The food, item by item

  • Curry Potato Chicken Burger (single/double) — the headliner: a crispy chicken patty and fried egg smothered in Old Chang Kee's signature curried-potato filling — the same fill you know from the Curry'O — in a soft brioche-style bun. Reported from $9.20 (double from $11.20).
  • Rendang Curry Beef Burger (single/double, from 23 Jul) — beef patty dipped in rich, sedap rendang sauce, topped with onions and a fried egg in a sesame bun. Reported from $9.50 (double from $12.30).
  • Curry McShaker Fries — shake-it-yourself fries with a curry seasoning co-developed with Old Chang Kee. Reported +$1.25 as a top-up.
  • Pineapple Coconut Pie — tropical two-in-one in the classic crispy shell. Reported from $1.80.
  • Sweet Potato Mochi Balls — chewy purple-hued bites, reported $2.05 for 4 / $4.15 for 8.
  • Mango Soft Serve — cone and dessert-counter formats, reported from $1.30.

  • Insulated Lunch Bag (from 23 Jul): $9.90 with any meal purchase — limit 1 per meal, not valid with other promotions, excludes a la carte orders and Dessert Kiosks.
  • Lunch Bag Charm (from 27 Jul, 3pm): members' exclusive at 1,500 MyM Rewards points, redeemed via the app at selected restaurants only.

Why this collab matters

Old Chang Kee turns 70 in 2026 — the brand started at a small stall near Rex cinema in 1956, and its Curry'O curry puff has been a national snack for generations. McDonald's marketing chief Drina Chee points out curry has long been part of the McDonald's story here too ("our iconic curry sauce remaining a favourite among generations"), while OCK deputy CEO Chow Hui Shien calls the Curry'O "at the heart of the Old Chang Kee story for 70 years". A curry mash-up for the SG61 season is, frankly, the most Singaporean thing either brand could have done.

Where and how to get it

Available islandwide at McDonald's outlets including Drive-Thru, and on McDelivery, GrabFood and foodpanda. Items launch at 11am, so they're not part of the breakfast menu. If you're gunning for the lunch bag or a specific sauce-bottle design, go early in each wave — and remember the bottle design is luck of the draw.
