SG61 National Day Food Deals 2026: What Is Still Live in September, and What Ended on 31 August (Swensen's $18.61 Laksa Pizza, Springleaf Smash Burger, Pizza Maru Salted Egg)

Singapore turned 61 on 9 August 2026, and the SG61 food campaign has now largely wound down. We re-checked all 7 of our SG61 National Day food specials on 2 September against each brand's own site or live ordering menu. Only one is still claimable: Swensen's SG61 menu, with the Singapore Laksa Pizza and Jumbo Blue Prawn Hokkien Mee at $18.61 each and a $61 Family Set for three, running to 9 September 2026. Five ended on 31 August: Springleaf Prata Place's $8.90 Prata Smash Burger with a free hot teh tarik, Pizza Maru's Chilli Crab and Salted Egg New Menu Special, the $61-spend freebies at Tonkatsu ENbiton and Tamago-EN, and Dian Xiao Er's three new dishes with the MerDuck keychain. Guzman y Gomez's Butter Chicken filling has no announced end date, so it is available-until-withdrawn. Below: what each brand runs now instead, plus the full record of the SG61 offers that have closed, including the $0.61 throwback prata and the Changi T2 cheese-pull challenge.

SG61 has wound down. Of the 7 National Day 2026 food specials we tracked, one is still claimable, five closed on 31 August, and one has no announced end date. Re-checked on 2 September against each brand's own site or live ordering menu.

> Quick view: still live is Swensen's SG61 menu, $18.61 Singapore Laksa Pizza and Jumbo Blue Prawn Hokkien Mee, to 9 September. Ended 31 Aug: Springleaf, Pizza Maru, Tonkatsu ENbiton, Tamago-EN, Dian Xiao Er. The catch: Swensen's own page no longer prints the prices, so confirm in-store.

Swensen's: Singapore Laksa Pizza & Jumbo Blue Prawn Hokkien Mee at $18.61 + $61 Family Set (Still Live to 9 Sep)

Swensen's: Singapore Laksa Pizza & Jumbo Blue Prawn Hokkien Mee at $18.61 + $61 Family Set (Still Live to 9 Sep)

The only SG61 special on this list still running. Swensen's leans right into the number 61: its SG61 menu features a Singapore Laksa Pizza (laksa-spiced with prawns, fish cake, tau pok, egg and laksa leaf on mozzarella) and a Jumbo Blue Prawn Hokkien Mee at $18.61 each, plus a Shiok Fish Burger at $16.61, a Chilli Crab Soup with Mantou at $11.61, a Muah Chee Waffle with Ice Cream at $10.61 and a MILO Bandung at $5. The $61 SG61 Family Set Meal is dine-in only and sized for three: a Shiok Fish Burger, two mains of your choice, three MILO Bandung drinks and the muah chee waffle dessert. It runs 9 July to 9 September 2026 at outlets islandwide. Checked on 2 September, the SG61 National Day Special was still listed on Swensen's promotions page and its dedicated menu page was still live, though that page now says only "available for a limited time period" and no longer prints prices or the family set, so confirm both in-store. BEST FOR: families and groups who want SG-flavoured mains with the value of a set, at a casual sit-down everyone knows.

SG61 menu: Singapore Laksa Pizza & Jumbo Blue Prawn Hokkien Mee at $18.61 each, Muah Chee Waffle $10.61, plus a $61 Family Set Meal for 3 (dine-in only), 9 Jul to 9 Sep 2026. Still listed on Swensen's promotions page on 2 Sep, though the menu page no longer prints prices.

Pizza Maru: Salted Egg Chicago Pizza & Chilli Crab Pasta (New Menu Special Ended 31 Aug)

The salted-egg pick on this list, and it has now closed. Korean pizza chain Pizza Maru brought back its cult Salted Egg Chicago Pizza for National Day, and its New Menu Special ran 1 to 31 August 2026, rolling the Changi Airport Terminal 2 flavours out to other outlets islandwide (excluding Pizza Maru Express): a very Singaporean Chilli Crab Pasta ($13.90), a matching Chilli Crab Risotto, and Salted Egg Fried Chicken (from $23.90), with the Salted Egg Chicago Pizza at $27.90. That window has passed. Checked on 2 September on Pizza Maru's own ordering site, none of those four items appear on the live menu: the Chicago section lists only Real Chicago and Real BBQ Chicago at $32.30, and there is no salted egg or chilli crab item in the pasta, risotto or fried chicken sections. The headline cheese-pull challenge (50cm for 10% off, 90cm for 20% off, 120cm+ for 61% off) ran on 8 and 9 August at the T2 outlet only and is also over. WHAT IS ON NOW: the regular Korean menu, including Kimchi Buldak and Taco Party pizzas and the Korean fried chicken range. Some deal listings still show the salted egg items, so check the ordering site before you make the trip.

