7 Best KTV & Karaoke Places in Singapore 2026: Full Price Lists, Including Teo Heng's Rates by Outlet

Karaoke in Singapore splits into two completely different price models, and knowing which one you are in front of is the whole game. Teo Heng charges by the room per hour, so you split one price and a big group gets cheap fast. Candy K-Bar, Cash Studio, HaveFun, Jewel Music Box and Party World charge by the head in blocks, usually with drinks thrown in. We lined up 7 of the island's best-known KTV chains and put the real numbers side by side, taken from each brand's own price list. The headline everyone repeats needs a correction: Teo Heng's $8/hour promo room runs at White Sands and Bukit Timah CC only, while the other 12 outlets charge $13/hour for the same small room, so we have published the rate at all 14. The cheapest per-head rate on the island is Candy K-Bar's $4.90++ an hour before 6.30pm on Mondays to Thursdays; Cash Studio does 2 hours from $8.80++ with free-flow soft drinks; HaveFun is $5++ a head an hour island-wide on a weekday check-in before 5.30pm, min 2 pax and 2 hours, till 30 Nov 2026; K.STAR runs $9.90++ two-hour weekday promos at PLQ and Leisure Park Kallang; and Party World is charged per person, not per room, from $16++ ($19 nett) for 2 hours. Here's who's cheapest for two people, who's cheapest for ten, which ones let you bring your own food, and which one is still open at 6am.

Karaoke in Singapore is priced two completely different ways, and picking the wrong one is what makes a night out expensive.

> Quick view: the cheapest room is Teo Heng at $8/hour, but that promo runs at White Sands and Bukit Timah CC only; the other twelve outlets are $13/hour. Cheapest per head: Candy K-Bar at $4.90++ an hour (Mon–Thu before 6.30pm), or HaveFun at $5++ an hour island-wide on a weekday check-in before 5.30pm, till 30 Nov. Open latest: HaveFun 313@somerset, till 6.30am, daily.

Teo Heng KTV Studio, The Value King: $8/Hour Promo Rooms (At Two Outlets), $13/Hour Everywhere Else, BYO Food, No Per-Head Charge

If the question is simply 'where is the cheapest karaoke in Singapore', this is still the answer, and it has been since 1989. Teo Heng charges by the room, not by the head, so a room split between eight or ten people gets absurdly cheap, and every rate on its price list already includes GST, so there is no '++' waiting at the counter. The one thing to get right is WHICH outlet you go to. Teo Heng's pricing page has extended its PROMO rooms till 31 October 2026, pricing a small room (4 pax) at $8/hour during happy hours (12pm–7pm) and $14 after 7pm, a medium room (6 pax) at $11/$17 and a large room (10 pax) at $14/$20. Every one of those promo cards carries the line 'Promo price only applicable at Whitesands & Bukit Timah CC only', and the outlet pages bear that out: White Sands and Bukit Timah CC list the promo rates and nothing else, while Suntec City, Causeway Point, Jurong Point and the rest list only the standard $13/$15/$17 during happy hours and $19/$22/$25 after 7pm. So the widely-quoted '$8 Teo Heng' is real, but it is two outlets out of fourteen. The other cheap room is the 2-pax Mini K at $8/hour happy hours and $12 after 7pm, offered at Plantation Plaza only. Outlet-exclusive rooms fill in the rest: an 8-pax Medium Plus at Punggol Coast Mall ($16/$23), a 15-pax Extra Large at Canberra Plaza ($19/$27) and a 20-pax VIP at Jurong Point ($32/$40). Changi Airport T3 carries small and medium rooms only. Bringing your own food and drinks is the long-standing draw, and Teo Heng now answers it directly in the FAQ on every outlet page: 'Can I bring my own food? Yes! Feel free to bring your own food and beverage.' The 'no KOD / no service / no per-head charge' badges that used to appear on the site are no longer published, and the FAQ says nothing about alcohol, so ask the outlet if you plan to bring any. Fourteen outlets after the Punggol Coast Mall branch opened in August 2026: Jurong Point, Changi Airport T3, Plantation Plaza, Oasis Terraces, Bukit Timah CC, Heng Out Place (Hougang), Suntec City, Causeway Point, Kallang Wave Mall, The Star Vista, The Centrepoint, White Sands, Canberra Plaza and Punggol Coast Mall. Note for searchers: the Woodlands-area outlet is the one inside Causeway Point, the airport outlet is at Changi Terminal 3 (there is no Teo Heng inside Jewel), and there is no Teo Heng at Clarke Quay. Hours are not uniform either: six outlets (Plantation Plaza, Oasis Terraces, Bukit Timah CC, Heng Out Place, White Sands and Canberra Plaza) open at 1pm on weekdays with effect from 1 February 2026, and Suntec City, The Star Vista and The Centrepoint stay open till 2am on Fridays as well as Saturdays. BEST FOR: big groups, families with kids, and anyone who wants to sing for the price of a kopi.

