Singapore turned 61 on 9 August 2026, and every SG61 National Day food special on this list has now closed. The last one standing, Swensen's SG61 menu ($18.61 Singapore Laksa Pizza and Jumbo Blue Prawn Hokkien Mee, $61 Family Set for three), ran to 9 September and has been taken off Swensen's promotions page. Five others ended on 31 August: Springleaf Prata Place's free teh tarik with the $8.90 Prata Smash Burger, Pizza Maru's Chilli Crab and Salted Egg New Menu Special, the $61-spend freebies at Tonkatsu ENbiton and Tamago-EN, and Dian Xiao Er's three new dishes with the MerDuck keychain. Guzman y Gomez's Butter Chicken filling never had an end date, but it no longer appears on GYG's menu page. We re-checked all seven on 21 October against each brand's own site or ordering menu. Swensen's leaned right into the number 61: its SG61 menu had a Singapore Laksa Pizza (laksa-spiced with prawns, fish cake, tau pok, egg and laksa leaf on mozzarella) and a Jumbo Blue Prawn Hokkien Mee at $18.61 each, plus a Shiok Fish Burger at $16.61, a Chilli Crab Soup with Mantou at $11.61, a Muah Chee Waffle with Ice Cream at $10.61, a MILO Bandung at $5 and a dine-in $61 Family Set Meal for three. It ran 9 July to 9 September 2026. Re-checked on 21 October, it is gone from Swensen's promotions page and homepage; the old menu page still loads but only says "available for a limited time period", with no prices. WHAT IS ON NOW, per Swensen's own promotion pages: the Lunch Treat, where any main dish ordered Monday to Friday from 11am to 2pm earns a free side, sundae or drink (dine-in, one treat per main, not at Swensen's Unlimited or Earle Swensen's, and excluding public holidays, their eves and special occasions such as Teachers' Day and Children's Day). The Senior Special is 1-for-1 across mains and sundaes for diners aged 60 and above, weekdays 2.30pm to 4.30pm, with the cheaper item free and one redemption per senior. There is also a Weekday Student Meal from $8.80 (one main plus a soft drink or soup, Monday to Friday 11am to 4.30pm, student pass required) and the new Sizzling Cheese Burgers, dine-in at $19.90 for the original, $20.90 for Brown Pepper and $21.90 for Mushroom. The salted-egg pick on this list, and it has now closed. Korean pizza chain Pizza Maru brought back its cult Salted Egg Chicago Pizza for National Day, and its New Menu Special ran 1 to 31 August 2026, rolling the Changi Airport Terminal 2 flavours out to other outlets islandwide (excluding Pizza Maru Express): a very Singaporean Chilli Crab Pasta ($13.90), a matching Chilli Crab Risotto, and Salted Egg Fried Chicken (from $23.90), with the Salted Egg Chicago Pizza at $27.90. That window has passed. Re-checked on 21 October on Pizza Maru's own ordering site, none of those four items appear on the live menu: the Chicago section lists only Real Chicago and Real BBQ Chicago at $32.30, and there is no salted egg or chilli crab item in the pasta, risotto or fried chicken sections. The headline cheese-pull challenge (50cm for 10% off, 90cm for 20% off, 120cm+ for 61% off) ran on 8 and 9 August at the T2 outlet only and is also over.WHAT IS ON NOW: the regular Korean menu, including the Kimchi Buldak, the new Kimchi Beef Bulgogi and Taco Party pizzas and the Korean fried chicken range. The standing value sits in the combo sets, every one of them 20% off list price on Pizza Maru's own ordering site: the Maru Duo Set for two is $32.72 (U.P. $40.90), the Chicken Party Combo $38.24 (U.P. $47.80) and the Maru Party Set for six to seven $90.88 (U.P. $113.60). The catch is delivery, which needs a $50 minimum order plus a $12 delivery fee, so a two-person order is much cheaper collected. Some deal listings still show the salted egg items, so check the ordering site before you make the trip.
The New Menu Special (Chilli Crab Pasta $13.90, Chilli Crab Risotto, Salted Egg Fried Chicken from $23.90, Salted Egg Chicago Pizza $27.90) ran 1 to 31 Aug 2026 and has ended. Re-checked 21 Oct: none of those items appear on Pizza Maru's live ordering menu, where Chicago pizzas are Real Chicago and Real BBQ Chicago at $32.30. The 8 to 9 Aug cheese-pull challenge is also over. Standing value: every combo set is 20% off on Pizza Maru's ordering site (Maru Duo Set for 2 $32.72, U.P. $40.90; Maru Party Set for 6 to 7 $90.88, U.P. $113.60). Delivery needs a $50 minimum order plus a $12 fee.
