Trip.com Singapore's 9.9 Mega Sale opened this morning and runs to Friday 12 September 2026. Its own terms page fixes the window precisely: promotion ID SG-47083, Singapore time (GMT+8), 9 to 12 September 2026, both dates inclusive, across the Trip.com Singapore website, app and mobile site.
> Quick view: 9 Sep only, at 12AM: S$69 off min. spend S$700 (flights or hotels) · 9% off flights capped at S$30 · 10% off hotels capped at S$30 · S$109 off 5-star hotels · S$109 off a bundle over S$1,500 · 50% off cruise, airport transfer and car rental. App-only flash sales: S$399 nett SIN to Beijing (9AM), S$199 nett SIN to Manila (1PM), 5D4N Taipei bundle S$399/pax (9AM), JB hotels from S$39/night (3PM). Daily to 12 Sep: attractions 50% off or 1-for-1 (4PM), China tours 50% off (5PM), new-user hotel voucher 15% off (7PM).
The headline number is a business class coupon
The page is titled "9.9 Mega Sale: S$199 OFF on Flights & More Deals", and every roundup has copied that S$199 straight into a headline. Trip.com's own 9.9 cheat sheet is more specific than its page title: the S$199 off sits in the flight row labelled Business / First Class. The same S$199 appears again as a DBS and POSB cardholder voucher, released at 12AM on each of the four days.
For an economy booking, the two coupons that actually apply on 9 September are:
- S$69 off a minimum spend of S$700. At the S$700 threshold that is 9.9%, which is clearly the point. On a S$1,200 fare it is 5.75%.
- 9% off, capped at S$30. The cap binds at S$333, so below that fare this is the better code and above it the S$69 code wins, provided you clear S$700.
There is no rung between S$333 and S$700 where either code is worth much, which is the awkward gap in the flight offer.
What drops at what time on 9 September
This is the part a roundup read over breakfast cannot help you with. Trip.com's cheat sheet releases the 9 September exclusives by clock time, not by date:
| Time | What releases | Channel |
|---|---|---|
| 12AM | Flight coupons: S$69 off min. S$700, 9% off capped at S$30, S$199 off Business / First | Website and app |
| 12AM | Hotel coupons: S$69 off min. S$700, 10% off capped at S$30, S$109 off 5-star | Website and app |
| 12AM | Bundle & Save: S$109 off min. spend S$1,500 | Website and app |
| 12AM | 50% off cruise, airport transfer and car rental | Website and app |
| 9AM | Flash fare: S$399 nett Singapore to Beijing (Air China, China Eastern) | App only |
| 9AM | Flash bundle: 5D4N Taipei, flight and hotel inclusive, S$399 per pax | App only |
| 1PM | Flash fare: S$199 nett Singapore to Manila (Philippine Airlines) | App only |
| 3PM | Flash hotels: JB hotels from S$39 a night | App only |
The 12AM coupons went out overnight and are first-come-first-served, so by mid-morning the question is which ones still have stock rather than which one is best.
The app-only rule is not a detail
Trip.com's terms state it flatly: the Flash Sale promotion is available on the Trip.com app only, on selected dates, on a first-come-first-served basis. That single line removes every flash fare and the S$39 JB hotel rate from any desktop browser. The same paragraph adds that the flash hotel price applies to a maximum 2-night stay for overseas hotels, so S$39 a night in Johor Bahru is a two-night ceiling.
Fine print worth reading before you tap
- Codes are first-come-first-served while stocks last, and you have to complete the booking for the code to count. Enter it at checkout before final payment to see whether it is applicable.
- Several flight coupons are app-booking only, limited to 1 passenger per booking per Trip.com account, and valid only on fares carrying the All-In Fare tag.
- Nothing stacks. Trip.com's terms exclude combining with other discounts, promotions, cashback sites, rewards, loyalty programmes, discounted items and fixed-price items.
- The strike-through price is Trip.com's own reference price for that room type, which it says may differ from the price the hotel publishes on its own website.
- Cancel a booking and the reward goes with it. You have to reapply the code to a new booking, subject to availability.
- Prices are dynamic and airlines control seat availability, so a flash fare can move between the page loading and the payment screen.
What is left after today
Only 9 September carries the full coupon stack. Across all four days, 9 to 12 September, the daily set is:
- 4PM: attractions at 50% off or buy-one-get-one
- 5PM: China tours at 50% off
- 7PM: a new user voucher at 15% off hotels
DBS and POSB cardholders also get the S$199 flight or hotel voucher and a S$55 China flight or hotel voucher at 12AM on each of the four days. A separate S$120 voucher was tied to TikTok Live shows on 8 September at 10PM and 9 September at 8PM.
Two package tour flash sales were already listed with prices before their 5PM release when we read the page this morning: an 8D7N Yunnan private tour (Kunming, Dali, Lijiang, Shangri-La) at S$645 against S$1,289, and a 3D2N England tour from London (Stonehenge, Bath, Cotswolds, Oxford) at S$751 against S$1,502. Singapore airport transfers on the same page start at S$53.90 against a listed S$77.01.
