong Pagar favourite with LA Galbi (Gogi Buffet, $23++ weekday lunch, second branch at Upper Thomson), and a Bukit Timah all-rounder (Maru). Plus full price tables for Seoul Garden, I'm Kim and Captain Kim, a live promo table with end dates, a cheapest-lunch ranking and how-to-save tips. Prices exclude 10% service charge and 9% GST unless marked 'nett', and most buffets cap you at 80 to 120 minutes.

One of the cutest supermarket freebies of the year is still going: spend $18 on The Laughing Cow cheese products in a single receipt at participating FairPrice, Cold Storage, Giant, Sheng Siong or Prime supermarkets and you get a FREE limited-edition The Laughing Cow x Monchhichi tote bag with one randomly-packed collectible keychain inside. There are four keychain designs to collect — three The Laughing Cow-themed and one Singapore-exclusive featuring the Monchhichi twins tucking into a local kaya-toast-and-kopi breakfast with Marina Bay Sands and the Merlion in the background. It's a licensed Bel Group x Sekiguchi collaboration that launched mid-June 2026 and runs while stocks last — quantities are limited and not every outlet carries the gifts, so redeem early. The catch: it's one gift per $18 single receipt on The Laughing Cow products only, the keychain is random (you can't pick your design), and stocks are running down after several weeks — the SG-exclusive Merlion keychain is the one everyone wants.

5 Best Japanese Buffets in Singapore 2026: Prices, Menus and Promotions for Kiseki, Suki-Ya, Tenkaichi and More
All-you-can-eat done the Japanese way: the 5 best Japanese buffets in Singapore for 2026, re-priced against every restaurant's own 2026 menu on 3 September. Kiseki's mega sashimi-sushi-teppanyaki spread on the 8th floor of Orchard Central (lunch $30.90++), and a senior deal nobody writes about, 2 for $75 nett at weekday dinner, which is 37% off and the single best-value seat in this guide. Suki-Ya's shabu-shabu is the cheapest way in at $23.90++ weekday lunch, or $22.90++ all day to 18 September if four of you carry student cards, but its wagyu, Iberico and seafood sit in the $36.90++ Premium tier, not the entry one. Tenkaichi's yakiniku buffet from $29.80++ plus a standing 1-for-1 A5 wagyu; Tajimaya's smokeless premium wagyu grill at $59.90++ lunch; and Shin Minori's 200+ item a la carte omizu buffet from $69.90++, with a weekday-only $39.90++ high tea that costs $46.90++ at weekends. Full child rates, session limits, weekend surcharges and food-waste charges for all five, including the $30 per 100g one, plus the honest answer on 1-for-1 Japanese buffets and halal options.

Available islandwide including Drive-Thru and delivery, while stocks last. Media reports put the burgers at from $9.20 (chicken) and from $9.50 (rendang beef); McDonald's hasn't published a full official price list, so confirm prices at launch.

7 Best Artisan Ice Cream & Gelato Shops in Singapore (2026): Prices, Outlets and Which Ones Are Halal
We scooped through Singapore's homegrown ice cream and gelato scene to rank the 7 best artisan parlours for 2026, with the scoop prices, outlets and halal status each brand actually publishes. Birds of Paradise leads on invention (botanical gelato at ~S$6.50 across 7 boutiques), Momolato is the only halal-certified shop here, and Creamier is the cheapest sit-down scoop at about S$4.20. Re-verified on each brand's own site on 8 September 2026, and the big change is Creamier: it is down to two scoop shops, Toa Payoh and Tiong Bahru, after the Punggol Northshore cafe closed on 31 August 2026 and Margaret Market dropped off its official list. Island Creamery has been tubs-only since its King's Arcade flagship closed (S$11, or three for S$30, with Chendol, Pulut Hitam and Mao Shan Wang all still sold out on the day we checked), and Kind Kones is down to three outlets after Paragon and Great World shut. Momolato's own site now names only its 723 North Bridge Road cafe, so confirm before travelling to its other addresses.

