From an $11.90 heartland grill set to a $280++ wagyu omakase, these are Singapore's seven best yakiniku restaurants, with every buffet price, kids' rate and wastage rule read off the restaurants' own menus on 13 September 2026, plus the deals running now, including half-price A5 wagyu at Yakiniku Like and BYOB at Tajimaya.
Yakiniku is having a moment in Singapore, and the prices now run from an $11.90 set to a $280++ omakase.

The Japanese chain (run here by Reins International) is the easiest yakiniku buffet to plan around, because every tier is printed on one card. Family Buffet $38.80++ (30+ dishes, Monday to Thursday only, not on public holidays or their eves), Signature Buffet $54.80++ (60+ dishes, adds dragon karubi, diamond-cut misuji and negishio tongue), Premium Buffet $79.80++ (80+ dishes with Australian wagyu, king harami and thick-cut tongue) and Wagyu Buffet $98.80++ (adds Japanese wagyu nakaochi, karubi and sukiyaki). Every course is 90 minutes with last order 20 minutes before the end, the whole table must take the same course, soft drinks are $4.80 extra, and wastage is charged at $10 per 100g. Two outlets: CHIJMES, 30 Victoria Street #01-01/02 (weekdays 12pm-3pm and 5.30pm-10pm, weekends and PH 12pm-10pm), and VivoCity #02-01/02 (daily 11.30am-10pm). BEST FOR: families and groups who want wagyu without à la carte maths.
Kids aged 12 and below pay 50% of the adult price on all four buffets (max 2 kids per paying adult). Gyu-Kaku's latest post (14 Aug) also adds free-flow F1 Japanese Wagyu Sukiyaki and Wagyu Nakaochi to the $79.80++ Premium Buffet at both outlets, for a limited time while stocks last.
Tajimaya (Creative Eateries) grills over real charcoal with a proper exhaust system, which is the difference you taste. The Premium Wagyu Buffet is $59.90++ at lunch and $69.90++ at dinner for 100 minutes, with children aged 5 to 10 at $30.90++ and $35.90++, plus $3 on Friday to Sunday, public holidays and eves. The spread covers MS6/7 Australian wagyu short ribs, oyster blade and short plate, Kurobuta pork belly, Iberico collar and ox tongue, and a $49.90 A5 Japanese wagyu platter can be added on top. Unconsumed food is charged at $30 per 100g. Prefer à la carte? Deluxe sets start from $15.80++, and a 90-minute beverage buffet runs $38++ to $68++ with the wagyu buffet. One outlet: Great World, 1 Kim Seng Promenade #B1-115 (opposite llao llao). Mon-Thu 11.30am-3pm and 5.30pm-10pm; Fri-Sun, PH and eves 11.30am-10pm. Two private rooms seat up to 10. Tenkaichi at Marina Square has been grilling since 2013 and has the lowest buffet floor on this list. Standard Buffet (beef, pork and chicken, no seafood) is $29.80++ Monday to Thursday and $35.80++ Friday to Sunday and PH, with a $22.80++ student price at weekday lunch (up to secondary school). Deluxe adds three sashimi, Iberico pork, Angus beef and Australian wagyu for $64.80++ / $69.80++, and Premium brings ten sashimi and Kagoshima A4-A5 wagyu for $94.80++ / $99.80++, with seniors $5 off those two. Children 90-120cm pay $18.80++ to $39.80++ by tier. Buffets need a minimum of 2 adults, the whole table takes the same tier, dining is capped at 90 minutes, and buffet diners must be seated 90 minutes before closing. The fast-casual chain from Japan built its name on one-person grills: each diner gets their own smokeless grill at a counter seat. It is the best option on this list for eating yakiniku alone or on a weekday lunch break. Its A5 Wagyu Set (150g with rice, soup and a side) usually costs $25.90, while the à la carte A5 wagyu is $23.90 for 100g, so the set is already the better buy. Prices are subject to 10% service charge and GST. RE&S's yakiniku chain is the budget pick for a sit-down grill in a neighbourhood mall. Its March 2026 menu runs on a Meat It Yourself format: Light Eater 100g $11.90 (up to 2 meats), Just Right 200g $17.90 (up to 4) and Hearty Appetite 300g $23.90 (up to 6), each with rice, soup and kimchi or salad. Meats include karubi, pork karubi, chicken, ribeye slice, rib finger, misuji slice and lamb, with a 50g A5 wagyu of the day at +$5.90. Grills are electric with a built-in exhaust, so you do not leave smelling of smoke, and there are seven house tare sauces. Outlets: The Seletar Mall, Jurong Point, NEX, JEM and Parkway Parade, plus Yakiniku-GO Plus at Suntec City, which adds Japanese wagyu platters and takes reservations. Most outlets open 11am or 11.30am to 10pm, last order 9.15pm. BEST FOR: an affordable family dinner close to home.
Meat Bomb Mystery Gacha at all outlets: 1 Meat Bomb $4.90, 2 for $8.90, 3 for $10.90. Each is a gacha draw with a filling from kimchi or egg up to rare jumbo oyster and foie gras, or ultra-rare wagyu and Jeju pork. While stocks last.
The Hong Kong group behind Wa-En (recommended in the Hong Kong MICHELIN guide in 2016 and 2017) serves Miyazaki A4 and A5 wagyu at Jewel Changi Airport, and it is the most accessible way to eat Miyazaki beef all you can. The Wagyu Buffet menu lists $168 per person (minimum 2 pax per order, before GST and service charge), with kids below 140cm at $68 and below 90cm free, and each session includes one signature Miyazaki sirloin for two. It runs all day. Read the wastage rule twice: $50 per 10g left on the table. If a buffet is too much, weekday lunch sets start from $16++ (Mon-Fri 11am-3.15pm, not PH), and there is a Weekday Value Course menu. The splurge. YakiniQuest is a Japanese beef yakiniku specialist that sells wagyu as set courses and omakase menus, so it is closer to a tasting menu than to a buffet. Weekday lunch is the way in: the ICHI-mai whole-slice Wagyu Ribeye Lunch Set at $48++ or the Go-sen 5-cut Wagyu Lunch Set at $68++, with Omakase CHIC $88++ and Omakase APPETITE $128++ also at lunch. Dinner courses are Omakase CLASSIC $138++, Omakase QUEST $188++ and THE OMAKASE from $280++ (minimum 2 pax, book at least a week ahead). Every adult must order a course or set, and there is a cancellation fee within 24 hours of $20 per person at lunch and $50 at dinner. Address: 333A Orchard Road #04-08/09/10, Mandarin Gallery.