PROMO rooms extended till 31 Oct 2026: small (4 pax) $8/hr happy hours (12pm–7pm), medium $11, large $14, GST included. Teo Heng lists these promo rates at White Sands and Bukit Timah CC only; the other 12 outlets are $13/$15/$17

Jewel Music Box: 3 Hours From $12+ Per Person With Free-Flow Drinks AND Snacks, Inside SAFRA & HomeTeamNS Clubs

The best all-in value on this list if you would rather not think about a drinks bill at all. Jewel Music Box, running since 1993, sells karaoke in three-hour blocks from $12+ per person, and that price includes free flow of beverages and snacks, not a single welcome drink but a self-serve counter you keep going back to. Rooms come in several sizes and are fitted out with singing gear plus drinking table games, board games and dartboards, so there is something to do when your voice gives out. The six outlets are all inside clubhouses and community venues rather than malls: HomeTeamNS Khatib (2 Yishun Walk), HomeTeamNS Bedok Reservoir (900 Bedok North Road), SAFRA Jurong (333 Boon Lay Way), SAFRA Punggol (9 Sentul Crescent), Aranda Country Club at Pasir Ris (60 Pasir Ris Drive 3) and Bishan (510 Bishan Street 13), which means parking is easy and you can pair a session with the clubhouse pool or gym. Jewel Music Box does not publish a full rate card or its room minimums online, and each outlet takes its own bookings by phone, so call the branch to confirm the block price for your date, because peak slots in the evening and on weekends cost more than the weekday afternoon rate. BEST FOR: families and groups who want everything bundled, and anyone already heading to a SAFRA or HomeTeamNS clubhouse.

3-hour sessions from $12+ per pax, free flow of beverages and snacks included; call the outlet for the rate on your date

Cash Studio Family Karaoke Box: 2 Hours From $8.80++ a Head With Free-Flow Soft Drinks, But Only Before 6pm on Weekdays

The per-head chain to beat if there are only two or three of you and you still want a proper room. Cash Studio prices two-hour blocks per person, every package includes free flow of soft drinks (Coke, honey lemon, oolong tea, ice lemon tea), and the rate depends as much on the outlet as on the hour. The cheap band is $8.80++ per pax at Djitsun Mall @ Bedok and $9.90++ at Cuppage Plaza, Prinsep Street and Clarke Quay Central, and read the days carefully, because it runs Mondays to Fridays only, up to 6pm (5pm on Fridays at Prinsep and Clarke Quay Central). Weekend afternoons are not off-peak: Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays and their eves are already $13.90++ at Bedok and $18.90++ centrally before 6pm, roughly double the weekday rate for the same slot. Evenings step up again: $13.90++/$18.90++ Mondays to Thursdays and Sundays, and $19.90++ at Bedok and $26.90++ centrally on Friday, Saturday and eves of public holidays. Note the '++': 10% service charge and GST come on top, so a $26.90++ package lands nearer $31 and even the $8.80++ headline is about $10.30. A third hour is $3++ a head, or $2++ at Djitsun Bedok on weekdays before 6pm, and not offered at all on Fridays, Saturdays, eves and public holidays at Prinsep Street and Clarke Quay Central. Room sizes vary by outlet: Cuppage Plaza tops out at a large room for 12, Prinsep Street and Djitsun Bedok add a 25-pax VIP room, and Clarke Quay Central has a second VIP room seating around 40, the biggest on this list outside K.STAR. Every room is stocked with the small stuff that makes a session fun: tambourines, maracas, dice and poker cards, phone chargers and free wifi. Cuppage Plaza runs 1pm to 6am, the other outlets 12pm or 1pm till late. There is a student promo run through a code on the Cash Studio site, so grab the code before you book. One thing to check before you travel: the Simpang Bedok branch is still in the site menu but no longer has an address or rate card on the Locations & Prices page, which now prices four outlets. BEST FOR: small groups, students, and late-ish city sessions where you want a package rather than a running tab.

