Quick deal alert before this one expires — Starbucks Singapore is running a Friends & Family promo that lets you buy any 2 Tall handcrafted drinks for S$4.90 each in a single order, until 3 May 2026.
This is one of the better Starbucks deals to land in Singapore in 2026 — bigger discount than the periodic Members' "2 Tall for S$9.90" Happy Hour promos that have been rotating through the year, and more flexible because it's open to everyone (no Starbucks Rewards membership needed) and covers the broader Tall menu including Frappuccinos and matcha drinks.
The savings, by drink type
Standard Tall pricing in Singapore (as of April 2026):
- Brewed coffee Tall: ~S$5.00–5.40 → savings of S$0.10–0.50 per cup
- Caffe Latte / Cappuccino Tall: ~S$6.20 → save S$1.30 per cup
- Mocha / Caramel Macchiato Tall: ~S$7.00 → save S$2.10 per cup
- Frappuccino-style Tall (Java Chip, Caramel, etc.): ~S$8.20 → save S$3.30 per cup
- Matcha Latte Tall: ~S$7.20 → save S$2.30 per cup
- Premium specialty / seasonal Tall: up to S$8.50 → save up to S$3.60 per cup
The deal makes most sense if you're going for a Frappuccino-style or premium drink — that's where you save the most per cup (close to 40% off). Brewed coffee fans get the smallest discount.
The fine print — read before you queue
A few catches that aren't obvious from the promo poster:
Counter only. The deal is not valid via the Starbucks Mobile Order & Pay app, GrabFood, Foodpanda, or any other delivery channel. You have to walk into a participating store and order at the counter.
2-drink minimum, single order. Both Tall drinks have to be on one transaction. You can't buy them separately and ask for the deal to be applied retroactively, and you can't combine across two visits.
Reserve drinks excluded. Starbucks Reserve beverages are not part of the promo. Standard menu items only.
Customisation costs extra. If you ask for an extra shot, alt-milk swap (oat/soy/almond), syrup changes, or any other customisation that normally costs money, those top-up charges still apply on top of the S$4.90 base.
Cannot stack. Not combinable with Starbucks Rewards Stars, member-exclusive promos, birthday treats, or any other coupons or vouchers.
Singapore stores only. The promotion is local-only and at participating outlets — most of the network qualifies, but check before driving across town.
Best use cases
This deal works best when you're already going to Starbucks anyway — don't make a special trip just because of it.
Two-person order: the obvious one. You and a friend / colleague / family member each get a Tall for S$4.90 instead of the usual S$6–8.50.
Solo double-up: if you're the type who'd usually order 1 Tall and a side, swap the side for a second Tall and effectively turn one drink into two for not much more money.
Stock up on a future treat: Tall drinks aren't easy to "save" — coffee gets cold, ice melts. But a second cold-brew or refresher can hold for an hour or two if you're heading somewhere with a fridge.
