These are the 8 best high tea deals live right now (October 2026), from Concorde Hotel's flat $16++ set and Mercure Bugis' true 1-for-1 Royale Afternoon Tea (just $25++/pax with almost any bank card), to voco Orchard's weekend local buffet, which needs no bank card at all, and W Sentosa Cove's $58++ Swarovski afternoon tea at up to 50% off. Three things changed for October. Goodwood Park's no-card $55 anniversary rate ended on 21 September, but Maybank's October offer at L'Espresso is more generous than September's: 50% off for two, three or four diners on the new 'Pretty in Kunafa' buffet. voco Orchard's Sunday buffet is now $108++ for two ($54++ each), with an Old Chang Kee collaboration on Sundays from 4 October to 29 November. And Maybank labels its Goodwood offer 'ending soon': both Maybank half-price high teas here, at Goodwood and The Fullerton, stop on 31 October. Ginger.Lily's Shisen Hanten botanical tea (from $68++) runs only to 3 November. The deal is a genuine 1-for-1, so you buy one set at $50++ and the second is free, making it effectively $25++ per person. What makes it the crowd favourite is how easy it is to unlock: you just need a DBS/POSB, Maybank, OCBC or Citi card, which covers almost everyone. If you are a group rather than a pair, note that the 1-for-1 only helps even numbers. ALL Accor+ Explorer members get 30% off instead, for up to 10 diners, which works out better from about five people up. The quiet budget champion. Concorde Hotel Singapore runs a flat-price Afternoon Tea Special at just $16++ per person, with no credit card, no membership and no code required. You won't get a towering three-tier spread here; you pick either Peranakan canapés (handcrafted Nonya kuehs, chewy kueh lapis, otah toast) or Western ones (gourmet sandwiches, cakes and French macarons), with freshly brewed coffee or a Twinings tea. At this price it's the cheapest genuine hotel afternoon tea in town, and the hotel lists it as running right through 31 December 2026. It's served at Spices Café, the hotel's all-day dining restaurant at 100 Orchard Road; call +65 6739 8370 to reserve and confirm the sitting times, which the offer page still doesn't publish.BEST FOR: a low-key, low-cost catch-up, or anyone who doesn't hold the 'right' bank card for the 1-for-1 deals.

The most generous spread on the 1-for-1 tier, and the easiest to get. voco has retired the old 'Local High Tea' name, and its hawker-inspired spread now runs as Weekend Makan: Local Lunch Buffet at Opus Bar & Grill. Both days carry chicken satay, DIY rojak, ngoh hiang, dim sum and a roasted meat station with roast duck, roast pork belly and Hainanese chicken rice, finished with D9 Cakery's cheesecake and pound cake, nyonya kueh and old-school ice cream in red bean, chendol and yam, plus an 'Uncle Tan Mama Shop' corner of childhood snacks. Saturdays 12pm to 3pm are a semi-buffet with a choice of main, either Singapore Laksa with Rock Lobster or Mee Rebus with Black Angus Beef Cheek, 1-for-1 at $88++ for two adults, so $44++ each. Sundays 12pm to 3pm are a FULL buffet that adds gueridon-style Lobster Kueh Pie Tee, an oyster omelette live station and freshly made muah chee. The Sunday price has gone up as voco warned it would: the $98++ promotional rate ended on 27 September, and Sunday is now 1-for-1 at $108++ for two, or $54++ each. From 4 October to 29 November, Sundays also carry a collaboration with Old Chang Kee. voco's terms name no qualifying bank card or promo code, so anyone can book the 1-for-1 directly. Children are $28++ (6 to 12) and free at 5 and under; the 1-for-1 is for adult diners aged 13 and above, and bills, tables and reservations cannot be split. Free-flow still and sparkling water, speciality coffee and artisanal tea are included. One diary note: the buffet does not run at all on 10 and 11 October 2026. It is built around Swarovski's mastery of light: sweet and savoury bites inspired by crystal reflections, jewel tones and the brand's iconic swan. The price is unchanged at $58++ per person, including free-flow selected TWG teas and Tanamera coffee, and you can add a glass of R de Ruinart champagne for $25++. It is served daily 3pm to 5pm, with advance reservation of at least one hour required, and it still includes complimentary WET Deck pool access from 5pm to 7pm (a minimum spend applies for cabanas, day beds and day sofas), which quietly makes this the best-value afternoon on the list if you stay on. The discount outlives the menu: W Singapore - Sentosa Cove is a listed Love Dining @ Hotels venue through 31 December 2026, and 'W Afternoon Tea, available 