2-hour packages with free-flow soft drinks: $8.80++/pax at Djitsun Mall Bedok and $9.90++ at Cuppage, Prinsep & Clarke Quay Central, Mon–Fri before 6pm only. Weekend afternoons are $13.90++/$18.90++; Fri/Sat/eve-PH nights $19.90++–$26.90++. Third hour $3++ (or $2++ at Bedok on weekdays)

Candy K-Bar Family Karaoke: The Cheapest Per-Head Rate on This List: $4.90++ an Hour, Open Till 3am at TripleOne Somerset

A single-location favourite that quietly holds the cheapest published per-head rate on this list. Candy K-Bar's own rate card prices karaoke per pax: Mondays to Thursdays before 6.30pm it is $4.90++ for one hour or $9.90++ for two, and after 6.30pm $6.90++ for one hour or $12.90++ for two. The rest of the week is a two-hour minimum: Friday is $12.90++ before 6.30pm and $21.90++ after (extensions $6.90++ and $12.90++ an hour), Saturdays, public holidays and their eves are a flat $17.90++ for two hours all day with $12.90++ extensions, and Sundays are $12.90++ for two hours with $6.90++ extensions. Every two-hour block comes with one complimentary drink per person, and prices are subject to GST and service charge, so the $9.90++ headline lands nearer $11.50. The venue's promotional terms run Mondays to Thursdays only and are not valid on public holidays or their eves. It sits at 111 Somerset Road, #02-07/08/09 TripleOne Somerset, a two-minute walk from Somerset MRT, and its site now lists five themed room types: a small room for up to 5, a medium for 6–8, a MonkeyGod-themed Darts Room for up to 15, a Princess Room for up to 20 and a VIP room taking 35 to 50 for a proper party. The look is full neon: exposed pink brick walls, star-field ceilings, LED lighting and glowing signage, which is why it shows up constantly on Lemon8 and Instagram birthday posts. One rule to plan around: outside food and drinks are not allowed, corkage applies to BYO alcohol and a cleaning fee applies to outside food, so this is not the venue for a McDonald's run. It is open 12pm to 3am every day, takes bookings by phone (6610 8100) or WhatsApp (8835 5758), and now has an online availability checker for start times up to midnight. BEST FOR: birthday parties, themed-room photos, a cheap weekday afternoon, and a central late-night sing near Orchard.

Per pax: $4.90++/hr or $9.90++ for 2 hours, Mon–Thu before 6.30pm ($6.90++/$12.90++ after). Sat & PH $17.90++ for 2 hours, Sun $12.90++. One complimentary drink per 2-hour block; GST and service charge on top

K.STAR Karaoke: About 100 Themed Rooms Across 5 Malls, Rooms From $25++ an Hour, and $9.90++ Weekday Promos at PLQ and Kallang

