KFC: $5 Real Deals on Weekdays, Plus a $6.50 Monday App Deal

KFC has retired its old online-only deal menu and replaced it with a standing **$5 Real Deals** range, and right now it is the best-value chain lunch in Singapore. Five sets sit in it: the **$5 BBQ Tenders Burger Meal**, the **$5.50 Cheesy Tenders Twister Meal**, the **$5.50 Famous Bowl Meal**, the **$5.50 Curry Macaroni Bowl Set** and the **$6.50 Mac 'N Cheese Bowl Meal**, and each one includes a regular side and a drink, so $5 buys a complete meal rather than a burger on its own. Against the standing menu that is a genuine cut: an Original Recipe Burger Meal is $8.35 and a Zinger Meal $8.35, so the $5 deal lands around 40% below a comparable set. The catches are the important part, and they are the reverse of what KFC's deals used to demand. These are **weekday deals only**, Monday to Friday, after 11am, and explicitly not on weekends or public holidays. They are also **dine-in and takeaway only**: KFC states they are not available on KFC Delivery, GrabFood, foodpanda or Deliveroo. KFC Sentosa, Singapore Zoo and Jewel Changi Airport are excluded. KFC still runs a **Monday App Deal** every week, and the item has changed: it is now a **6pc Crispy Chicken Bites Meal at $6.50**, against $7.80 for the same meal on the standing menu, flagged as orderable on Mondays only, dine-in or takeaway. The item rotates week to week, so open the app or kfc.com.sg on the day rather than assuming last week's. Breakfast is cheaper again, and better value than it first looks: KFC's **A.M. Twister Grab and Go is $3.95 on weekdays** and its default drink is a black coffee, so that is a hot drink plus a filled tortilla for under $4. OR Porridge is $4.35. KFC also runs a **standing coupon wall** at kfc.com.sg/Coupon/Promotion that most people never open, and unlike the $5 Real Deals it is **available every day, weekends included**. Most of the current batch expires **30 September 2026**. Breakfast has two all-week codes, a **$5.40 American Twister Meal** and an Original Recipe Porridge Meal with Hashbrown. On the main menu, **$11 buys the 3pc Chicken Meal** against $12.70 on the standing menu, **$7.90 the BBQ Pockett Meal** against $8.95, **$7.50 a 3pc Original Recipe Tender Meal** against $8.15, and **$26 an 8pc bucket** against $28.30. Spend-based codes sit alongside them: free 3pc Original Recipe Tenders above $20 and a free BBQ Pockett above $25 on dine-in or takeaway, a free Hash Brown above $6, and $2 off $30 or $5 off $50 on delivery. Each code carries a channel badge, either delivery or dine-in and takeaway, so check it before you plan the trip. What has gone: the Curry x Sambal Zinger finished its run and has been replaced by a **Japanese Nanban** line-up at standing-menu prices (Nanban Zinger $7.50 a la carte, $9.30 as a meal; 6pc Nanban Bites $6.90). One discount does reach it: Trust Bank cardholders take **$2 off the Japanese Nanban Chicken Bites Box** (U.P. $11.65) from 19 August to 29 September 2026, capped at the first 5,000 redemptions, dine-in and takeaway only, and not valid with other codes. The Curry Macaroni Bowl survives on the standing menu at $7.50 a la carte and $8.50 as a meal. And Chicken Tuesday, the 5-for-$9.95 deal people still search for, last ran in April 2026 and is still not on. KFC's current promos →

BK's play is coupon-stacking, and the current wall runs from 6 July to 4 October 2026. The deepest cut is 62% off with code DL8, which gets you 9pc BK Nuggets plus a Fuze Tea for $5 instead of $13.15. Drinks start at $2 with DL5, which covers an Iced or Hot Americano, a Cappuccino, a Hot Chocolate or a SJORA against a $4.90 menu price. The rest of the DL run is where the everyday value sits: DL9 gets 6pc Nuggets with regular Cheesy Fries for $5, DL10 gets 5pc Mexican Drumlets with a small soft drink for $5.90, DL11 gets 22pc Nuggets for $9.80 against $14.65 if you're feeding a group, and DL12 gets two selected burgers, the BBQ Chicken Burger or Whopper Jr., for $6.50. Redemption is a kiosk job: pick your coupon, tap "Use Coupon" at the self-service kiosk, key in the code, and check the final price before paying. All of these are all-day codes. Breakfast coupons only work during breakfast hours at selected stores, and Changi Airport outlets are excluded. All BK coupon codes →

