The four sets, and the likely bill
| Set | Poster price | Weight printed | With 10% service charge and 9% GST |
|---|---|---|---|
| Chicken | $5.90 | 100g | about $7.07 |
| Karubi & Pork Belly | $8.90 | 100g | about $10.67 |
| Karubi & 3pcs Tiger Prawn | $10.90 | Not printed | about $13.07 |
| Karubi & Rosu & Mini Cheese Sausage | $13.90 | Not printed | about $16.67 |
The Tea Time post and poster do not mention service charge or GST. We have added them in the last column because Yakiniku LIKE's 2-30 Nov members' poster says prices are subject to a 10% service charge and prevailing GST. The poster photographs each set with rice, soup and a small side, and the post does not itemise what comes with them.
Is it a good price?
The $8.90 set is the easiest one to judge. When we read Yakiniku LIKE's prices in September for our yakiniku guide, a 100g Pork Belly Set was $8.90 and a 100g Karubi Set was $10.90. At Tea Time, the same $8.90 buys a mix of karubi and pork belly, assuming those September prices still hold.
The $5.90 Chicken Set is the cheapest way in. The brand's own online-ordering menu listed 100g of grilled chicken alone at $6.60 on 4 November, with no rice or soup. That is a different channel from dine-in, so treat it as a rough guide.
The post advertises savings of "up to 40%", but it does not print usual prices or say which set that figure refers to, so we cannot confirm it.
The fine print
- Weekdays, 3pm to 5pm only. Those are the only hours named. The post does not say whether the order must be placed or finished by 5pm, so arrive with time to spare.
- Public holidays and their eves are out. That rules out Mon 9 Nov (Deepavali holiday), Thu 24, Fri 25 and Thu 31 Dec, and Fri 1 Jan 2027.
- No end date. The post went up on Tue 3 Nov 2026 and gives no closing date, so it could end at short notice.
- Other promotions are unclear. The post does not say whether the sets stack with member offers. A separate free-upsize post from 25 Oct, which also features the Karubi & Pork Belly and Karubi & 3pcs Tiger Prawn sets, says it cannot be combined with other promotions. Ask before you order.

Tips
- Members can ask about the free juice. A 23 Oct post offers Foodie San members a free Japanese Apple Yuzu or Apple Orange Juice with any purchase until 20 Nov, or while stocks last. It does not mention Tea Time, so check the app or ask the staff.
- Skip the 15% off for a solo meal. The members' 15% off in November needs a $50 nett spend, which is well above any single Tea Time set.
- Pick Friday 6 Nov over the long weekend. Monday 9 Nov is excluded, so it is the last working-day slot before the holiday.
