PastaMania Senior Mondays: 30% Off the Entire A La Carte Menu for 60 and Above, Running to 31 December 2026

PastaMania is running a 30% senior discount on every a la carte item, every Monday, for anyone aged 60 and above, and its own What's On page dates it from 1 January right through to 31 December 2026. It is the largest standing discount the chain publishes and almost nobody writes it up, probably because it is not a launch. Two details make it worth more than it looks. First, PastaMania's menu is printed nett, so the 30% comes off the final number: the $7.90 Aglio Olio becomes $5.53 and the $16 ten-inch Meat Lovers becomes $11.20, with no GST or service charge added afterwards. Second, unlike most senior deals it covers takeaway as well as dine-in. The catches are all in the fine print: Mondays only and never on a public holiday, the senior has to be there with identification, and you must pay over the counter, because ordering through the Order-At-Table platform voids it. Three of PastaMania's 16 Singapore outlets are excluded (the Pronto shops at Pioneer Mall, Toa Payoh and Changi Airport Terminal 2), leaving 13 that honour it. The next Mondays are 14, 21 and 28 September 2026. Also live from the same page: Kids Eat Free, a free Kids' Meal worth $9.90 with every adult main, on the last Sunday of each month, which lands on Sunday 27 September.

PastaMania publishes a 30% discount for anyone aged 60 and above, on every a la carte item, every Monday, and dates it on its own What's On page from 1 January to 31 December 2026. It is the biggest standing discount the chain offers, and it gets almost no coverage, most likely because it is not a launch and there is no countdown attached to it.

> Quick view: 30% off all a la carte items, Mondays only, for ages 60 and above, to 31 December 2026. The menu is printed nett, so the discount comes off the final number: Aglio Olio $7.90 becomes $5.53, a 10-inch Meat Lovers $16.00 becomes $11.20. Unusually for a senior deal, takeaway counts. The catches: never on a public holiday, the senior must be present with identification, and you must pay over the counter, because the Order-At-Table platform voids it. 13 of 16 Singapore outlets take part. Next Mondays: 14, 21 and 28 September 2026.

Why nett pricing makes this worth more than 30%

The last line of PastaMania's own dine-in menu PDF reads "All prices in nett price". That single line is what separates this from most restaurant percentages you see quoted, because there is no GST and no service charge waiting at the till.

ItemMenu price (nett)Senior Monday
Aglio Olio$7.90$5.53
Wild Mushroom Aglio$10.00$7.00
Chicken Bacon Aglio$11.00$7.70
Prawn Aglio$12.50$8.75
Margherita pizza, 7-inch$10.00$7.00
Meat Lovers pizza, 10-inch$16.00$11.20
Garlic Bread$3.00$2.10
Coffee-misu$5.00$3.50

For contrast, a restaurant advertising the same 30% on a menu that is subject to GST and a 10% service charge turns a $16.00 headline into $18.72 before the discount, and $13.10 after it. Here $16.00 means $16.00, and a senior pays $11.20 flat.

The discount is written as applying to all a la carte items, which is why the sides and dessert rows above are in the table. Set meals, which PastaMania prices separately (Soup Set $6.00, Snack Set $7.00, Dessert Set $5.50), are not a la carte items and should not be assumed to qualify.

The fine print that decides whether you get it

Four conditions sit in PastaMania's own terms, and three of them catch people out.

  • Mondays only, and never on a public holiday. A Monday that falls on a public holiday is excluded outright, so check the date before making a special trip.
  • The senior has to be there. Proof of identification is required at the point of ordering, so this is not something a family member can claim on an absent parent's behalf.
  • Payment must be over the counter. The terms state the promotion is only valid for payment made over the counter, not through the Order-At-Table platform. At outlets where scanning the table QR code is the default, that flow will quietly cost you the discount. Walk to the till.
  • Dine-in and takeaway both count. This is the generous part, and it is rare. Most senior rates in Singapore are dine-in only, so a Monday takeaway run at 30% off is a genuine option here.

The three outlets where none of this works

PastaMania lists 16 Singapore outlets. Three of them are Pronto shops and they are excluded from the senior discount, from Kids Eat Free, from the birthday dessert, from the Pasta-port kids' card and from TriplePlus benefits, in identical wording each time:

  • PastaMania Pronto, Pioneer Mall, 638 Jurong West Street 61
  • PastaMania Pronto, Toa Payoh, 190 Toa Payoh Lorong 6
  • PastaMania Pronto, Changi Airport Terminal 2, Viewing Mall South

All three are franchise outlets, and PastaMania's locator separately notes they do not accept Commonwealth Concepts vouchers. That leaves 13 participating outlets: Sengkang ActiveSG Sports Centre, Northpoint City, Causeway Point, Hougang 1, JEM, Lot One, West Mall, Fusionopolis One, City Square Mall, Kallang Wave Mall, Tampines Mall, ESR BizPark @ Chai Chee and Paya Lebar Square.

