Looking for a free, easy outing with the kids this weekend? The Bus Safety Roadshow 2026 lands at One Punggol on 21 and 22 August 2026, and it is free for everyone.
Organised by the Ministry of Transport and the Land Transport Authority (LTA) together with the public bus operators, it turns bus and road safety into a hands-on, kid-friendly day out.

The details
- What: exhibitions, interactive booths and hands-on activities on how to stay safe on and around buses, plus free souvenirs to redeem while stocks last
- Where: One Punggol, Celebration Square 1 & 2
- When: Fri 21 August, 1.30pm to 8pm, and Sat 22 August 2026, 10am to 8pm
- Cost: free, no ticket or registration needed
Mind the different hours. Friday starts in the afternoon (1.30pm), while Saturday opens in the morning (10am). If the free souvenirs are the draw, go earlier in the day.
Why it is worth a trip
It is genuinely built for families — children get to try interactive, hands-on activities rather than just walk past displays, and it is co-run with familiar names like Go-Ahead Singapore, SBS Transit, SMRT Buses and Tower Transit, along with the Traffic Police, the Singapore Road Safety Council, SCDF and the Automobile Association of Singapore.
Getting there is painless: One Punggol sits right beside Punggol MRT/LRT, so it is a straight ride on the North East Line or the Punggol LRT. Make a half-day of it by pairing the roadshow with the rest of One Punggol — the community hub has a rooftop, a library and plenty of eateries.