Tai Sun Turns 60 — New Creamier Ice Cream (Salted Vanilla Almonds & Peanut Toffee) + FREE Blind-Box Pouch With $8 Nuts (Till 31 Aug 2026)
Homegrown snack brand Tai Sun is marking its 60th anniversary with a sweet crossover: it has teamed up with beloved local ice cream maker Creamier on two limited-edition scoop flavours inspired by Tai Sun's iconic nuts — Salted Vanilla Almonds and Peanut Toffee — available at all Creamier outlets from 27 July 2026 onwards. On top of that, spend a minimum of $8 on participating Tai Sun nuts products at major supermarkets (FairPrice and others) and you get a FREE mini-pouch blind box, in one of four collectible designs, while stocks last. It's a low-effort win: your usual bag of almonds or roasted peanuts now comes with a surprise pouch, and there's a nut-flavoured ice cream to chase down at Creamier if you want to make an occasion of it. The collaboration runs till 31 August 2026 — here's exactly how each part works, where to go, and the fine print to check before you shop.

Ice cream for (almost) free: Swensen's Unlimited has opened Sundae Club at its Geneo outlet — a self-serve, build-your-own ice cream bar where you scoop from 48 ice cream and gelato flavours (Vanilla, Cookies & Cream, even Mao Shan Wang Durian with Sea Salt Gula Melaka), pile on 50+ toppings, then weigh and pay just $0.038 per gram (incl. GST). To celebrate the launch, your first 100g is FREE with a minimum 100g purchase — for the entire month of July 2026. That effectively halves a 200g cup, taking it from ~$7.60 down to ~$3.80. 8 Best Korean Fried Chicken in Singapore (2026): Halal Picks, 4Fingers, Chir Chir, BHC & More
Double-fried, shatteringly crispy and drenched in soy-garlic or sweet-spicy yangnyeom, Korean fried chicken (KFC, the good kind) is Singapore's forever craving. Three of our 8 picks are MUIS-halal (4Fingers, NeNe, Jinjja) and five are not, BHC included. Inside: 4Fingers' cult wings, Chir Chir's K-drama platters, Chicken Up's late-night feasts, Korea's No.1 BHC and its Bburinkle, halal NeNe and Jinjja, the less-greasy Oven & Fried Chicken, and Yishun's top-rated ICG, with every outlet list re-checked against the MUIS register in August 2026.

NDP 2026 Fireworks & Rehearsal Schedule — Every Show Saturday Has Fireworks at Kallang (11 Jul, 18 Jul, 25 Jul, 1 Aug + 9 Aug), From ~7:30pm
If you've seen the viral post claiming 'no fireworks on certain NDP rehearsal Saturdays' — we checked, and the published schedules say otherwise. NDP 2026's show calendar runs every Saturday at the National Stadium: CR1 (27 Jun) and CR2 (4 Jul) are done, and the NE Shows (11 & 18 Jul), Preview 1 (25 Jul), Preview 2 (1 Aug) and the actual parade (Sun 9 Aug) are all listed with fireworks, fired from the Kallang Basin — NOT Marina Bay this year. Displays start around 7:30pm with the finale roughly 8:10–8:30pm. No ticket needed if you're outside: Stadium Riverside Walk, Tanjong Rhu Promenade and Kallang Riverside Park are the free front-row spots. Full verified schedule, timings, MRT and crowd tips inside — plus the caveat that NDP EXCO can change any of it, so check NDPeeps before you head down.

6 Best Mattress Brands in Singapore (2026): Two Brands Print the Same $499, and Only One Lets You Send It Back
Haylee and Sonno both open at $499 for a single. Haylee's includes a free 100-night trial; Sonno's $499 is its No-Trial tier, and the version you can return costs $699. That gap is the whole story of buying a mattress in Singapore, where the headline price rarely tells you what you get. We priced all six brands off their own live storefronts on 5 September 2026: every mattress promotion, trial period, restocking fee and warranty compared.

Prefer to explore? À-la-carte oysters run $4.95++ to $12.95++ (min 2 per variety), or go all-in on the chef-curated Tasting Platter — 16 oysters across 8 varieties for $119.95++. Available at both Quayside Isle and Bukit Timah outlets; oysters are imported in limited quantities and some varieties sell out daily, so go early.

Everything is exclusive to the new Sembawang Shopping Centre store, and the $2.20 deal runs on weekdays only. Genki Sushi is not halal-certified.