Kids Eat Free lands on Sunday 27 September

From the same What's On page, and worth putting in the calendar because it runs on exactly one day a month: a free Kids' Meal, usual price $9.90, with every main ordered from the adult menu, on the last Sunday of each month. In September 2026 that is Sunday 27 September.

The terms mirror the senior deal in the two places that matter. It is dine-in only this time, payment must again be over the counter rather than through Order-At-Table, and it is limited to one Kids' Meal per receipt with a minimum of one main ordered. Children must be 10 years old or below and present, with identification. It cannot be combined with other discounts or reward redemptions, and you cannot collect a Pasta-port stamp on the same visit.

Two smaller ones from the same page

Birthday Coffee-misu. In your birthday month, any main course comes with a free Coffee-misu, which is $5.00 on the menu. Dine-in only, one per customer per visit, proof of birthday month required at ordering, and not combinable with other promotions. PastaMania lists it as valid from April 2026 with no end date published.

Pasta-port. A loyalty card for children 10 and below: one stamp per Kids' Meal, then 3 stamps for an activity pack, 6 for merchandise and 10 for a free Kids' Meal. Stamps are issued only on the day of purchase, cannot be earned on delivery or third-party platform orders, and cannot be collected on a Kids Eat Free visit.

TriplePlus. The group loyalty programme across Commonwealth Concepts brands including Bedrock, Fat Cow, Kinki, PastaMania and The Marmalade Pantry. The basic tier is free and gives a 25% birthday voucher plus up to 10% cashback rebates. It carries the same three-outlet exclusion.

How to play it

If there is someone aged 60 or above in the household, Monday is the day to order, and the takeaway allowance means one trip can cover everyone. If there are children, the last Sunday of the month is the other date. The two can never clash, since one is always a Monday and the other always a Sunday, but neither will combine with anything else, so pick the single best benefit per bill rather than trying to layer them.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does the PastaMania senior discount actually save on a real order?

More than the percentage suggests, because of how PastaMania prices its menu. The bottom of the chain's own dine-in menu PDF states that all prices are nett, so there is no GST or service charge added at the till and the 30% comes straight off the printed figure. On the Aglio range that means Aglio Olio falls from $7.90 to $5.53, Wild Mushroom Aglio from $10.00 to $7.00, Chicken Bacon Aglio from $11.00 to $7.70 and Prawn Aglio from $12.50 to $8.75. On pizza, a 7-inch Margherita goes from $10.00 to $7.00 and a 10-inch Meat Lovers from $16.00 to $11.20. Compare that with a restaurant quoting the same 30% on a menu that is subject to GST and a 10% service charge, where a $16 headline is really $18.72 before any discount and $13.10 after it. The discount applies to all a la carte items, so sides and desserts count too: Garlic Bread at $3.00 becomes $2.10 and the Coffee-misu at $5.00 becomes $3.50.

Which PastaMania outlets are excluded, and why does paying at the counter matter?

Three of the chain's 16 Singapore outlets are excluded, and they are the same three every time: PastaMania Pronto at Pioneer Mall, PastaMania Pronto at Toa Payoh, and PastaMania Pronto at Changi Airport Terminal 2. All three are franchise outlets, and PastaMania's locator flags separately that they do not take Commonwealth Concepts vouchers either. The senior Monday discount, Kids Eat Free, the birthday Coffee-misu, the Pasta-port kids' loyalty card and the TriplePlus membership benefits all carry the identical exclusion, so if one of those three is your nearest branch, none of the brand's promotions will work there. That leaves 13 participating outlets: Sengkang ActiveSG Sports Centre, Northpoint City, Causeway Point, Hougang 1, JEM, Lot One, West Mall, Fusionopolis One, City Square Mall, Kallang Wave Mall, Tampines Mall, ESR BizPark @ Chai Chee and Paya Lebar Square. The counter rule is a separate trap written into the terms of both the senior discount and Kids Eat Free: payment must be made over the counter, and an order placed and paid through the Order-At-Table platform does not qualify. In practice that means not scanning the QR code on your table, which is the default flow at several outlets, and walking up to the till instead.

Does the senior discount work on takeaway, and can I stack it with Kids Eat Free?

Takeaway yes, stacking no. The senior discount's own terms say it is valid for dine-in and takeaway on Mondays, which is unusual: most senior rates in Singapore are dine-in only, so a family can send one person aged 60 or above to collect a whole order on a Monday at 30% off. It is still barred on public holidays, so a Monday that falls on a public holiday does not count and you should check the date before making the trip. Stacking is where it stops. Kids Eat Free runs on the last Sunday of the month, which by definition is never a Monday, so the two can never overlap in the first place. Beyond the calendar, both promotions carry a no-stacking clause: Kids Eat Free is not valid in conjunction with any other discounts, privileges, benefits or reward redemptions, the birthday Coffee-misu is not valid in conjunction with other promotions, discounts, privileges or vouchers, and a Pasta-port stamp cannot be collected on a Kids Eat Free visit. If you hold a free TriplePlus membership, which gives a 25% birthday voucher and up to 10% cashback across Commonwealth Concepts brands, work out which single benefit is worth more on that particular bill rather than expecting to combine them.
