Tingkat is sold in packages, not meals, so a headline like "from $180" tells you nothing until you divide it by days and by mouths. We did that division again on 16 September 2026, four days after publishing, and one number moved enough to reorder the list. Select Catering's $5.50 a head is a meal rate, not a delivered rate: its own price reference list and its own checkout add a $4.00 delivery charge per trip per day, so the real floor is $6.30 a head before GST at five pax, about $6.87 with it, and $8.18 a meal at the two-pax minimum. That makes FattyDaddyFattyMummy the cheapest plan you can actually buy, even after it raised every price about 9% in October: $654 for 20 days at five pax, $6.54 a head per meal, with free delivery on tingkat. Kim Paradise is still the cheapest halal-certified plan with a published grid, $654 with GST for 20 days at five pax, but its $100 off turns out to be code KP100OFF and it works only on 32 and 40-day subscriptions, its rice is $1.09 a head a day on top, and delivering to a condominium door costs $21.80. Then the catches nobody prints: Neo Garden announced a $1 daily support fee on every new and renewed tingkat order from 1 April 2025, then took the notice off its page without saying the fee had gone; Tingkat Delivery will not serve the CBD, parts of Central Singapore or Sentosa at all and adds $5 plus GST per meal per trip at some addresses; and Shiok Kitchen, the one service here with no subscription at all, adds $10 delivery on top of dishes sold by the portion. Seven services (Soul Delicacies dropped out in October when it stopped selling tingkat), every price re-read at source, and the order is not the one the listicles assume.
Tingkat is priced by the package, never by the meal, which is why no two roundups ever agree on who is cheapest.

Most tingkat outfits make you fill in a form to learn the price. This one puts every package and every pax tier straight into its own store, which is why it is the one we could check line by line, and why it now takes the top spot: at five pax nobody on this page charges less once their own delivery fee is in.PRICES: Regular Tingkat, dinner service only, in disposable containers with no washing up: 5 days costs $114, $142, $174 and $185 for two to five pax, so the 5-pax trial works out to $7.40 a head per meal. 10 days is $207 to $349, 16 days is $316 to $586, and 20 days is $382, $491, $578 and $654, which at five pax is $6.54 a head per meal, level to the cent with Kim Paradise and the lowest figure you can reach here.PRICE RISE: every line in the store went up about 9% between our 28 September and 12 October checks (20 days at five pax was $600). Its own shipping policy states there is no delivery fee for tingkat, so the $6.54 is what you pay at the door rather than a starting point.FINE PRINT: Payment is PayNow only. Every plan except the 5-day trial auto-renews, and you cancel by replying to the renewal invoice when it arrives. Skips are allowed on contracts of 10 days and above, two per contract, with at least two business days' notice. There are no refunds under any circumstances, only a transfer of the remaining package to someone else inside the delivery zone, or a pause. Two things the Regular grid does not show: the Love and Delightful lines take orders from 1 pax where Regular starts at 2, and Love is the only line here that does lunch as well as dinner. Part of Select Group, the same company behind Stamford Catering, and it does publish the lowest per-meal number in Singapore: $5.50 per person per meal. That figure is real, but it is the meal rate and not the delivered rate, which is the most important correction on this page. Its own pricing overview, its own worked example and its own price reference list all add a delivery charge of $4.00 per trip per day, charged once per delivery rather than per head. Check it against the grid Select prints itself: 2 pax over the 22 September weekdays without rice is $359.70 with GST, which is ($5.50 x 2 + $4.00) x 22 x 1.09, or $8.18 a head per meal, not $6.00. Because the fee divides by mouths, it punishes small households hardest. Five pax pay $6.30 a head before GST, about $6.87 with it; at the six-pax ceiling it is $6.17 before GST, about $6.72 with it, which still sits above FattyDaddyFattyMummy. What that buys: a choice of 3 dishes and 1 soup, or 4 dishes, cooked with less oil, reduced salt and no added MSG, from a kitchen with over 30 years behind it. Thematic Tuesdays rotate in one-off favourites like Japanese curry and nasi lemak. Now the constraints, because they are what makes the price possible. It is dinner only, with no lunch service at all. The minimum is 2 pax per meal per package, so a solo diner cannot buy in, and the checkout stops at 6 pax. You subscribe by the week at either 5 days or 4 days, and on the 4-day plan you nominate which weekday to skip. Orders run to the end of the calendar month rather than for a rolling 20 days, so a mid-month start costs less and ends at the same time as everyone else's. Rice is an add-on you choose at checkout at $0.80 a head a day, none, white, or brown, with brown costing no more than white. Containers are the traditional tiffin carrier, which