National Day Singapore: NDP Tickets Are Free (Ballot Only, Allocated Seats), the NDP 2026 Recap, and NDP 2027 at the Padang on Mon 9 Aug
Singapore turned 61 on Sunday 9 August 2026, and NDP 2026 delivered: back at the National Stadium for the first time in a decade, 42,000 spectators, a first indoor drone show with more than 300 drones, and the Presidential Gun Salute fired from Kallang Basin. The parade is done, and so is most of the SG61 deal wave. KFC's Curry x Sambal range ended 18 August, and Tim Ho Wan and York Hotel's White Rose Cafe both finished on 31 August. Only Swensen's SG61 menu runs on, to 9 September. What does not expire is the answer people keep searching for: NDP tickets are free. They are balloted, never sold, never legitimately resold, and you do not pick your seat. Here is how the ballot and the seating actually work, the NDP 2026 recap, and what NDP 2027 at the Padang on Monday 9 August 2027 (SG62) does to your odds.

SAF Day 2026 Promotions: The Campaign Closed 31 August, but 20+ NSmen Deals Run Into 2027 (1-for-1 Hotel Buffets, Mandai 30% Off, Cable Car 25% Off)
SAF Day was 1 July, and the appreciation campaign it kicked off closed on 31 August 2026. The headline bundles went with it: Burger King's $10.95 Book Out Bundle, Canadian 2 for 1 Pizza's $15.90 two-pax set, Springleaf Prata's 10%, the $72 Universal Studios adult ticket, the $99 JBL at Best Denki, Klook, Toys"R"Us and Genki Sushi. What almost nobody tells you is that SAFRA's standing 11B catalogue never stopped. The 1-for-1 hotel buffets run to 31 December 2026, Tiffany and Kintamani hold 40% off buffets to 28 February 2027, Mandai keeps 30% off all seven parks to 31 March 2027, and Jacob's Cafe runs to 31 August 2027. The catch is who qualifies: Cable Car, Majestic Fast Ferry, SneakSurf and Wild Wild Wet are now SAFRA members only, so an 11B on its own no longer opens them. Wings of Time still takes both. Here is what survived, what closed, and what changed hands on 1 September.

Best Chilli Crab in Singapore (2026): 6 Picks With Real Published Prices, Plus the Cheapest Black Pepper Crab
Every chilli crab roundup writes "market price" and stops there. We read the menus instead. JUMBO and Long Beach both publish per-100g rates, Keng Eng Kee sells a whole crab at one flat price on its own ordering site, and Roland is running two crabs for $88++. The cheapest place to eat JUMBO's award-winning chilli crab turns out not to be a JUMBO Seafood restaurant at all. Our 6 picks: JUMBO (the East Coast flagship closes 30 September 2026), Roland, Long Beach, No Signboard, Keng Eng Kee, and the budget play at JUMBOREE. Plus what a crab really costs once service charge and GST land, and where black pepper crab is cheapest.

6 Best Bak Kut Teh in Singapore (2026): Song Fa, Ng Ah Sio, Ya Hua, Founder & Sin Heng
Peppery Teochew broth or herbal Hokkien-style: bak kut teh is one of Singapore's great comfort dishes, and everyone has a fierce favourite. We've rounded up 6 of the best bowls in town, from Song Fa's New Bridge Road flagship (a 2026 Michelin Bib Gourmand, and one of just 17 places to hold it in all 10 editions) and Ng Ah Sio's punchy Rangoon Road institution with free soup refills, to Ya Hua's silky Havelock-legacy broth (since 1973), Founder's Balestier stalwart and Sin Heng's Bib Gourmand claypot herbal bowl in Joo Chiat. Plus a Ng Ah Sio vs Song Fa head-to-head, what a bowl really costs once service charge and GST land, where to eat it late, and the closing days that catch people out.

5 Best Mala Xiang Guo in Singapore (2026): Ri Ri Hong, Wang Xing, Tang² & What Mala Costs Per 100g
Numbing, fiery and dangerously addictive, mala xiang guo is Singapore's favourite pick-your-own-ingredients stir-fry, and the best stalls are worth crossing the island for. Our 5 picks: Ri Ri Hong's People's Park legend with its famous $1/$2/$3 by-the-portion pricing, Ming Sheng's balanced not-too-oily wok at Whampoa (closed Thursdays), Wang Xing's Far East Plaza OG with a 30-chilli house sauce, and Tang²'s modern build-your-bowl malatang at a flat $2.98 per 100g, whose Parklane outlet runs to 4:30am Monday to Saturday but closes at 10pm on Sundays, which catches people out. Plus the thing most guides skip: what mala actually costs per 100g in 2026, from $1.98 at the cheapest hawker stalls to $3.18 at the chains, and how to order like a pro (xiao la is not a dare).

