8 Best 1-for-1 Buffet Deals in Singapore (August 2026) — SG61 Halal Spreads, Hotel Buffets & Peranakan Feasts From ~$24++/pax

August is the best buffet month of the year in Singapore — National Day pushes hotels into SG61 pricing, and two of the strongest 1-for-1 deals expire on 31 August. We've verified 8 currently-valid 1-for-1 buffet deals for August 2026, each with the real usual price, what you actually pay per person, the card you need and the exact end date. Headliners: Permata's halal SG61 buffet at Gedung Kuning ($44++/pax for lunch, U.P. $88++, no card needed, ends 31 Aug); the Seasonal Tastes pop-up at The Westin (1-for-1 across eight banks, also ends 31 Aug); and Holiday Inn Atrium's brand-new 'Nyonya Meets The World' halal spread running 27 Jul–9 Sep. For the cheapest entry, Plate at Carlton City Hotel's Sunday Ah Ma Porridge buffet works out to roughly $24++ a head.

August is quietly the best buffet month of the Singapore calendar. National Day pushes hotels into SG61 menus and promotional pricing, the mid-year bank dining campaigns are still running, and a handful of the strongest 1-for-1 offers hit their expiry on 31 August 2026 — which means this is a book-now month, not a browse-later one.

We've verified 8 currently-valid 1-for-1 buffet deals for August 2026 against each venue's own pricing and terms. For every entry you get the real usual price, what two diners actually pay per head, the card you need, the days and times it runs, and the exact end date.

Three ground rules before you book:

  • "++" is not the final number. Almost every price here excludes the 10% service charge and 9% GST. Multiply by roughly 1.199 for the nett figure.
  • Reserve, and say the promotion out loud. Most bank tie-ups require an advance booking that quotes the offer, and payment on the physical card. Walk-ins frequently don't qualify.
  • 1-for-1 usually means adults only. Children are charged separately at their own rate on nearly every deal below.

Ranked by value and urgency — the two that expire on 31 August come first.

The Landmark @ Village Hotel Bugis — UOB 1-for-1 Halal Buffet

The UOB pick, and the one with the longest queues — The Landmark has built a following on a halal-certified international buffet that leans hard into North Indian, Mediterranean and local Singaporean cooking. Walk-in pricing runs from $85.90++ to $102.90++ per adult depending on the session, so a 1-for-1 weekday lunch works out to roughly $42.95++ a head. Sun's Café @ Hotel Grand Pacific — 1-for-1 Peranakan Buffet

The specialist option: one of the few 1-for-1 buffets in Singapore built specifically around Peranakan and Nyonya cooking rather than an international line. Think beef rendang, ayam buah keluak, kueh pie tee and a dessert table of ondeh ondeh, kueh lapis and kueh salat. Buffet pricing is $60++ per adult Monday to Thursday and $65++ Friday to Sunday, so 1-for-1 lands two diners at roughly $30–32.50++ each. OCBC and Citibank cards qualify, through to 30 December 2026. Lunch is 12–2.30pm and dinner 6–9.30pm, at Hotel Grand Pacific, 101 Victoria Street — the same Bras Basah / Bugis stretch as several others on this list, so it's easy to slot into a city day. Prior reservation is required: call 6431 1818 or 6431 1819.

1-for-1 Peranakan lunch & dinner buffet with OCBC and Citibank cards. U.P. $60++/adult Mon–Thu, $65++ Fri–Sun, so ~$30–32.50++ per pax. Prior reservation required. Valid till 30 Dec 2026.

How to actually get the 1-for-1 applied

The most common way people lose a 1-for-1 is at the point of booking, not the point of paying.

