Singapore turned 61 on 9 August 2026 and the restaurants went all-in on premium meat. That window has now closed. We re-checked all six brands on 2 October, and every SG61 offer on this list is over, including the three that ran to 31 August: Barossa's $6.10++ add-on, Tonkatsu ENbiton's free truffle fries and Dian Xiao Er's National Day Special menu. Barossa and Tajimaya, the two brands that had left an expired SG61 listing up on 1 September, have both since taken it off their promotions pages. So this guide now does the more useful job. Endless Steaks & Fries lunch buffet (standing format, not an SG61 promo): $39++ per adult Mon-Wed 11.30am-3pm, $58++ Sat-Sun 11.30am-5pm; kids 4 and under free, 5-11 at $19++/$38++. 90-minute seatings; max 30 guests per weekend session; the weekday buffet needs min 2 diners, caps tables at 10 pax and requires an a la carte drink each (water excluded). SG61 OFFER ENDED 15 AUGUST 2026. The SG61 Prestige Miyazaki Set at $61++ (60g of A5 Miyazaki striploin plus 60g of Australian wagyu short ribs, with free-flow miso soup, garlic rice, wafu salad, Japanese appetisers and a dessert each) ran 1 July to 15 August, dine-in at Great World only. Its tile has since come off Tajimaya's promotions page. Its separate $61++ dinner-buffet flash sale, down from $69.90++, ran 3 to 6 August only.WHAT IS STILL ON: the Premium Wagyu Buffet, which is now the way to eat wagyu here, and the only all-you-can-grill wagyu on this list. Read off the brand's own 2026 buffet menu, it runs 100 minutes at $59.90 per person for lunch and $69.90 per person for dinner, with children aged 5 to 10 at $30.90 and $35.90. Fridays to Sundays, public holidays, special occasions and their eves all add $3 per person. The grill list includes MS6/7 Australian wagyu short ribs, oysterblade and short plate, MS5/6 wagyu flap meat, kurobuta pork belly, Iberico pork collar, ox tongue and smoked duck, alongside sashimi, hot and cold appetisers, staples such as aburi salmon mentaiko don and truffle tonkotsu ramen, and desserts. The National Day Special menu (Stir-Fried Prawns with Silky Egg White at $12.90 for Emerald members against a $15.90 U.P., Succulent Prawn Glass Vermicelli at $16.90 against $19.90, and Three-Cup Abalone with King Oyster Mushrooms at $20.90 against $23.90) and the $9.90 Durian DD.Duck plush keychain have both come off Dian Xiao Er's promo page. The free SG61 MerDuck keychain ended earlier, on 10 August.WHAT IS STILL ON: the Early Bird discount, which is a standing offer running 1 January to 31 December 2026 and is the better deal anyway. SG61 OFFER ENDED 10 AUGUST 2026. The SG61 Taste of Singapore Heritage Brunch Buffet at $61++ per adult and $32++ per child aged 6 to 11 ran over the National Day long weekend only, 8 to 10 August, from 12pm to 3pm, and it is no longer on the hotel's offers page. The kids-eat-free and August-born perks went with it.WHAT IS STILL ON: the rooftop's regular formats at Momentus Hotel Alexandra, on Level 7. The Asia-inspired semi-buffet lunch is $32++ per adult and $18++ per child, Mondays to Fridays from 12pm to 3pm, with a plated main included and a monthly rotating theme drawn from local classics, Japanese, Peranakan and Thai street food. The modern-European semi-buffet dinner is $68++ per adult and $32++ per child, daily from 6pm to 10pm, built around signature rotisserie roasts and the kitchen's in-house meat-ageing programme; a $10++ surcharge applies on public holidays and their eves, free-flow coffee, tea and juices are included, and two hours of free-flow house wine and beer can be added for $48++. Children 5 and under eat free at both, and GHA DISCOVERY members get 20% off either semi-buffet, which brings the dinner to about $54.40++. SG61 OFFER ENDED 14 AUGUST 2026. The A5 Kagoshima Wagyu at $1.88++ per 60g plate ran 1 to 14 August and is off Suki-Ya's promotions page entirely. It was the cheapest premium wagyu of SG61, but it was buffet-linked, applied only to the first 2 plates per diner with each plate after that at $4.88++, was capped at 61 plates per day per outlet on a first-come basis, could not be shared, and