6 Best Bak Chor Mee in Singapore (2026): Prices, Rest Days, Tai Hwa vs Tai Wah
Springy mee pok, vinegar-chilli sauce, minced pork, liver and that crucial crispy sole fish: bak chor mee might be Singapore's most quietly perfect hawker dish. Our 6 picks, every one of them priced: the Michelin-starred Hill Street Tai Hwa at Crawford Lane ($8 to $15), its Bib Gourmand relative Tai Wah at Hong Lim ($6 to $10), Macpherson Minced Meat Noodles' queue-magnet mee pok (and how to find the original, not a copycat), Bedok 85's soup-style Xing Ji at $4.50 on its own order page, Kaki Bukit's Tian Nan Xing, new to the Michelin Bib Gourmand in 2026, and Seng Kee's mushroom-laden classic. Plus the rest days: every stall here shuts at least one day a week, and Tai Hwa closes the 1st and 3rd Monday of every month.

PlayStation Is Ending Physical Game Discs: New Games Go Digital-Only From January 2028 — What It Means for You
Sony has confirmed it: PlayStation will stop producing physical discs for all new games from January 2028, after which new titles will be sold digitally only, on the PlayStation Store and as digital copies at retailers. The good news for your shelf — games already released (or releasing) on disc before January 2028 are not affected, and the discs and disc-drive consoles you already own keep working. Sony says the move follows how people already buy games: digital now makes up around 85% of its full-game sales. Announced 1 July 2026, it lands just after Grand Theft Auto 6's 'physical' edition turned out to be a download code. Here's what actually changes, what doesn't, and what it means if you like buying, lending or reselling physical games in Singapore.

Here's what each change means and how to plan around it.

5 Best Halal Cake Shops in Singapore for Kids' Birthdays & School (2026)
Looking for a halal birthday cake for your kid, or something to bring to school? A halal-certified cake means every classmate, including your child's Muslim friends, can have a slice. We checked all 5 shops against the MUIS halal register and each bakery's own allergen wording on 27 August 2026, priced a real class-of-30 order at each, and found the cheapest halal class order is $74.90 for 50 pieces. One shop's nut-free claim does not survive its own FAQ.

Here's what to see and how to make the most of the last few nights.

Apple Just Raised Prices in Singapore: Macs & iPads Up to S$600 More (iPhone Spared) — Here's the Full List
Bad news if a new Mac or iPad is on your wishlist: Apple has quietly raised Singapore prices across its Mac and iPad lines, with some models jumping by as much as S$600. The MacBook Pro 14-inch is up S$500 and the Mac Studio up S$600, while iPads rose by S$150–S$300. The cause is the global memory-chip crunch driven by the AI boom. The good news: iPhone, Apple Watch and AirPods prices are unchanged — for now. Here's exactly what went up, and by how much.

DBS PayLah! S$3 Saturday Cashback Starts 29 Aug: 6am Start, One Redemption a Week, Only at Listed Merchants
DBS has now published the campaign's full terms, and three of them decide whether you actually get the S$3. It starts on Saturday 29 August 2026 and runs every Saturday to 19 December, 17 Saturdays in all. Redemption opens at 6am each Saturday and stops once 160,000 qualifying transactions have gone through. There is no minimum spend: you get 100% of what you spend back, capped at S$3. The trap is that only your FIRST eligible PayLah! transaction each Saturday counts, so a S$1.20 kopi bought first burns the whole week's redemption for S$1.20. The bigger change since DBS announced this on 25 August: the bank has published an address-level list of participating merchants, and a stall that is not on that list pays you nothing even if it happily accepts PayLah!. The list runs to 418 pages and covers roughly 8,700 named heartland shops plus 120 hawker centres, 79 wet markets, 672 coffee shops and 62 JTC industrial canteens. Payments routed through ShopeePay, Fave, Qashier, ShopBack and 15 other payment providers are excluded, as are shops inside private malls such as Bugis Junction and Great World City.

