Skechers' new store at Junction 8 in Bishan is running a simple multi-buy until Monday 16 November: buy two pairs of regular-priced shoes and take $50 off, or buy three and take $100 off.

What it works out to
The discount is a flat dollar amount, so the cheaper the shoes, the bigger the percentage. These examples use Skechers' own web store prices, which we assume match the shelf price in store:

Store deal or online deal?
Skechers' web store is running its own Buy 2, 20% Off on a tagged range of about 1,000 items, from $10.90 socks to $199 shoes. It prints no end date, but Skechers calls the collection "Oct - Buy 2, 20% OFF", so expect it to change at the end of October.
- Two pairs under $250 together: the store's $50 off wins. Two $89 pairs are $128 in store and $142.40 online.
- Two pairs over $250 together: online wins, narrowly. Two $139 pairs are $228 in store and $222.40 online.
- Three pairs: the store's $100 off wins unless the three come to more than $500.
The store deal does have one thing going for it: you can try the shoes on, which matters for wide-fit and arch-support models.
The fine print
- Regular-priced pairs only. Shoes already marked down, including the web store's flash-sale lines, are not part of it.
- Exclusions apply. Skechers has not listed them, so ask at the counter which ranges are out before you pick three pairs.
- Footwear only. The post says footwear, so apparel, bags and socks most likely do not count towards the pair count.
- While stocks last. Popular sizes go first.
- Junction 8 is the only confirmed store. The offer was posted by Junction 8 for the #01-05 store. A deals site lists the same mechanic at the Skechers counters in OG Albert and OG People's Park, but we could not find it on any OG or Skechers channel. Call ahead if you plan to shop elsewhere.
Tips
- Pool pairs with family. Three pairs for $100 off is the strongest version, and kids' or a partner's shoes help you reach it. Check that kids' shoes count first.
- Mix a cheap pair in. On two pairs, the flat $50 is worth more on lower-priced styles, so pairing a $139 shoe with an $89 one ($178 after the deal, against $182.40 online) still keeps the store ahead.
- Combine with errands. Junction 8 is linked to Bishan MRT, so this is an easy stop on a weekday evening, when the store is open until 9pm.
