What it means for you
- SIA fares skip December 2026. SIA's window starts on 1 January 2027, so this fair is for next year's trips. For a year-end holiday, only Scoot's fares (from 9 November) reach December.
- The DBS code lasts under 10 hours. It works only from 2pm to 11.59pm on Friday 23 October. Have your dates and passengers ready before 2pm.
- You do not need to queue at Suntec. The fares are the same online until 30 October. Go in person only if you want the lucky draws or the travel-agent packages.
- Every SIA fair fare carries the new SAF levy. It applies to tickets sold from 1 October 2026 for flights leaving Singapore from 1 January 2027, which is every SIA fair ticket: S$1 to S$10.40 in Economy and four times that in Business. Compare fair prices with today's prices, not with last year's fair.
- Southeast Asia trips miss the bank codes. Both the DBS and HSBC codes exclude Southeast Asian destinations, so a Bangkok fare gets no extra card discount from them.