The most photogenic KTV chain in Singapore right now, and the one to book if the room itself is part of the occasion. K.STAR runs five outlets (Orchard Central, Plaza Singapura, Clarke Quay, PLQ Mall and Leisure Park Kallang) with around 100 themed rooms between them. PLQ leans into characters (Disney, SpongeBob, comics and Pop Mart), Leisure Park Kallang does Barbie and Toy Story, Plaza Singapura goes outer-space, carnival and anime, and Clarke Quay is fully sci-fi. Rooms scale from six people up to about 100 for a company D&D or a big birthday. Its published rates are per room per hour and quoted '++', so add service charge and GST. At the Orchard Central flagship, happy hour runs 1pm to 8pm and peak 8pm to 3am: a Thematic Room is $25++ an hour on weekday happy hours, $30++ on weekend happy hours, $35++ on Sunday-to-Thursday peak and $40++ on Friday, Saturday, public holidays and their eves. Bigger rooms climb steeply from there: Premium $40–$70++, Panorama $50–$95++, Party Room $75–$140++, VIP Party $168–$268++ and VVIP Party $198–$298++ an hour. The per-pax promos are where the value is: two hours for $9.90++ a head Mondays to Thursdays at PLQ Mall (12pm–7pm) and at Leisure Park Kallang, minimum 2 guests, not valid on public holidays or their eves; and a two-hour Thematic Room experience with a welcome drink from $12.90++ a head on weekday happy hours at Orchard Central (1pm–8pm) and Plaza Singapura (12pm–7pm), or $16.90++ in the evening, minimum 2 and up to 6 guests. Clarke Quay also sells a three-hour party package with food and drinks included, from $288++ for a Thematic Room on weekdays. On closing time, K.STAR's own rate cards and promo material run to 3am rather than the 5–6am some roundups quote, so check the outlet if you are planning a very late session. Food and drinks are served in-room. BEST FOR: birthdays, dates, company gatherings and anyone who wants the room to look as good as the playlist.

Weekday per-pax promos: 2 hours $9.90++/pax Mon–Thu at PLQ Mall and Leisure Park Kallang (min 2 pax, not on PH or PH eve); 2-hour Thematic Room from $12.90++/pax happy hours at Orchard Central & Plaza Singapura, $16.90++ evenings. Rooms otherwise from $25++ per room per hour

HaveFun Karaoke: $5++ a Head an Hour Island-Wide Till 30 November, and the Only KTV Here Still Open at 6am

The biggest mall-based chain, the easiest one to find wherever you happen to be, and (a detail almost every roundup misses) the one that stays open latest. HaveFun's 313@somerset outlet runs 12pm to 6.30am every day, which makes it the last KTV standing in Singapore on this list; Bugis Cube and Cineleisure run to 3am (4am on Saturdays and eves of public holidays), and Bugis+ and Suntec City to 2.30am (3.30am Saturdays and eves). SAFRA Yishun does 11am to 2.30am daily. The price picture changed at the start of September 2026, and it changed in your favour. HaveFun has put a per-pax rate on the board at every outlet island-wide until 30 November: an hour of karaoke with a free soft drink at $5++ per person per hour Mondays to Fridays, or $9++ on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, both on a check-in before 5.30pm, with a minimum of 2 people and 2 hours. Two people singing for two hours on a weekday afternoon is $20++ between them, and the rate now runs at all eleven outlets rather than only the Cineleisure flagship. Bugis Cube publishes a deeper card of its own that covers the whole day rather than only the hours before 5.30pm: $5++ per pax per hour Mondays to Thursdays and on Fridays and eves of public holidays before 5.30pm, $9++ after 5.30pm on Mondays to Thursdays, $9++ all day on Sundays and before 5.30pm on Saturdays and public holidays, and $13.80++ after 5.30pm on Fridays, Saturdays and public holidays. Higher rates apply when the eve of a public holiday falls on a Saturday or Sunday. Neither card stacks with anything else: both state they are not valid with other promotions or vouchers, so the HomeTeamNS discount below is an either-or choice. Outside those promos HaveFun charges by the room per hour rather than by the head, and every outlet publishes its own menu. At Cineleisure an Exclusive room (up to 6 pax) is $22++ an hour on weekdays before 6pm, $28++ on weekday evenings and weekend afternoons, and $48++ from Friday evening through Sunday afternoon; larger rooms climb from $32++ an hour for an Exclusive+ (8 pax) to $298++ for the VVIP, and Bugis Cube's card is near-identical apart from having no Deluxe+ room. Goodwill Entertainment shareholders get a lower G.S.P price on every line, $20++ instead of $22++ on that weekday Exclusive. The standing membership deal: HomeTeamNS members get 10% off the subtotal bill from Sundays to Thursdays, all day, valid till 30 November 2026, on production of a digital membership card at check-in. It works on room packages, excludes guest and social tiers, is not valid on public holidays or their eves, and prevailing GST and service charge still apply on top. Members also get 15% off HaveFun's live-show experience at Bugis+ from Mondays to Thursdays over the same period. The chain lists 11 outlets: Cineleisure Orchard (flagship), Bugis+, Bugis Cube, 313@somerset, Suntec City, Lucky Chinatown, The Seletar Mall, Pasir Ris Mall, SAFRA Toa Payoh, SAFRA Yishun and Downtown East, with Thomson Plaza also named on HomeTeamNS's partner list. Downtown East has reopened after a rebuild as a combined live house, karaoke and DJ venue, open 11am to 1am Sundays to Fridays and to 2am on Saturdays and eves of public holidays, although the card for it on HaveFun's outlets grid still carries an old 'reopening soon' label. BEST FOR: convenience, small weekday groups, HomeTeamNS members, and the 4am-onwards crowd.