The SG61 deal that replaced itself once, and has now lapsed entirely. Springleaf's "SG61 Ultimate Series" addition landed on 9 August: the Prata Smash Burger, which swaps burger buns for two pieces of crispy pan-fried prata around a smashed beef patty, double cheese, tomato, lettuce, white onion and Springleaf's signature Smash Sauce. It was $8.90, and every one bought came with a free hot teh tarik from 9 to 31 August 2026, dine-in at all outlets except Tang Plaza. That free drink offer has ended. If you came here for the viral prata prices, the earlier "Back In My Days" throwback campaign closed even earlier: it ran 1 July to 4 August 2026 (61 days), one item a week, Plaster Blaster $2.73 (1 to 7 Jul), Prata Goreng $2.34 (8 to 14 Jul), plain prata $0.61 and egg prata $0.99 (15 to 21 Jul), Chicken Floss Prata $2.46 from $6.30 (22 to 28 Jul), Mini Ultimate Murtabak $6.10 from $10.90 (29 Jul to 4 Aug). At Tonkatsu ENbiton, spending a minimum of $61 in a single receipt earned a complimentary portion of Truffle Fries, redeemable all day on dine-in, from 13 July to 31 August 2026. Checked on 2, 11 and 21 October and again on 21 October, that offer is gone from ENbiton's own promotions page.WHAT IS ON NOW: the page lists an all-day Happy Hour on drinks with a minimum order of two glasses, the Thick Cut Katsu series, a Value XL Katsu Don now at the Changi City Point outlet only (Suntec City no longer appears on ENbiton's outlet list, which names Causeway Point, Changi City Point, Jem and VivoCity), and corporate bento orders. One caveat worth knowing: the Value XL Katsu Don poster still on that page carries a "till 31 August 2025" line in its terms, so treat its prices as undated and confirm at the outlet. The sweet counterpart to Tonkatsu ENbiton's deal, and it has ended on the same date. At Tamago-EN, the egg-focused Japanese restaurant known for its tamago dishes and jiggly desserts, spending a minimum of $61 in a single receipt earned a complimentary Souffle Pancake, all day on dine-in, from 13 July to 31 August 2026. Re-checked on 21 October, it is gone from Tamago-EN's promotions page. WHAT IS ON NOW, and arguably better if the pancake was the point: Tea Time Specials, from $6.90++, available daily from 2.30pm to 6pm, dine-in only, pairing one dessert with one drink. The dessert choices are Strawberry Tofu Cheesecake, Berry Homemade Egg Pudding or Black Sesame Panna Cotta, with Souffle Pancake versions from $12.90++ (Creme Brulee, Tiramisu or Oreo add $1). Drinks run from hot Roselle Tea and Yuzu Fruit Tea through Cafe Latte (iced +$0.50) and Frothy Egg Brew (+$1). Prices are subject to service charge and prevailing GST. A festive spin from the herbal-roast-duck specialist, now closed. For SG61, Dian Xiao Er launched three new dishes, and its own National Day poster priced all three at two tiers, because the headline figure was the Emerald members' price rather than what a walk-in paid: Succulent Prawn Glass Vermicelli $16.90 for members (U.P. $19.90), Three-Cup Abalone with King Oyster Mushrooms $20.90 (U.P. $23.90) and Stir-Fried Prawns with Silky Egg White $12.90 (U.P. $15.90), a flat $3 a dish, against a $9.90 Emerald membership. Ordering any signature herbal roast duck dish earned a free limited-edition SG61 MerDuck keychain while stocks last, and any National Day Special dish unlocked the Durian DD.Duck plush pendant at $9.90 instead of $15.90. It ran 28 July to 31 August 2026 and has ended; re-checked on 21 October, none of it remains on Dian Xiao Er's promotions page. For the Mexican-food crowd, GYG marked the National Day season by bringing back its fan-favourite Butter Chicken filling on 21 July: a blend of tomato, butter and traditional Indian spices with flame-grilled Guerrero chicken, developed with local partner Copper Chimney Singapore, built into a burrito, bowl, quesadilla, tacos or nachos. It carries no surcharge (the $3 Taco is excluded), and a side of Butter Chicken sauce for your Chipotle-seasoned or Nacho Fries is $1.50. GYG has only ever called it "a limited time" and has published no end date. Re-checked on 21 October, Butter Chicken does not appear anywhere on GYG's Our Food menu page, which lists seven fillings and none of them is Butter Chicken: grilled chicken, grilled steak, ground beef, pan-seared barramundi, pulled pork, pulled shiitake, and sauteed vegetables with guacamole. The family set was a Shiok Fish Burger, two mains of your choice, three MILO Bandung drinks and the muah chee waffle. It ended on 9 September. By 21 October it was off Swensen's promotions page, although the old menu page still loads without prices.
