Crystal Jade has closed two more Singapore restaurants in four days. Its Hong Kong Kitchen at The Clementi Mall stopped trading on 15 September 2026, and its Jurong Point outlet shuts from 18 September. They are the fourth and fifth Crystal Jade closures of 2026. We read Crystal Jade's own restaurant locator, its promotions page and its takeaway terms on 18 September to work out what is actually left, and what it changes for anyone holding a takeaway order.

The Straits Times reported visiting The Clementi Mall on the afternoon of 17 September and finding the unit hoarded up, with a notice dated 16 September stating that the tenancy had been forfeited. Crystal Jade confirmed both closures in a media reply the same day.

Crystal Jade's own restaurant locator listed 13 Singapore restaurants when we read it on 18 September, across six brands. Neither The Clementi Mall nor Jurong Point appears on it any more:

One number to treat carefully: press coverage this week put the chain at 15 restaurants. The locator lists 13. The two agree once you notice that 15 counts The Clementi Mall and Jurong Point, which have now gone.
If you live in the west, this is where the closures bite hardest. With Clementi and Jurong Point both shut, there is no Crystal Jade Hong Kong Kitchen west of One Holland Village.
The part that costs you money: three places left to collect the Family Roast Bundle
Crystal Jade's Family Roast Bundle for five to six people, $106.82 for free Jadeite members against a $160.88 usual price, is still running to 31 December 2026. Its terms, unchanged when we read them on 18 September, say it is valid "at all Crystal Jade Hong Kong Kitchen outlets, except Tampines One".
That clause has quietly halved. Hong Kong Kitchen is now four outlets, and Tampines 1 is the excluded one, so the bundle can only be collected at:
- Causeway Point #05-10
- Takashimaya Shopping Centre #B2-38
- One Holland Village #02-28 to 02-30
Two weeks ago the same sentence covered six outlets. Nothing in the terms was edited. The outlets underneath it disappeared.
That matters more here than it would for a normal promotion, because of how the bundle is sold:
- Pre-order at least three working days ahead, through the e-store or as an in-store takeaway pre-order
- Self-collection only. There is no delivery for this bundle at all
- No changes or cancellations once an e-store order is confirmed
- The discounted price is for Jadeite members only, though membership is free in the Crystal Jade SG app
A collection point is not something you can sort out on the day.
The bento sets shrank too
The same takeaway page sells bento sets from $13.80 at Crystal Jade La Mian Xiao Long Bao, "except Changi Airport T1". That brand is also down to four outlets, so the sets are now a three-outlet offer: Toa Payoh, Bugis Junction and i12 Katong. Unlike the roast bundle, the bento sets are also on GrabFood, foodpanda and Oddle, though Crystal Jade states that delivery prices differ from outlet and e-store prices.
What Crystal Jade says
Crystal Jade said the closures are part of an ongoing review of its operations and outlet network, to keep the business aligned with evolving market conditions and long-term business priorities. It said affected employees were told directly and are being supported with redeployment opportunities within the company where possible. The chain has not announced any further closures.
What to do
- Holding a pre-order for Clementi Mall or Jurong Point? Contact Crystal Jade before your collection date. E-store orders cannot normally be changed once confirmed, so do not assume yours will be moved for you.
- Planning to order? Pick one of the three live collection points first, then count back three working days. Weekends and public holidays do not count towards them.
- Check the locator before you travel. It is the one Crystal Jade list that has kept pace with this month's closures.
