Garmin's multi-day battery beats an Apple Watch hands-down for travel. Be aware the entry pricing has moved: Garmin refreshed the line in May 2026 with the Forerunner 70 at S$349 and the Forerunner 170 at S$419 (S$479 for the Music edition). The budget Forerunner 55 is in fact still listed on Garmin Singapore's own store, but it is no longer a practical buy, because Garmin publishes no price for it and instead routes you to its Shopee and Lazada official stores. So the cheapest Forerunner you can actually walk out with is the Forerunner 165, and the S$20 saving we flagged last time has closed. The iShopChangi listing at S$218.35 has been delisted and its product page now redirects to the iShopChangi home page, which leaves three Singapore retailers all charging the same number: Harvey Norman, Challenger and FairPrice each price the Forerunner 165 at S$238. That sits just above this guide's S$200 line, which is why it's the one stretch pick here. If S$200 is a hard ceiling, skip to the earbuds or the shave experience below rather than chasing a clearance unit of a discontinued model.

The core range is Love Wild IPA, Joy Session IPA, Respect Porter, Inception WCIPA, XPA Xtra Pale Ale, Freedom Lager and the very Singaporean SG LAHger, but check stock before you plan a build-your-own mixed box, because three of the seven are currently sold out. The stock picture has flipped back since our last check. Freedom Lager, which had sold out in every format, is in stock again: S$33.60 for a six-pack, S$120 for a 24-case and S$6.00 for a single can. SG LAHger is back too, and its six-pack is now the cheapest in the shop at S$33.00, although its single and 24-case are still sold out. XPA (S$39) and Inception WCIPA (S$42.80) six-packs are in stock. Joy Session IPA has gone the other way: its six-pack (S$37.80) and case are sold out, and only the S$7.00 single is left. Love Wild IPA (S$41.58) and Respect Porter (S$37.80) remain sold out in every format. The limited-run 旺来 (Ong Lai) IPA is still available at S$88.80 for a 12-pack or S$138 for a 24-case, but not as a 6-pack. One catch for Singapore buyers: MEATER has closed its Singapore storefront. The meater.com/en-sg address we used to link still returns a 404, and there is no SGD store to replace it, so that price is in US dollars and you are buying from the international store. So treat this as a buy-it-when-you-see-it: look for it at a local kitchenware retailer or a marketplace seller rather than expecting an official Singapore price. The best value-per-dollar gift on this list, and the easiest one to get right. On JBL's own Singapore store the Tune Flex 2 is now S$99 (U.P. S$169), a dollar up on our last check, while the Tune Beam 2 and Tune Buds 2 are both S$119.90 (U.P. S$169). All three have adaptive noise cancelling, Ambient Aware and TalkThru, so dad can mute the MRT or let the world back in without taking them out. The budget JBL Wave Buds we previously pointed to are still sold out in every colour on JBL's store, now marked S$45.90 for whenever they return, so the Tune Flex 2 remains the entry point into noise cancelling and it is in stock in all three colours. Tune Beam 2 is still out of stock in black but available in white and turquoise; Tune Buds 2 is available in all three. One heads-up: the Bose QuietComfort Earbuds II we previously recommended here has been discontinued in Singapore, and Bose's cheapest current earbud through One Futureworld, the exclusive authorised Singapore distributor, is the QuietComfort Earbuds at S$249, which puts the whole Bose range above this guide's budget. Singapore's most-recommended traditional barber experience, and the entry that most reliably lands. Sultans of Shave runs two outlets: the Raffles Place flagship at 27B Circular Road (open daily 10.45am–9pm) and Orchard Road at 390 Orchard Road #02-07 in Palais Renaissance (daily 10am–9pm). Worth knowing before you book, and it has changed since our last check: the services page used to run two rate cards, one per outlet, so the same treatment was a few dollars cheaper at one branch. That is gone. There is now a single islandwide price list, set at the higher of the two old rates. Sultan's Shave is S$70 (facial scrub, hot towel, shave, cold towel, post-shave balm, moisturiser), Deluxe Shave is S$49, and The Sultan's Experience, the Sultan's Shave paired with the Sultan's Haircut, is S$140. If you want to keep the whole gift under S$100, The Deluxe Experience is the same shave-plus-haircut idea one tier down at S$99. The menu has also grown: a Royal Cut at S$95, a Royal Shave at S$85, a Royal Experience at S$235, and scalp treatments from S$68. The nicest Father's Day move is still the Father & Son set at S$193, a Deluxe Shave and Deluxe Haircut for two, because it makes the gift something you do together rather than something you hand over. Singapore marks Father's Day on the third Sunday of June, the same day as the US, UK, Japan, Malaysia, Hong Kong and India. It is not a public holiday here: offices, schools and shops all run as normal. That is worth planning around, because nobody gets a long weekend out of it, so restaurant seatings, barber chairs and spa slots for that one Sunday get booked out weeks ahead rather than spreading across three days.

One thing that trips up a lot of families here: 8 August is not Singapore's Father's Day. That date belongs to Taiwan's 八八節 (Baba Jie), and it is a pun, because "8-8" reads ba-ba, which sounds like 爸爸, while two 八 characters stacked on top of each other also look like 父. It is observed by some Chinese communities elsewhere in the region, and plenty of Chinese-Singaporean families happily mark both. But if you are booking a meal or timing a delivery on the Singapore calendar, June is the date that counts.
Other countries diverge further still: Australia and New Zealand use the first Sunday of September, Thailand uses 5 December, and Italy, Spain and Portugal celebrate on 19 March (St Joseph's Day). If dad is overseas, check his local date before you schedule the courier.

Shopee and Lazada run their 6.6 mid-year sales about two weeks before the June Sunday, and grooming, gadget and liquor brands often push Father's Day bundles in the fortnight before. But a Father's Day sale is not guaranteed to beat an ordinary month. When we re-checked this list in September 2026, the JBL Tune Flex 2 was already S$99 against a S$169 U.P. with no occasion attached, while the MEATER Plus had gone the other way, from a US$59.99 sale back to US$79.99. The safe move is to note the price and U.P. of the gift you want now, then compare again in the week before Father's Day. Experiences such as the Sultans of Shave Father & Son set (S$193) are flat-priced and rarely discounted, so book those on availability rather than waiting for a sale.
Surveys put the typical Singapore Father's Day spend at S$70–90 per gift. Higher than that lands you in tech-gadget or premium-experience territory (smartwatches, noise-cancelling headphones, whisky tasting menus). Lower (S$30–60) leans toward consumables: premium snack hampers, craft beer bundles, or restaurant gift cards. The S$100–200 sweet spot is where you find genuinely thoughtful, lasting gifts (proper smartwatch, mid-tier earbuds, full grooming experience).
Pivot from 'thing' to 'experience'.
