CLOVE, the buffet restaurant on Level 2 of Swissôtel The Stamford, has turned its spread Korean for the autumn. The theme is called A Taste of Korea, and the hotel's own CLOVE page lists it as the Korean Takeover Buffet, 14 Sep to 15 Nov. The draw is the card discount: nine banks' cards get 50% off the adult price for 1 to 10 adults, also until 15 November.
> Quick view: 50% off CLOVE's Korean buffet with OCBC, DBS/POSB, Citibank, HSBC, Maybank, UOB, Standard Chartered, CIMB or Bank of China cards (or Accor+ Explorer / Amex Platinum). Weekday lunch $40++, Sun-Thu dinner $49++, weekend $65++. Up to 10 adults per card. Till 15 Nov 2026. Not on Race Weekend, PH or PH eves.
What 50% off works out to
| Sitting | Usual adult price | With eligible card | Per head with service charge and GST |
|---|---|---|---|
| Weekday lunch (Mon-Fri, 12pm-2.30pm) | $80++ | $40++ | about $47.96 |
| Weekday dinner (Sun-Thu, 6pm-10pm) | $98++ | $49++ | about $58.75 |
| Weekend (Fri & Sat dinner, Sun lunch 12.30pm-3pm) | $130++ | $65++ | about $77.94 |
| Child, 6 to 12 | $40++ / $49++ / $65++ | No discount |
Two adults at a weekday lunch pay about $95.92 instead of $191.84. Free-flow drinks are an add-on at $38++ (red and white wine, beer, soft drinks) or $48++ (adds Prosecco). The discount is worded as 50% off the buffet price, so expect the free-flow to be charged in full.
What's on the Korean spread
The weekday line has 24-Hour Bossam (pork shoulder simmered for a day and eaten with perilla leaves and doenjang), Kimchi Stew, Gochujang Chicken, Pork Dumplings, Korean Fried Chicken, Bibimguksu cold spicy noodles, traditional banchan and Korean desserts. On weekends CLOVE adds Lobster Kimchi Stew and Spicy River Prawn Bibimguksu. The Korean dishes sit alongside CLOVE's usual international line of seafood on ice, sushi, Indian dishes and live stations, so a non-Korean eater in the group is covered.
The fine print
- Which cards: Singapore-issued OCBC, DBS/POSB, Citibank, HSBC, Maybank, UOB, Standard Chartered, CIMB and Bank of China credit or debit cards. ALL Accor+ Explorer and American Express Platinum members get the same 50%.
- Pay with the card: the card must be presented and must pay the full bill.
- Group size: 1 to 10 adults per card. Different cards can be combined for up to 20 seats.
- Blackout dates: eves of public holidays, public holidays, Race Weekend and other special occasions the restaurant names.
- Children: ages 6 to 12 pay the child price, which is not discounted.
- Book direct: reservations made through third-party platforms do not get the discount.
- No takeaway of buffet items.
Tips before you book
- Skip 9 to 11 October. That is the Singapore Grand Prix weekend, and CLOVE sits right beside the circuit, so the discount is off.
- Weekday lunch is the value pick. At $40++ it is the cheapest sitting, and the Korean dishes are the same ones served at dinner. Weekends cost $25 more a head but add the lobster kimchi stew.
- Check what the $130 sitting includes. The Fairmont Singapore-hosted CLOVE page says the Sunday lunch and Friday-Saturday dinner price includes free-flow Tiger Beer, while the Swissôtel offer page does not mention it. Ask when you book.
- Book through the hotel. Use the BOOK A TABLE link on the Swissôtel or Fairmont CLOVE page, call 6431 6156, or email dining.singapore@swissotel.com.
