IKEA's Christmas Buffet returns for IKEA Family members on three Fridays in December. Jurong's tickets go on sale first, on 5 November, and they are sold only at the store's restaurant counter.

Dates, seatings and ticket sales
| Store | Buffet date | Seating | Tickets on sale |
|---|---|---|---|
| IKEA Jurong (JEM) | Fri 4 Dec | 7.30pm-9pm | From Thu 5 Nov |
| IKEA Alexandra | Fri 11 Dec | 5pm-6.30pm or 7.30pm-9pm | From Thu 12 Nov |
| IKEA Tampines | Fri 18 Dec | 5pm-6.30pm or 7.30pm-9pm | From Tue 17 Nov |
IKEA gives last order as 6pm for the early seating and 9pm for the late one. That 9pm is the same minute the late seating ends, so plan on eating well before then.
What you pay
| Group | Tickets | Total |
|---|---|---|
| 2 adults | 2 x $29.90 | $59.80 |
| 2 adults, a child of 8, a child of 3 | 2 x $29.90 + $15.90 + free | $75.70 |
| 4 adults | 4 x $29.90 | $119.60 |
A child who has turned 12 pays the adult rate, by IKEA's wording. IKEA prints these prices with no "++". For scale, the cheapest hotel in our Christmas buffet guide starts at $72++ before charges and member discount.
What is on the menu
IKEA publishes one menu for all three dates:
- Cold dishes: ASC-certified smoked and marinated salmon, salmon wraps, MSC-certified marinated herring, Swedish salmon and shrimp salads, garden salad, sliced honey baked ham
- Hot snacks: spicy chicken winglets, popcorn chicken, onion rings, nachos with cheese sauce
- Hot dishes: beef goulash, Swedish meatballs, plant balls, salmon with hollandaise, organic penne, mashed potato, mixed vegetables, butter raisin rice, mini cheese cocktail sausages
- Bakery and soup: cream of mushroom soup, crispbread, Hushållsost cheese, cinnamon buns, assorted bread, Swedish organic jams, cranberry rolls
- Desserts: Belgian chocolate log cake, lingonberry vanilla log cake, fruit cocktail, Swedish festive biscuits, fresh fruit
The fine print
- IKEA Family only. IKEA calls it exclusive to members and prints no non-member price.
- Counter sales only. Each date's tickets are listed at that store's Swedish Restaurant cashier counter. The page lists no online sale.
- Original ticket only. Photos, photocopies and other replicas are rejected, and every guest needs a valid ticket.
- One session. Your ticket covers only the session printed on it.
- No-shows lose out. No refund, and no move to another session or another IKEA store.
- Dine-in only. No takeaway, no packing leftovers, and no outside food or drinks.
- Food can change. IKEA's menu says items may vary or be substituted without notice and replenishment is subject to availability, so a favourite may not come back.
Is it halal?
Do not assume so, even at Tampines. The single published menu lists ham, and IKEA does not label the buffet halal. Tampines' restaurant has a separate Halal Line menu, and that is not this buffet. If this matters to you, ask the Tampines counter before buying. Our halal buffet guide has halal options.
Tips
- Do not wait on Jurong. IKEA's Crayfish Party buffet in August was marked "Tickets are all sold out" on its own page. We cannot see how many Christmas tickets are left, so go early if your date matters.
- Bring a card or NETS to Jurong. IKEA lists that store as cashless only. Alexandra and Tampines say cashless is preferred.
- Check the counter hours. IKEA lists its restaurants as open 10am-9.30pm on weekdays and 9am-10pm on weekends.
- Young children suit Alexandra or Tampines. Jurong has only the 7.30pm seating, while the other two start at 5pm.
- Ask about group limits. The page prints no ticket cap, but August's Crayfish Party had a limit of four per membership.
- Do not plan on Santa or snow that night. The stores' listed Santa sessions and the Tampines snow sessions do not fall on the buffet date at that store. They run on other December days, so check IKEA's Christmas page.
- Missed out? The Swedish Restaurant's Christmas menu runs 9 November 2026 to 3 January 2027 with no ticket needed: Rosemary Chicken set $15.90 (regular $18.70), Boneless Pork Knuckle set $21.90 (regular $25.70), cold plate $7.90 and mini log cake $4.90, dine-in, while stocks last.