The New Menu Special (Chilli Crab Pasta $13.90, Chilli Crab Risotto, Salted Egg Fried Chicken from $23.90, Salted Egg Chicago Pizza $27.90) ran 1 to 31 Aug 2026 and has ended. Checked 2 Sep: none of those items appear on Pizza Maru's live ordering menu, where Chicago pizzas are Real Chicago and Real BBQ Chicago at $32.30. The 8 to 9 Aug cheese-pull challenge is also over.

Springleaf Prata Place: Prata Smash Burger $8.90 With Free Hot Teh Tarik (Ended 31 Aug)

The SG61 deal that replaced itself once, and has now lapsed entirely. Springleaf's "SG61 Ultimate Series" addition landed on 9 August: the Prata Smash Burger, which swaps burger buns for two pieces of crispy pan-fried prata around a smashed beef patty, double cheese, tomato, lettuce, white onion and Springleaf's signature Smash Sauce. It was $8.90, and every one bought came with a free hot teh tarik from 9 to 31 August 2026, dine-in at all outlets except Tang Plaza. That free drink offer has ended. If you came here for the viral prata prices, the earlier "Back In My Days" throwback campaign closed even earlier: it ran 1 July to 4 August 2026 (61 days), one item a week, Plaster Blaster $2.73 (1 to 7 Jul), Prata Goreng $2.34 (8 to 14 Jul), plain prata $0.61 and egg prata $0.99 (15 to 21 Jul), Chicken Floss Prata $2.46 from $6.30 (22 to 28 Jul), Mini Ultimate Murtabak $6.10 from $10.90 (29 Jul to 4 Aug). The much-shared $0.61 plain prata was week three only and did not return. WHAT IS ON NOW: Springleaf has not published a replacement National Day offer on spplace.com, which serves its catering arm rather than restaurant promotions, so its consumer deals appear on its social channels instead.

The Prata Smash Burger's free hot teh tarik ran 9 to 31 Aug 2026 and has ended, as did the "Back In My Days" throwback prices (incl. the $0.61 plain prata) on 4 Aug. Springleaf has not published a replacement National Day offer on its website, which serves its catering arm; consumer deals appear on its social channels.

Tonkatsu ENbiton: Free Truffle Fries With Min $61 Spend (Ended 31 Aug)

A neat number-61 freebie for tonkatsu fans, now closed. At Tonkatsu ENbiton, spending a minimum of $61 in a single receipt earned a complimentary portion of Truffle Fries, redeemable all day on dine-in, from 13 July to 31 August 2026. Checked on 2 September, that offer is gone from ENbiton's own promotions page. WHAT IS ON NOW: the page lists an all-day Happy Hour on drinks with a minimum order of two glasses, the Thick Cut Katsu series, a Value XL Katsu Don at the Changi City Point and Suntec City outlets only, and corporate bento orders. One caveat worth knowing: the Value XL Katsu Don poster still on that page carries a "till 31 August 2025" line in its terms, so treat its prices as undated and confirm at the outlet. Its sister brand Tamago-EN ran the matching $61-spend freebie below, and that has ended too.

The free Truffle Fries with a minimum $61 spend ran 13 Jul to 31 Aug 2026 and has ended. Checked 2 Sep: it is no longer on ENbiton's promotions page, which now carries an all-day Happy Hour (min 2 glasses), the Thick Cut Katsu series and a Value XL Katsu Don at Changi City Point and Suntec City only.

Tamago-EN: Free Souffle Pancake With Min $61 Spend (Ended 31 Aug; Tea Time Specials From $6.90++ Instead)

The sweet counterpart to Tonkatsu ENbiton's deal, and it has ended on the same date. At Tamago-EN, the egg-focused Japanese restaurant known for its tamago dishes and jiggly desserts, spending a minimum of $61 in a single receipt earned a complimentary Souffle Pancake, all day on dine-in, from 13 July to 31 August 2026. Checked on 2 September, it is gone from Tamago-EN's promotions page. WHAT IS ON NOW, and arguably better if the pancake was the point: Tea Time Specials, from $6.90++, available daily from 2.30pm to 6pm, dine-in only, pairing one dessert with one drink. The dessert choices are Strawberry Tofu Cheesecake, Berry Homemade Egg Pudding or Black Sesame Panna Cotta, with Souffle Pancake versions from $12.90++ (Creme Brulee, Tiramisu or Oreo add $1). Drinks run from hot Roselle Tea and Yuzu Fruit Tea through Cafe Latte (iced +$0.50) and Frothy Egg Brew (+$1). Prices are subject to service charge and prevailing GST. The page also lists weekday Student Meals from 2pm to 5.30pm, excluding public holidays and their eves.

