> Quick view: Yo-Chi opens its fourth Singapore outlet at i12 Katong on Thu 5 Nov 2026 at 11am. Three things are new: a Kaya Swiss Roll and a kaya-filled Choux Puff made with Chin Mee Chin, and an Iced Latte yoghurt. If you want the Choux Puff, you have about three days and one location.
Australian frozen yoghurt chain Yo-Chi announced the opening on its Instagram on 4 November, styling the launch as a Yo-Chi kopitiam. The toppings are a collaboration with Chin Mee Chin, the Katong kopitiam and bakery a short walk down East Coast Road. CNA reported further details on 5 November, including the daily cap.
What is on offer
| Item | What it is | Where | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| Choux Puff | Crisp pastry shell, filled with kaya custard at a live station | i12 Katong only | 500 pieces a day for three days |
| Kaya Swiss Roll | Green sponge cake with a kaya filling | i12 Katong first, then island-wide | Goes island-wide three days after launch |
| Iced Latte yoghurt | New coffee-flavoured frozen yoghurt | Named for i12 Katong in Yo-Chi's post | No end date given |
The outlet also has Peranakan-inspired decor, with a mural and 3D installation by local artist Nicia Lam of Wontonicia.
Fine print
- The dates are partly inferred. CNA says three days, which from a 5 November opening runs to Sat 7 Nov. Yo-Chi's own post prints no end date, and neither source gives an exact date for the Swiss Roll's wider rollout.
- Release time is not stated. Nobody has said when each day's 500 Choux Puffs go out, so an earlier visit is the safer bet.
- Price is by weight. Eatbook reported S$3.50 per 100g at the other Singapore outlets in September and October. We found no published i12 Katong price, and no word on whether the collaboration toppings are charged differently.
- Halal status. Eatbook reported in July that Yo-Chi is not halal-certified. Check the MUIS register if this matters to you.
What it means for you
This is Yo-Chi's first outlet in the east, after Orchard Central (August 2025), The Star Vista (May 2026) and Westgate. If you live around Marine Parade or Katong, you no longer need to cross town for it. Eatbook puts the mall a four to five-minute walk from Marine Parade MRT.
If you only care about the kaya flavour, there is less hurry for the Swiss Roll, since it is due at the other outlets soon after. The Choux Puff is the one that needs a trip this week. Yo-Chi outlets have drawn long queues at launch, so plan for a wait.
Yo-Chi i12 Katong: 112 East Coast Road, Singapore 428802. Opening day doors at 11am.
