Snack-aisle win: Tai Sun — the homegrown nuts-and-snacks brand that turns 60 this year — is celebrating with a crossover into the freezer. It's teamed up with local favourite Creamier on two new limited-edition ice cream flavours, and it's putting a free collectible pouch in your supermarket basket when you buy its nuts.

> Quick view: (1) NEW Creamier flavours — Salted Vanilla Almonds & Peanut Toffee (at all Creamier outlets from 27 Jul 2026, sold separately) · (2) FREE mini-pouch blind box (1 of 4 designs) with min $8 spend on Tai Sun nuts at supermarkets · while stocks last · till 31 Aug 2026.

1. The ice cream — Salted Vanilla Almonds & Peanut Toffee

Creamier has whipped up two limited-edition scoops inspired by Tai Sun's iconic nuts: Salted Vanilla Almonds and Peanut Toffee. Update (9 Jul): Tai Sun has confirmed the flavours go on sale from 27 July 2026 onwards — they're not in stores before that date, so don't make an early trip. From 27 July they'll be available by the scoop at all Creamier outlets (Toa Payoh, Tiong Bahru, Gillman Barracks and East Coast), at normal scoop pricing — this is a collaboration launch, not a freebie. If a nutty, salty-sweet scoop is your thing, this is the fun half of the campaign. Limited-edition flavours can rotate or sell out, so check Creamier's Instagram for availability before you make the trip.

2. The free gift — a blind-box pouch with $8 of nuts

The everyday-win half: spend a minimum of $8 on participating Tai Sun nuts products in a single receipt at a participating major supermarket (FairPrice and others) and you get a free mini-pouch blind box. There are four designs to collect, and because it's a blind box, which one you get is random — you can't choose.

The fine print

  1. While stocks last — the free pouches are limited; popular stores may run out.
  2. Per qualifying receipt — the $8 threshold is on a single receipt of participating Tai Sun nuts products.
  3. Blind box = random design — four to collect, no picking.
  4. The ice cream isn't free — it's sold at Creamier at normal scoop prices.
  5. Confirm the details — the exact participating products, participating supermarkets and how the gift is redeemed (at the till vs a redemption counter/portal) are set by Tai Sun and can vary by store. Check the pack or Tai Sun SG's official channels before you rely on the $8 threshold.

Why it's worth a look

Tai Sun nuts are already a supermarket staple, so if a bag of roasted peanuts or Nature's Wonders baked almonds is going into your trolley anyway, the pouch is essentially a free add-on — and if you're an ice cream person, the Creamier flavours give you a reason to plan a scoop run. It's a low-stakes, feel-good local collab tied to a genuine milestone (Tai Sun was founded back in 1966).
