> Quick view: DisneyStore.asia, the only official Disney Store channel serving Singapore, closes for good. Last orders 30 September 2026, 11.59pm. Two offers are live: a clearance whose deepest markdowns are a full 50%, and 40% off an add-on item once your basket passes S$70. Disney says sold-out lines are not expected to come back.
Disney has confirmed on its own site that DisneyStore.asia will stop trading in Singapore after 30 September 2026. The notice sits on every page of the store: the site "will continue to operate in Singapore until 30 September 2026, after which your local online store will close."
This is not a mall shop shutting. Singapore has no standalone Disney Store, so the website is the official Disney Store here. After 30 September there is no first-party Disney Store channel in the country at all.
The dates that actually bind
Disney's closing-down FAQ gives three slightly different phrasings, so here is the one that matters:
- Last order: 30 September 2026 at 11.59pm. That is the hard cut-off Disney states.
- Orders placed on or before that time will still be shipped and fulfilled, from what the homepage banner calls its local warehouse.
- The FAQ elsewhere says you can shop "until 1 October 2026", which is the same deadline written from the other side. Treat 11.59pm on 30 September as the wall.
Australia, New Zealand and Malaysia lose the same store on the same day. Disney Store Japan, the US, UK and EU, China, Korea, the Philippines and the Middle East are not affected.
The sale banner understates itself
The store's sale page lists two live offers: "Sale: Up to 40% Off" and "Spend & Save: 40% off with $70+ spend".
That first label is wrong in the customer's favour. Working through the sale grid, the deepest markdowns are not 40%. They are a shade over 50%, which is the opposite of the usual clearance trick. Prices verified on Disney's own Singapore storefront (all in SGD):
| Item | Was | Now | Off |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mickey Mouse Halloween Light-Up Wreath | S$149.90 | S$74.90 | 50% |
| Mickey and Minnie Light-Up Jack-o'-Lantern | S$115.90 | S$57.90 | 50% |
| Joy and Anxiety Reversible Plush Tote, Inside Out 2 | S$75.90 | S$42.90 | 43% |
| Cheshire Cat Glow-in-the-Dark Hooded Blanket | S$65.90 | S$33.90 | 49% |
| Hyacinth Hippo Plush, Fantasia 85th Anniversary | S$55.90 | S$27.90 | 50% |
| Daisy Duck Medium Plush, Summer Collection | S$45.90 | S$25.90 | 44% |
| Chip 'n Dale Halloween Ornament | S$45.90 | S$22.90 | 50% |
| Jafar as Genie Plush Keychain, Aladdin | S$29.90 | S$15.90 | 47% |
| Minnie Mouse Ribbon Plush Keychain | S$29.90 | S$14.90 | 50% |
| R2-D2 Disney 'EAR'esistibles Collectible | S$29.90 | S$14.90 | 50% |
| The Fantastic 4: First Steps Family Pin | S$29.90 | S$14.90 | 50% |
| Pluto 95th Anniversary Collectible Key | S$19.90 | S$9.90 | 50% |
The biggest single saving on the list is the Halloween wreath at S$75 off. The Jack-o'-Lantern, the Cheshire Cat blanket, the Minnie keychain and the Pluto key were all carrying Low in Stock flags when we checked.
The second offer works completely differently
"Spend & Save" is not a discount on your basket. Disney's own terms spell out a purchase-with-purchase mechanic, and the details decide whether it is worth anything to you:
- You get 40% off one nominated promotion product once your basket goes above S$70 (Singapore; Malaysia's threshold is RM250).
- The promotion product does not count towards the S$70. You need S$70 of other goods first, then add it.
- You must add the promotion item to the bag before checkout. It is not applied afterwards.
- The S$70 is measured after other discounts and excludes shipping and handling, customs duties, gift cards, personalisation, gift wrap and gift boxes, and items not in stock.
- It cannot be combined with other offers, except shipping offers and other spend-and-save or gift-with-purchase offers.
- Refunds on a returned promotion product are at the promotion price, not the full price.
- If you send back enough of the qualifying basket that it drops under S$70, the promotion product has to go back too.
The promotion products carry a "40% off with purchase" tag and show their full price on the grid, so they look undiscounted next to the struck-through clearance items. Current ones include the Mickey and Minnie Christmas 2026 Plush (S$39.90 each), the Mickey Mouse and Friends Halloween Tote (S$39.90), the Mickey Mouse Canvas Tote Bag, Walt Disney World (S$75.90) and the Disney Store Singapore Exclusive Tote Bag (S$25.90).
Disney has been running this offer since 15 June 2026 and states it runs "until stocks last", with no fixed end date. The store closing on 30 September ends it either way.
S$70 is doing double duty
Worth knowing before you build a basket: S$70 is also Disney's free standard delivery threshold for Singapore. The same single number unlocks free delivery and the 40% add-on, and the promotion terms explicitly allow shipping offers to stack. Below S$70 you pay standard delivery and get no add-on discount.
The Halloween problem
The clearance leans heavily on Halloween: the wreath, the Jack-o'-Lantern, the Chip 'n Dale ornament, the Mickey and Minnie Halloween 2026 plushes, the Halloween tote.
But Halloween is 31 October and the store shuts on 30 September. Disney's Halloween shop closes a full month before the night it was built for. If you decorate for Halloween with Disney pieces, this is not a sale you can leave until the usual mid-October scramble. It is buy by 30 September or buy somewhere else.
What disappears with the store
Disney's FAQ is blunt about restocking: "Products that are sold out are not expected to return." With no replenishment and three weeks of clearance traffic ahead, the range only shrinks from here.
Two categories go for good, not just for now:
- Singapore-exclusive stock. The Disney Store Singapore Exclusive Tote Bag is exactly what it says. Local authorised retailers do not carry Disney Store house-exclusive lines.
- Disney Store Japan imports. A slice of the catalogue is tagged Disney Store Japan, including the Urupocha-Chan plush range and the stanDs plushes. That was a rare local route to Japan-exclusive Disney merchandise at SGD prices with local delivery, and it closes with the site.
Disney's line is that merchandise "will continue to be available through a wide range of authorized and trusted retailers in your country". True for mainstream toys and apparel. Not true for store-exclusive collectibles.
Returns, warranties and one loose end
Disney says returns, exchanges and warranties continue after closure, in line with its published policies, and it routes all post-purchase support to a service page run by Global-e, the cross-border operator behind the storefront.
One thing to note before you spend: the FAQ tells shoppers to "note recent changes to our returns policy" but does not link to that policy, and the site's footer no longer carries a returns page at all, only the closing-down FAQ and the terms page. Disney is flagging a change it does not publish alongside the flag. If you are buying something expensive, or something you might send back, read the returns terms shown at checkout rather than assuming the policy you remember still applies.
Should you buy
Worth it now:
- Anything at the 50% tier, especially the two light-up Halloween pieces, where the absolute savings are S$75 and S$58.
- The Singapore-exclusive and Disney Store Japan items, which have no local replacement at any price.
- Anything on your list that is already flagged Low in Stock.
Not worth rushing:
- Mainstream Mickey plush, apparel and toys. Those stay on sale through authorised retailers here after 30 September, and a closing store is not automatically cheaper than a normal promotion elsewhere.
