Every florist site in Singapore says "same-day delivery". Almost none of them mean the same thing by it. We checked all 7 on their own terms pages in August 2026: Flower Chimp's banner promises 5pm but its terms drop the weekend cut-off to 2pm, Windflower's "free islandwide" quietly excludes hospitals, the airport, camps and Tuas, The Floral Atelier cuts off at 10.30am and charges S$20 a drop, and Xpressflower publishes a full fee table that starts at S$8. Two of the seven really are free with no conditions. Here is the bouquet floor, the real cut-off and the true delivery cost for each.
Every florist here advertises same-day delivery. Two of them mean something different by it than their own homepage says.

It is open 7 days a week, 363 days a year, and it runs three delivery windows: 9am to 1pm, 2pm to 6pm and 7pm to 10pm, so it is one of only two florists here that will still be at the door after dark.THE CUT-OFF: same-day is 5pm, but Monday to Saturday only. A high-volume regional online florist (it also runs Malaysia, Hong Kong, the Philippines, Indonesia and Australia) with the lowest verified entry price on this list and a 4.8/5 score from more than 5,000 reviews on its own site (its Google listing shows 4.3 from 1,726).THE CUT-OFF, AND THE CATCH: the site banner says "order by 5PM for same-day delivery", but the terms page is stricter and it is the terms that bind. Same-day is 5pm Monday to Friday and 2pm on Saturday and Sunday. Weekend gifting is exactly when people assume the banner and lose the day.THE 60-MINUTE EXPRESS IS NOT ISLANDWIDE: it runs Monday to Friday 10am to 4pm, covers 35 products, and only reaches a listed set of central, eastern and north-eastern areas (Raffles Place through Orchard, Bukit Timah, Toa Payoh, Serangoon, Katong, Bedok, Tampines, Hougang, Punggol, Changi). Beyond the clock, mind the address type. Offices, hospitals, funeral parlours, camps and condos with delivery rules all carry either a surcharge or an outright exclusion depending on the florist. Give a full block and unit number plus a reachable contact, and for sympathy flowers confirm the wake timing so the wreath lands while the family is still there.

This is the most common complaint with flower delivery, and a few checks remove most of the risk. (1) LOOK FOR REAL CUSTOMER PHOTOS. Beyond the styled hero image, check recent Google reviews and the florist's social feeds for what arrangements actually look like on arrival. On Google (13 Sep 2026), Floral Garage rates 4.6 across 1,735 reviews and Flower Chimp 4.3 across 1,726; the 4.8 that Flower Chimp shows on its own site is a separate count of 5,000+ reviews. Either score tells you about consistency, not about your specific bouquet. (2) READ THE SUBSTITUTION POLICY. Flowers are seasonal and perishable, so nearly every florist here reserves the right to substitute blooms or colours of equal value. Flower Chimp's terms go further and allow substitution of flower type, colour, wrapping, ribbon, basket and vase without notice, and state outright that size, shade and stage of bloom may vary from the photo. A fair policy substitutes to a similar look; know which one you have agreed to. (3) CHECK THE STEM COUNT AND SIZE, not the price band. A S$22.90 bouquet and a S$39.90 bouquet can share one product page as two sizes of the same design. (4) TREAT A SUSPICIOUSLY CHEAP DESIGNER LOOK AS A RED FLAG. Good blooms and skilled hands cost money. (5) FOR AN EXACT LOOK, use a boutique or send a reference photo.
