Michael Trio is the easiest place to build a ring to a budget, because every setting and every loose diamond is priced on its site. There are 791 engagement settings, and until 1 October 2026 all of them are 20% off: the Petite Solitaire, Isla and Oceanic Twist start at S$733 (was S$916). Loose stones are listed separately, with natural diamonds graded by GIA and lab-grown by IGI. A round 0.50ct G VS2 excellent-cut natural stone starts at S$910 and a 1.00ct at S$4,219; a lab-grown 1.01ct in the same grades is from S$681. If you would rather pick one off the shelf, the ready-to-ship Faye Classic with a 0.40ct natural diamond is S$1,799, the Henrietta Tapered Solitaire with a 0.51ct natural stone S$2,199, and the Classic Heartline with a 1.03ct lab-grown stone S$2,088. Rio Diamonds is a by-appointment showroom on the 11th floor of Far East Shopping Centre (#11-13) that sells the setting and the diamond separately, and it is where a natural, GIA-graded carat came out cheapest. Its diamond search on 27 September listed a 1.01ct H VS2 triple-excellent GIA stone at S$3,374 and a 0.50ct H VS2 GIA at S$831. Settings (Rio calls them casings) start at S$720 for the Nora Solitaire, but that is the 14K price: 18K gold or platinum adds S$170, making S$890, and most solitaire casings are S$790-S$850. A 1ct H VS2 GIA ring therefore lands at roughly S$4,100-S$4,300, our own sum. Rio also has five lab-grown casings from S$720. The LVC Precieux line starts at S$299 for a small diamond ring and S$1,099 for the Classic Solitaire, and the 1ct LVC Say Love rings, cut so a heart shows in the stone, run from S$1,799 to S$2,999 depending on design and ring size (Destiny Elise from S$1,899, Elena S$2,299). Diamonds of 0.30ct and above come with a certificate, and it offers five shapes: round, oval, princess, pear and emerald. You get a complimentary exchange within 30 days and engraving options. Goldheart's engagement rings are its lab-grown Star Promise line, and every piece is marked 50% off on its web store. That puts a 0.50ct E VS1 Twist Band at S$1,244 (was S$2,488), the 1.00ct D VS1 Classic or Infinity ring at S$2,329 (was S$4,658), the 1.01ct Sparkling Solitaire at S$2,709 and a 1.50ct cushion-cut Elara at S$3,284. For a natural stone, the Small Solitaire rings with a centre of about 0.2ct are S$1,314 to S$1,545. The site does not name the grading lab for Star Promise stones, so ask for the certificate in store. The homepage banner adds "50+10% off, VIP exclusive" without publishing the terms. Goldheart's GH10OFF code applies only to regularly priced items, so it does not stack on these rings. SK Jewellery's engagement rings online are all lab-grown and IGI-certified, built around its patented 101-facet AllStar cut. The AllStar Classic Heart is S$2,249 with a 1.00ct F VS1 stone and S$3,069 with a 2.00ct G VS1, the cheapest 2-carat ring on this list. The Astral Brilliance is S$2,329 at 1ct, The Apex S$3,208, and the Star Carat Lovestruck S$3,779 (U.P. S$4,129). Product pages show "Request Consultation" instead of a buy button for some rings, so expect to finalise in store. Selected designs get free resizing within 60 days, up to three sizes, plus lifetime cleaning and servicing. Poh Heng's Trust solitaires are the only rings in this guide that are natural, D colour, triple-excellent and GIA-certified as standard, and there is no lab-grown option. The Trust Solitaire in white gold is S$3,945 at 0.30ct VS1, S$4,890 at 0.41ct and S$7,075 at 0.50ct; at 1.10ct VVS2 it is S$36,330, a reminder of what top colour costs at size. Its own web store has been showing an upgrade page since at least mid-September, so the clearest prices right now are for its Anniversary Soirée at the ION Orchard Diamond Promenade (#B2-58), from Friday 2 to Monday 5 October 2026, 11am-9.30pm. Lee Hwa's RSVP page advertises a Solitaire Sale with 1ct from S$1,088 (four S$272 interest-free payments with Grab PayLater), Destinée at 15% off plus a further 15% for VIPs, and Supernova lab-grown at 55% off plus 10% for VIPs, with a free 0.3ct pendant (worth S$1,078) on a 1ct purchase. The page does not say whether the S$1,088 solitaire is natural or lab-grown, and the full terms are not published, so ask before you pay. RSVPs get a door gift; there are prize draws for every S$1,200 spent. Outside the event, Lee Hwa's official Lazada store lists Destinée diamond rings from S$980. Other outlets include VivoCity #01-70 (10am-10pm).

JannPaul is the pick if you want a natural stone chosen and set with you rather than a ring from a tray. It publishes no prices: its diamond price guide lists carat bands from 0.31ct to 1.09ct in D-G colour and VVS1-VS2 clarity and asks you to request a quote, and it does not upload its diamonds online. Stones are graded by GIA, AGS or GCAL (it states it does not carry IGI), and it cuts its own White Series diamonds; its lab-grown stones are mostly made to order. The perks are generous: a lifetime warranty covering prong tightening, re-polishing, rhodium plating and replacement of side stones lost to a broken prong, plus unlimited free cleaning, prong checks and free engraving.
