Din Tai Fung has brought back its most Singaporean dumpling for National Day: the Steamed Chilli Crab & Pork Xiao Long Bao, the star of a 'Singapore's Favourite Catch' run that goes 1 July to 31 August 2026 at all its outlets islandwide.

> Quick view: Steamed Chilli Crab & Pork Xiao Long Bao · $11.80 / 4pcs (before GST + service) · crab meat + pork + chilli crab broth, 40% larger than the signature pork XLB · 1 Jul–31 Aug 2026, all outlets · FREE Bao Zai plush keyring with min $80 spend · OCBC 10% off (dine-in) · not halal-certified.

The dumpling

This is chilli crab reimagined as a xiao long bao. Each one is generously filled with succulent crab meat, juicy minced pork and a flavourful chilli crab broth that bursts with every bite, and Din Tai Fung says it's 40% larger than its signature Steamed Pork Xiao Long Bao — so it's a bigger, soupier bao than the classic. Four pieces are $11.80, and it's an à la carte order you can have for dine-in, takeaway or delivery.

The free Bao Zai keyring

Spend a minimum of $80 in a single bill (before GST and service charge) that includes the Chilli Crab XLB, and you get one complimentary Singapore-exclusive Bao Zai plush keyring — DTF's little bun mascot — while redemptions last. It's an easy target for a table of three or four once you add sharing plates.

The OCBC discount

OCBC credit or debit cardmembers get an extra 10% off the Steamed Chilli Crab & Pork Xiao Long Bao (4pcs), dine-in only, with payment on a valid OCBC card. Per DTF's terms, the 10% can't be combined with other promotions, offers or privileges, except OCBC's separate year-long complimentary-dish offer (min $80 spend, valid weekdays 11am–2pm and 4.30–6pm).

The fine print

  1. $11.80 is before 9% GST and 10% service charge — about $14 nett — and the price may vary across outlets.
  2. The OCBC 10% is dine-in only, while servings last, and payment must be on an OCBC card.
  3. The keyring needs a $80 minimum spend (before GST + service) including the dish, while redemptions last.
  4. Not halal-certified — Din Tai Fung Singapore serves pork, and this dumpling contains pork.
  5. It's a limited National Day run ending 31 August 2026; management may amend terms without notice.