Island-wide till 30 Nov 2026: 1 hour of karaoke plus a free soft drink at $5++/pax an hour Mon–Fri, $9++ Sat/Sun/PH, check-in before 5.30pm, min 2 pax and 2 hours. Bugis Cube runs its own all-day card from $5++/pax an hour. Neither stacks with the HomeTeamNS 10% off (Sun–Thu, till 30 Nov 2026)

Party World KTV (家乐迪), The Havelock Road Institution: Per-Person Packages From $16++ ($19 Nett) With Drinks and Tidbits Included

The old-school choice, and still the one a certain crowd means when they say 'let's go KTV'. Party World KTV occupies 390A Havelock Road, #01-08 Waterfront Plaza, and leans into the classic Taiwanese-style KTV format rather than the pastel themed rooms elsewhere on this list: galaxy murals, mirrored walls, marble floors and a pool table in the bigger rooms. Read its price list carefully, because it does not work the way people assume: Party World charges PER PERSON, not per room, and every package already includes KOD, tidbits and either two soft drinks or one alcoholic drink. The cheapest way in is the Happy Hours special, Mondays to Fridays 3pm to 7pm: $16.00++ per person for 2 hours ($19.00 nett) or $22.00++ for 3 hours ($26.15 nett). From 7pm Sundays to Thursdays it is $32.00++ for 2 hours ($38.00 nett) and $45.00++ for 3 ($53.45 nett); Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays before 7pm are $28.00++ for 2 hours ($33.25 nett) and $40.00++ for 3 ($47.50 nett); and the Golden Hours band on Fridays, Saturdays and eves of public holidays from 7pm is $38.00++ for 2 hours ($45.15 nett) and $55.00++ for 3 ($65.35 nett). Extensions beyond the package are charged by room size (S, M, L and VIP), from $12–$22++ an hour in the weekday happy-hour band up to $60–$100++ an hour in Golden Hours, which is where a long night gets expensive. If your group drinks, the bottle promotions are the cheat code: a five-bottle soju mix-and-match at $138++ includes two people singing for three hours, two bottles of the wine of the month at $246++ waive four pax for three hours, and a two-bottle Wakabotan sake deal at $268++ waives four pax. It opens 3pm to 3am daily, and reservations go through 6333 5533 or WhatsApp on 8945 0182. Being a standalone off-mall venue with its own carpark, it suits a group arriving by car. BEST FOR: traditional KTV fans, Mandopop-heavy playlists, drinkers, and groups driving in.