Singapore's 'Cheapest Toy Fair' Is On: Family Fun Festival at Leisure Park Kallang, Toys From $0.10 (Till 28 Jun)
Parents, this one's for the school holidays: the Family Fun Festival has taken over the atrium at Leisure Park Kallang with what's being billed as Singapore's cheapest toy fair — think baby items, plush toys and kids' playthings from as little as $0.10–$0.30, plus storewide bargains. It runs till 28 June 2026. Here's what to know before you go (and grab a haul).

Best of all, OTH Festival 2026 — 'The Great Tampines Kueh-scape' — is FREE to enter, and it runs till 28 June 2026.

Confirmed: Singapore Electricity Tariff Jumps 17% From 1 July — Up to 31.91¢/kWh, ~$17 More a Month for a 4-Room HDB (+ 8 Ways to Cut It)
It's official: from 1 July to 30 September 2026, Singapore's household electricity tariff rises 17% — up 4.64 cents to 31.91 cents/kWh before GST (about 34.78 cents/kWh with GST), the Energy Market Authority confirmed on 30 June. A four-room HDB household will pay roughly $17 more a month (before GST). The cause is higher natural-gas prices after the Middle East conflict disrupted LNG supply. Here's what it means — and 8 practical ways to soften the hit.

Tim Ho Wan's First Singapore Outlet Is Closing — 30% Off Daily Signature Dishes Till 12 Jul 2026
After 13 years, Tim Ho Wan is closing its very first Singapore outlet at Plaza Singapura on 12 July 2026 as the mall heads for redevelopment. To say goodbye, it's running a '13 Days of Gratitude' farewell — 30% off a different featured signature dish every day from 30 Jun to 12 Jul (think shrimp dumplings, siew mai, radish cake and the famous golden lava salted-egg buns) — capped by a $68 free-flow appreciation dinner on closing night. Here's everything you need to know.

Here's what to expect — and why to grab the cheap online ticket now.

Black Tree (泰茶) at 313@somerset: Singapore's First Outlet Is Open, Drinks $4.90 to $7.90
Black Tree, the Shanghai-run Thai-tea brand behind the '400 Times' cheese-foam cups, opened its first outlet outside China at 313@somerset #01-26 in early August 2026, with the official launch on Friday 8 August. Drinks run $4.90 to $7.90 and gelato starts at $6.90. One thing almost every write-up gets wrong: the mall's own store listing has it trading 10.30am to 9.30pm Monday to Thursday and Sunday, and 10.30am to 10.30pm on Friday and Saturday, not the 10am to 10pm every article repeats. All the opening promotions (12% off, 1-for-1, the Lily Lamb plush set) finished in the first week of August, and the Singapore-exclusive Lily Lamb matcha is still capped at 200 cups a day, one per customer.

Starbucks Singapore — Any 2 Tall Drinks at $4.90 Each (22–28 Jun 2026, In-Store Only)
Starbucks fans, this one's easy: from 22 to 28 June 2026, get any Tall-sized drink at just $4.90 each when you buy two Tall drinks in a single order — coffee, tea, matcha and blended drinks all included, and you can mix and match. It's in-store only (order at the counter), not on the app or delivery, and can't be stacked with other promos. Here's how to make the most of it.

GastroBeats 2026 — Singapore's Biggest Food & Music Festival, FREE Entry at Bayfront (Till 28 Jun)

Expect 40+ F&B brands (including an Elevated Dining Zone with Neon Pigeon, The Plump Frenchman and rice. by The Meatmen Channel), live music from local acts like 53A, Jive Talkin' and Supersonic, plus a pickleball zone, a Zouk pop-up, photo booths and carnival vibes by the bay. Here's what to know before you go.

Where to Treat Dad in Singapore: 5 Restaurants for a Father's Day Dinner or Dad's Birthday, From a $36++ Set Lunch to a $220 Wagyu Striploin
Five Singapore restaurants worth booking for a Father's Day dinner, dad's birthday or any big occasion, with every price below read off the venue's own menu or booking system on 8 September 2026. The cheapest way in is not the burger joint: Meadesmoore's weekday Executive Set Lunch is $36++ for two courses and $45++ for three, and Lawry's weekday Signature Lunch is $59++ per guest, with the Signature Prime Rib entree for $30 more. And there is a catch nobody puts on a promo page: Lawry's standing offers (2 kids dine free on Sunday, 20% off every prime rib and beef steak on Wednesday, and the Privilege Circle birthday deal) are blacked out on public holidays and on named occasions including Father's Day, so the one Sunday you would actually use them is the one Sunday they do not work. The next blackout is the F1 Grand Prix, 9-11 October 2026. Three things changed since our last check. Lime's Lobsterfest ended on 6 September, and in its place children aged 12 and under dine free from 7 to 13 September before Oktoberfest takes over dinner from 25 September to 4 October at S$108 per adult. Esquina's 15th-anniversary menu has finished, so its price floor is now the $8 a la carte tapa. And Black Tap's cheapest CrazyShake is $21, not the $18 that gets quoted: the $18 item is a funnel-cake dessert served with a mini classic shake.