3PM-5PM daily' is a named qualifying item. The savings ladder is inverted from what you would expect: a Card Member plus one guest gets 50%, three adults 35%, four adults 25%, five to ten adults 20%, and dining alone only 15%. So this is a deal built for exactly two people, taking $58++ down to roughly $29++ each. L'Espresso at Goodwood Park Hotel is a Singapore institution for English and European afternoon tea, laid out to graze rather than served as a fixed set, and for October and November it runs as the 'Pretty in Kunafa' Afternoon Tea Buffet for Breast Cancer Awareness Month: Baked Salmon Filo Parcel with Herb Aioli and Ikura, Wagyu Beef Cheek, Crispy Prawn Kataifi, Ruby Chocolate Kunafa Brownie and Kunafa Vanilla Panna Cotta among the spread, with $2 nett from every paying adult going to the Breast Cancer Foundation. The hotel's L'Espresso page lists $65 per adult Mon to Thu (a single sitting, 2pm to 5.30pm) and $68 Fri to Sun and public holidays (12pm to 2.30pm and 3pm to 5.30pm), before 10% service charge and taxes, while the Kunafa promotion page quotes $68++ per adult daily and $46++ per child, so confirm the rate when you book. September's no-card 126th anniversary rate of $55 ended on 21 September. The Courtyard sits under the atrium of the old General Post Office building, and until 15 November 2026 it is serving the Antonio Bachour Afternoon Tea, a collaboration with the Puerto Rican pastry chef. The savouries are the serious half, Creme Fraiche Tart with Caviar, Mini Lobster Roll and Lox & Choux, with Exotic Pressed Sable, Berries Shortcake and a Coconut Panna Cotta with Guava Soup on the sweet side, plus freshly baked Vanilla Bean Scones and a Mango Brioche, and a pot of coffee or tea. List price is $75++ per adult and $45++ per child aged 6 to 11, which is the dearest set here at rack rate. The Mao Shan Wang Durian Afternoon Tea that ran here from 1 July finished on 31 August, and the Lobby Lounge has replaced it with the Quintessential English Afternoon Tea, running 1 September to 31 October 2026. It is a more traditional tower: Strawberry Panna Cotta Verrine, Chocolate Gateau and a Raspberry Rose Lychee Ispahan Macaron on the sweet side, with savouries such as a Smoked Chicken Tartlet with Salsa Verde, a Beetroot Tartlet with Avocado and a weekend-only Smoked Salmon and Cucumber Mayonnaise Sandwich. Every set includes two types of free-flow canapes of the day, unlimited TWG tea and Lavazza coffee, and weekends add a flute of champagne or sparkling tea. It is $48++/pax Mon to Thu, where seats are limited, and $58++/pax Fri to Sun and public holidays. Quote 'LL20OFF' when you reserve for 20% off Friday to Sunday, excluding public holidays and special occasions, which brings the weekend rate to about $46++, still below the weekday price. Duval-Leroy Brut champagne is $18++ a flute, or $68++ per person for 90 minutes of free flow. The Orchard Road showpiece, and the priciest set here, so go in knowing that. The menu has turned over since our last check: the seasonal 'A Botanical Afternoon Tea: from Root to Bloom' that this guide carried is gone, replaced by a Botanical Afternoon Tea built with MICHELIN-starred Shisen Hanten by Chen Kentaro, where bold Szechwan flavours run through the sweets and savouries, crafted by Executive Sous Chef Cindy Khoo with Executive Chef Chen Kentaro. The room is unchanged and still one of the glossiest lounges on the strip. There is no 1-for-1, and the price has moved up with the menu: it is now from $68++ per diner, against $65++ before, inclusive of unlimited coffee and tea, and Hilton sets a minimum of two diners, so this is not one for a solo afternoon. The discount comes from Hilton Honors: signing up is free and gets Base and Silver members 10% off, about $61++ a head, while Gold, Diamond and Diamond Reserve members get 25% off, about $51++, so the headline 25% really needs elite status. Served Mon to Fri 12pm to 7pm and Sat, Sun and public holidays 11.30am to 7pm, with last orders at 6.30pm. Two dates now matter where previously Hilton published none: the tea itself runs 3 August to 3 November 2026, and the Honors dining discount is dated 1 February to 31 December 2026, blacked out on public holidays and their eves, on special occasions and on selected blackout dates. A quick note on "++": most hotel prices are quoted before 10% service charge and 9% GST, so a "$25++" set works out to about $30 nett. We have kept the "++" so you can compare like for like. Prices, cards and end dates are as listed by each venue when we checked on 2 October 2026. Always confirm when you book.
