The offer
Mr Bean's Facebook post is simple: pay $3, unlock up to $55 of value, available from 26 October to 16 December at all outlets while stocks last. The booklet poster names four coupons, and Mr Bean's own e-coupon page fills in the rest with prices and dates.

Mr Bean's healthcare outlets (polyclinics and hospitals such as SGH, NUH, Changi General and Sengkang General, plus Northpoint City) get their own versions: a wholemeal Mao Shan Wang pancake at $4.50 (U.P. $6.80), buy 2 get 1 free wholemeal Orh Nee Mochi pancakes (5-13 Nov) and a $7.90 bundle with a wholemeal kaya cheese pancake (U.P. $12.40).
Is it worth $3?
Yes, if you use even one free coupon. The soymilk and pancake alone are worth up to $4.50, so the booklet pays for itself on the first visit, and the beancurd adds another $2.30. Two $1 pouches save another $1.80. The "up to $55" adds every coupon at its usual price, which only counts if you would buy a crispy roll and a pair of socks anyway.
The fine print
- Each coupon has its own dates. The booklet is sold to 16 December, but the $1 pouch stops on 24 November and the Orh Nee deal runs only 5-13 November.
- The dishwashing liquid is the hardest to get. It needs a $7 spend excluding promotional items, runs on selected weekends only and is capped at 18,000 bottles.
- No stacking. Coupons are not valid with other promotions, discounts, catering, bulk orders or delivery, and there is no customisation.
- Selected outlets for some coupons. The hospital coupons are limited to a list of 15 outlets, and the wholemeal Mao Shan Wang one excludes KTPH, KK Women's and Children's, Woodlands and Tan Tock Seng.
- While stocks last. That applies to the booklet and to every coupon item.
Tips
- Save the coupons to your phone. The QR code in the booklet opens Mr Bean's e-coupon page. You enter a name and age range, then download each coupon and scan it at the counter, so you do not have to carry the booklet.
- Use the calendar button. The e-coupon page can add each coupon's redemption window to your calendar, which helps with the short 5-13 November Orh Nee deal.
- Start with the $1 pouch. It is the only discount coupon live from 28 October, and it runs out first, on 24 November.
- Carry cash at MRT kiosks. A commenter on Mr Bean's post said the Lakeside MRT outlet accepts cash only.
