OG is gearing up year-end travellers with a Travel Essentials Fair at both of its department stores, running for almost two weeks.

The Travel Time case is the standout. All three sizes cost the same $59, so the 28" check-in size is the best value. It has double wheels, an expandable zip, a TSA lock and an anti-theft zipper. The Wenger Ryon Pro is polycarbonate rather than polypropylene, which is the upgrade if you fly often.

The lucky dip
Spend $120 nett in a single receipt on any of these nine luggage and travel accessory brands: Alain Delon, Be Relax, Crown, Eminent, Hapi+Tas, Hush Puppies, Travel Time, Vaude and Verage. Every turn wins something. Prizes include an HONOR 600 Pro 512GB (worth $1,209), a Xiaomi Redmi A7 Pro (worth $239) and OG vouchers.
The fine print
- In-store only. OG's post says the 20% off applies to selected brands' regular-priced items in-store.
- Participating brands only. Sale and already-discounted items do not get a further 20%.
- Wenger and Delsey do not count for the lucky dip. They are not on OG's list of nine qualifying brands.
- One receipt. The $120 must be nett and on a single receipt, so pay for everything together.
- Two stores only. OG Albert and OG People's Park. OG's webstore is not part of the fair.
Tips
- Two Travel Time cases are $118, not $120. Add a Travel Time or Hapi+Tas accessory to the same bill to reach the lucky dip.
- Buy the big Travel Time size. The 28" case is $59, the same price as the 20".
- Compare with Metro before you buy. Metro Paragon's Great Getaway Sale runs to 16 November with its own luggage prices.
- Getting there: OG Albert is a short walk from Bugis and Bencoolen MRT; OG People's Park sits beside Chinatown MRT (North East and Downtown lines).