McDonald's McSaver Meals From $5, and a Breakfast McSaver With Coffee From $5

McDonald's McSaver Meals From $5, and a Breakfast McSaver With Coffee From $5

McDonald's answer to KFC's $5 range is **McSaver™**, and it is the part of the menu most people walk straight past. McSaver meals start at **$5** and cover familiar mains rather than off-menu oddities: the Filet-O-Fish, the McChicken, the Smoky Beef Meal and the newest addition, a 1pc Chicken McCrispy Meal. The promotional price runs **after breakfast hours and while stocks last**, it is **not available via delivery**, and Lido, Gardens by the Bay and Changi Airport (Jewel, T2 and T3) are excluded. Mornings have their own version, and it is the best-value seven-day breakfast on this list. The **Breakfast McSaver™ Meal** puts a McMuffin, a Hash Brown or Corn Cup and a McCafé Premium Roast Coffee or tea together **from $5**, a full breakfast with a hot drink for less than most chains charge for the drink alone. It runs during breakfast hours at selected restaurants, the price varies with your choice of drink, and like the main range it is not available on McDelivery or other delivery platforms. Mobile Order lets you tap and collect rather than queue. Beyond the standing menu, the pattern matters more than any single voucher: the deeper app discounts arrive in the **Pre-Payday** run, which lands around the 20th to the 25th of each month, so that is the week to actually open the app. App vouchers are typically one redemption per customer, cannot be combined with other promotions, allow no customisations, and carry a minimum spend on McDelivery. Two things have ended since our last update. The $6.50 McSpicy Meal ran **13–19 August only** and is done. And the **McDonald's x Old Chang Kee curry burgers are off the menu**: mcdonalds.com.sg/curryburgers now returns a 404, and no curry burger appears on the full menu, only the Curry Sauce dip. Guzman y Gomez: $3 Brekkie Burrito on the 3rd, Free Kids Meal on Sundays

Guzman y Gomez: $3 Brekkie Burrito on the 3rd, Free Kids Meal on Sundays

The best-value breakfast on this list is also the easiest to diarise: GYG drops its Brekkie Burrito to **$3** (U.P. $7) on the 3rd of every month, across 18 participating Singapore restaurants, so the next run is **3 October**. It became a standing monthly fixture on 3 July 2026 rather than a one-off. It is a proper egg-and-fillings burrito at kopi money: scrambled eggs, a hash brown and your choice of bacon, chorizo, sauteed vegetables with guacamole or pulled shiitake, wrapped in a warm tortilla. Extra fillings and sides cost more. Buy it over the counter or through the GYG app, but note the app cap: each GOMEX member is limited to one single $3 burrito **and** one $6 combo of two, which totals **three burritos across two transactions** on the day. Over the counter you can buy more, subject to availability. Three catches worth knowing: it only runs **during that restaurant's own breakfast hours on the day**, and those open anywhere from 7am to 8am depending on the outlet, it is **not applicable for delivery**, and it is not valid at Pasir Ris Mall, ION Orchard, Our Tampines Hub, Jewel Changi Airport, Hillion Mall or Suntec City. Suntec now serves breakfast daily from 8am to 10.30am, but is still on that exclusion list. GYG also runs the one genuine **Sunday** deal among the chains: **Kids Dine Free Sundays**, where adding any eligible regular Main plus a Kids Meal to your cart discounts the Kids Meal to **free**, no code needed. It is GYG app only, one redemption per GOMEX member, for kids up to 12, available at all Singapore restaurants. Single Tacos, the $3 Taco and the Cheese Quesadilla don't count as qualifying Mains, and it can't be combined with Make it a Meal or other bundles.

$3 Brekkie Burrito (U.P. $7): 3rd of every month during breakfast hours, counter or GYG app; next on 3 Oct. Plus a free Kids Meal with any regular Main on Sundays, app only.

Coffee: Where the Cheap Cups Actually Are

Coffee: Where the Cheap Cups Actually Are

If you're chasing caffeine rather than a cafe, the fast-food chains win on price, and both winners have changed. The cheapest cup in Singapore right now is **Burger King's $2 coupon, DL5**: an Iced or Hot Americano, a Cappuccino, a Hot Chocolate or a SJORA against a $4.90 menu price, all day, till 4 October. You key the code in at the kiosk, so it costs nothing but the walk. On the standing menu with no coupon at all, KFC is the floor: **Black or White Coffee at $3.45**, a Cappuccino or Latte at $4.45, a Mocha at $4.70 and a Hot Milo at $3.70, with no app, voucher or minimum spend needed. For a coffee **and** something to eat, KFC now wins on weekdays: the **$3.95 A.M. Twister Grab and Go** takes a black coffee as its default drink, so a hot cup and a filled tortilla come in under $4. McDonald's **Breakfast McSaver from $5** is the seven-day equivalent, bundling a McMuffin, a hash brown or corn cup and a McCafé Premium Roast Coffee or tea, and it is still less than most chains charge for a single handcrafted drink. Worth doing the maths before you order à la carte: KFC's $5 Real Deals meals already include a drink on weekdays, so a $5 meal often costs less than a coffee plus a snack bought separately. For Starbucks, outright price cuts are rare, and the lever worth pulling is the Rewards programme and its periodic member-only drink offers rather than the menu board. Which deals run on which days

Searching for a fast-food deal today, or a Tuesday or Thursday special? Here is the honest calendar, and it changed in August, because KFC's cheapest range is now weekday-only rather than all week.

