Singapore turned 61 on Sunday, 9 August 2026, and every SG61 National Day food special on this list has now ended. Swensen's SG-inspired local menu ($18.61 Singapore Laksa Pizza and Jumbo Blue Prawn Hokkien Mee, $61 Family Set for three) was the last to go, on 9 September. The exception worth your time is Permata at Gedung Kuning: its 1-for-1 halal buffet did not end with the National Day menu on 31 August but switched to Flavours of East Coast, still $88++ for two at lunch and $108++ for two at dinner, to 31 October. We re-checked all five brands against their own sites on 3 October, after correcting on 20 September what we had said about Springleaf's halal status. Below: what each one runs now, from Dian Xiao Er's 30% Early Bird to Swensen's weekday Lunch Treat, plus the exact date every SG61 deal stopped.
Every SG61 food special has ended, but one 1-for-1 from this list carries on.

The one deal on this list you can still book, and the strongest value left. Permata is a MUIS halal-certified Nusantara buffet restaurant (registered as Permata Nusantara Cuisine, certificate EERT20230000214) inside the historic Gedung Kuning (Yellow Mansion) at 73 Sultan Gate in Kampong Glam. On 2 September we wrote that its 1-for-1 had ended with the 'Flavours of the Lion City' menu on 31 August. That was wrong: only the menu changed. Permata's own homepage, re-read on 3 October, dates the current 1-for-1 lunch and dinner buffets 1 September to 31 October 2026, at the same prices as the Lion City run and with no credit card needed. Lunch is $88++ for two adults (about $44++ each), Monday to Sunday, 12pm to 2.30pm. Dinner is $108++ for two adults (about $54++ each), Monday to Friday and Sunday, 6pm to 9.30pm, with Saturday dinner split into two seatings, 5pm to 7pm and 7.30pm to 9.30pm, at the same $108++. With 10% service charge and 9% GST that works out to about $105.50 nett for two at lunch and $129.50 at dinner. The 1-for-1 is for adults 18 and above only. Children under 5 eat free, ages 5 to 6 are $10++, ages 7 to 12 are $20++ at lunch and $24++ at dinner, and ages 13 to 17 are $28++ and $34++. Diners over 60 pay $38++ at lunch and $44++ at dinner, which beats the 1-for-1 share if you are going alone. The new menu, Flavours of East Coast, is curated by Chef Mel Dean around Kelantan, Terengganu and Pahang: Kelantan's aromatic specialities, Terengganu's seafood traditions and Pahang's tempoyak dishes.BEST FOR: Muslim diners and mixed groups who want an all-you-can-eat regional spread in a heritage setting.

The National Day Special is gone, and what replaced it on the promotions page is the better offer anyway. Dian Xiao Er's National Day dishes (Stir-Fried Prawns with Silky Egg White at $12.90, Succulent Prawn Glass Vermicelli at $16.90, Three-Cup Abalone with King Oyster Mushrooms at $20.90, all Emerald-tier members' prices) ran to 31 August 2026 and are no longer on the brand's own promotions page, along with the $9.90 Durian DD.Duck Plush Pendant. What is on that page now is the standing Early Bird, in two tiers that most roundups still get wrong. City Square Mall, Downtown East, Great World, Lot One and Parkway Parade give 30% off Monday to Friday, 11am to 12pm and 4.30pm to 6pm. Other outlets give 20% off in those same windows. Every outlet gives 15% off on Saturday and Sunday, 11am to 12pm and 3pm to 4.30pm. It covers dine-in and takeaway on regular-priced a la carte food only, with a 60-minute dining limit, and excludes dessert, beverage, alcohol and miscellaneous items. It does not run on public holidays, eves of public holidays or special occasions, and it cannot be stacked with other promotions, discounts or membership privileges. On a herbal roast duck that is a deeper cut than the National Day menu ever offered. Re-checked on 3 October, both Early Bird posters are still on that page. The Trust card S$8 return voucher that sat beside them in September has gone, replaced by a Citi card offer: 1-for-1 double-boiled soup with a minimum S$90 spend (before service charge and GST), paid with a Citi credit or debit card, 1 January to 31 December 2026, one redemption per bill.BEST FOR: early lunchers and pre-6pm dinners at the five 30% outlets. The last SG61 special to close. From 9 July to 9 September 2026 Swensen's ran an SG-inspired local menu: the Singapore Laksa Pizza (shrimp, fish cake, tau pok, egg and laksa leaf on mozzarella, 11 inch) and the Jumbo Blue Prawn Hokkien Mee at $18.61 each, a Shiok Fish Burger at $16.61, Chilli Crab Soup with Mantou at $11.61, a Muah Chee Waffle with Ice Cream at $10.61, a MILO Bandung at $5 and a dine-in SG61 Family Set for three at $61. Re-checked on 3 October, the National Day Special is gone from Swensen's promotions page; the old menu page still loads but prints no prices. WHAT IS ON NOW, read off Swensen's own promotion pages on 3 October: the Lunch Treat gives a free side, sundae or drink with each main dish, Monday to Friday 11am to 2pm, dine-in, at all outlets except Swensen's Unlimited and Earle Swensen's. The Senior Special is 1-for-1 across mains and sundaes for diners aged 60 and above, weekdays 2.30pm to 4.30pm, with the lower-priced item free and one redemption per senior. The Weekday Student Meal is a main plus a soft drink or soup of the day from $8.80, Monday to Friday 11am to 4.30pm, with a student pass. Good news and bad news, in that order. The Prata Smash Burger joined Springleaf's Ultimate Series on 9 August 2026 and is a permanent menu item at $8.90: crispy pan-fried prata instead of burger buns, a smashed beef patty, double cheese, tomato, lettuce, white onion and Springleaf's signature Smash Sauce. That part is still true in September. The bad news is the National Day sweetener. From 9 to 31 August 2026 every Prata Smash Burger came with a FREE hot teh tarik at all outlets except Tang Plaza, and that promotion has now ended, so budget for the drink. The earlier 'Back In My Days' SG61 throwback campaign is long finished too: it ran 1 July to 4 August with a different item each week, the widely-shared $0.61 plain prata was 15 to 21 July only, and the final Mini Ultimate Murtabak at $6.10 ran 29 July to 4 August. The regular menu carries on as usual, with 60-plus prata flavours and the $9.90 prata buffet at selected outlets, which is now the better-value reason to go.BEST FOR: prata lovers who want the newest thing on the menu, and late-night eaters. A correction: an earlier version of this article said Springleaf's prata kitchen was not halal-certified. It is. MUIS's own halal register, checked on 20 September, returns 14 live Springleaf Prata Place certificates: 12 restaurants, the Tang Plaza hawker stall (EEHK26010000115) and the Mandai Foodlink central kitchen (FPGX21060001555).