Charged per person, not per room. Happy Hours Mon–Fri 3–7pm: 2 hours $16.00++ ($19.00 nett), 3 hours $22.00++ ($26.15 nett), including KOD, tidbits and two soft drinks or one alcoholic drink. Evenings and weekends run $28.00++–$55.00++

Two pricing models, and they suit opposite groups

  • Per room, per hour: Teo Heng and K.STAR. You pay one rate for the room no matter how many people are inside (up to capacity), so the bigger your group, the cheaper it gets per head. A Teo Heng $14/hour promo large room split ten ways is about $1.40 each an hour.
  • Per head, in blocks: Jewel Music Box, Cash Studio, Candy K-Bar, HaveFun and Party World KTV. Each person pays for a fixed 1-, 2- or 3-hour block, and drinks are usually included. Better value when there are only two or three of you, because you are not paying for empty seats.

Party World is the one people misread: its "$16 for 2 hours" is $16++ per person, not for the room. For ten people that is $160++, not $16.

Teo Heng price list 2026, and which outlets actually have the $8 promo

Teo Heng is the most-searched name in Singapore karaoke, and the single most-repeated claim about it needs a correction. The PROMO rooms extended till 31 October 2026 ($8 small, $11 medium, $14 large during happy hours) are listed by Teo Heng at White Sands and Bukit Timah CC only. Every promo card on its pricing page says so, and the individual outlet pages bear it out: those two outlets show the promo rates and nothing else, while the other twelve show only the standard rates.

All figures are per room per hour and already include GST. Happy hours run 12pm–7pm; the second number is the rate after 7pm.

Opening hours are not uniform either. Six outlets (Plantation Plaza, Oasis Terraces, Bukit Timah CC, Heng Out Place, White Sands and Canberra Plaza) open at 1pm on weekdays with effect from 1 February 2026, so at the two promo outlets the 12pm start of happy hours does not apply Monday to Friday. Suntec City, The Star Vista and The Centrepoint close at 2am on Fridays as well as Saturdays. Everywhere else it is 12pm–1am, and 2am on Saturdays and eves of public holidays.

Three things people search for and get wrong: the Woodlands outlet is the one inside Causeway Point; the airport outlet is at Changi Terminal 3 (there is no Teo Heng inside Jewel); and there is no Teo Heng at Clarke Quay, where the karaoke options are K.STAR in Block C and Cash Studio in Clarke Quay Central.

The cheapest way in, right now

  • Cheapest room, flat: Teo Heng, at $8/hour for a small room during happy hours at White Sands or Bukit Timah CC, or the 2-pax Mini K at Plantation Plaza. Everywhere else, $13/hour.
  • Cheapest per head: Candy K-Bar, at $4.90++ an hour, or $9.90++ for two hours, Mondays to Thursdays before 6.30pm.
  • Cheapest per head anywhere on the island: HaveFun, at $5++ a head an hour with a free soft drink, Mondays to Fridays on a check-in before 5.30pm, minimum 2 people and 2 hours, at all 11 outlets till 30 November 2026. Ten cents dearer than Candy K-Bar and far easier to reach.

Watch these four things on the bill

  1. The '++'. Everywhere except Teo Heng, service charge and GST are added on top, so a $9.90++ package lands nearer $11.50, and a $26.90++ peak package nearer $31. Teo Heng's price list is already GST-inclusive.
  2. Which outlet, not just which brand. Teo Heng's $8 promo is two outlets out of fourteen, Cash Studio's $8.80++ is Djitsun Mall Bedok only, and K.STAR's $9.90++ promo is PLQ and Leisure Park Kallang only.
  3. Weekend afternoons are not off-peak. Cash Studio charges $13.90++ (Bedok) or $18.90++ (central) from midday on Saturdays and Sundays, roughly double the weekday rate for the same slot. Candy K-Bar's Saturday and public-holiday rate is a flat $17.90++ for two hours all day.
  4. Minimums and corkage. Most per-head deals need at least 2 guests, and Candy K-Bar sets a two-hour minimum from Friday to Sunday. Teo Heng is the notable BYO exception: its own outlet FAQ says 'Yes! Feel free to bring your own food and beverage', while Candy K-Bar explicitly does not allow them.