This is the single most common mix-up, so it is worth separating out. Most "high tea" in Singapore arrives as a fixed tiered stand: pretty, photogenic and finite. Only two of the eight above let you go back for more, and one more is a laid-out semi-buffet.
The other six (Mercure Bugis, Concorde, WOOBAR, The Courtyard, Marriott's Quintessential English Afternoon Tea and Ginger.Lily) are fixed sets or towers.
What happened to the cheapest buffet-style high tea: until 4 September that was the 1-for-1 Straits Indulgence spread at Hari's Lobby Lounge & Bar, Holiday Inn Singapore Orchard, at an effective $39++ a head with no card at all. It ended on its published date with no successor, and Hari's has since put up a notice that it is temporarily closed for upgrading works, so we have removed it. The same hotel's live 1-for-1 is now a Crab & Lobster Buffet dinner, S$168++ for two adults, Thursday to Sunday 6pm to 10pm from 10 September to 22 November 2026, which is a different meal altogether.
Best value tip: the cheapest seats are Monday to Thursday, when Goodwood Park's dining page lists $65 against $68 at the weekend, and Marriott's set is $48++ instead of $58++. Two caps decide whether the Goodwood Maybank deal is even available on the day you want it: Maybank limits it to the first 150 redemptions for the whole of October, and to just 10 a day from Friday to Sunday, so weekend seats on that rate are genuinely scarce. The Fullerton's Maybank offer is capped at 100 a month but has no weekend sub-cap. Both end on 31 October, and Maybank already labels its Goodwood offer 'ending soon'. Book at least three days ahead by email for Goodwood either way.

Both are far below the $60 to $80 per person you will pay at premium hotel lounges. If you want the cheapest unlimited buffet rather than a set, that is L'Espresso at Goodwood Park with Maybank's October offer: 50% off for two, three or four diners, so about $32.50 to $34 each, till 31 October 2026 or until the first 150 redemptions are used. Goodwood's no-card $55 anniversary rate ended on 21 September, so without a Maybank card that buffet is back at full price.

There is no difference in practice. 'Hi tea' is simply how the term is commonly written in Singapore and Malaysia, and hotels use both spellings on their own menus. Whether you search for a hi tea buffet or a high tea buffet, you will get the same thing: an afternoon spread of savouries, scones or kueh and cakes, served in a fixed sitting, usually somewhere between noon and 5pm. Strictly speaking the British original distinguishes afternoon tea (dainty, mid-afternoon, on a tiered stand) from high tea (a heavier early supper at a high dining table), but Singapore uses all three terms interchangeably for the hotel afternoon spread. So do not read anything into the wording on a promotion. Check the actual format instead: is it an unlimited buffet or a fixed set, what is the sitting time, and what is the price after the discount?
No. Marina Bay Sands does not run a 1-for-1 afternoon tea, and the venue most people are thinking of has changed. Renku Bar & Lounge, which used to serve the best-known high tea at MBS, is now called The Club, and since 1 July 2026 access has been restricted to hotel guests and selected Sands LifeStyle, Sands Rewards Club and Paiza members. Its current menus are all-day dining, set lunch and late night, with no afternoon tea listed. MBS's own high tea guide now points to Miracle Coffee, Angelina, Bacha Coffee, TWG Tea Salon & Boutique, PS.Cafe and the Paiza Sky Residence, all of them a la carte or set tea at full price. If a 1-for-1 is what you actually want, the nearest equivalents are on this list: Royale at Mercure Bugis at $25++ a head with almost any bank card, and voco Orchard's weekend local buffet at $44++ to $54++ a head with no card at all. The no-card 1-for-1 at Hari's, Holiday Inn Orchard, which we used to point people to here, ended on 4 September 2026 and the venue has closed for upgrading works.

