Baskin-Robbins Singapore has taken 31% off all handpacked ice cream for three days, from Saturday 29 to Monday 31 August 2026. The number is not arbitrary. Thirty-one flavours is the brand's founding gimmick, so 31% off is its standing house joke.
> Quick view: 31% off all handpacked ice cream · Sat 29 to Mon 31 Aug 2026 · pints, quarts and half-gallons · in-store at Baskin-Robbins Singapore outlets · no promo code, no minimum spend and no daily time window printed · flavours vary by outlet, while stocks last.
What the official announcement actually says
Baskin-Robbins Singapore posted it on its own Facebook page, and the caption is one line: "Ice Cream Lai! Enjoy 31% off all handpacked from 29 to 31 Aug!", followed by 快点来 and the brand's hashtags.
The poster carries the rest. It is drawn as a black-and-white manga panel: a muscled bull charging out of the surf, mountains behind it, under a brush-stroke headline reading 牛奶来 (niu nai lai), the Chinese half of the same joke. Above it sits 一口入魂,价格直降, roughly "one bite that hits the soul, prices straight down". Across the panel are the only three facts you need: 31%, 29 - 31 AUG, and ALL HANDPACKED.
Handpacked is the format where you pick the flavours
Handpacked is the take-home tub that staff scoop and pack for you at the counter. It comes in pint, quart and half-gallon, and it is a different product from a scoop in a cone, an ice cream cake or the pre-made bars in the freezer.
It is also the only thing in the shop you get to build. On the brand's March 2026 run of this same promotion, a pint or quart took up to two flavours and a half-gallon took up to three. Confirm it at the counter, but if that still holds it is the reason to size up: at 31% off, a half-gallon is three discounted flavours in one purchase, while a pint is one or two.
The catch is that nobody publishes the price
Baskin-Robbins Singapore does not put prices anywhere on its own website. Not on the ice cream page, not on the cakes page, not in a menu PDF. Its only online ordering is a GrabFood link, and delivery menus are priced above the counter, so they are not a fair guide either.
That leaves your outlet's counter board as the only reference, and it means the saving has to be worked out in the shop. The arithmetic is easy enough to do standing in the queue: 31% off is a shade under a third, so multiply by 0.69.
| If the board says | You pay | You save |
|---|---|---|
| $16 | $11.04 | $4.96 |
| $22 | $15.18 | $6.82 |
| $30 | $20.70 | $9.30 |
| $45 | $31.05 | $13.95 |
| $60 | $41.40 | $18.60 |
Those prices are illustrative, not quoted from Baskin-Robbins. The point they make is the one that should decide your order: the percentage is fixed, so the saving scales with the tub. A half-gallon returns roughly double what a quart does.
Fine print worth checking before you queue
- In-store. The announcement covers handpacked tubs bought at the counter and says nothing about delivery. Buy it in the shop.
- All outlets. The caption says all handpacked with no outlet list attached, so read it as islandwide. If you are making a special trip, the store locator on baskinrobbins.com.sg is the place to confirm your outlet is open.
- Flavours vary. Handpacking depends on which tubs your outlet has open at that moment, so the flavour you came for may not be there. Going earlier in the day helps twice over, on both queue and stock.
- While stocks last, and no code or minimum spend is printed anywhere on the artwork or in the caption.
- Assume it does not stack. These 31% runs are normally standalone rather than combinable with other discounts or member offers. Ask at the counter before you count on it.
This deal comes round often, but rarely like this
Baskin-Robbins Singapore has run the same 31% mechanic three times already in 2026: from 23 February to 11 March, restricted to 12pm to 7pm daily; for a single day on 31 March; and for a single day on 31 July.
Measured against that, this is the good one. Three days instead of one, a Saturday and a Sunday inside it, and no daily time window printed on either the poster or the caption, which should mean the discount holds across opening hours rather than one afternoon slot. Miss it and another will almost certainly turn up on a future 31st. What you would be missing is the weekend.
Three practical notes
- Go early. Handpacking is done to order, one tub at a time, and the queue compounds through a Saturday afternoon. Stock of individual flavours also thins as the day goes.
- Bring a cooler bag. A half-gallon is a serious volume of ice cream, and Singapore is Singapore. If you are more than a short ride from a freezer, the bag is the difference between ice cream and milkshake.
- Decide the size at the counter. Since the board is the only place the price appears, price all three sizes before you commit rather than defaulting to the one you always buy.
