September resets the buffet board. National Day pricing is gone, two of August's headline deals ended with the month, and one of them came back as something weaker. We re-checked all seven 1-for-1 buffets on this page against each venue's own menu and terms on 10 September 2026, with the real menu price, what two diners actually pay each, the card you need and the exact end date. Cheapest is still Plate at Carlton City Hotel, whose Sunday Ah Ma Porridge buffet works out at roughly $28++ a head; Sun's Café's Peranakan spread is about $30++ and now has a confirmed run to 31 December 2026. Two need no credit card at all: Permata's halal buffet at Gedung Kuning, which restarted on 1 September with a new East Coast menu, and The Landmark at Village Hotel Bugis. And the 9 September deadline we carried on Holiday Inn Atrium did not kill its 1-for-1: the Nyonya menu ended, the discount did not, and a Wagyu Beef, Seafood and Suhaimi's dinner buffet took over on 10 September at $128++ to $138++, dated to 22 November.

The cheapest way onto a hotel buffet in Singapore right now, and the most flexible: Plate rotates a different theme through the week, each with its own 1-for-1. Sunday lunch is 'Ah Ma Porridge' at $56++ per adult ($22++ for children 6 to 12, under-6s free), so roughly $28++ a head after 1-for-1, the lowest entry on this list, and the hotel's offer page now schedules it August through October. Weekday lunch is 'Flavours of Hong Kong' at $62++ per adult Monday to Friday ($28++ child) and $68++ on Saturdays and public holidays ($32++ child), so about $31++ a head, and it too is scheduled August through October, Monday to Saturday, 12 to 2.30pm. The big evening spread is 'Canton Street Kitchen' at $138++ per adult ($45++ child, under-6s free), Friday and Saturday 6 to 10pm, with an optional $38++ free-flow housepour wine and beer add-on that the 1-for-1 does not cover. Citibank, DBS/POSB, Maybank, OCBC and Standard Chartered cards all qualify, payment must be made on one of them, and seniors 55 and above get 50% off the regular price instead of the 1-for-1. The specialist option: one of the few 1-for-1 buffets in Singapore built specifically around Peranakan and Nyonya cooking rather than an international line. Think beef rendang, ayam buah keluak, sambal udang, Nyonya laksa lemak, kueh pie tee and a dessert table of Nyonya kueh and durian pengat. The hotel's own promotions page prices the buffet at $60++ per adult Monday to Thursday and $65++ Friday to Sunday, at both lunch and dinner, so 1-for-1 lands two diners at roughly $30 to $32.50++ each. On the card side, we have tightened what we say. The hotel's promotions page publishes the prices but no card list at all, while DBS's own card-privileges page for Sun's Café confirms a 1-for-1 Peranakan buffet (and a separate 1-for-1 American breakfast buffet) for DBS/POSB credit and debit cards from now to 31 December 2026, valid at lunch and dinner, capped at 20 diners per card per bill, on quoting 'DBS/POSB' at both reservation and payment. Other issuers have been listed elsewhere in the past, so call and confirm yours before you go. Lunch is 12 to 2.30pm and dinner 6 to 9.30pm, at Hotel Grand Pacific, 101 Victoria Street, the same Bras Basah and Bugis stretch as several others on this list. The deadline we flagged has come and gone, and the 1-for-1 outlived it. What ended on 9 September was the menu, not the discount. The halal 'Nyonya Meets The World' spread finished its run, and the hotel's own offer page now dates a 'Wagyu Beef, Seafood and Suhaimi's Buffet' from 10 September to 22 November 2026, carrying the same 1-for-1 for all adult diners. Built with entertainer Suhaimi Yusof, it is a dinner menu rather than an all-day one: pan-seared wagyu steak with truffle sauce, slow-roasted wagyu D-rump, Singapore chilli lobster with mantou, wagyu beef cheek rendang, and a seafood-on-ice counter rotating Japanese snow crab legs, oysters, tiger prawns, baby abalone and half-shell scallops. Bamboo lobster is weekends only, and the hotel notes that stations rotate daily, so read the list as a pool rather than a nightly guarantee. Dinner is $128++ per adult Monday to Thursday and $138++ Friday to Sunday and public holidays, which after the 1-for-1 is roughly $64++ or $69++ a head, about $76.74 and $82.73 nett. Children 6 to 12 are $30++ and under-5s dine free with each paying adult. An odd-numbered party still gets 50% off the extra diner with DBS/POSB, Citibank or UOB. Three things did stop: the 2X IHG One Rewards points and the members-only Sizzling Summer Fest both ended on 31 August, and the 55% off for a table of five at weekday dinner, which beat the 1-for-1 on price through August, was listed only to 9 September and has no successor. One caveat worth a phone call: with the new menu the hotel publishes dinner pricing only, so if you want the cheaper lunch sitting, confirm the rate before you go. Lunch runs daily 12 to 2.30pm and dinner 6 to 9.30pm, Level 4, 317 Outram Road, which despite the address is a short walk from Havelock MRT.

