Singapore's best-known bakkwa brand has priced its 61st-birthday sale around the number 61 — and put the whole thing on its web store only. Bee Cheng Hiang's National Day Sale runs to 10 August 2026 at beechenghiang.com.sg, and the campaign artwork carries an Online Exclusive seal, so this is not a price you can walk into a shop and ask for.

The headline: Minced Pork Bakkwa
The sale's hero is the minced-pork sheet, flagged on the site as an NDP Special:
- 320g — $18.80 (U.P. $23.68). That is $4.88 off, or 20.6%, and it is the entry price the campaign banner leads with.
- 1kg — $56.00 (U.P. $74.00). $18.00 off, more than 24%, and Bee Cheng Hiang's own artwork tags it BEST DEAL.
Do the maths across the two and the kilo wins twice over: at $56 a kilo you are paying about $17.92 per 320g equivalent, so it is marginally cheaper per gram *and* it is one order instead of three.
The two 61%-off snacks
These are the deepest cuts in the sale, and both are mala:
- Mala Crispy Pulled Pork Twist 200g — $10.92 (U.P. $28.00). $17.08 off — the largest dollar saving on any single small item here.
- Mala Golden Crisps 260g — $6.63 (U.P. $17.00), flagged NEW. The cheapest thing in the whole sale.
The mix-and-match tiers — where the gifting maths lives
Two separate "any 2" tiers both run at 36.1% off, and these are the only mechanic in the sale that scales with quantity.

Bee Cheng Hiang's National Day banner puts the pot at more than $610 worth of vouchers to be redeemed, with limited redemptions — so these are first-come-first-served, and claiming early beats claiming on the 9th.

- Spend $88 — free Bakkwa Bites 100g (worth $6.50)
- Spend $108 — free Bakkwa Bites 100g + Seaweed Golden Crisps 260g (worth $23.50)
The step between the two tiers is the interesting bit: $20 more spend buys $17 more in gifts. If your cart is sitting anywhere between $88 and $108, adding a $6.63 packet of Mala Golden Crisps and a $16.70 Bakkwa Layer will get you over the line and pay for itself.
The fine print
- Online only. The National Day Sale artwork is stamped Online Exclusive. Shop counters run their normal menu.
- Vouchers are not automatic. Claim each one on the Vouchers page first; redemptions are limited and first-come-first-served.
- Stacking is not stated. Bee Cheng Hiang does not say whether a collected voucher applies on top of an already-discounted National Day price. Assume not, add both to the cart, and read the total before paying. The one real overlap to test is the 16.1%-off 1kg Bakkwa voucher against the $56 NDP price.
- Everything is delivered. Factor shipping into a small basket — which is another argument for consolidating into one order that also clears the $108 gift tier.
- Bakkwa is a pork product, so this campaign is not halal. The chicken and beef lines are made in the same facility.
- It ends 10 August, the day after National Day — not the 9th, so the long weekend itself is still inside the window, but delivery lead time is not.
How to actually play it
Decide which of three jobs you are doing before you open the site. Snacking: the two mala items, $17.55 for both, done. Feeding people over the long weekend: the $56 kilo of minced pork, ordered early enough to arrive before the 9th. Gifting: two 480g vacuum-packed boxes at 36.1% off, which is both the biggest scaling discount and the easiest way to clear $108 and collect the $23.50 of freebies.
Then, before checkout, take one pass through the Vouchers page — the $16.10 pineapple tart tins and the four $6.10-off sliced boxes cover products that are *not* on the sale list, so for most baskets they are additive rather than competing.