  • Monday to Friday: KFC's $5 Real Deals run only on weekdays, after 11am, dine-in or takeaway. The range is the $5 BBQ Tenders Burger Meal, $5.50 Cheesy Tenders Twister Meal, $5.50 Famous Bowl Meal, $5.50 Curry Macaroni Bowl Set and $6.50 Mac 'N Cheese Bowl Meal, each with a regular side and a drink. Not valid on weekends or public holidays
  • Every Monday: KFC adds a rotating app deal on top, currently a 6pc Crispy Chicken Bites Meal at $6.50 against a $7.80 menu price. The item changes weekly, so check on the day
  • Every Sunday: Guzman y Gomez gives a free Kids Meal with any eligible regular Main on the GYG app, one per GOMEX member, kids up to 12. This is the only genuine weekend chain deal on the list
  • Every day of the week: McDonald's McSaver meals from $5 after breakfast hours, Burger King's e-coupons, which are all-day till 4 Oct and cost the same on a Tuesday as on a Sunday, and KFC's coupon wall at kfc.com.sg/Coupon/Promotion, which runs daily to 30 Sep and is the answer on the days the $5 Real Deals do not apply
  • Daily, but only in a time window: KFC's weekday deals do not start until 11am, and McDonald's Breakfast McSaver stops when breakfast does
  • The 3rd of every month: Guzman y Gomez's $3 Brekkie Burrito, during that outlet's own breakfast hours. It ran on 3 September, so the next one is 3 October
  • Around the 20th to 25th monthly: McDonald's Pre-Payday run, historically the deepest app discounts of the month
  • Still not running: KFC's Chicken Tuesday (5pc for $9.95) last ran in April 2026 and has not come back. There is no Tuesday or Thursday chain special right now, though KFC's daily coupon wall and BK's e-coupons are priced the same on those days

Good to know

  • KFC's $5 Real Deals are dine-in and takeaway only. They are not on KFC Delivery, GrabFood, foodpanda or Deliveroo, and not on weekends or public holidays. This is the reverse of KFC's old online-only deal menu, so do not assume delivery still qualifies
  • McDonald's McSaver prices do not travel either. The promotional price is not available via delivery, and it only applies after breakfast hours
  • Excluded outlets: KFC Sentosa, Singapore Zoo and Jewel Changi Airport; McDonald's Lido, Gardens by the Bay and Changi Airport (Jewel, T2, T3); Burger King Changi Airport; GYG's $3 burrito skips Pasir Ris Mall, ION Orchard, Our Tampines Hub, Jewel, Hillion Mall and Suntec City
  • Card deals worth knowing: Trust Bank cardholders get $2 off KFC's Japanese Nanban Chicken Bites Box (U.P. $11.65) until 29 September, capped at the first 5,000 redemptions and not stackable with other codes. KFC's coupon page also lists an OCBC card exclusive, $4 off the 8pc Super Savers Feast on delivery until 27 September, a DBS or POSB $2 off a minimum $15 spend until 31 December 2026, and Trust Bank Freedom card codes for $2 off $15 and $5 off $35 that run all the way to 29 August 2027
  • Recently ended: the $6.50 McSpicy Meal (13-19 Aug), KFC's Curry x Sambal Zinger, since replaced by the Japanese Nanban range, and the McDonald's x Old Chang Kee curry burgers, which are off the menu
  • Fast-food chains rarely take CDC vouchers. Save your $500 for supermarkets and hawkers instead
  • Deals do not usually stack. KFC allows one deal per order, and McDonald's app vouchers are one per customer

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the cheapest fast-food meal in Singapore right now?