you leave outside your door for the driver to collect on the next delivery, or a disposable microwavable box for $1 more. No meals on Saturdays, Sundays or public holidays.WORTH KNOWING: there are no refunds for cancellations, and cancelled meals become meal credits carried forward to the following month instead. Kim Paradise says it serves over 6,000 customers a day out of 30B Quality Road, and unlike most of its halal rivals it prints the whole grid, in both pre-GST and GST-inclusive columns, which is how a price should be published. Family Tingkat, lunch or dinner, 3 dishes and 1 soup: 20 days at five pax is $600, or $654 with GST, which is $6.54 a head per meal, the cheapest halal-certified rate we could verify from a published rate card. Take 4 dishes instead and it is $650, or $708.50 with GST, so $7.09. The grid runs from 10 to 20 days and, usefully, includes a 12-day option at 3 days a week and a 16-day at 4 days a week for households that do not eat in every night. Solo diners get one row only, 20 days at $230 or $250.70 with GST, which is $12.54 a meal, roughly double the five-pax rate. A separate Healthy Tingkat line uses salmon, pomfret and cordyceps chicken on 2 dishes and 1 soup, and costs far more: $170 or $185.30 with GST for 10 days at one pax, which is $18.53 a meal. Now the fine print, which is unusually honest and unusually important. There are no trial plans at all, so the minimum commitment is 10 days. Steamed rice is not included in any price, white or brown is an add-on. Delivery is Monday to Friday only, lunch 9.30am to 1.30pm and dinner 3pm to 7pm, with nothing on weekends, public holidays, public holiday in-lieu days, Christmas Eve or Lunar New Year Eve. You may skip meals if you tell them a working day ahead before 4pm, but 16 and 20-day packages get only 2 skips, and 10 and 12-day packages get no replacement for a skipped meal at all. And the one most people miss: it delivers only to selected areas, so call 6255 1000 and check your postcode before you plan around it. Two tiffin carriers come on loan, but only on packages of 12 days and above at 2 pax and above on dinner service, and you have to wash, dry and hang them out by 3pm the next day or pay $15 ($16.35 with GST) to be switched to microwavable boxes; a damaged set costs $20 to $50. WORTH KNOWING, because these are the numbers that move the verdict: rice is $1.00 ($1.09 with GST) a head a day, which on 20 days at five pax is another $109 and takes the $6.54 to $7.63 a meal. Delivery to a condominium unit costs an extra $20 ($21.80), though delivery to the guard house is free if you can arrange it. Credit and debit card payments carry a 3% administrative charge plus GST. And the $100 off is narrower than it looks: it is code KP100OFF, first-time customers only, Family Tingkat only, minimum 2 pax, order at least 3 working days ahead, and it applies only to 32 or 40-day subscriptions, which are longer than anything on the published grid. Returning customers get 10% off instead, on two consecutive 16 or 20-day Family Tingkat subscriptions, by phone only, if their last package ended within the past month. Run by RichFood Group, this is the service that behaves most like a shop: the packages sit in a normal online cart with every pax tier priced, and the week's menu is posted in advance, day by day, lunch and dinner, so you can see exactly what is coming before you pay. Regular Tingkat is 1 soup and 3 dishes, or 4 dishes, with a choice of no rice, white or brown. The 20-day package is $300 at two pax without rice, which is $327 with GST or $8.18 a head per meal, and $620 at five pax, which is $675.80 with GST or $6.76 a meal. Add the fourth dish and rice and five pax becomes $850, or $926.50 with GST. The 10-day package starts at $180 before GST and the 5-day trial at $120, so a two-pax trial is $130.80 with GST, which is $13.08 a meal: trials here are expensive per meal, as they are everywhere, because the cost is spread over ten servings instead of a hundred. A separate Healthy Tingkat line runs $170 to $694.75 for 5 days and $500 to $2,066 for 20. Dishes are MSG-free and cooked in pure vegetable oil, and the kitchen holds SFA licence PL22G0239. Delivery is Monday to Friday, lunch 9.45am to 1.45pm and dinner 3pm to 7pm, with no weekend or public holiday service. The one thing to plan around: orders must go in at least 3 working days ahead, which is the longest lead time on this list, so this is not the service to call on a Sunday night. WORTH KNOWING, and it is printed on the product page rather than buried: it does not deliver to the CBD, to certain parts of Central Singapore or to Sentosa at all, and certain addresses carry a delivery surcharge of $5.00 plus GST per meal per trip, which at two pax would add $2.73 a head to every meal. Changing anything after the order is confirmed costs $25.00 ($27.00 with GST) per amendment, a failed delivery you ask them to reattempt costs $5.80 ($6.26), rice is $1.00 a head, and there are no refunds once you have paid. Meals can be postponed once a week with two working days' notice. Best for: people who want to read next week's actual menu before committing, who can order early, and who do not live in town.