The free Souffle Pancake with a minimum $61 spend ran 13 Jul to 31 Aug 2026 and has ended. Checked 2 Sep: the page now lists Tea Time Specials from $6.90++ daily 2.30pm to 6pm (dine-in, one dessert plus one drink; souffle pancake versions from $12.90++, before service charge and GST) and weekday Student Meals 2pm to 5.30pm.

Dian Xiao Er: 3 New Dishes + Free MerDuck Keychain (Ended 31 Aug; Early Bird Is Now Up To 30% Off)

A festive spin from the herbal-roast-duck specialist, now closed. For SG61, Dian Xiao Er launched three new dishes, and its own National Day poster priced all three at two tiers, because the headline figure was the Emerald members' price rather than what a walk-in paid: Succulent Prawn Glass Vermicelli $16.90 for members (U.P. $19.90), Three-Cup Abalone with King Oyster Mushrooms $20.90 (U.P. $23.90) and Stir-Fried Prawns with Silky Egg White $12.90 (U.P. $15.90), a flat $3 a dish, against a $9.90 Emerald membership. Ordering any signature herbal roast duck dish earned a free limited-edition SG61 MerDuck keychain while stocks last, and any National Day Special dish unlocked the Durian DD.Duck plush pendant at $9.90 instead of $15.90. It ran 28 July to 31 August 2026 and has ended; checked on 2 September, none of it remains on Dian Xiao Er's promotions page. WHAT IS ON NOW, and it is worth more than the SG61 menu was: the standing Early Bird promo has a 30% tier we previously listed at 20%. It is up to 30% off regular-priced a la carte food Mon to Fri, 11am to 12pm and 4.30pm to 6pm, exclusively at City Square Mall, Downtown East, Great World, Lot One and Parkway Parade; up to 20% in the same windows at other outlets; and 15% Sat and Sun, 11am to 12pm and 3pm to 4.30pm. There is a 60-minute dining limit, it covers dine-in and takeaway, and it excludes dessert, beverage, alcohol and miscellaneous items, public holidays and their eves, and any other promotion or membership privilege. Paying with a Trust card no longer takes $1 off: the current Trust offer is an S$8 return voucher with any spend, dine-in only, no bill splitting, redeemable on a later purchase with a minimum S$60 subtotal before GST and service charge. BEST FOR: families out for a heartier zi-char-style dinner who can shift the booking to an early-bird window.

The 3 SG61 dishes and the free MerDuck keychain ran 28 Jul to 31 Aug 2026 and have ended. Checked 2 Sep, the standing offers are: Early Bird up to 30% off a la carte food Mon to Fri (11am to 12pm, 4.30pm to 6pm) at City Square Mall, Downtown East, Great World, Lot One and Parkway Parade, up to 20% elsewhere, 15% Sat and Sun (11am to 12pm, 3pm to 4.30pm), 60-minute dining limit, dine-in and takeaway; plus a Trust S$8 return voucher with any spend (dine-in, min S$60 subtotal to redeem on a later visit).

Guzman y Gomez (GYG): Butter Chicken Filling Is Back, With No Announced End Date

For the Mexican-food crowd, GYG marked the National Day season by bringing back its fan-favourite Butter Chicken filling on 21 July: a blend of tomato, butter and traditional Indian spices with flame-grilled Guerrero chicken, developed with local partner Copper Chimney Singapore, built into a burrito, bowl, quesadilla, tacos or nachos. It carries no surcharge (the $3 Taco is excluded), and a side of Butter Chicken sauce for your Chipotle-seasoned or Nacho Fries is $1.50. GYG has only ever called it "a limited time" and has published no end date. Checked on 2 September, GYG's newsroom has posted nothing further about it since the 6 August announcement, and its newest post is a 24 August Northpoint re-opening, so treat the filling as available-until-withdrawn rather than guaranteed. Both SG61 tie-ins are done: the GrabFood-exclusive bundle of 5 Regular Butter Chicken Mains for $61 (Regular Burrito, Burrito Bowl or Nacho Fries, no customisation) ran 31 July to 10 August 2026, and the first National Day Advent Calendar, six daily GOMEX-member offers in the app including selected mains at $6.10, ran 7 to 12 August 2026. BEST FOR: GYG regulars who want the Butter Chicken while it lasts. Go for the filling itself now, not the app or delivery deals, which have closed.

