Twenty-three grams of protein is protein-shake territory, and PlayMade just put it in a bubble tea cup for $6.90. The Protein Smoothie Series launched on 9 October at all 28 stores, and PlayMade's own campaign page confirms it is still pouring, while stocks last.
> Quick view: at all 28 PlayMade stores from 9 Oct 2026, while stocks last: Strawberry Yoghurt $6.90 / 23g protein / Nutri-Grade B, Mango Yoghurt $6.90 / 23g / C, Strawberry Cocoa $7.90 / 21g / C (medium, iced). New Protein Boba topping $1.40 M / $1.60 L for any drink.

The three smoothies
| Drink (M, iced) | Price | Protein | Nutri-Grade |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strawberry Yoghurt Protein Smoothie | $6.90 | 23g | B (4% sugar) |
| Mango Yoghurt Protein Smoothie | $6.90 | 23g | C (7% sugar) |
| Strawberry Cocoa Protein Smoothie | $7.90 | 21g | C (7% sugar) |
THE MATH: at $6.90 for 23g, you are paying about 30 cents per gram of protein, which lands in the same range as ready-to-drink protein shakes, except this one has yoghurt swirls and comes from a bubble tea counter. THE PICK: the Strawberry Yoghurt is the quiet star, because a Nutri-Grade B bubble tea at 4% sugar is a genuine rarity.
Protein Boba, for any drink
The series comes with a new topping: Protein Boba, a protein-enriched version of PlayMade's signature handmade pearls, at $1.40 (M) or $1.60 (L). It is not locked to the smoothies, so you can drop it into your usual Taiwan Milk Tea. One honest note from the poster: it adds about +2% sugar, and the protein counts above exclude toppings.
The rest of the PlayMade, Remade refresh
The smoothies headline a bigger brand refresh that started with the reopened Westgate and Waterway Point stores:
- Merch with any drink purchase: MADE TO PLAY Crew Socks at $4.90, the rrrts x PlayMade MADE TO PLAY / REMADE Bottle (2 designs) at $39.90, and a Sip N' Play Bookmark free with $9 minimum spend for app members
- Remade recipes: the Amber Black Tea and Queen Jasmine Green Tea have been refined
- Kanten jelly is back, now in a zero-calorie formula, for a familiar chew without the calories
BEST FOR: gym-goers who would rather get their post-workout protein with pearls in it, and anyone curious whether a B-grade bubble tea can still taste like a treat.