Quick picks by occasion

  • Family afternoon with kids: Teo Heng (alcohol-free, BYO food, family malls) or Jewel Music Box (clubhouse outlets, snacks included, darts and board games).
  • Birthday you'll photograph: K.STAR themed rooms, or Candy K-Bar's Princess and Darts rooms.
  • Cheap weekday afternoon for two: Candy K-Bar at $4.90++ an hour, or Teo Heng's Mini K at Plantation Plaza.
  • After work in town: HaveFun (Cineleisure, Bugis+, Suntec) or Cash Studio (Clarke Quay Central).
  • Drinking as much as singing: Party World KTV, where the bottle promotions waive the singing charge for two to four people.
  • Still going at 5am: HaveFun 313@somerset.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the cheapest karaoke in Singapore in 2026?

It depends on how many of you there are. Per room, Teo Heng KTV Studio is cheapest, but read the outlet, not just the price. Its pricing page has extended the promo rooms until 31 October 2026 at $8/hour for a small room (up to 4 pax) during happy hours from 12pm to 7pm, $11 for a medium room (6 pax) and $14 for a large room (10 pax), and it lists those promo rates at White Sands and Bukit Timah CC only. At the other twelve outlets the same rooms are $13, $15 and $17 during happy hours, rising to $19, $22 and $25 after 7pm. Teo Heng's rates are GST-inclusive, so those are the numbers you actually pay. Because it charges by the room and not by the head, the more people you bring the cheaper it gets: a $14 large room split ten ways is about $1.40 each an hour. Per head, the cheapest published rate on this list is Candy K-Bar at $4.90++ for one hour or $9.90++ for two, Mondays to Thursdays before 6.30pm at TripleOne Somerset. Cash Studio does 2 hours from $8.80++ a person with free-flow soft drinks (weekdays before 6pm only), and HaveFun has come within ten cents of Candy K-Bar with an island-wide promo running till 30 November 2026: $5++ a head an hour with a free soft drink, Mondays to Fridays on a check-in before 5.30pm, minimum 2 people and 2 hours. Prices change and promo rooms are offered at selected outlets only, so confirm when you book.

Which Teo Heng outlets have the $8 promo rooms?

Two of the fourteen. Teo Heng's pricing page shows the extended PROMO rates, $8 an hour for a small 4-pax room during happy hours, $11 for a medium and $14 for a large, all GST-inclusive and running till 31 October 2026. Every promo card carries the note that the promo price applies at White Sands and Bukit Timah CC only. The individual outlet pages confirm it: White Sands (Pasir Ris) and Bukit Timah CC list the promo rates and nothing else, while Jurong Point, Changi Airport T3, Plantation Plaza, Oasis Terraces, Heng Out Place at Hougang, Suntec City, Causeway Point, Kallang Wave Mall, The Star Vista, The Centrepoint, Canberra Plaza and Punggol Coast Mall all list the standard $13/$15/$17 happy-hour rates and $19/$22/$25 after 7pm. There is one other $8 room: the 2-pax Mini K, which is offered at Plantation Plaza only. If the $8 rate is the reason for your trip, go to White Sands or Bukit Timah CC, and note that both open at 1pm on weekdays, so the 12pm start of happy hours does not apply there Monday to Friday.

Which KTV in Singapore lets you bring your own food and drinks?