Butter Chicken filling is back (from 21 Jul) at all restaurants, the GYG app, delivery and catering, at no surcharge; sauce on the side $1.50. Limited time, no end date announced, and nothing further posted as of 2 Sep. The GrabFood 5-mains-for-$61 bundle (31 Jul to 10 Aug) and the app Advent Calendar of $6.10 daily offers (7 to 12 Aug) have both ended.

What does SG61 mean?

If you have been seeing "SG61" on menus and shopfronts and wondering what it stands for, it is shorthand for Singapore's 61st year of independence. Singapore declared independence on 9 August 1965, so National Day on 9 August 2026 marked 61 years, the same way SG60 marked 60 and SG50 marked the golden jubilee.

That is also why the number 61 kept turning up in the prices above. Brands pegged their National Day offers to it: $18.61 mains at Swensen's, 61% off at Pizza Maru and Springleaf, $61 minimum-spend freebies at the EN Group restaurants, and $6.10 app deals at GYG. So when a listing says "SG61 deals" or "SG61 promo", it simply means a National Day 2026 offer.

Springleaf Prata Place National Day promotion 2026: the full record

Springleaf is the entry people still search for, so it is worth being precise about what ran and when. Both halves of its SG61 campaign are now over.

Ended 31 August 2026: the Prata Smash Burger at $8.90, the "SG61 Ultimate Series" item launched on 9 August, which replaced the burger bun with two pieces of crispy pan-fried prata around a smashed beef patty, double cheese, tomato, lettuce, white onion and the chain's Smash Sauce. Every one bought came with a free hot teh tarik from 9 to 31 August 2026, dine-in at all outlets except Tang Plaza. That free drink offer has now lapsed.

Ended 4 August 2026: the "Back In My Days" throwback campaign, which ran 1 July to 4 August 2026 (61 days) with a different item each week. This is the one that went viral, because of the 61-cent plain prata, but it was week three only and none of these prices are available any more:

WeekItemPriceStatus
1-7 JulPlaster Blaster$2.73 (U.P. $7.00)Ended
8-14 JulPrata Goreng$2.34 (U.P. $6.00)Ended

22-28 JulChicken Floss Prata$2.46 (U.P. $6.30)Ended
29 Jul-4 AugMini Ultimate Murtabak$6.10 (U.P. $10.90)Ended

So if you came looking for 61-cent prata, you have missed it and it was not extended. Springleaf has not published a replacement National Day offer on its website, which now serves its catering arm rather than restaurant promotions, so its consumer deals surface on its social channels instead.

What each brand runs now instead

Five of the SG61 offers lapsed on 31 August. Here is what replaced them on each brand's own promotions page, checked 2 September 2026:

How to read a National Day promotion once the season is over

  • Check the brand's ordering menu, not the write-up. Pizza Maru's salted egg and chilli crab items were still being listed on deal blogs in September, but they were gone from Pizza Maru's own ordering site on 2 September. The live menu is the only reliable test.
  • A campaign page outliving the campaign proves nothing. Springleaf's throwback prices and the EN Group $61 freebies were pulled from their promotions pages once they lapsed, which is the useful signal. Some brands leave stale posters up instead: Tonkatsu ENbiton's Value XL Katsu Don poster still carries a "till 31 August 2025" line.
  • Standing promos often beat the seasonal one. Dian Xiao Er's Early Bird takes up to 30% off à la carte food at five outlets, worth more on a family bill than the $3-a-dish SG61 member price ever was.
  • Watch which card offer is current. Dian Xiao Er's SG61 poster carried $1 off with a Trust card; the standing Trust offer today is an S$8 return voucher on a later visit, with a minimum spend to redeem it.
  • Confirm before you go. Mechanics, participating outlets and prices are set by each brand and can change without notice.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which SG61 National Day food deals are still available in September 2026?

One of the seven. Swensen's SG61 National Day Special still runs to 9 September 2026: a Singapore Laksa Pizza and a Jumbo Blue Prawn Hokkien Mee at $18.61 each, a Shiok Fish Burger at $16.61, a Chilli Crab Soup with Mantou at $11.61, a Muah Chee Waffle at $10.61, a MILO Bandung at $5, and a $61 Family Set Meal for three, dine-in only, at outlets islandwide. Checked on 2 September, it was still listed on Swensen's promotions page, though the menu page now says only "available for a limited time period" and no longer prints prices, so confirm in-store. Guzman y Gomez's Butter Chicken filling also has no announced end date, so it may still be available. Everything else on this list, at Springleaf Prata Place, Pizza Maru, Tonkatsu ENbiton, Tamago-EN and Dian Xiao Er, ended on 31 August 2026.

