Atrium Restaurant at Holiday Inn Singapore Atrium closes its Nyonya buffet on 9 September, and the halal 1-for-1 that made it worth booking does not go with it. From 10 September to 22 November 2026 the restaurant runs a Wagyu Beef, Seafood and Suhaimi's Buffet, built with Suhaimi Yusof, and every adult diner still gets 1-for-1.

What actually changes on 10 September
Suhaimi Yusof is the hook. The hotel describes him as an award-winning Singaporean entertainer best known for The Noose, a broadcaster, actor, comedian and host of more than three decades, and the buffet carries a section of his own favourites: Wagyu Beef Cheek Rendang, Singapore Chilli Lobster with Mantou, Boneless Chicken Rice, Chicken and Mutton Satay, a selection of sushi and sashimi, and Chinese Fish Curry.
The rest of the dinner spread is where the price increase went. The on-ice counter carries Japanese Snow Crab Legs, Fresh Oysters, Poached Tiger Prawns, Baby Abalone, Japanese Sweet Clams, Half Shell Scallops, blue mussel, sea conch whelk and baby crayfish, with Bamboo Lobster on weekends only. The wagyu runs across Slow-Roasted Wagyu D-Rump at the carvery, Pan-Seared Wagyu Steak with Truffle Sauce, Smoked Garlic Butter Wagyu Steak Bites, a wagyu osso buco stew and wagyu sliders. Live stations cover freshly made prata with dhal and chicken curry, Hainanese chicken rice, Singapore laksa, a BBQ counter, rojak, gado-gado and kang kong with cuttlefish.
The prices, and what two people actually pay
Prices below are before the 1-for-1, which is how the hotel prints them. Because two adults share one cover, the menu price is the price for the pair. Nett figures add the 10% service charge and 9% GST.

Children aged 6 to 12 pay $30++ at dinner and $25++ at lunch, and kids 5 and under eat free. So two adults and one eight-year-old on a Tuesday night is $158++, or $189.44 nett.
Against the Nyonya buffet it replaces, dinner is $9 dearer: the outgoing menu was $119++ on weekdays and $129++ at weekends, which was about $71.35 and $77.34 nett a head. You are paying roughly $5.39 more a head on a weeknight for the wagyu and the ice counter.
Lunch keeps the 1-for-1, and the hotel's own page does not say so
The offers page prints a dinner-only table, which reads as though lunch loses the deal on 10 September. It does not. The restaurant's booking system lists four 1-for-1 experiences dated 10 September to 22 November: the two wagyu dinners above, plus a 1-for-1 International Weekday Lunch Buffet at $99++ and a 1-for-1 International Weekend Lunch Buffet at $109++. That is the same money the Nyonya lunch charged, so lunch is the one part of this restaurant that did not get more expensive.
What lunch does not include is the reason to come: the wagyu dishes and the seafood-on-ice counter are on the dinner menu. Lunch reverts to the restaurant's international spread. Ask for the 1-for-1 International Lunch Buffet by name when you reserve, since it is not on the page most people will read.
The fine print, including one deal that quietly dies
- The 55% off table-of-five bundle is not coming with it. Through August, five adults at weekday dinner could take 55% off outright, which worked out at roughly $64.20 nett a head and beat the 1-for-1. The booking system dates that bundle 15 July to 9 September only, and nothing replaces it for the wagyu run. If you are a group of five, the last night for it is Tuesday 9 September.
- The 2X IHG One Rewards points are already gone. They rode with the Nyonya buffet and stopped on 31 August. Any write-up still pairing the points with the 1-for-1 is out of date.
- Odd numbers. The extra diner gets 50% off with a DBS/POSB, Citibank or UOB credit card. A table of three on a weeknight is $128++ plus $64++.
- The printed menu is a pool, not a promise. Nearly every station on the official menu is annotated with a rotation: six items on the ocean counter, two wagyu salads, three items at the BBQ station, one noodle, one vegetable. The hotel states the menu varies daily with ingredient availability.
- Bamboo lobster is weekends only, which is part of what the extra $10 buys on a Friday to Sunday.
- Dine-in only, no takeaway, the 1-for-1 cannot be combined with other promotions, and blackout dates may apply. Bookings of 20 or more require a deposit.
- Hours. Dinner 6pm to 9.30pm daily including eve of public holidays, last replenishment 9pm. Lunch 12pm to 2.30pm, last replenishment 2pm. Arriving at 8.45pm on a snow-crab night is not a plan.
- Ages. The hotel's offer page says children 5 and under eat free and charges 6 to 12, while the booking system labels the child rate 5 to 12. Confirm a five-year-old's rate when you reserve.
Worth knowing before you book
The restaurant is halal-certified and there is a prayer room a minute from the door, which is the main reason this buffet gets booked out on weekends. Dress code is smart casual. Payment is unusually broad for a hotel restaurant: cash, Visa, MasterCard, Amex, JCB, UnionPay, Diners, GrabPay, WeChat Pay, Alipay, ShopeePay, KrisPay, NETS and SGQR.