Teo Heng is the well-known yes, and it now says so itself: the FAQ on every Teo Heng outlet page asks 'Can I bring my own food?' and answers 'Yes! Feel free to bring your own food and beverage.' That is why families and student groups gravitate there. Two caveats: the FAQ does not address alcohol, and the 'no KOD charges, no service charges, no per head charges' badges the site used to display are no longer published, so confirm both with the outlet if they matter to your plan. Elsewhere the answer is mostly no. Candy K-Bar states plainly that outside food and drinks are not allowed, with corkage on BYO alcohol and a cleaning fee for outside food. At per-head venues like Jewel Music Box, HaveFun, Cash Studio and Party World the drinks are bundled into the package price anyway: Jewel Music Box includes free-flow beverages and snacks, Cash Studio and HaveFun include free flow of soft drinks, and Party World includes tidbits plus two soft drinks or one alcoholic drink, so BYO is largely beside the point. If bringing your own food matters, ask the specific outlet before you pay a deposit, because policies can differ between branches of the same brand.

Is karaoke in Singapore charged per room or per person?

Both models exist, and they suit different group sizes, but check which one you are looking at, because it is easy to get wrong. Per-room-per-hour venues are Teo Heng and K.STAR: you pay one rate for the room regardless of how many people are inside (up to its capacity), so the cost per person falls as your group grows. Per-head venues are Jewel Music Box, Cash Studio, Candy K-Bar, HaveFun and, despite the low-looking headline number, Party World KTV, whose $16 for two hours is $16++ per person, not for the room. These charge each person for a fixed block, typically 1, 2 or 3 hours, and usually include drinks. As a rule of thumb: two or three singers are better off on a per-head package with drinks included, because you are not paying for empty seats; groups of six and up are almost always better off renting a whole room by the hour. Watch for two extras. The '++' means service charge and GST are added on top, and peak pricing (typically after 5.30–7pm, plus weekends and public holidays) can double the off-peak rate.

Which KTV in Singapore is open the latest?

HaveFun's 313@somerset outlet, which runs 12pm to 6.30am every day, later than anywhere else on this list, and it does it seven days a week rather than only at weekends. Cash Studio's Cuppage Plaza outlet is next at 1pm to 6am. After that come HaveFun Bugis Cube and HaveFun Cineleisure Orchard, both 3am on Sundays to Fridays and 4am on Saturdays and eves of public holidays, then HaveFun Bugis+ and Suntec City at 2.30am (3.30am Saturdays and eves) and HaveFun SAFRA Yishun at 2.30am daily. Candy K-Bar runs to 3am daily, Party World KTV 3pm to 3am daily, and K.STAR's own rate cards run to 3am. Family-oriented Teo Heng is the earliest to close: 12pm to 1am from Monday to Friday, Sundays and public holidays, and 2am on Saturdays and eves of public holidays, though Suntec City, The Star Vista and The Centrepoint stay open till 2am on Fridays too, and six outlets now open at 1pm on weekdays rather than 12pm. If you are planning a supper-and-sing night, check the last check-in time rather than the closing time, because most venues stop admitting new bookings well before they close, and the final hours are charged at peak rates.

Is there a KTV in Singapore for just 2 people?

Yes, and you have three sensible routes. The cheapest is Teo Heng's Mini K, a room built for 2 pax at $8 per hour during happy hours (12pm–7pm) and $12 after 7pm, GST included, but it is offered at the Plantation Plaza outlet only, so check before you travel. The second is a Teo Heng small room, which fits 4 but costs the same $8/hour under the promo, though that promo runs at White Sands and Bukit Timah CC only; at every other outlet the same room is $13/hour during happy hours, which for two people is still about $6.50 each. The third is a per-head package, which often works out better for a pair because drinks are bundled in: Candy K-Bar is $4.90++ a head for one hour or $9.90++ for two before 6.30pm on Mondays to Thursdays, Cash Studio is $8.80++ per person for 2 hours off-peak at Djitsun Mall Bedok and $9.90++ at its central outlets with free flow of soft drinks, K.STAR runs $9.90++ two-hour weekday promos at PLQ Mall and Leisure Park Kallang, and HaveFun is $5++ a head an hour at any of its eleven outlets on a weekday check-in before 5.30pm, which is $20++ between two people for the two-hour minimum. Most of those per-head deals set a minimum of 2 guests, which a pair meets exactly. For a date or a quick after-work session, the Mini K and a Candy K-Bar weekday hour are the two to compare.