If you have been seeing "SG61" on menus and shopfronts and wondering what it stands for, it is shorthand for Singapore's 61st year of independence. Singapore declared independence on 9 August 1965, so National Day on 9 August 2026 marked 61 years, the same way SG60 marked 60 and SG50 marked the golden jubilee.
That is also why the number 61 kept turning up in the prices above. Brands pegged their National Day offers to it: $18.61 mains at Swensen's, 61% off at Pizza Maru and Springleaf, $61 minimum-spend freebies at the EN Group restaurants, and $6.10 app deals at GYG. So when a listing says "SG61 deals" or "SG61 promo", it simply means a National Day 2026 offer.
Springleaf is the entry people still search for, so it is worth being precise about what ran and when. Both halves of its SG61 campaign are now over.

The National Day cheese-pull challenge is also over. It ran on 8 and 9 August 2026 only, at the Changi Airport Terminal 2 outlet only, and the mechanic was to order the Salted Egg Chicago Pizza and stretch the cheese, with a 50cm pull earning 10% off, 90cm earning 20% off, and at least 120cm earning 61% off the pizza. Some deal listings still show these items, so check the ordering site before making the trip.

The 61-cent plain prata was week three of Springleaf Prata Place's "Back In My Days" throwback campaign, which ran 1 July to 4 August 2026 across 61 days with a different item each week. The 61-cent plain prata and the $0.99 egg prata were available 15 to 21 July 2026 only. The rest of the run was Plaster Blaster $2.73 (1 to 7 Jul), Prata Goreng $2.34 (8 to 14 Jul), Chicken Floss Prata $2.46 from $6.30 (22 to 28 Jul) and Mini Ultimate Murtabak $6.10 from $10.90 (29 Jul to 4 Aug). The follow-up SG61 offer, a free hot teh tarik with the $8.90 Prata Smash Burger, ran 9 to 31 August 2026 and has also ended. Springleaf has not published a replacement National Day offer on its website, which serves its catering arm, so watch its social channels instead.
On a family bill, yes. Dian Xiao Er's SG61 offer took a flat $3 off each of three new dishes, and only at the Emerald members' price, against a $9.90 membership fee. That ended on 31 August 2026. The standing Early Bird promo now takes a percentage off the whole a la carte food order, and it has a 30% tier: up to 30% off Monday to Friday, ordering 11am to 12pm or 4.30pm to 6pm, exclusively at City Square Mall, Downtown East, Great World, Lot One and Parkway Parade. Other outlets get up to 20% in the same windows, and weekends are 15% Saturday and Sunday, 11am to 12pm or 3pm to 4.30pm. There is a 60-minute dining limit, it is valid for dine-in and takeaway on regular-priced a la carte food only, and it excludes dessert, beverage, alcohol and miscellaneous items, public holidays and their eves, and any other promotion, discount or membership privilege. Separately, paying with a Trust card no longer takes $1 off: the current offer is an S$8 return voucher with any spend, dine-in only, redeemable on a later purchase with a minimum S$60 subtotal before GST and service charge. Citi cardholders also get a 1-for-1 Double-Boiled Soup with a minimum S$90 spend until 31 December 2026.

If you see "SG61 deals" or "SG61 promo" in a listing, it means a National Day 2026 offer, and by September all of those windows had closed.

Swensen's SG61 menu ran longest and closed on 9 September 2026. GYG's Butter Chicken filling never had an announced end date, and by 21 October it was no longer listed on GYG's menu page.
National Day 2027 falls on Monday 9 August 2027, Singapore's 62nd, so expect brands to badge their offers SG62. If 2027 follows this year's timing, the first deals will land in early July: Springleaf's SG61 throwback campaign started on 1 July 2026 and Swensen's SG61 menu on 9 July, with most offers running to 31 August and the longest to 9 September. Until then, the standing offers listed above are the ones you can actually use.