7 Best Florists & Flower Delivery Services in Singapore 2026: Real Same-Day Cut-Offs and What Delivery Actually Costs
Every florist site in Singapore says "same-day delivery". Almost none of them mean the same thing by it. We checked all 7 on their own terms pages in August 2026: Flower Chimp's banner promises 5pm but its terms drop the weekend cut-off to 2pm, Windflower's "free islandwide" quietly excludes hospitals, the airport, camps and Tuas, The Floral Atelier cuts off at 10.30am and charges S$20 a drop, and Xpressflower publishes a full fee table that starts at S$8. Two of the seven really are free with no conditions. Here is the bouquet floor, the real cut-off and the true delivery cost for each.

8 Best Event Spaces and Function Rooms for Rent in Singapore 2026: Capacities, Rates and Who to Book With
Booking the right venue can make or break an event, and Singapore's 2026 market runs from heritage halls and beachfront zones to co-working event spaces and budget-friendly community club function rooms. We mapped 8 venue types to start your shortlist, covering corporate conferences, birthday parties, workshops and intimate celebrations, with real capacities, the published rates where they exist, and market bands to budget against everywhere else. The framework that matters most: match the venue to your event type, headcount and pricing model, then know what to check before you sign anything.

8 Best Wedding Banquet Venues in Singapore 2026: Hotels, Heritage Spaces, Verified Price List and Minimum Spends
Singapore's 2026 wedding market runs from grand hotel ballrooms to heritage bungalows and garden pavilions, and almost nobody publishes a price. We mapped 8 venues across every tier and pulled the real numbers from the four that publish something: Shangri-La's per-guest ballroom rates and minimum attendance, the Ritz-Carlton's minimums and corkage, and the published day rates at CHIJMES and Burkill Hall. Everything else is an indicative band to confirm directly, and we say which is which.

8 Best Spas in Singapore 2026 — Hotel Luxury, Onsen, Sauna & Day Passes Compared
Singapore's spa scene spans 5-star hotel sanctuaries (Banyan Tree at MBS, St. Regis, Auriga at Capella), Japanese onsen (Ikeda, Yunomori), a local chain, a garden-cabana spa in Bishan Park and a 24-hour bathhouse. We re-checked all 8 against their own sites on 22 Aug 2026, and four things moved: Capella's Wellness Discovery Day Pass is now S$460++ (S$560++ with Sunday brunch), up S$10; MBS now publishes Banyan Tree Spa's address as Tower 2 Level 5 and reserves it for hotel guests, so the Level 55 views are gone; Ikeda's SG61 S$61 offer has been pulled while a S$68 HydraFacial trial has come back; and Aramsa's S$20 Blossom Day Pass price quietly lapsed on 31 July. Still true: Yunomori's day pass is S$49.05 adult, G.SPA's 24-hour admission is S$88, Aramsa's weekday massage is S$118 and St. Regis's S$278++ Summer Renewal Escape runs to 31 Aug. Plus the two numbers nobody publishes — Auriga's 60-min massage is S$230++, the cheapest hotel-spa hour here, and G.Spa's treatment prices already include the S$88 admission — which spas actually have a sauna, prenatal options, couples suites, and which deals are first-timers-only.

