Jewel has run National Day ticket offers before, but this one is unusually easy to use — provided you notice that the window to buy and the window to visit are two different things.
> Quick view: 1-for-1 on LOCAL individual attraction tickets at Jewel Canopy Park · buy 7–10 Aug 2026 only · valid for a single-day visit any time 7–31 Aug 2026 · Bouncing Net ~$10.45 a head, Mirror Maze ~$7.95, Hedge Maze / Canopy Bridge ~$5.95 · excludes the $6 Canopy Park sole ticket, Bundle Deals 1–4 and Standard (non-local) tickets · same ticket type only.
1. The offer, in Jewel's own words
Jewel Changi Airport's Canopy Park promotions page carries it as a "1-for-1 Flash Sale on LOCAL INDIVIDUAL ATTRACTION TICKETS", with the terms stated plainly:
> Promotion is valid for purchase from 7 to 10 August 2026, and valid for a single day visit from 7 to 31 August 2026.
That split is the whole trick. 7 August is a Friday, 8 August a Saturday, 9 August National Day itself and 10 August the public holiday — so the buying window is the entire long weekend and nothing else. But you are not obliged to spend that weekend queueing on Level 5. Buy the tickets, then pick a quiet weekday later in the month.
2. What you actually pay
Every individual attraction ticket at Canopy Park already includes Canopy Park admission — the Discovery Slides, Foggy Bowls, Petal Garden and Topiary Walk. So the 1-for-1 is applied to the whole thing, not to a bare ride ticket. Using Jewel's published local (Singapore Resident) rates:
| Attraction | Local adult (U.P.) | Pair after 1-for-1 | Per head | Local child / student / senior (U.P.) | Per head |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Mastercard® Canopy Bridge | $11.90 | $11.90 | ~$5.95 | $8.90 | ~$4.45 |
| Hedge Maze | $11.90 | $11.90 | ~$5.95 | $8.90 | ~$4.45 |
| Mirror Maze | $15.90 | $15.90 | ~$7.95 | $10.90 | ~$5.45 |
| Bouncing Net | $20.90 | $20.90 | ~$10.45 | $15.90 | ~$7.95 |
The Bouncing Net is the biggest absolute saving at $20.90 off a pair, and its ticket covers one 45-minute session including a compulsory 10-minute safety briefing. The Mirror Maze is the next best at $15.90 off.
One quiet consequence worth spotting: at about $5.95 a head, a pair of Hedge Maze or Canopy Bridge tickets is cheaper per person than the $6 Canopy Park sole ticket — which is itself excluded from the promotion — and it throws the maze or the bridge in. If you were planning to buy the $6 admission for two people, buy the Hedge Maze pair instead.
3. The exclusions — this is where people will get caught
Jewel's terms rule out three categories, and the wording is specific:
- The Canopy Park sole ticket — the $6 local / $8 standard admission on its own.
- Bundle Deals 1 to 4 — the multi-attraction packages. If you want the full Canopy Park set, the bundles remain the cheaper route; the 1-for-1 does not touch them.
- Standard individual attraction tickets — i.e. non-local rates. This is a locals-only flash sale.
On top of that:
- The free ticket must be the same type — 1 adult to 1 adult, 1 child to 1 child. Odd numbers pay full price for the odd one out.
- Not valid with any other discount or promotion. That kills stacking with the CapitaStar / Changi Rewards concierge rate (which would otherwise get a Hedge Maze adult to $10.70 — still worse than $5.95 here), and with the Mastercard cardholder 1-for-1 on the Canopy Bridge, which in any case runs Mondays to Thursdays only and is not valid on public holidays.
- Minimum height 110cm for the Discovery Slides, Bouncing Net and Walking Net.
- All child ticket holders must be accompanied by a paying adult.
- Tickets are non-exchangeable, non-refundable and not for resale, and Jewel notes that damaged, altered or illegible tickets will be denied entry.
4. Who qualifies as "local"
More people than you might assume. Jewel's ticket pages define the Singapore Resident rate as applying to Singapore citizens, permanent residents, and Employment Pass, Work Permit and Dependent Pass holders — with proof of residency possibly required both at purchase and on admission. That is a notably wider net than the citizen-and-PR-only National Day tickets other attractions are running this month. A tourist does not qualify, and you cannot route around it by buying them a Standard ticket.
5. Two things that are closed
Check these before you pick an attraction or a date, both per Jewel's own advisory:
- The Walking Net is closed for maintenance works. It appears in Bundle Deals but is not currently usable.
- The Mastercard® Canopy Bridge is closed on 30 August, 2pm to 7pm.
Canopy Park's hours are 10am–9pm Monday to Thursday and 10am–10pm Friday to Sunday, eves and public holidays, with last admission 30 minutes before closing. Individual attractions can keep shorter hours — the Mirror Maze and Hedge Maze close at 9pm daily.
6. If you're already going for National Day weekend
The 1-for-1 sits inside a much larger SG61 programme across Changi and Jewel, most of which is free:
- The "Home" Light & Music Showcase at the Jewel Rain Vortex, a National Day edition built around Kit Chan's NDP theme song, runs 1–31 August 2026.
- LEGO® Botanicals installations are up across Canopy Park and Forest Valley until 30 August.
- A Taste & Touch of Peranakan Heritage, with Baba Nyonya — a sampling platter, a bookmark workshop and traditional attire for a photo on the Canopy Bridge — runs 1 August to 31 December 2026 and needs booking.
- Over at the terminals: the Buddy Bear Stamp Hunt (qualifying spend, redeem a National Day Buddy Bear keychain), National Day horticultural displays across T1–T4 till 31 August, and the National Day Special Weekend at ST3PS (T3, Basement 2) on 8 and 9 August with live music, meet-and-greets and free goodie bags.
Tips
- Buy first, plan later. The only hard deadline is 10 August. Lock the tickets in, then choose a weekday visit — mid-to-late August afternoons are the calmest Canopy Park gets in the month.
- Pair by ticket type, not by group. Because the free ticket must match, a family of two adults and two children should buy two adult tickets (one free) and two child tickets (one free) — not four of anything.
- If you want everything, price the bundle. Bundle Deals 1–4 are excluded, so if your plan is the full sweep of Canopy Bridge, both mazes and the nets, compare a bundle against two or three separate 1-for-1 pairs before you buy.
- Bring proof of residency. NRIC, or your pass — it can be checked at the gate, not just at checkout.
