Oyster season, officially on: Greenwood Fish Market is running its 14th World Oyster Festival for the whole of July (1–31 July 2026) — and the headline is $2.50++ freshly-shucked House Oysters, all day, every day.
> Quick view: $2.50++ House Oysters at the Quayside Isle (Sentosa) Oyster Bar · walk-in only, 8 seats, no min spend · 25 varieties from 9 countries · à-la-carte $4.95++–$12.95++ (min 2/variety) · Tasting Platter 16 oysters/8 varieties $119.95++ · both outlets · while stocks last · prices before service charge + GST.
The $2.50++ headline
The steal of the festival is $2.50++ per freshly-shucked House Oyster — but it comes with one condition worth reading twice: you have to be seated at the 8-seater Oyster Bar at the Quayside Isle (Sentosa) outlet. It's walk-in only (no reservations for the bar), no minimum spend, and it's first-come-first-served across just 8 seats, all day every day for the whole of July.
That's not fine print so much as a scramble for seats: the bar is small, oysters are flown in in limited quantities, and some varieties sell out daily. Go early, or aim for a weekday afternoon.
25 varieties, 9 countries
For one month, Greenwood flies in 25 oyster varieties from 9 countries — France, the Netherlands, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and more — freshly shucked to order. New for 2026: three French oysters from the celebrated Marennes–Oléron region.
Beyond the House Oyster, you've got two easy ways in:
- À-la-carte specialty oysters — $4.95++ to $12.95++ each, minimum 2 pieces per variety.
- Chef-curated Tasting Platter — 16 oysters across 8 varieties for $119.95++, the simplest way to taste the range in one sitting.
The fine print
- $2.50++ House Oysters are Quayside Isle Oyster Bar only — the other festival pricing applies at both outlets, but the $2.50 bar deal is Sentosa only.
- Walk-in, no reservations, no minimum spend at the Oyster Bar — 8 seats, first-come-first-served.
- While stocks last — limited imports, some varieties sell out daily.
- Prices are before the service charge and GST, so the final bill is a little above the listed '++' figures.
- Dine-in (table reservations available), takeaway and delivery are all options via Greenwood — the $2.50 price is bar-seating only.
Where to go
- Quayside Isle (Sentosa Cove) — 31 Ocean Way, #01-04/05; this is the outlet with the $2.50++ Oyster Bar.
- Bukit Timah — 34 Greenwood Ave; full festival menu (à-la-carte + platter), no $2.50 bar deal.
Tips
- For the $2.50 deal, target off-peak — a weekday afternoon gives you the best shot at one of the 8 bar seats before the popular varieties run down.
- Want to taste widely? The $119.95++ platter (16 oysters, 8 varieties) is the efficient sampler; add à-la-carte pours of anything you love.
- Not near Sentosa? Bukit Timah carries the same 25-variety festival range (just not the bar deal), or order takeaway/delivery from Greenwood's online shop.