Typhoon Cafe Kids Dine Free, 1-30 Sep 2026: One Child Under 10 Eats Free With Every 2 Paying Buffet Adults, but Only Monday to Thursday and Only If You Book
Typhoon Cafe has put its Taiwanese buffet on a kids-eat-free deal for the whole of September: one child below the age of 10 dines free with every 2 paying buffet adults, from 1 to 30 September 2026, at its single outlet on level 4 of Plaza Singapura. The restaurant's own T&Cs then take two thirds of the month back, and neither of the two conditions is on the poster. It runs Monday to Thursday only, and it is strictly for guests with a prior reservation, so a family that walks in gets nothing. The free seat is worth $15.90++ at lunch and $18.90++ at dinner off Typhoon's own published buffet menu, which is $19.06 or $22.66 once the 10% service charge and 9% GST land, and the ratio is fixed at 1 free child per 2 paying adults. Two quirks are worth knowing before you book: the Monday-to-Thursday rule also dodges the $3++ per head that Typhoon adds from Friday to Sunday, so the qualifying days are the cheap days anyway, and the buffet's own child rate covers ages 5 to 10 while the promotion stops below 10, which means a 10-year-old still pays. Inside the September school holidays (5 to 13 September), exactly four days qualify.

Florist Promo Codes Singapore 2026: Which Floristique & JM Flower Discounts Are Real, Plus Sunday Cut-Offs and Real Prices
Coupon-aggregator sites list dozens of Floristique and JM Flower codes. Almost none work. We checked all five florists (Far East Flora, Floristique, JM Flower, Little Flower Hut and Windflower) on their own sites in August 2026: JM Flower is the only one publishing live codes, Floristique publishes none, and Windflower has quietly launched a rewards programme instead. We also priced what delivery really costs, because only one of the five is free with no conditions, and mapped which florists can still deliver on a Sunday.

12 Best 1-for-1 Buffet Deals in Singapore (2026): Hotel Buffet Picks Worth Your Card
Three of the twelve dropped their 1-for-1 over the past fortnight, so this is the list after the September reset. Still genuine: Café Mosaic at Carlton, where the Hong Kong dim sum lunch buffet is $68++ daily on four banks (about $34++ a head); Sun's Café at Hotel Grand Pacific, the cheapest per head at roughly S$30-33++; The Line at Shangri-La, S$72++ lunch for two on HSBC Premier; and Plate at Carlton City, now three separate 1-for-1 buffets with three different end dates. Gone: The Westin's Seasonal Tastes reopened on Level 32 on 1 September with 50% off the second diner instead, and Mercure Bugis moved its 1-for-1 off the buffet onto the $50++ afternoon tea. Window on the Park's 1-for-1 crab and lobster dinner restarts 10 September at S$168++ for two.

9 Singapore Promotions Running Right Now (September 2026): OMMA Up to 40% Off, S$3 GYG Brekkie Burrito, 1-for-1 Taco Tuesdays
The Singapore promotions that are genuinely live this week, each re-checked against the brand's own channel on 8 September 2026. Cygnet's S$48 bottomless steak frites runs Mon–Sat, El Chido pours 1-for-1 tacos every Tuesday, Guzman y Gomez drops S$3 Brekkie Burritos on the 3rd of every month, and Burger King's 20 app coupons are always on. Two headline claims did not survive this check: Sky22's half-price second main and OMMA's flat 50% off have both come off their own channels, and we say so below rather than leave them to rot.

Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf Singapore — CBTL Rewards Complete Guide (2026)
CBTL Rewards quietly offers better cashback than most Singapore dining credit cards — 5% effective cashback on every purchase, plus 50% off for new members. Here's how to use it right.

KFC Singapore — Every Current Promo Including Chicken Tuesday (2026)
KFC Singapore's Chicken Tuesday is one of the best fast-food discounts around when it runs — 5 pieces for S$9.95 (55% off). Plus current June deals: Lil' Bucket Meals from S$4.95, $25 8pc bucket, $10 Zinger Box & app-only combos. Here's the full 2026 guide.

5 Best Cashback Apps in Singapore (2026): Only ShopBack Pays Real Cash, Shopee Releases S$10 of Coins a Day, and Fave Credit Dies in 3 Months
Earn money back on every purchase. We ranked Singapore's top cashback apps for online shopping, dining and travel, with the redemption caps, payout thresholds and expiry rules that decide how much you actually keep.

6 Best Baby & Newborn Gift Sets in Singapore (2026)
Welcoming a new baby? We went through the baby and newborn gift set shops that actually deliver in Singapore and checked every price on the shop's own site in September 2026: from a S$4.99 muslin bib with the baby's name embroidered free, up to a S$256 Skip Hop activity centre. Includes the three things most guides get wrong. Mothercare no longer sells the classic wicker hamper, Skip Hop has no Singapore storefront of its own, and the cheapest set at Pigeon and the cheapest gym at Pupsik are both out of stock.

