Important distinction. The 12-14 May promo was 'Buy 1 Venti, Get 1 of equal/lesser value FREE'. THIS promo (19-21 May) is 'Buy 1 Venti, Get 2nd Venti at S$1'. Math: (1) If you pair 2 high-priced Ventis (both S$9.50, e.g. Java Chip + Mocha Frappuccino), the 12-14 promo gave you BOTH for S$9.50 total (the second was free); the 19-21 promo gives you BOTH for S$10.50 total ($1 extra). So the 12-14 promo was BETTER for premium-pair drinkers. (2) If you pair a S$9.50 with a S$5 basic, the 12-14 promo gave you S$9.50 + $0 = S$9.50; the 19-21 promo gives you S$9.50 + $1 = S$10.50. Basically the new promo is ~S$1 worse than the old one for any pairing. Why bother? Because the old promo ENDED 14 May — the next chance to grab Starbucks at-or-near 50% off is this one. Still genuinely strong value: ~41% off on premium pairings.

(3) At the counter, order 2 Venti drinks (any combo from the eligible list — confirm with staff which Venti drinks qualify). (4) Show your Rewards barcode (in-app) to the cashier BEFORE they finalise the order. They'll apply the S$1 charge to the second drink automatically. (5) Pay the total. (2) BEST 'I WANT TWO DIFFERENT THINGS' — Caramel Frappuccino (~S$8.30) + Iced Caramel Macchiato (~S$8.30) = S$9.30 total (vs S$16.60 = 44% off). (3) PRACTICAL FOR 2 PEOPLE WITH DIFFERENT TASTES — your partner gets a Cold Brew (~S$7), you get a Java Chip Frappuccino (~S$9.50) = S$10.50 total (vs S$16.50 = 36% off). Note: 'Venti' = 24oz cold / 20oz hot, the LARGEST standard Starbucks size. The promo specifically requires VENTI — Tall and Grande don't qualify. Mostly yes, with one caveat. Starbucks Stars (1 Star earned per S$1 spent in standard mode) ARE earned on the FULL pre-discount drink price, so a S$10.50 transaction (Java Chip + S$1 Java Chip) still earns you ~19 Stars on the underlying S$19 retail value. Your existing Star redemptions (e.g., 200 Stars = free Tall handcrafted drink) CAN be applied to the same order — but Star-redeemed drinks won't COUNT as the 'second Venti' for the $1 voucher discount. Practically: use the $1 voucher for 2 paid-Venti orders, and use Star redemptions on a separate transaction or a separate day. The only thing you CANNOT do: stack the $1 promo with another active in-store discount (e.g., the previous Buy-1-Free-1, which has now ended anyway).