Check the app before you make a trip for this one. Guzman y Gomez brought back its fan-favourite Butter Chicken filling on 21 July 2026, a blend of tomato, butter and traditional Indian spices with flame-grilled Guerrero chicken, made with local partner Copper Chimney Singapore. It was offered across burritos, bowls, tacos, quesadillas and nachos at no surcharge, with a side of Butter Chicken sauce at $1.50, and it is not served during breakfast hours. GYG never published an end date and has posted no removal notice, but it is also not itemised in the Fillings section of the brand's own menu page at gyg.com.sg/our-food, re-read on 3 October, and it has been more than two months, so we are not going to promise it is still there. Both SG61 offers are definitely finished: the GrabFood-exclusive bundle of five Butter Chicken mains for $61 ran 31 July to 10 August 2026 per GYG's own newsroom post, and the six days of $6.10 app treats for GOMEX members ran 7 to 12 August. Outlets islandwide including Suntec, Jewel, Nex and VivoCity, with Northpoint reopened on 24 August.BEST FOR: GYG regulars who want the filling and are willing to check first. Every status above was read off the brand's own website, promotions page or menu page on 3 October 2026 (halal status against MUIS's official register on 20 September), not lifted from other roundups. Swensen's promotions page no longer carries its National Day Special, and its Lunch Treat, Senior Special, Student Meal and Sizzling Cheese Burger pages were read for the terms and prices. Permata's homepage prints the 1-for-1 lunch and dinner rates, the seatings and the child and senior tiers, dated 1 September to 31 October 2026. Dian Xiao Er's promotions page still carries both Early Bird posters, now next to a Citi card 1-for-1 double-boiled soup offer (min. S$90 spend, to 31 December 2026). Guzman y Gomez's menu page at gyg.com.sg/our-food still does not list Butter Chicken in its Fillings section. Halal status for all five was checked against MUIS's own register rather than third-party halal directories.
Two corrections. On 2 September we wrote that Permata's 1-for-1 had ended on 31 August and that its prices were not published online. Both were wrong. The 31 August date belonged to the 'Flavours of the Lion City' menu, not the discount, and the homepage lists the rates in full. The prices did not change between the two menus. Separately, until 20 September this article said Springleaf Prata Place was not halal-certified. That was wrong, and it is the more serious of the two errors. MUIS's register lists 14 live Springleaf certificates.
This is the part worth keeping, because these deals are still being quoted as live on other sites.
Three of these are worth planning a meal around now, and only Permata's has an end date.
A note on halal, checked against MUIS's own register on 20 September rather than third-party halal listings. Three of the five are certified: Permata (as Permata Nusantara Cuisine, EERT20230000214), Springleaf Prata Place (14 certificates, covering 12 restaurants, the Tang Plaza hawker stall and the Mandai Foodlink central kitchen) and Swensen's (29 certificates, covering 27 Swensen's, one Earle Swensen's and the central kitchen). Two are not: the register returns nothing for Dian Xiao Er, which serves duck and pork, or for Guzman y Gomez. Certification is granted per premises and can change, so check the outlet's displayed certificate rather than assuming.
Promos, prices and end dates change and can be outlet-specific, so always confirm the current offer and terms on each brand's official channels before you head down.

It is an SG61 pun. Singapore celebrated its 61st birthday in 2026, so brands themed their promotions around the number 61. Swensen's priced its local-inspired mains at $18.61 and a family set at $61, Tonkatsu ENbiton and Tamago-EN gave a free item with a minimum $61 spend, and Dian Xiao Er ran a 61%-off members' sale on its DD.duck merchandise. Some brands ran 61%-off challenges too. It is a marketing device rather than a fixed discount, so it is always worth checking whether the SG61 price is genuinely lower than the usual a la carte price. For the novelty items, such as a laksa pizza, the value is in the one-off experience as much as the price. Prices exclude the usual 10% service charge and 9% GST unless marked nett.
National Day 2027 falls on Monday 9 August 2027, Singapore's 62nd, so expect brands to badge their offers SG62. This year's timing is the useful guide. Springleaf's SG61 throwback prices started on 1 July and Swensen's SG61 menu on 9 July, a month before the day. Most offers ran through the whole of August and stopped on 31 August rather than the day after the parade, and the longest ran to 9 September. So watch each promotion's own end date, not the holiday. Singapore's 61st National Day fell on Sunday 9 August 2026, with Monday 10 August the holiday in lieu.