Neo Garden is the biggest name here, a listed caterer of more than 30 years that calls itself the No. 1 caterer in Singapore, and its tingkat arm is the most flexible on the shape of the week. You can take 3 days, 4 days or 5 days per week on any meal plan, which none of the cheaper services offer, on a minimum 10-day subscription. Two lines: Family Omakase from $7.25 a pax, with 3 dishes and 1 soup or 4 dishes, pitched at households feeding both children and grandparents; and Healthier Choice from $13.38 a pax, 2 dishes and 1 soup, cooked with lighter methods. International Tuesdays swap in Korean, Japanese or Thai menus as 3 dishes plus a carb, and the soups are double-boiled for at least six hours. Dishes go lighter on salt and oil with no added MSG, and the recipe repertoire is deep enough that menus rarely repeat. Now the line that used to sit in a red banner at the top of its own tingkat page, and that we have not seen quoted in a single other roundup: a $1 daily support fee on all new and renewed tingkat orders from 1 April 2025. When we re-read the page on 28 September 2026, that banner had been hidden in the page code, and so had the "$150 off" badge on the Family Omakase card, with no notice that the fee had been dropped or the discount ended. By 12 October the banner had been deleted from the code altogether, and on 25 October it was back, still commented out and still without a word on whether the fee is charged. So ask about the fee when you order. If it still applies, it is 20 cents a head per meal on a five-pax plan and barely matters, but on a one-pax plan it is a full dollar on top of every meal, a 14 per cent increase on the $7.25 headline. Its order form also prices the extras: rice is $1.00 ($1.09 with GST) a pax, and microwavable containers instead of tiffin carriers cost $20 ($21.80) per contract. Every other service on this page sells you a block of days. Shiok sells you dishes, and it is the only halal tingkat here with no subscription and no set menu, which makes it the one to try if a month-long commitment is exactly the thing putting you off. You pick from around 21 dishes a week and pay by the 2-pax portion. Vegetables and staples are mostly $5.00 to $5.50, steamed jasmine rice with Alchemy Fibre is $3.90, chicken dishes run $5.90 to $6.50, fish $6.50 to $9.90, and beef, prawn or salmon $8.50 to $10.90. Soups are $4.50 to $6.90. To make that concrete: rice, two vegetable or chicken dishes and a soup for two people comes to about $21.40, which is $10.70 a head, and then $10 delivery sits on top, so the honest comparison against the subscription services is that flexibility costs you roughly four dollars a meal. The kitchen leans deliberately healthy: Alchemy Fibre in the rice, low-sodium oyster and soy sauces throughout, meals described as diabetic-friendly, ISO22000 food safety standards, and cook-chill sealing with nitrogen to extend shelf life without preservatives. Delivery works on a weekly rhythm rather than daily: order before the 12pm Thursday cut-off and your food arrives on the following Sunday and Wednesday, which also means you are reheating rather than eating straight from the driver. The hardest part of buying tingkat is not choosing a caterer, it is that each one publishes its prices in a different shape, so you cannot line them up. FoodLine is the marketplace that does the lining up: around 30 tingkat caterers and 785 tingkat and daily-meal menus, each with the package length, pax count, dish count and price per pax on the same card, plus verified customer reviews. It is also where several caterers that have no website of their own actually sell, which is worth knowing if a name you have seen recommended has no site you can check. Filter by budget per pax, by minimum pax, by halal certification and by cuisine, then order online at any hour instead of waiting on a sales team. New members get a $5 coupon with no minimum spend, and there is a Tingkat Savings Plan that the site says saves up to $40. Soul Delicacies has stopped selling tingkat, so this list is now seven. Its tingkat page now redirects to a notice that it is "halting our tingkat services until further notice" as part of a new business direction, and the tingkat order product is gone from its online store, which now sells only bento and mini buffets. Existing subscribers keep receiving meals, and its team says it will contact them about remaining packages. We have taken it out of the cards, the table and the FAQs. Halal households now have two picks here: Kim Paradise for a monthly plan and Shiok Kitchen Catering for week-by-week dishes.
