Singapore's best-known travel goods clearance is back, and for once you can plan the trip before you make it. The Famous Tai Seng Travel Goods Warehouse Sale runs from 10 to 13 September 2026 at 9 Tai Seng Link, Singapore 534053, and the organiser has published the actual price list in advance rather than just a poster promising big numbers.

The 90% is one backpack, not the floor
Worth getting straight before you set your expectations. The single 90% item on the published list is the Case Logic Campus Founder Backpack 26L in midnight/heather at $9, down from $89. It is a real price on a real bag, and at $9 it is the cheapest thing on this page worth queueing for, but it is one line on a four-page price list.
Everything else lands lower. The deepest luggage cuts are 77% and 78%, most bags sit between 40% and 60%, and the bottles and travel accessories run from about 30% to 70%. That is a normal, honest warehouse-sale spread. Just do not walk in expecting the whole floor at a tenth of retail.
The two cases to arrive early for
These are the door-crashers, and both carry the same warning in print: while stocks last, limited pieces only.

A 24" medium at $39 is the number to circle. That is check-in-capable hardcase luggage at roughly the price of a decent cabin bag anywhere else, and "limited pieces only" on a four-day sale usually means the first morning. If that specific case is what you came for, Thursday is the day.
The Thule at $199 is the other one worth flagging. A $440 saving is the largest absolute discount on the list, and Thule is the brand least likely to turn up cheap elsewhere.

Bellroy is the name to watch here. Its Classic Backpack rarely discounts at all in Singapore, so $89 against $199 is the kind of price that does not repeat until the next edition of this sale.

This is where the sale quietly earns its keep, because these are the items people pay full price for at the airport.

The VIP tier, and when it is actually worth it
An additional 10% off applies on a minimum spend of $300, and you sign up on the spot rather than beforehand. Below $300 it is worth nothing, which covers most single-item trips: a $39 case and a $9 backpack come to $48.
Above $300 it is straightforward money. Two large cases and a daypack will clear the threshold on their own, and the extra 10% is then worth roughly $30 or more. The one thing to avoid is padding a $250 basket up to $300 to unlock $30, because you will have spent $50 to save $30. Add the total up at the till and decide there.
The sample clearance is the wildcard
Separate from the main floor, there is a sample clearance sale from as low as $1 while stocks last, covering luggage, backpacks, bottles and travel accessories. Samples mean single pieces, odd colours and the occasional scuff, so there is no published list and no way to plan for it. It is the reason regulars turn up on the first morning.
Who is actually running it
The sale is put on by Seager Inc, the Singapore distributor behind the retail names Boarding Gate, The Planet Traveller and The Wallet Shop. That matters for two reasons: the stock is distributor inventory rather than third-party parallel imports, and the brand list is the one Seager carries. Expect Alpaka, anello, Bellroy, Bric's, Cabeau, Cabin Zero, Case Logic, Cilocala, Crossing, Doughnut, Eagle Creek, Echolac, Go Travel, Hellolulu, Heroclip, Humangear, Jansport, Kinto, Klean Kanteen, Knirps, LOQI, MAH, Nalgene, Oasis, Osprey, Pacsafe, Sea to Summit, Shupatto, Sttoke and Thule.
Practical notes
- The last day closes an hour earlier. 10am to 8.30pm on 10, 11 and 12 September, 10am to 7.30pm on 13 September.
- Take the train. The organiser signposts the walk from Tai Seng MRT Exit C, and Tai Seng Link is an industrial street where street parking is not something to count on.
- It overlaps the school break. Singapore's September school holidays run 5 to 13 September, ending on the sale's final day, so weekday mornings will be busier than a normal Thursday.
- Check the date on anything you find online. The same sale ran 19 to 22 March 2026, and the organiser's own site still carries that older description in places even though the current banner reads 10 to 13 September.
What it means for you
If you have a year-end trip booked and a suitcase held together by optimism, this is the cheapest sensible week to replace it. A $39 medium hardcase and a $9 backpack is $48 for a set that would run past $250 at retail, and the risk is simply that the two clearance cases sell out early. Go on the Thursday if those specific items are the point of the trip. Go on the Sunday, before 7.30pm, if you would rather browse a thinner floor in peace.
