Changi Airport has quietly put out one of the broadest National Day deals of the season, and it is the rare one that does not require a plane ticket: 2xGST is back for SG61, running on three long weekends only — 24–26 July, 31 July–2 August and 7–9 August 2026. Changi's own campaign artwork sums it up as "9 days of 9% + 9% sweet savings".
> Quick view: 9% + 9% off, minimum nett spend S$30 on a single receipt, at participating outlets in the public areas of Terminals 1–4. You must be a Changi Rewards member (free) and show your e-card at the till. Jewel is not included.
The nine days
| Window | Dates |
|---|---|
| Weekend 1 | Fri 24 – Sun 26 July 2026 (final day today) |
| Weekend 2 | Fri 31 July – Sun 2 August 2026 |
| Weekend 3 | Fri 7 – Sun 9 August 2026 (National Day weekend) |
If you are reading this on Sunday 26 July, weekend one closes tonight — but the two bigger windows are still ahead, and the last one lands squarely on the National Day long weekend.
How the 9% + 9% works
The first 9% is the GST absorption Changi Rewards members already enjoy on qualifying purchases in the public areas. The second 9% is the promotional discount Changi is layering on for SG61. On a S$100 receipt, that is close to S$18 off.
Three things decide whether you actually get it:
- You must be a registered Changi Rewards member and present your e-card at the point of sale. Signing up is free.
- Minimum S$30 nett spend on a single receipt. "Nett" matters: the S$30 is what remains *after* in-store discounts, ongoing promotions, in-store vouchers, Changi Rewards e-vouchers, Changi Pay e-vouchers and the first 9% member GST absorption have been deducted.
- Public areas of Terminals 1, 2, 3 and 4 only.
Where it applies
This is a public-area promotion, so no boarding pass is needed. Participating outlets span all four terminals:
| Terminal | Participating names include |
|---|---|
| T1 | Cosmetics & Perfumes By Shilla, WH Smith |
| T2 | Bee Cheng Hiang, Cosmetics & Perfumes By Shilla, Eu Yan Sang, Guardian, I LOVE SG, Levure Naturelle, Lynk Fragrances, Tech House, The Cocoa Trees, WH Smith |
| T3 | The biggest list — over 20 outlets, including Chomel, GODIVA, Simply Toys, The Cocoa Trees and Eu Yan Sang |
| T4 | Bakery Cuisine, Bee Cheng Hiang, Choco Express, Cosmetics & Perfumes By Shilla, The Digital Gadgets |
Not included: Jewel Changi Airport, money changing facilities, medical clinics, postal services, pay-per-use lounges, airline lounges and service counters. Check the full outlet list on Changi's promotion page before you go, as participation can change.
The Changi Pay stack
There is a second layer if you pay through Changi Pay with a Mastercard:
| Spend | You get |
|---|---|
| S$60 – S$99.99 | S$5 Changi Pay e-voucher |
| S$100 and above | S$12 Changi Pay e-voucher |
Each shopper can earn up to three vouchers per tier, for a maximum of six across the campaign. Vouchers land in your Changi Pay wallet and expire 30 calendar days after issue — so earn them on the July weekend and spend them on the August ones.
What it is actually good for
The outlet mix tells you where the value is. This is a gifting and stock-up promotion more than a fashion one:
- National Day spread — bak kwa from Bee Cheng Hiang, chocolates from The Cocoa Trees, GODIVA and Choco Express
- Health and tonics — Eu Yan Sang, especially if you are buying for parents or in-laws
- Beauty and pharmacy — Cosmetics & Perfumes By Shilla, Guardian
- Tech and travel bits — Tech House, The Digital Gadgets, WH Smith
Because the threshold is per receipt, the sensible play is to consolidate into one S$30+ bill at a single outlet rather than split S$15 buys across two shops. And if you are already heading to Changi for a meal or to send someone off on the long weekend, the discount is essentially free money on shopping you were going to do anyway.
Fine print worth knowing
- The S$30 is per single receipt, not per day and not cumulative.
- Nett spend is calculated after all other discounts and vouchers, including the first 9%.
- Changi Rewards e-card must be shown at the point of sale — it generally cannot be applied retroactively.
- Changi Pay e-vouchers are Mastercard-only and expire in 30 days.
- Participating outlets and terms are set by Changi Airport Group and may change; confirm on the official 2xGST page before you travel down.