Neo Garden's $1 daily support fee banner is back in its page code, still commented out so visitors cannot see it, after it had disappeared on 12 October. There is still no notice that the fee was dropped, so keep asking.

Four days after publishing, we re-read all eight services at source and one correction was big enough to reorder the list.
Select Catering charges $4.00 a day for delivery, and we had not counted it. Its $5.50 a head is the meal rate. Three charges we had missed on the same site: rice is $1.00 ($1.09 with GST) a head a day, which adds $109 to a 20-day five-pax plan; delivering to a condominium unit rather than the guard house costs $20 ($21.80); and card payments carry a 3% administrative charge plus GST. Its tingkat page advertises "reliable, islandwide delivery" while its own FAQ says deliveries are available only in selected areas, so call 6255 1000 before you plan around it.

Soul Delicacies takes a $50.00 ($53.50) security deposit on every tiffin carrier, charges $15 ($16.05) for a re-delivery and forfeits the meal with no refund if the driver cannot reach your unit after three calls. Its mini buffet prices have also moved, to $23.87 a head with GST for 7 courses at a minimum 20 pax, $26.05 for 8 at 15 and $29.32 for 9 at 10.

Every caterer quotes tingkat differently. Some publish a package total, some a per-pax figure that turns out to be per day rather than per meal, and some publish nothing at all until you fill in an enquiry form. So we did the arithmetic ourselves: package price divided by days, divided by pax. Where a caterer prints a GST-inclusive column we used it. Where it prints only the pre-GST number, we have said so in the card and in the table, because 9 per cent on a $600 package is $54 and that is not a rounding error.
Everything here was read on 12 September 2026, re-read on 16 September 2026 and re-checked on 28 September, 12 October and 25 October 2026, off the caterer's own website, its own checkout or its own store API, and where a delivery fee exists we have put it into the per-meal figure. Two well-reviewed names that other roundups rank, Hong Choo and Homely Delights, are not on this list: both sell only through a marketplace and neither runs a website of its own, so there was no first-party page to verify against. That is not a judgement on their food, only on what we could check.
Look across every card above and the same pattern shows up: a 5-day trial for one or two people costs roughly twice per meal what a 20-day plan for five people costs. Tingkat Delivery's two-pax trial is $13.08 a meal against $6.76 on its 20-day five-pax plan. Kim Paradise's solo 20-day row is $12.54 against $6.54 at five pax.
That is not caterers punishing you for trying. Cooking, packing and driving to your block costs about the same whether the driver hands over one portion or five, so the delivery leg is what you are really paying for, and it divides by mouths rather than by days. If you are cooking for one, tingkat is an expensive way to eat. If you are feeding four or five, it is genuinely competitive with cooking.
Is delivery included? This is the one that decides the ranking. FattyDaddyFattyMummy charges nothing for tingkat delivery; Select Catering adds $4.00 per trip per day; Shiok Kitchen adds $10 a week; Tingkat Delivery adds $5.00 plus GST a meal at certain addresses and will not serve the CBD, parts of Central Singapore or Sentosa at all.
Is rice included? Kim Paradise leaves it out of every published price, at $1.00 ($1.09 with GST) a head a day. Select Catering charges $0.80 a head a day, white or brown. Tingkat Delivery charges $1.00 and Shiok sells it as a $3.90 dish. It is a small number that quietly changes which service is cheapest.
Does it deliver to you? Kim Paradise serves selected areas only. Ask before you plan a month around a service.
Lunch or dinner? Select Catering and FattyDaddyFattyMummy's Regular and Delightful lines are dinner only. Kim Paradise, Tingkat Delivery, Neo Garden and FattyDaddyFattyMummy's Love line will do either.
What happens when you are out? Kim Paradise allows two skips on a 16 or 20-day package with a working day's notice before 4pm, and no replacement at all on 10 and 12-day packages. Select Catering builds a skip day into its 4-day week. Check this if your evenings are unpredictable.
Weekends and public holidays. Almost nobody delivers on them. A "20-day" package is four working weeks, and a month with two public holidays stretches further into the calendar than you expect.
Containers. Select Catering and Kim Paradise lend tiffin carriers you leave outside the door for collection, and Kim Paradise expects them washed and dried and hung out by 3pm the next day, or it charges $15 ($16.35) to switch you to boxes. FattyDaddyFattyMummy uses disposables. If nobody is home to put the carrier out, pay the dollar for the disposable box.
