Giant's Super Savings flyer for Thursday 24 to Wednesday 30 September 2026 leads with Shine Muscat grapes at 2 for $5.95. We read all 68 prices on the two-page flyer Giant publishes on its own site, then checked the branded lines against FairPrice Online on the same afternoon. The grapes are the cheapest pair in town but nowhere near the 72% off the flyer prints. The ice cream, chocolate and beer are where Giant clearly wins this week.

The Shine Muscat deal, checked
Giant prints the usual price as $21.90 for two boxes, or $10.95 a box, and calls 2 for $5.95 a 72% saving. FairPrice sells what its site names as the identical product, China Premium Shine Muscat 650g, for far less than that every day.

So the grapes are worth buying at Giant, and $3.95 cheaper than FairPrice for a pair. Measured against the price FairPrice charges on an ordinary day, the saving is 50%. Two more things to know: this line is in the 4 Days Price Off block and ends Sunday 27 September, and FairPrice also lists a separate China Shine Muscat 500g at $1.75 on offer, which is cheaper per gram if you are not fussy about the "Premium" grade.

The last row matters because Giant's ice cream deal is any 3 only. If your freezer takes two tubs, buy them at FairPrice.

None of them is a saving on a single unit, and two are $4 or more dearer. They only pay if you will use the second bottle or pack.
The deepest cuts on the flyer
By Giant's own printed percentages, with the Shine Muscat's 72% set aside:
- Vietnam dragonfruit: 3 for $2.80 (was $6, 53% off)
- Australia Honey Murcott mandarin: 5 for $4.95 (was $9.50, 47% off)
- Australia strawberries 250g: 2 for $8.45 (was $15.90, 46% off)
- Ben & Jerry's 427ml-473ml: any 3 for $25 (was $45.60, 45% off)
- Wolf Blass Eaglehawk 750ml: $14.90 (was $25.50, 41% off, to 27 Sep only)
- NZ Envy apples: 4 for $7.95 (was $13.20, 39% off)
- Driscoll's Peru blueberries 125g: 3 for $9.90 (was $16.35, 39% off)
At the other end, Australian pork spare ribs ($2.08/100g) are 9% off, and Johnsonville sausages, Lim Kee siew mai, Butcher's Ridge beef and the Giant 30-egg tray are only 10% off.
Fine print worth knowing
- Two end dates. Most of the flyer runs 24 to 30 September. The "4 Days Price Off" block, 14 items, runs 24 to 27 September: Shine Muscat, Tambun pomelo, Loc Sweet oranges, onion and garlic, black pomfret, Jia Jia Rou pork, BBQ chicken steak, Nescafé, eggs, Wolf Blass, Mister Potato, Sprite, Harpic and UIC.
- Most offers are multi-buys. 42 of the 68 prices are "any 2", "any 3", "2 for", "3 for", "4 for", "5 for", "8 for" or Buy 1 Get 1 Free. Buy one and you pay the shelf price.
- Store to store. Giant's small print says availability may vary between stores, stocks are limited, traders are not allowed, an exclusion list applies and clearance items are not included.
- Meat and seafood counter prices are per 100g, for example whole salmon at $1.79/100g and Malaysian tiger prawns at $1.99/100g.
Tips
- CHAS card holders: go by Friday. Giant's Double Your CHAS Savings (6% off at all Giant stores) ends 25 September, and alcohol is excluded.
- DBS or POSB debit card holders: go at the weekend. Giant's DBS Weekend Promotion is $5 off $50 at selected stores, or $8 off $80 at Tampines Hypermarket and IMM, to 25 October. Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 September are also the last two days of the 4 Days Price Off block.
- Buy ice cream in threes, or not at Giant. Two tubs are cheaper at FairPrice this week.
- Read the grape label. The 2 for $5.95 is for the 650g "Premium" boxes, so check the weight at the shelf.
