Thai comfort food, all-you-can-eat, for under $24 nett — that's the pitch behind Bangkok Jam's 19th-anniversary à la carte Thai buffet, running at its Great World outlet for $19.90++ per adult.
> Quick view: $19.90++ adult / $15.90++ child (5–10) · 19 signature Thai dishes, à la carte all-you-can-eat · Mon–Fri 5–8pm only (not Sat/Sun/PH) · min 2 diners · +$7++ premium add-on · Bangkok Jam @ Great World #02-127 · no announced end date — confirm before you go.
What you get
This is an à la carte buffet — you order rounds of freshly-cooked dishes from a set list and they come to your table, rather than helping yourself from a heated steam-tray line. Bangkok Jam has built the spread around 19 signature dishes to mark its 19th anniversary, spanning appetisers, salads, curries, stir-fries, soups and rice.
Expect the crowd-pleasers: Thai/pineapple fried rice, Green Curry Chicken with Thai brinjal, Stir-Fried Thai Minced Basil Pork, Thai-Style Grilled Chicken Skewers, Clear Tom Yum Seafood Soup, Khao Soi pork-ribs noodle, stir-fried greens, and Mango Sticky Rice to finish — as many rounds as you can comfortably eat within the seating.
The price
- $19.90++ per adult — the `++` means 10% service charge + 9% GST on top, so you actually pay about $23.85 nett.
- Children aged 5–10: $15.90++ (roughly $19.05 nett).
- Optional premium add-on, +$7++ per person, unlocks Steamed Seabass with Chilli & Lime, Black Pepper Beef and Moo Ping (Thai grilled pork).
The fine print
- Weekday dinners only — Mon–Fri, 5pm–8pm. Not available on Saturdays, Sundays or public holidays.
- Minimum 2 diners per table.
- One outlet only — Bangkok Jam @ Great World, 1 Kim Seng Promenade, #02-127 (not islandwide).
- No announced end date — it's billed as a limited-time 19th-anniversary buffet, so treat it as while-it-lasts and confirm it's still on before you go.
- No app, code or membership needed — just order the buffet in-store.
Worth knowing
The window is tight at three hours (5–8pm), so book ahead — Bangkok Jam takes reservations (including via Chope) — to get a full seating rather than a rushed last hour. Because it's à la carte cooked-to-order, pace your ordering: send a first wave, then top up the dishes you liked instead of over-ordering upfront. And if you want the seabass and beef, factor in the extra $7++ per head — still comfortably under $32 nett for a premium round.