For a family of four or five on a 20-day plan, expect $6.50 to $9 per person per meal once delivery is in. The cheapest delivered rate we could verify on 25 October 2026 is FattyDaddyFattyMummy's Regular Tingkat, $654 for 20 days at five pax after an October price rise, which is $6.54 a meal with free delivery, level to the cent with Kim Paradise. Select Catering advertises a lower number, $5.50 a head, but that is the meal rate: its own price list adds $4.00 delivery per trip per day, so five pax works out to $6.30 before GST, about $6.87 with it, and the two-pax minimum is $8.18 a meal. Kim Paradise's halal-certified Family Tingkat is $654 with GST for 20 days at five pax, or $6.54, before $1.09 a head a day for rice. Premium lines cost roughly double: FattyDaddyFattyMummy's Love Tingkat is $11.56 a head per meal on its 40-day five-pax plan, and Kim Paradise's Healthy Tingkat is $18.53 a meal for a single diner on 10 days, or $16.35 on 20. If you are ordering for one person, budget $12 to $20 a meal, because the delivery cost divides by mouths rather than by days.
Of the services we checked at source, Kim Paradise states on its own site that its tingkat meals are halal-certified, Shiok Kitchen Catering describes itself as a halal tingkat delivery service and carries a halal mark on its tingkat page. (Soul Delicacies, also halal, stopped selling tingkat in October 2026.) Kim Paradise is the cheaper of the two if you are feeding a household, at $654 with GST for 20 days at five pax. Shiok is the one to pick if you do not want to subscribe at all, since it sells dishes by the 2-pax portion with no lock-in. The other services on this list do not state halal certification on their own pages, so do not assume it. If certification matters to you, check the caterer's current MUIS status rather than relying on a logo image, since certificates are renewed annually and a site graphic can outlive one.
Shiok Kitchen Catering is the one on this list with no subscription and no set menu. You choose from around 21 dishes each week and pay by the 2-pax portion, so nothing locks you in beyond the week you ordered. Rice with Alchemy Fibre is $3.90, most vegetable and staple dishes are $5.00 to $5.50, chicken is $5.90 to $6.50 and seafood or beef runs $8.50 to $10.90, with $10 delivery on top. A rice, two dishes and a soup order for two comes to roughly $21.40, so about $10.70 a head before delivery. Orders close at 12pm on Thursday and arrive the following Sunday and Wednesday, so you reheat rather than eat on arrival. Everywhere else on this page, the minimum is a 5-day trial and in Kim Paradise's case there is no trial at all, only a 10-day floor.
Almost none of them do. Select Catering, FattyDaddyFattyMummy, Kim Paradise, Tingkat Delivery and Neo Garden all run Monday to Friday only, with no service on Saturdays, Sundays or public holidays. Kim Paradise goes further and also skips public holiday in-lieu days, Christmas Eve and Lunar New Year Eve. This matters more than it sounds: a 20-day package is four working weeks, so a stretch of the calendar with two public holidays in it pushes your end date further out than you would expect, and you still have to feed everyone on those days. Shiok Kitchen is the exception in shape rather than in coverage, because it delivers twice a week on Sunday and Wednesday against a Thursday 12pm order cut-off, and its food is designed to be reheated across several days.
Five, all printed on the caterers' own pages and almost nowhere else. The biggest by far is Select Catering's delivery charge of $4.00 per trip per day, added on top of its $5.50 meal rate and charged once per delivery rather than per head, which is why its headline is the most misleading number on this page; rice is another $0.80 a head a day and a disposable microwavable box $1.00 a day. Kim Paradise excludes steamed rice from every published price at $1.00 ($1.09 with GST) a head a day, adds $20 ($21.80) to deliver to a condominium unit rather than the guard house, and charges 3% plus GST on credit and debit card payments. Neo Garden announced a $1 daily support fee on all new and renewed tingkat orders from 1 April 2025 but has since hidden the notice, so ask; if it still applies it is 20 cents a head per meal at five pax but a full dollar a meal if you order for one. Tingkat Delivery adds $5.00 plus GST per meal per trip at certain addresses, $25.00 ($27.00) per amendment once your order is confirmed, and $5.80 ($6.26) for a re-delivery. Shiok Kitchen's $10 delivery fee is the one that is stated openly rather than buried, but it still has to go into your per-meal maths.
