itea Is Selling Drinks for S$0.61 — 6,100 Secret-Code Vouchers Drop Daily From 1–9 August, Plus a New Merlion Berry Series

itea is the Principal Partner and Official Tea Beverage Brand of NDP 2026, and it is marking SG61 by releasing 7,000 vouchers that bring an SG61 Strawberry Series drink down to S$0.61. The catch is that you have to guess a secret code on the itea app, and the vouchers go first-come-first-served. Three drops have already been and gone (200 on 11 July, 300 on 18 July, 400 on 25 July) — but they were the warm-up. The real one runs 1 to 9 August, daily from 10.00am to 11.01am, with 6,100 vouchers, which is 87% of the entire campaign. Miss the first three drops and you still get a S$0.61 discount voucher with no minimum spend, valid on anything except ice cream. The new Merlion Berry line-up: Merlion Berry Green Tea, Merlion Berry Frost and Merlion Berry Shiok, alongside limited-edition SG61 merch.

Singapore's National Day drink deals usually mean a few dollars off. itea has gone further: for SG61 it is putting its new Strawberry Series drinks at S$0.61 — you just have to guess a code to get one.

itea is the Principal Partner and Official Tea Beverage Brand of National Day Parade 2026, running the campaign under the theme *"City of Love, A Future of Joy."*

The S$0.61 deal, and the catch

There are 7,000 vouchers in total, released in four drops on the itea app. Each drop asks you to guess a secret code, and the vouchers go first-come-first-served. That makes it closer to a lottery than a promo code you can simply type in.

Three drops have already closed. The one still to come is, by a wide margin, the one worth caring about:

DropWindowVouchersRedeemable

18 July11.00am–11.59pm30018–24 July
25 July11.00am–11.59pm40025–31 July
1–9 Augustdaily 10.00am–11.01am6,100to be announced

The August round alone accounts for 87% of the entire campaign. Spread over nine days that is roughly 675 vouchers a day — better odds on any single morning than any of the July rounds gave you in a whole day.

Two things to note about that window. It runs 10.00am to 11.01am, which is exactly 61 minutes — a deliberate SG61 touch, and a nice bit of detail. It is also a narrow mid-morning slot on working days, so an alarm at 9.55am with the app already open is the difference between getting one and reading about it afterwards.

itea has not yet announced the redemption window for the August vouchers, so keep an eye on the app in the days before 1 August.

Miss out and you still get something

itea says anyone who missed the first three drops will still receive a S$0.61 discount voucher with no minimum spend, valid on any itea product except ice cream items.

Read that carefully: it is S$0.61 off your order, not a S$0.61 drink. A small consolation rather than the headline — though no minimum spend is more generous than most fallback vouchers.

The three new Merlion Berry drinks

The SG61 Strawberry Series is three drinks, all strawberry-led:

  • Merlion Berry Green Tea — the lightest of the three. A refreshing green tea infused with strawberry and a hint of perfume lemon.
  • Merlion Berry Frost — an icy strawberry slush. The straightforward hot-afternoon pick.
  • Merlion Berry Shiok — the indulgent one. A creamy strawberry slush topped with rich cheese foam.

One honest gap: itea has not published the usual prices for these in its release, so we cannot tell you precisely what a S$0.61 voucher saves you. Check the menu in the app or in store.

Also on: SG61 merchandise

Alongside the drinks there is limited-edition SG61 merchandise — a tote bag, sticker sheet, cup sleeve and acrylic keychain.

Where to go

Vouchers are claimed on the itea app and redeemed at itea outlets, which run across the island including AMK Hub, Northpoint City, Changi City Point, Chinatown Point, Eastpoint Mall, Heartland Mall, Our Tampines Hub, Anchorpoint and many MRT-adjacent stores. The full, current list is on itea's outlets page.

Is it worth it?

If you are already an itea drinker, yes — set the 9.55am alarm for the August window and you have a genuinely good shot at a 61-cent drink. If you are not, the guess-the-code mechanic means this is not something you can reliably plan around, and the consolation voucher is only 61 cents off.

The more dependable move is simply to try the Merlion Berry Shiok on its own merits. Cheese foam on a strawberry slush is the kind of thing that either works completely or not at all, and that is worth finding out either way.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I actually get the S$0.61 itea drink?

You have to guess a secret code on the itea app during a drop window. itea is releasing 7,000 vouchers in total across four drops, and they go first-come-first-served — so it behaves more like a lottery than a promo code you can simply type in. The first three drops (11, 18 and 25 July, each 11.00am–11.59pm) have closed. The one still to come is the biggest by a wide margin: 1 to 9 August 2026, daily from 10.00am to 11.01am, releasing 6,100 vouchers. itea has not yet announced the redemption window for that final round, so watch the app and their socials in the days before. Once you have a voucher it applies to an SG61 Strawberry Series drink, redeemable at itea outlets islandwide.

What are the three new SG61 Strawberry Series drinks?

There are three, all built on strawberry. Merlion Berry Green Tea is the lightest — a refreshing green tea infused with strawberry and a hint of perfume lemon. Merlion Berry Frost is an icy strawberry slush, the straightforward hot-afternoon option. Merlion Berry Shiok is the indulgent one: a creamy strawberry slush topped with rich cheese foam. itea has not published the standard prices for these in its release, so we cannot tell you exactly what you are saving with a S$0.61 voucher — check the menu in the app or in store.

What happens if I miss the drops?

You are not left with nothing. itea says customers who miss out during the first three drops will still receive a S$0.61 discount voucher with no minimum spend, valid on any itea product except ice cream items. Note the difference: that is S$0.61 off your order, not a S$0.61 drink. It is a small consolation rather than the headline deal, but there is no minimum spend attached, which is more generous than most fallback vouchers.

Which drop gives me the best chance?

The August one, by a long way. The July drops released 200, 300 and 400 vouchers respectively — 900 in total. The 1 to 9 August drop releases 6,100, which is 87% of the entire 7,000-voucher campaign. Spread across nine days that averages roughly 675 vouchers a day, better than any single July round on its own. The trade-off is the window: 10.00am to 11.01am, exactly 61 minutes, which is a neat SG61 touch but a narrow slot to catch mid-morning on a working day. Set an alarm for 9.55am and have the app already open.