carried a $5 wastage fee per 100g left uneaten.WHAT IS STILL ON: at this eat-all-you-can Japanese hotpot chain, sukiyaki and shabu-shabu with free-flow soups, meats and sides, the menu page now prints the buffet rates as text. The Regular buffet is $23.90 at lunch and $28.90 at dinner (children aged 5 to 10 $15.90 and $18.90), and the Premium buffet, which adds Duroc pork collar, Iberico pork, wagyu and seafood, is $36.90 and $41.90 (children $24.90 and $29.90). The promotions page lists a Shabu Shabu Hotpot Lunch Set at $12.90++ (Mondays to Thursdays, 11.30am to 3.30pm, drinks not included), $3 off a Regular buffet for seniors aged 60 and above and students (Mondays to Thursdays, 80 minutes), a birthday treat that needs a minimum of 4 diners, up to 20% off big-group bookings, 50% off a second bottle of Mio sparkling sake and a BYOB deal. Card holders get 30% off the Premium upgrade from Mondays to Thursdays with OCBC or Citi; at weekends OCBC takes $25 off with 4 Premium buffets (to 31 January 2027) and Citi gives 1 free Premium upgrade for every 3 bought (to 30 December 2026). The September-holiday student special that priced the Regular buffet at $22.90++ all day ran 1 to 18 September and is over, so do not turn up quoting School’s Out! Its tile is still sitting on the promotions page, which is the same trap Barossa and Tajimaya set earlier in this guide.THE CATCHES: with the student deal gone, the cheapest Regular buffet here is $20.90 at a Monday-to-Thursday lunch, using the standing $3 off for seniors 60 and above and students, and that keeps the full 80 minutes. The complimentary plate of Truffle Fries with any minimum $61 single-receipt dine-in spend, counted before GST and service charge, ran 13 July to 31 August and has come off the promotions page. Its sister brand Tamago-EN ran the matching $61-spend freebie, which has ended too.WHAT IS STILL ON: the reason to come here in the first place, which is the Thick Cut Katsu series, a chunky 5cm cutlet of chestnut-fed Spanish pork loin with rich marbling, limited to roughly 30 servings a day. The thick-cut donburi is around $32.90++ and the set about $34.90++ for the full size, served with free-flow cabbage and rice. The promotions page also lists a Value XL Katsu Don, an all-day happy hour and corporate bento ordering.THE CATCHES: the Value XL Katsu Don is at the Changi City Point and Suntec City outlets only, not across the chain, and the all-day happy hour needs a minimum order of 2 glasses. Five outlets: Causeway Point, Changi City Point, Jem, Suntec City (Fountain Court) and VivoCity, all open 11am to 10pm. Barossa and Tajimaya both left their expired SG61 tiles up into September and had taken them down by 11 September. Keep that in mind for SG62: an expired promotion can sit on a brand's own site for weeks, so read the dates on the page rather than trusting the tile.
It was an SG61 pun. Singapore marked its 61st year of independence on 9 August 2026, so brands themed promotions around the number: $61 sets at Tajimaya and Verandah, a $6.10 add-on at Barossa, a $61 minimum spend at Tonkatsu ENbiton. It was a marketing hook rather than a fixed discount, which is why some $61 sets sat close to their normal a la carte cost. If the number 61 shows up again in August 2027 for SG62, apply the same test: check the set against the a la carte menu before you decide it is a deal.

None of the six is MUIS halal-certified. Suki-Ya, Tajimaya Yakiniku and Tonkatsu ENbiton are Japanese meat restaurants serving pork and non-halal items, Dian Xiao Er serves duck and pork dishes, and Barossa Steak & Grill and Verandah Rooftop Rotisserie serve pork and alcohol. Halal certification is outlet-specific and can change, so look for a displayed MUIS certificate. On the calendar: National Day 2026 fell on Sunday 9 August, which is why Monday 10 August was a public holiday in lieu, and SG61 promotions clustered around that long weekend before tapering through August. National Day 2027 falls on Monday 9 August, so expect the SG62 versions of these offers to appear from early July 2027 and to run into mid or late August.
