Sushiro's newest Singapore outlet opens today, Thursday 1 October 2026, on the second floor of Hougang Mall. Like its Orchard Gateway opening in August, it launches with a rotating 1-for-1: one premium sushi at a time, each for two or three days, from 1 to 14 October. Sushiro Singapore announced it on its official Instagram on 29 September, and its store locator lists the outlet as opening on 1 October.

Across the whole fortnight, the Free Flow Drinks Bar and Green Tea costs $1.50++ instead of $3.00++. The drinks bar has Coca-Cola, Sprite, Nestea and Nestlé drinks, per the poster.
Opening day extras (Thu 1 Oct)
- Sure-win lucky dip: spend at least $50 in a single receipt today and you get one dip. Prizes listed are a $10 voucher, a drinks bar coupon, limited-edition Dakkosushi merchandise and a KitKat neck pillow. Sushiro says T&Cs apply.
- Kids' freebie: look for staff wearing an "I ❤️ SUSHIRO" sash. A child who shouts "I LOVE SUSHIRO" gets free Dakkosushi merchandise. The post gives no quantity or end date, so treat it as an opening-period surprise.
The fine print
- One plate, not two orders. The poster says the sushi "will be served on the same plate". You order the two-piece plate at the promo price; you cannot split it into two separate orders.
- Prices are ++. Add 10% service charge and 9% GST. Bluefin Fatty Tuna works out to about $5.88 nett for two, the $3.90++ plates to about $4.68, the shrimp to about $2.76 and the salmon to about $3.48. The drinks bar is about $1.80 nett.
- Hougang Mall only. These prices are for this outlet. Other branches charge the usual menu prices.
- Check the date before you go. Each sushi is only on promotion in its own slot. The Instagram caption writes the salmon slot as "12 & 14 Oct", but the poster prints 12 to 14 Oct, so we read 13 October as included.
Tips
- Book through the app. App reservations for Hougang Mall opened on 24 September. Opening weekends at Sushiro usually mean queues, so pick a slot rather than walking in.
- Pick a quiet slot for the tuna. The Bluefin Fatty Tuna days (1-2 Oct) fall on a weekday and the Children's Day holiday, so a weekday lunch slot is the easier table to get.
- Pair it with the chain-wide extras. Sushiro's Pokémon collaboration moves to Wave 2 from 1 October at all outlets, and from 2 October any two KAGOME juices come with a free Dakkosushi cup while stocks last.