A solid mid-tier all-rounder in the Bugis cluster, and the pick if DBS/POSB or Maybank is what's in your wallet. Royale's international buffet is priced by session, and the session you choose matters more here than anywhere else on this list. Monday to Thursday lunch is $65++ per adult and dinner $75++; Friday lunch $65++ and dinner $100++; Saturday lunch $70++ and dinner $100++; Sunday lunch $70++ and dinner $75++. Children 7 to 12 pay exactly half at every session, and under-6s dine free with each paying adult. With 1-for-1 that puts two diners at roughly $32.50++ each on a weekday lunch, and the cheapest dinner in the week is not Friday or Saturday but Monday to Thursday or Sunday, at about $37.50++ a head. The bank list is wider than most people realise: 1-for-1 runs daily for DBS/POSB, Maybank, OCBC, Citibank and UOB cardmembers. If you hold no qualifying card there is a second route, and it is the better one for an odd-numbered group: ALL Accor+ Explorer members get 30% off adult pricing for up to 10 diners. Free-flow add-ons sit outside the 1-for-1 at $30++ for sparkling and housewine or $3++ per person for coffee, tea and juices. Mercure publishes no end date for either offer. A Hong Kong tze-char and dim sum spread (roast meats, steamed baskets, egg tarts, bolo buns, Hong Kong French toast and egglet waffles at the live stations) with one of the most accessible 1-for-1s in town, open to DBS/POSB, Citibank, OCBC and UOB cardmembers. The price rise we flagged in August has landed, and it went further than the hotel first signalled. The Hong Kong Kitchen lunch buffet is now $68++ per adult every day of the week rather than $62++ on weekdays, so a pair pays about $34++ each, roughly $41 nett. The Hong Kong seafood dinner buffet, Thursday to Saturday, has gone from $128++ to $138++, about $69++ a head. Children 7 to 12 are $18 at lunch and $38 at dinner. The 1-for-1 covers adults only, seniors 55 and over get 50% off instead and that cannot be stacked with the card offer, and the deal does not apply on public holidays, their eve or special occasions. The halal heavyweight, and the one with the longest queues. The Landmark has built a following on a MUIS-certified international buffet by Dato' Chef Fazley Yaakob that leans hard into North Indian, Mediterranean, Western and local Singaporean cooking, with live pizza, pasta, satay and seafood stations at weekends. One correction worth repeating, because we and most other lists carried it: this is not a UOB-only tie-up. The Landmark publishes the 1-for-1 as its standard buffet pricing on its own menu and promotions pages, with no credit-card condition stated anywhere. Weekday lunch (Mon to Fri) is $85.90++ for the pair ($103.00 nett), weekend, public-holiday and eve-of-PH lunch $88.90++ ($106.60 nett), weekday dinner (Mon to Thu) $94.90++ ($113.80 nett) and weekend or PH dinner $102.90++ ($123.40 nett). That is roughly $42.95++ a head at weekday lunch, or about $51.50 nett. One thing to note: the 'kids below 8 dine free' banner still sits on the promotions page, but its own terms date it 9 to 28 June 2026, so treat it as finished and ask at booking. There is a much cheaper route if you are bringing parents. The seniors buffet, for 60s and over with ID, is $30 nett at lunch any day, $35 nett for Monday-to-Thursday dinner and $40 nett Friday to Sunday, PH and eve of PH. We re-checked the promotions page on 10 September and it now carries a single date for this: extended to 31 October 2026, with the older 31 July line gone. It's a poolside setting on Level 5 at 390 Victoria Street, #05-01, Village Hotel Bugis, about six minutes' walk from Bugis MRT and directly across from Sultan Mosque. Lunch is 12 to 2.30pm and dinner 6.30 to 10pm daily, not one continuous service; call 6299 7786 and reserve ahead, especially at dinner and on weekends.