Is the Pizza Maru salted egg and chilli crab menu still on?

No. Pizza Maru's New Menu Special ran 1 to 31 August 2026 and has ended. Checked on 2 September on Pizza Maru's own ordering site, the Chilli Crab Pasta ($13.90), Chilli Crab Risotto, Salted Egg Fried Chicken (from $23.90) and Salted Egg Chicago Pizza ($27.90) are all absent from the live menu: the Chicago section lists only Real Chicago and Real BBQ Chicago at $32.30. The National Day cheese-pull challenge is also over. It ran on 8 and 9 August 2026 only, at the Changi Airport Terminal 2 outlet only, and the mechanic was to order the Salted Egg Chicago Pizza and stretch the cheese, with a 50cm pull earning 10% off, 90cm earning 20% off, and at least 120cm earning 61% off the pizza. Some deal listings still show these items, so check the ordering site before making the trip.

Can I still get the $0.61 prata at Springleaf?

No, and it was not extended. The 61-cent plain prata was week three of Springleaf Prata Place's "Back In My Days" throwback campaign, which ran 1 July to 4 August 2026 across 61 days with a different item each week. The 61-cent plain prata and the $0.99 egg prata were available 15 to 21 July 2026 only. The rest of the run was Plaster Blaster $2.73 (1 to 7 Jul), Prata Goreng $2.34 (8 to 14 Jul), Chicken Floss Prata $2.46 from $6.30 (22 to 28 Jul) and Mini Ultimate Murtabak $6.10 from $10.90 (29 Jul to 4 Aug). The follow-up SG61 offer, a free hot teh tarik with the $8.90 Prata Smash Burger, ran 9 to 31 August 2026 and has also ended. Springleaf has not published a replacement National Day offer on its website, which serves its catering arm, so watch its social channels instead.

What is Dian Xiao Er's Early Bird promotion now, and is it better than the SG61 menu was?

On a family bill, yes. Dian Xiao Er's SG61 offer took a flat $3 off each of three new dishes, and only at the Emerald members' price, against a $9.90 membership fee. That ended on 31 August 2026. The standing Early Bird promo now takes a percentage off the whole a la carte food order, and it has a 30% tier: up to 30% off Monday to Friday, ordering 11am to 12pm or 4.30pm to 6pm, exclusively at City Square Mall, Downtown East, Great World, Lot One and Parkway Parade. Other outlets get up to 20% in the same windows, and weekends are 15% Saturday and Sunday, 11am to 12pm or 3pm to 4.30pm. There is a 60-minute dining limit, it is valid for dine-in and takeaway on regular-priced a la carte food only, and it excludes dessert, beverage, alcohol and miscellaneous items, public holidays and their eves, and any other promotion, discount or membership privilege. Separately, paying with a Trust card no longer takes $1 off: the current offer is an S$8 return voucher with any spend, dine-in only, redeemable on a later purchase with a minimum S$60 subtotal before GST and service charge.

What does SG61 mean?

SG61 is shorthand for Singapore's 61st year of independence. The country declared independence on 9 August 1965, so National Day on 9 August 2026 marked 61 years. Brands use the SG61 tag the same way they used SG60, SG59 and so on, and it is why so many National Day promotions were built around the number 61: $18.61 mains at Swensen's, 61% off at Pizza Maru and Springleaf, $61 minimum-spend freebies at Tonkatsu ENbiton and Tamago-EN, and $6.10 app deals at GYG. If you see "SG61 deals" or "SG61 promo" in a listing, it means a National Day 2026 offer, and by September most of those windows have closed.

When did each SG61 food deal end?

Singapore's 61st National Day fell on Sunday 9 August 2026, with Monday 10 August observed as the public holiday, and the offers ran on very different timelines. The earliest to close was Springleaf Prata Place's "Back In My Days" throwback campaign on 4 August. Pizza Maru's cheese-pull challenge ran on 8 and 9 August only. Guzman y Gomez's GrabFood bundle of 5 Butter Chicken mains for $61 ran 31 July to 10 August, and its app Advent Calendar 7 to 12 August. Then five closed together on 31 August 2026: Springleaf's Prata Smash Burger free teh tarik, Pizza Maru's New Menu Special, the $61-spend freebies at Tonkatsu ENbiton and Tamago-EN, and Dian Xiao Er's three new dishes with the MerDuck keychain. Swensen's SG61 menu runs longest, to 9 September 2026. GYG's Butter Chicken filling has no announced end date.