  1. Book ahead and name the promotion. Nearly every bank tie-up above requires a reservation made under the offer. "A table for two, on the DBS 1-for-1 buffet promotion" is the phrasing that works.
  2. Bring the physical card. Several banks exclude digital wallet payments on dining promotions, and the card usually has to settle the full bill in one transaction.
  3. Check the session, not just the day. Royale, Plate and Café Mosaic all run different themes and prices across lunch, dinner and weekends, and the 1-for-1 does not always cover every session.
  4. Go in even numbers. 1-for-1 pairs diners. If you're three or five, only Atrium Restaurant explicitly handles the odd diner (50% off with DBS/POSB, Citibank or UOB) — elsewhere the extra person pays full price.
  5. Confirm before you travel. Buffet themes rotate and terms change without much notice. A two-minute call to the restaurant is worth it, particularly for the two deals expiring on 31 August.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which 1-for-1 buffet deals in Singapore end on 31 August 2026?

Two of the strongest ones. Permata's SG61 halal buffet at Gedung Kuning runs 1 July to 31 August 2026 — $44++ per adult for lunch (U.P. $88++) and $54++ for dinner (U.P. $108++), with no credit card required. The Seasonal Tastes Pop-Up at Cook & Brew, The Westin Singapore runs 18 May to 31 August 2026, with 1-for-1 on the weekday semi-buffet dinner (U.P. $98++) and the weekend and public-holiday buffet dinner (U.P. $108++). A third date to note: Café Mosaic at Carlton Hotel keeps its 1-for-1 running, but from 31 August 2026 its weekend and public-holiday adult price rises from $62++ to $68++, so a weekend visit is cheaper before that date.

What's the cheapest 1-for-1 buffet in Singapore right now?

Plate at Carlton City Hotel. Its Sunday lunch 'Ah Ma Porridge' buffet starts from $48++ per adult, so after 1-for-1 two diners pay roughly $24++ each before service charge and GST. The weekday 'Flavours of Hong Kong' lunch buffet at $58++ per adult works out to about $29++ a head. Both are open to Citibank, DBS/POSB, Maybank, OCBC and Standard Chartered cardmembers, which makes them among the easiest deals on this list to actually use.

Which of these 1-for-1 buffets are halal-certified?

Three on this list are halal. Permata at Gedung Kuning serves a fully halal menu of 50-plus local dishes curated by Chef Mel Dean. Atrium Restaurant at Holiday Inn Singapore Atrium runs a halal buffet — its current 'Nyonya Meets The World' SG61 spread runs 27 July to 9 September 2026. The Landmark at Village Hotel Bugis is halal-certified and leans North Indian, Mediterranean and local. The hotel buffets at The Westin, Carlton City, Carlton Hotel, Mercure Bugis and Hotel Grand Pacific are not halal-certified — always confirm with the outlet, since certification status changes. For more certified options, see our [best halal buffets in Singapore](/article/best-halal-buffets-singapore-2026) guide.

Do I need a credit card for these 1-for-1 buffet deals?

For most, yes — but not all. Permata's SG61 buffet is open to everyone with no card requirement, and Atrium Restaurant's 1-for-1 applies to adult diners generally (the DBS/POSB, Citibank and UOB tie-up there covers odd-numbered groups with 50% off the extra diner). Everything else is bank-linked: Seasonal Tastes accepts DBS/POSB, OCBC, UOB, Citibank, Maybank, Bank of China and JCB; Plate accepts Citibank, DBS/POSB, Maybank, OCBC and Standard Chartered; Café Mosaic accepts DBS/POSB, Citibank, OCBC and UOB; Royale runs with DBS/POSB and Maybank; The Landmark is a UOB deal; and Sun's Café runs with OCBC and Citibank. Most banks require payment on the physical card and a reservation quoting the promotion — walk-ins are often not eligible.

Does the 1-for-1 price include service charge and GST?

No. Every price marked '++' excludes the standard 10% service charge and 9% GST, which are added at the till. As a rule of thumb, multiply the '++' price by about 1.199 to get the nett figure. So Plate's $29++ per head after 1-for-1 lands at roughly $35 nett, Permata's $44++ lunch at about $53 nett, and Seasonal Tastes' ~$49++ at about $59 nett. Budget for it — buffets are one of the few places where the extras add a meaningful amount.
