The Singapore Red Cross is pairing its year-end blood drive with dessert. Donate whole blood successfully at any of the five bloodbanks between Monday 2 November and Sunday 6 December 2026 and you get a voucher from Mixue, Messina or Yo-Chi, depending on the week.
> Quick view: 2 Nov-6 Dec 2026 · one dessert voucher per successful whole blood donor · Mixue $5 (2-15 Nov), Messina free extra scoop (16-26 Nov), Yo-Chi $5 (27 Nov-6 Dec) · all 5 bloodbanks · show the campaign page at registration or it doesn't count · while stocks last.
Which voucher, when
The campaign is called Not All Pints Are Equal, a play on a pint of dessert versus a pint of blood. The Red Cross campaign page (posted 28 October) rotates the partner brand through three windows:
| Donation dates | Voucher |
|---|---|
| Mon 2 Nov-Sun 15 Nov | Mixue: $5 discount voucher |
| Mon 16 Nov-Thu 26 Nov | Messina: free extra scoop of ice cream |
| Fri 27 Nov-Sun 6 Dec | Yo-Chi: $5 discount voucher |
Once a window closes, that brand's voucher is no longer issued, and it's while stocks last within each window too.
How to claim
- Show it. Flash the campaign page (or any campaign visual from the Red Cross's social pages) at the bloodbank registration counter.
- Sign up. Complete the registration form.
- Donate. The voucher goes to successful whole blood donors only.
- Treat yourself. Take the voucher to that window's brand and redeem it there.
The fine print
- Before, not after. The terms say staff will not prompt you about the campaign. If you only notice it after donating and didn't show the visual at registration, you're not eligible.
- Campaign dates only. Donations outside 2 November to 6 December 2026 don't qualify.
- One voucher per successful donor, no exchange or refund.
- Validity varies. Each brand's voucher carries its own validity period, printed on the voucher. Expired vouchers won't be accepted.
- Mixue is limited to five outlets: Bugis Village, City Link Mall, North Point City, West Mall and Sengkang Grand Mall. Check that one is convenient before you choose the first window.
- The Red Cross may change the mechanics without notice, so glance at the campaign page again before you go.
The bloodbanks
The campaign runs at all five: Bloodbank@HSA (Outram), Dhoby Ghaut (Dhoby Xchange), Westgate Tower (Jurong East), One Punggol and Woodlands. Each bloodbank closes on a different weekday. HSA has been closed on Mondays, which matters on the opening day, Monday 2 November. Check the hours on the Red Cross or HSA site and book a slot through the DonateBlood app or Singpass.
Bonus: a free silent disco on 6 December
Donors who give blood between 1 July and 30 November 2026 can register interest in Pints & Beats, a silent disco on Sunday 6 December, 2pm-6pm, at Another Bar, Rendezvous Hotel Singapore (9 Bras Basah Road #02-03). Scan the QR code on the tent cards at the bloodbank refreshment area to register. It isn't first come, first served: selected donors get a confirmation email between 30 November and 4 December that admits them plus one guest, and there are no walk-ins. On the day there are free Mixue drinks and a custom T-shirt station (first 150 guests each), hourly lucky draws at 3pm, 4pm and 5pm, and a Golden Pint Grand Draw to close.
Why now
HSA says blood collection typically drops by up to 20% over the year-end period, when many regular donors travel. Trips to places with insect-borne diseases can also defer donors for up to four months after they return. As at 29 October, stocks of every blood type were in the healthy range except A- and B-, which were at moderate levels.
Tips
- Screenshot the campaign page now so it's ready at the counter.
- Check your eligibility date. If you donated in the POP MART campaign (25 Sep-12 Oct), HSA's minimum gap between whole blood donations will likely rule you out before 6 December. The DonateBlood app shows your next eligible date.
- Eat and drink well beforehand. Only a successful donation earns the voucher.
- Pick your dessert by date. Most people can donate only once in these five weeks, so book the window you want.
