Genki Sushi has teamed up with Crayon Shinchan from 24 September to 8 November 2026, with 14 limited-time dishes, a gachapon spin for every $50 spent and two pieces of Shinchan merchandise you can buy outright. The headline plate is a $3.20 Cheesy Ebi Fry Taco, and the best-value move is joining Genki's free membership before you pay.

Menu prices are from Genki Sushi's own Shinchan promotion page. The "about nett" column adds 10% service charge and 9% GST, which Genki's artwork says apply. The four dishes on the poster (taco, katsu rice, ramen and soft serve) come to $27.60 on the menu, or about $33.09 on the bill.
The gachapon spin and the merchandise
- Gachapon spin: one for every $50 spent. Prizes are Genki Sushi vouchers, a Shinchan Cup Holder, a Phone Strap or Cable Clips, and the draw is random. Genki's page does not say whether the $50 is before or after service charge and GST, so check at the counter before adding a plate just to reach it. If it is counted nett, $50 is about $41.70 of menu prices.
- Shinchan Thermal Lunch Bag: $10.90, or $7.90 with a DBS/POSB card, or $6.90 for Genki Sushi members.
- Shinchan hoodie: $25.90, marked "Members Exclusive" on the campaign poster, so you need a Genki membership to buy it.
The fine print
- Dates: Thursday 24 September to Sunday 8 November 2026.
- Outlets: Genki Sushi lists 22 outlets, from Bugis+ and Plaza Singapura to Jurong Point, Sembawang Shopping Centre and Pasir Ris Mall, and has not published an exclusion list. Most open 11am to 10pm (last order 9.45pm); City Square Mall, United Square, i12 Katong and Pasir Ris Mall close at 9pm Monday to Thursday.
- Service charge and GST are on top of every menu price.
- Merchandise and spin prizes are while stocks last.
- Prizes are random. You cannot choose the cup holder, strap or clips you get.
Tips
Join Genki's membership first. It is free in the Genki Sushi app, it takes the lunch bag from $10.90 to $6.90, and it is the only way to buy the hoodie. Members also earn points and can take a queue number in the app before they arrive, which helps on weekends when a character collab fills the conveyor-belt seats.
Go as a group for the spin. A single diner rarely spends $50 at Genki, but three or four people sharing the Irodori Sashimi Platter and a round of trios will. Pay on one bill, since the spin is counted per $50 spent.
The cheapest way in is the taco. At $3.20 before charges it is the lowest-priced collab dish on the menu, and it is the one on the front of the poster.