Several venues now require it in writing or by phone: L'Espresso needs an email at least 3 days ahead quoting GWPLExMaybank, WOOBAR wants 'AmexLD' in the notes at least 48 hours ahead for the Love Dining discount and at least an hour's notice for the tea itself, The Courtyard at The Fullerton takes reservations on +65 6877 8911 or by email and needs you to quote 'Maybank Promotion' (a credit card is also required to hold any booking for two or more, though nothing is charged then), and Marriott's Lobby Lounge asks for at least one day. Booking also lets you flag the promo so the deal is applied smoothly. Sittings are usually short windows, with many running only 2:30 to 5pm or 3 to 5pm, so aim to arrive at the start of the sitting to get the full spread while it is freshly stocked. Walk-ins are possible at quieter spots like Concorde on weekdays, but weekends and Orchard Road venues almost always need a booking.

L'Espresso at Goodwood Park Hotel is the full English one, where scones, savoury tarts, Wagyu, cakes and pastries are laid out to graze; for October and November it runs as the 'Pretty in Kunafa' Afternoon Tea Buffet. Its dining page lists $65 per adult Mon to Thu and $68 Fri to Sun and public holidays before service charge and tax, and Maybank's October offer takes 50% off for two, three or four diners, roughly $32.50 to $34 each, till 31 October. The second is Opus Bar & Grill at voco Orchard, whose Sunday 12pm to 3pm sitting is a full buffet, 1-for-1 at $108++ for two, so $54++ each, with an Old Chang Kee collaboration from 4 October to 29 November. One more is buffet-style rather than a tower: voco's Saturday 12pm to 3pm sitting is a semi-buffet with a choice of main, $88++ 1-for-1 for two, so $44++ each. That leaves six fixed sets: Mercure Bugis, Concorde, WOOBAR, The Courtyard at The Fullerton, Ginger.Lily and Marriott's Quintessential English Afternoon Tea. The cheapest high tea buffet used to be the Straits Indulgence spread at Hari's, Holiday Inn Orchard, at $39++ a head, but it ended on 4 September 2026 and the venue is closed for upgrading works. If your priority is eating a lot rather than eating prettily, go for L'Espresso or voco.
Weekdays win. L'Espresso at Goodwood Park lists $65 per adult Mon to Thu against $68 Fri to Sun and public holidays, so Maybank's October 50% off works out at about $32.50 each midweek against $34 at the weekend, and it now covers groups of up to four. Maybank also caps that deal at 10 redemptions a day from Friday to Sunday, out of 150 in total, so weekend seats run out first. (The no-card $55 weekday anniversary rate ended on 21 September.) Marriott's Quintessential English Afternoon Tea is $48++ Mon to Thu against $58++ Fri to Sun, and although the LL20OFF code cuts the weekend rate to about $46++, that is still above the weekday price, so the code narrows the gap rather than closing it. WOOBAR, The Courtyard at The Fullerton and Ginger.Lily price the same all week but are much quieter midweek, and the Fullerton's Maybank offer has no weekend sub-cap. The exception is Opus at voco Orchard, whose 1-for-1 local buffet is weekend-only: a Saturday semi-buffet at $44++/pax and a Sunday full buffet at $54++/pax. Mercure Bugis charges the same rate daily, so go whenever. As a rule: go Monday to Thursday for the cheapest high tea buffet, and a weekend at voco for the biggest local spread.
No, and it is worth being precise, because this one is easy to get wrong. None of the eight venues on this list is halal-certified. The mix-up we saw most often concerned Holiday Inn Singapore Orchard, where the halal-certified outlet is Window on the Park, the buffet restaurant, which reopened after renovation on 7 September 2026 and runs its own promotions. It was never Hari's Lobby Lounge & Bar, which is a cocktail bar and serves alcohol; Hari's ran the 1-for-1 Straits Indulgence High Tea until 4 September 2026 and is now closed for upgrading works, so that route is gone in any case. The same caution applies to the deals still on this list: a hotel having halal options elsewhere on the property, or being described as Muslim-friendly, is not certification. If halal certification is a requirement, check MUIS's own certified-premises directory, note that certification is held per outlet rather than per hotel, and confirm directly with the venue when you book.
