Mr Bean Is Running 1-for-1 Soy Drinks Today Only, Sunday 20 September 2026

Mr Bean posted it to its own Facebook page at about 7.30 this morning: 1-for-1 on soy drinks for one day, Sunday 20 September 2026, under its Singapore's Soymilk Sunday banner. The terms are unusually broad, because the only line of fine print is an exclusion list of four drinks (Grass Jelly Drink, Soy Latte hot and iced, Viet Coffee hot and iced, and Icy Viet Coffee), which leaves the rest of the menu in. Mr Bean's own artwork prices it from $2.30, or roughly $1.15 a cup on the cheapest pair, with no code, no app and no membership needed. Two things the poster does not tell you: the brand never states which drink is free when the two are priced differently, and nine of the 76 outlets on Mr Bean's own store locator are shut on Sundays, including Capital Tower, Mapletree Business City, Fusionopolis One, The Metropolis and four polyclinic or campus kiosks.

Mr Bean posted this to its own Facebook page at about 7.30 this morning, and it runs for one day: 1-for-1 on soy drinks all day today, Sunday 20 September 2026, under the chain's "Singapore's Soymilk Sunday" banner.

> Quick view: 1-for-1 on every Mr Bean drink except four, today only (Sun 20 Sep 2026), across the 76 Singapore outlets on the chain's own store locator. Mr Bean's artwork prices the deal from $2.30, which works out to about $1.15 a cup on the cheapest pair. No code, no app and no membership. Nine outlets on that locator are shut on Sundays, so check yours before you walk over.

What the offer is

The wording on Mr Bean's post is short and unusually broad: "Enjoy 1-FOR-1 soy drinks* TODAY (20 Sep 2026)". The asterisk leads to a single line of terms, and that line is an exclusion list rather than a list of what qualifies. In other words the default is that a drink is in, unless it appears on the short list below.

There is nothing to sign up for. The post names no promo code, no app, no membership tier and no minimum spend. It is a counter deal.

The four drinks that are excluded

Mr Bean's own terms name these, and only these:

  • Grass Jelly Drink
  • Soy Latte (Hot and Iced)
  • Viet Coffee (Hot and Iced)
  • Icy Viet Coffee

One wrinkle worth knowing at the counter. The exclusion is written as Grass Jelly Drink, while the soya milk range on mrbean.com.sg separately lists a Grass Jelly Soya Milk. Those read as two different products, so the soya milk version may well still qualify. Ask before you order rather than assuming either way.

The price, and the one thing the brand does not spell out

The campaign artwork carries its own price anchor: FROM $2.30. Pair two of those and you are paying about $1.15 a cup, which is the floor rather than the typical outcome, because the cheapest drink on the menu is not the Taro Jewel or the Lychee on the poster.

What Mr Bean's post does not say is how a mismatched pair is priced. If you order a $2.30 drink and a $4 drink, the caption does not state which one is free. On past runs of this promotion the cheaper of the two has been the complimentary one, which is the safer assumption to plan around: pair two drinks of similar price and you get close to half off, pair an expensive one with a cheap one and you save only the cheap one's value. Confirm at the counter, because it is the brand, not us, that sets this.

Nine outlets on the locator are closed today

This is the detail the poster cannot tell you, and it matters more than usual because the deal lasts exactly one day and lands on a Sunday. Mr Bean's store locator lists 76 Singapore outlets: 23 in the west, 22 in the east, 14 in the north, 13 central and 4 south. Of those, nine are closed on Sundays, mostly the office-park and polyclinic kiosks:

OutletRegion
Khatib PolyclinicNorth
Capital Tower (168 Robinson Road)Central
Mapletree Business CitySouth
Bukit Batok PolyclinicWest
Choa Chu Kang PolyclinicWest
Fusionopolis OneWest
NTU North Spine PlazaWest
Pioneer PolyclinicWest
The Metropolis (North Buona Vista)West

One more to watch: the NUS UTown outlet opens 8am to 7.30pm on Sundays in term time, but its school-holiday hours list Sunday as closed. The mall and MRT-station outlets are the safe bets, and most of those run to between 9.30pm and 10pm.

The two drinks on the artwork

Mr Bean is using the promotion to push two in particular, both shown on the poster with their Nutri-Grade marks:

  • Taro Jewel Soymilk, flagged "limited time only", Nutri-Grade C at 5% sugar
  • Lychee Soymilk, Nutri-Grade B at 3% sugar

The rest of the soya milk range on Mr Bean's own site, and none of it appears on the exclusion list, covers Classic Soya Milk, Black Soya Milk, Pearly Soya Milk, Pearly Taro Soya Milk, Pearly Bandung Soya Milk, Watermelon Soya Milk and Icy Sea Salt Chendol.

What it means for you

A one-day drinks deal is only worth a detour if it is on your way, and this one is: Mr Bean's estate is built around MRT stations, neighbourhood malls and polyclinics rather than destinations. If you are already passing one today, the useful move is to bring someone, order two similarly priced drinks rather than one cheap and one expensive, and skip the coffees, which are the bulk of what has been carved out.

The poster also carries the halal certification mark, which is the usual position for the chain.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which Mr Bean drinks are not included in the 1-for-1 on 20 September 2026?

Mr Bean's own terms name four, and only four: Grass Jelly Drink, Soy Latte (hot and iced), Viet Coffee (hot and iced) and Icy Viet Coffee. Everything else on the drinks menu is in by default, because the fine print is written as an exclusion list rather than a list of eligible items. One thing to clarify at the counter: the exclusion says Grass Jelly Drink, while Mr Bean's own website separately lists a Grass Jelly Soya Milk in its soya milk range. Those read as two different products, so the soya milk version may still qualify. Ask before ordering.

Do I need a code, the app or a membership to get the Mr Bean 1-for-1?

No. Mr Bean's Facebook post names no promo code, no app, no membership tier and no minimum spend. It is a counter deal: order two eligible drinks and the offer is applied at the till. The one thing the brand does not spell out is how a mismatched pair is priced. If you order a $2.30 drink and a $4 drink, the post does not say which one is free. On past runs of the same promotion the cheaper of the two has been the complimentary drink, so the safer way to plan is to pair two similarly priced drinks. Terms and conditions apply and are set by Mr Bean, so confirm at the counter.

Are all Mr Bean outlets open on Sunday 20 September 2026?

No, and this matters because the deal runs for one day only. Mr Bean's own store locator lists 76 Singapore outlets, and nine of them show Sunday as closed: Khatib Polyclinic, Capital Tower on Robinson Road, Mapletree Business City, Bukit Batok Polyclinic, Choa Chu Kang Polyclinic, Fusionopolis One, NTU North Spine Plaza, Pioneer Polyclinic and The Metropolis at North Buona Vista. The NUS UTown outlet opens 8am to 7.30pm on Sundays in term time but lists Sunday as closed during school holidays. Mall and MRT-station outlets are the reliable ones, and most trade until between 9.30pm and 10pm. Check your nearest store on mrbean.com.sg before heading down.