Two chains now share the $5 floor, and both give you a full meal rather than a single item. KFC's **$5 BBQ Tenders Burger Meal**, part of its $5 Real Deals range, includes a regular side and a drink, but only on weekdays after 11am, dine-in or takeaway. McDonald's **McSaver meals start at $5** after breakfast hours, covering the Filet-O-Fish, McChicken, Smoky Beef and a 1pc Chicken McCrispy Meal, and run every day rather than weekdays only. For breakfast, KFC is cheapest on weekdays: an A.M. Twister Grab and Go is $3.95 and comes with a black coffee, and OR Porridge is $4.35. McDonald's **Breakfast McSaver from $5** is the best seven-day option, bundling a McMuffin, a hash brown or corn cup and a coffee or tea. The single cheapest thing worth diarising is Guzman y Gomez's $3 Brekkie Burrito, but that only happens on the 3rd of each month during breakfast hours, next on 3 October. Burger King beats everyone on snacks: coupon DL8 gets 9pc Nuggets and a Fuze Tea for $5, all day, till 4 October.

Do I need the app to get these fast-food deals?

Less than you used to, and the rules have flipped. KFC's **$5 Real Deals are dine-in and takeaway only**. You can order them at the restaurant or on kfc.com.sg, but they are explicitly not available on KFC Delivery, GrabFood, foodpanda or Deliveroo, which is the opposite of the old online-only deal menu. Its weekly Monday deal is the app-and-web one, currently a 6pc Crispy Chicken Bites Meal at $6.50. McDonald's **McSaver prices are on the standing menu**, so no app is required, though the promotional price is not available via delivery and the deeper Pre-Payday discounts are app vouchers. Guzman y Gomez's $3 burrito works over the counter or in the GYG app, but its free Sunday Kids Meal is app-only. Burger King needs nothing installed at all: its e-coupons are codes you key into the self-service kiosk.

Which outlets are excluded from these deals?

Exclusions catch people out more often than expiry dates do, and each chain has its own list. KFC's $5 Real Deals do not apply at **Sentosa, Singapore Zoo or Jewel Changi Airport**, only run after 11am, and are not valid on weekends or public holidays. McDonald's McSaver promotional price is not available at **Lido, Gardens by the Bay or Changi Airport (Jewel, T2 and T3)**, and is not available via delivery. Burger King's e-coupons exclude **Changi Airport** stores, and its breakfast coupons only work during breakfast hours at selected stores. Guzman y Gomez's $3 Brekkie Burrito runs at 18 participating restaurants and is not valid at **Pasir Ris Mall, ION Orchard, Our Tampines Hub, Jewel Changi Airport, Hillion Mall or Suntec City**. Note that Suntec does serve breakfast daily from 8am to 10.30am, it just isn't part of the $3 offer.

Which fast-food deals run on specific days of the week in Singapore?

The weekday calendar changed in August, and it now matters more than ever. **Monday to Friday** is the whole window for KFC's $5 Real Deals. The $5 BBQ Tenders Burger Meal, $5.50 Cheesy Tenders Twister Meal, $5.50 Famous Bowl Meal, $5.50 Curry Macaroni Bowl Set and $6.50 Mac 'N Cheese Bowl Meal are after 11am, dine-in or takeaway, and are **not valid on weekends or public holidays**. **Monday** adds KFC's weekly app deal on top, currently a 6pc Crispy Chicken Bites Meal at $6.50 against a $7.80 menu price; the item rotates, so check on the day. **Sunday** is now the other day that pays: Guzman y Gomez gives a free Kids Meal with any eligible regular Main on the GYG app, one per GOMEX member, for kids up to 12. **Tuesday and Thursday have no named special**, but they are not empty. KFC's Chicken Tuesday, the 5-pieces-for-$9.95 offer most people are thinking of, last ran in April 2026 and has not returned; what covers those days instead is KFC's standing coupon wall at kfc.com.sg/Coupon/Promotion, which runs daily to 30 September and includes a $5.40 American Twister Meal at breakfast, an $11 3pc Chicken Meal and a $7.90 BBQ Pockett Meal, plus Burger King's e-coupons, which cost the same on a Tuesday as on a Sunday. Beyond weekdays the calendar deals are date-based: GYG's $3 Brekkie Burrito on the 3rd of every month during breakfast hours (next on 3 October), and McDonald's Pre-Payday run around the 20th to the 25th. So the things to diarise are Monday to Friday, Sunday, the 3rd, and pre-payday week, and on any other day the coupon walls are where the value is.

Can I use CDC vouchers or stack these with other discounts?

CDC Vouchers generally aren't accepted at the big fast-food chains. They are meant for participating heartland merchants, hawkers and supermarkets, so save your $500 for groceries and neighbourhood food rather than McDonald's or Burger King. Stacking is also mostly off the table: chain promotions are typically standalone, KFC limits you to one deal per order per day, and Burger King coupons are redeemed one code at a time. The exception worth checking is bank-card or delivery-app promotions, which sometimes layer on top of a chain's own pricing. Confirm in the app or at the kiosk before paying, since terms differ by chain and change often.