The one that needs no credit card at all, and it did not expire on 31 August: it changed menu. Permata's 1-for-1 restarted on 1 September 2026 with 'Flavours of the East Coast', a fully halal Nusantara spread by Chef Mel Dean built around Kelantan, Terengganu and Pahang, so expect Kelantanese aromatics, Terengganu seafood traditions and Pahang tempoyak dishes in place of the chilli crab and chicken rice of the National Day menu it replaces. The pricing is unchanged from the previous run. The restaurant sells the 1-for-1 as a pair rate rather than a discount off a single-diner price: $88++ covers two adults at lunch, about $44++ each, and $108++ covers two at dinner, about $54++ each. Everyone else pays a fixed per-head rate instead of sharing the 1-for-1, and those rates are unchanged too: seniors 60 and above $38++ at lunch and $44++ at dinner, 13 to 17s $28++ and $34++, children 7 to 12 $20++ and $24++, 5 to 6s $10++ at either sitting, and under-5s free. Lunch runs Monday to Sunday 12 to 2.30pm; dinner is Monday to Friday and Sunday 6 to 9.30pm, with Saturday split into two seatings, 5 to 7pm and 7.30 to 9.30pm. The setting is the real draw: Gedung Kuning, the restored Yellow Mansion in Kampong Glam, at 73 Sultan Gate, a few minutes from Bugis MRT. One thing to be clear about: the 1 September to 31 October 2026 dates belong to the menu, not to the discount. The 1-for-1 is Permata's standing daily format rather than a limited campaign, which is why it survived the end of the National Day run. Weekend slots go early, so reserve ahead, and note the $15 nett per person no-show and late-cancellation fee, charged to the card on file if you give less than 24 hours' notice.

The 9 September date we carried on Atrium Restaurant at Holiday Inn Singapore Atrium has passed and its 1-for-1 came through it: the 'Nyonya Meets The World' menu ended, and the hotel's own offer page now runs a Wagyu Beef, Seafood and Suhaimi's dinner buffet from 10 September to 22 November 2026 with the same 1-for-1 for adult diners, at $128++ Monday to Thursday and $138++ Friday to Sunday and public holidays, children 6 to 12 at $30++ and under-5s free. The soonest dated deal on the page is now Permata's 'Flavours of the East Coast' buffet, to 31 October 2026, followed by Plate's Canton Street Kitchen to 18 December 2026 and Sun's Café's DBS/POSB offer to 31 December 2026. Three things did genuinely end. Permata's 'Flavours of the Lion City' menu finished on 31 August and was replaced rather than extended, Seasonal Tastes at The Westin ended its 1-for-1 with the pop-up, and at Atrium Restaurant both the 2X IHG One Rewards points (31 August) and the 55% off for a table of five at weekday dinner (listed only to 9 September) are gone with no successor.

