Mr Bean posted this to its own Facebook page at about 7.30 this morning, and it runs for one day: 1-for-1 on soy drinks all day today, Sunday 20 September 2026, under the chain's "Singapore's Soymilk Sunday" banner.

What the offer is
The wording on Mr Bean's post is short and unusually broad: "Enjoy 1-FOR-1 soy drinks* TODAY (20 Sep 2026)". The asterisk leads to a single line of terms, and that line is an exclusion list rather than a list of what qualifies. In other words the default is that a drink is in, unless it appears on the short list below.
There is nothing to sign up for. The post names no promo code, no app, no membership tier and no minimum spend. It is a counter deal.
The four drinks that are excluded
Mr Bean's own terms name these, and only these:
- Grass Jelly Drink
- Soy Latte (Hot and Iced)
- Viet Coffee (Hot and Iced)
- Icy Viet Coffee
One wrinkle worth knowing at the counter. The exclusion is written as Grass Jelly Drink, while the soya milk range on mrbean.com.sg separately lists a Grass Jelly Soya Milk. Those read as two different products, so the soya milk version may well still qualify. Ask before you order rather than assuming either way.
The price, and the one thing the brand does not spell out
The campaign artwork carries its own price anchor: FROM $2.30. Pair two of those and you are paying about $1.15 a cup, which is the floor rather than the typical outcome, because the cheapest drink on the menu is not the Taro Jewel or the Lychee on the poster.
What Mr Bean's post does not say is how a mismatched pair is priced. If you order a $2.30 drink and a $4 drink, the caption does not state which one is free. On past runs of this promotion the cheaper of the two has been the complimentary one, which is the safer assumption to plan around: pair two drinks of similar price and you get close to half off, pair an expensive one with a cheap one and you save only the cheap one's value. Confirm at the counter, because it is the brand, not us, that sets this.
Nine outlets on the locator are closed today
This is the detail the poster cannot tell you, and it matters more than usual because the deal lasts exactly one day and lands on a Sunday. Mr Bean's store locator lists 76 Singapore outlets: 23 in the west, 22 in the east, 14 in the north, 13 central and 4 south. Of those, nine are closed on Sundays, mostly the office-park and polyclinic kiosks:

One more to watch: the NUS UTown outlet opens 8am to 7.30pm on Sundays in term time, but its school-holiday hours list Sunday as closed. The mall and MRT-station outlets are the safe bets, and most of those run to between 9.30pm and 10pm.
The two drinks on the artwork
Mr Bean is using the promotion to push two in particular, both shown on the poster with their Nutri-Grade marks:
- Taro Jewel Soymilk, flagged "limited time only", Nutri-Grade C at 5% sugar
- Lychee Soymilk, Nutri-Grade B at 3% sugar
The rest of the soya milk range on Mr Bean's own site, and none of it appears on the exclusion list, covers Classic Soya Milk, Black Soya Milk, Pearly Soya Milk, Pearly Taro Soya Milk, Pearly Bandung Soya Milk, Watermelon Soya Milk and Icy Sea Salt Chendol.

What it means for you
A one-day drinks deal is only worth a detour if it is on your way, and this one is: Mr Bean's estate is built around MRT stations, neighbourhood malls and polyclinics rather than destinations. If you are already passing one today, the useful move is to bring someone, order two similarly priced drinks rather than one cheap and one expensive, and skip the coffees, which are the bulk of what has been carved out.
The poster also carries the halal certification mark, which is the usual position for the chain.