5 Best Online Shopping Deals in Singapore (2026): Free-Shipping Minimums Compared, and the S$3.99 FairPrice Charges Even on a Free-Delivery Order
Free shipping is the headline, but the fee that decides your total is often a different one. FairPrice waives delivery at S$59 and charges S$5.00 below it, yet its own rate page states the service fee is a fixed fee included on all online orders, so a non-member still pays S$3.99 on a S$200 basket that already qualifies for free delivery. We re-read every figure below off each platform's own page on 8 September 2026, except Zalora's, which is now behind a login. iHerb ships free to Singapore from SG$30 but only on selected shipping services. Lazada's LazMall free shipping is not a waiver at all: its own page states it arrives as a Free Shipping Voucher capped at S$1.49, so anything bulky or going a longer distance is a part-discount. Zalora waives delivery from S$50, counted per seller and after discounts. Shopee stays voucher-based, and two SAFRA codes we re-confirmed on SAFRA's own page run to 31 December 2026: 2026SAFRA15OFF for S$15 off with no minimum spend on a first order, and 2026SAFRA9OFF for S$9 off above S$70. Two corrections while we were in FairPrice's rate pages. The Pioneer, Merdeka and senior discounts every grocery roundup lists do not apply online at all, because FairPrice requires the cardholder to be physically present. And CHAS Blue and Orange cardholders are the only shoppers who get that S$3.99 service fee waived without paying for a membership, though FairPrice rewrote those terms on 3 September 2026 and the minimum spend is now S$100, up from S$80.

5 Best Gym Memberships in Singapore (2026): Every Gym Membership Price Compared, From $2.50 a Visit to $225 a Month
Anytime Fitness vs Virgin Active vs True Fitness vs ActiveSG vs Fitness First: we compared gym membership prices, facilities, outlet counts and current promotions in Singapore. ActiveSG is the cheapest at $2.50 per entry or $30/month unlimited, Anytime Fitness has by far the most locations (around 160 islandwide, open 24/7), True Fitness advertises $95/month but actually sells its three clubs at $165–$190/month online, Fitness First has started publishing its rates at $200 a month for one club and $225 for all 14, and Virgin Active charges $41 to $92 a week with no joining fee. All prices, outlet counts and promos below were checked against each gym's own website on 3 September 2026.

4 Best Grocery Delivery Apps & Online Supermarkets in Singapore (2026): Free Delivery from $59, $60, $80 and $100
Skip the supermarket queues: we compared the four biggest online grocery shopping platforms in Singapore on delivery fees, speed, and product range so you can stock your fridge without leaving home. The single most expensive assumption shoppers make is that free delivery kicks in at the same basket size everywhere. It doesn't. FairPrice Online goes free at $59, RedMart at $60 on a standard 6-hour slot, Cold Storage only at $80, and Sheng Siong Online not until $100. So a $59 trolley ships free at the first, misses the bar at the second, and still costs $7 at the third. And 'free' is not quite free at FairPrice: its help centre confirms the separate service fee, currently $3.99, is charged on every online order no matter how big your basket. Digital Club members escape it on $59+ subtotals, and from 3 September 2026 so do CHAS Blue and Orange cardholders on their discount day with a $100 minimum spend. Note too that Amazon Fresh shut its Singapore grocery service on 6 July 2026. Fees, thresholds and membership perks below were re-checked against each platform's own published terms in September 2026.

10 Best Birthday Freebies & Birthday Month Deals in Singapore (2026)
Your birthday is the one day a year Singapore's F&B chains hand you food for nothing, but almost every one of these needs you to sign up BEFORE the date, and a few need you to have made a purchase months earlier. We went through each brand's own membership page and terms rather than the aggregator round-ups, and the gap between what gets reposted and what the fine print actually says is wide: Suki-Ya's free buffet is real but needs three paying adults and only runs Monday to Thursday; Boost Juice's free drink has no minimum spend but needs at least one point already in your account, and points lapse after six months without a purchase; Starbucks gives Green members a cake slice only if they buy a drink, while Gold members get the drink free too; and Tim Hortons' donut needs 'any purchase' attached. Here are the 10 worth the sign-up, what each one actually costs you to claim, and the exact window you have to claim it in.