It ended on 31 August 2026 and did not come back in the same form. The Seasonal Tastes pop-up at Cook & Brew ran a genuine 1-for-1 on its dinner buffets across seven card issuers until the end of August. The refurbished Seasonal Tastes reopened with reservations from 1 September 2026, and the bank offer there is now 50% off the second diner rather than a free second diner. On the new rate card that means a Monday-to-Thursday lunch at $68++ per adult works out at about $51++ a head for a pair, against $78++ Friday to Sunday and a $128++ seafood dinner buffet. Children aged 4 to 12 are $34++ at lunch and $55++ at dinner. The issuers named are DBS/POSB, OCBC, UOB, Citibank, Bank of China, Maybank, American Express and JCB, and through September LiveWell members and their guests get a complimentary glass of house wine with a lunch or dinner buffet. Because 50% off one diner is a quarter off the pair rather than a half, the restaurant no longer qualifies for this list.
Cheaper than most people assume, but read the nett figure rather than the '++' one. The floor on this list is Plate's Sunday Ah Ma Porridge lunch at Carlton City Hotel, about $28++ a head, which is roughly $34 nett once the 10% service charge and 9% GST go on. After that: Sun's Café's Peranakan buffet at about $30++ (~$36 nett) Monday to Thursday, Plate's Flavours of Hong Kong weekday lunch at about $31++ (~$37 nett), Royale's weekday lunch and Sun's Café's weekend sittings at about $32.50++ (~$39 nett), and Café Mosaic's Hong Kong Kitchen lunch at about $34++ (~$41 nett) since its September price rise. Above that you are paying for the hotel rather than the food volume: The Landmark is $42.95++ (its own menu prints $51.50 nett a head) and Permata $44++ (~$53 nett). The single cheapest number on this page is not a 1-for-1 at all. It is The Landmark's seniors buffet at $30 nett for lunch, which needs no partner and no card, just ID showing you are 60 or over. A cheap buffet in Singapore in 2026 realistically means $34 to $41 nett per person at a hotel weekday or Sunday lunch sitting, and it almost always means going in a pair so the 1-for-1 halves the bill.
Three on this list are halal. Atrium Restaurant at Holiday Inn Singapore Atrium runs a halal buffet, currently the 'Nyonya Meets The World' spread to 9 September 2026 and a Wagyu, seafood and Suhaimi's selection after that. Permata at Gedung Kuning serves a fully halal Nusantara menu, from 1 September themed 'Flavours of the East Coast' around Kelantan, Terengganu and Pahang, curated by Chef Mel Dean. Permata's buffet is open to everyone; Atrium Restaurant's 1-for-1 applies to adult diners generally, with the DBS/POSB, Citibank and UOB tie-up there only covering odd-numbered groups at 50% off the extra diner; and The Landmark, which is widely written up as a UOB deal, actually publishes the 1-for-1 as its standard buffet pricing on its own menu and promotions pages, with no credit-card condition stated. The rest are bank-linked: Plate accepts Citibank, DBS/POSB, Maybank, OCBC and Standard Chartered; Café Mosaic accepts DBS/POSB, Citibank, OCBC and UOB; Royale runs daily with DBS/POSB, Maybank, OCBC, Citibank and UOB, or 30% off adult pricing for ALL Accor+ Explorer members; and Sun's Café is confirmed on DBS/POSB through DBS's own card-privileges page, with other issuers worth checking by phone. Most banks require payment on the physical card and a reservation quoting the promotion, and walk-ins are often not eligible.
No. Every price marked '++' excludes the standard 10% service charge and 9% GST, which are added at the till. As a rule of thumb, multiply the '++' price by about 1.199 to get the nett figure. So Plate's $31++ per head after 1-for-1 lands at roughly $37 nett, Café Mosaic's $34++ at about $41 nett, and Permata's $44++ lunch at about $53 nett. One place quotes the nett figure for you: The Landmark prints $103.00 nett for a weekday-lunch pair, and its seniors buffet is priced in nett dollars from the start. Budget for it, because buffets are one of the few places where the extras add a meaningful amount.
