Selling your bags for cash
The second half of the event is a buy counter, and it only takes bags and wallets.
- Pack your bags and wallets. All brands are welcome and there is no minimum quantity.
- Get an offer within 30 to 60 minutes. No appointment needed, just walk up.
- Choose your payout: cash on the spot, or 50% more in REFASH points to spend at Refash.
The fine print
- Bags and wallets only. Clothes, shoes and accessories are not bought at this pop-up.
- No donations. Refash says storage is limited, so it cannot take donated items here.
- Rejected items come back to you. Anything Refash does not accept must be collected after the assessment.
- "From" prices. The $7, $10, $20 and $99 figures are floors. Better pieces cost more.
- Weekdays only. The poster says it plainly: there is no weekend session.
Tips
- Do the 2 for $10 maths. A second designer piece costs $4, so pick two even if you only came for one.
- Drop your bags first, then shop. The assessment takes up to an hour, which is about the length of a lunch break spent browsing the racks.
- Take the points if you will shop anyway. 50% more in REFASH points beats cash if you plan to spend it at Refash; cash is better if you will not.
- Go early in the week. Preloved stock is one of each, so the best $6 finds are gone first.
- Check every piece. Look at seams, zips and stains before paying, and try winterwear on if you are packing for a December trip.
