Happy Teacher's Day season has a price on it. PAUL Singapore has cut its box of 12 mini macarons from $25.90 to $15.90 for Teacher's Day, and the box arrives with a printed sleeve you fill in yourself - Dear (teacher's name) / Happy Teacher's Day / Merci, (your name) - so the personalisation is part of the gift rather than an upsell.

The French bakery announced it on its own Instagram on 14 August 2026 with the window 20 August to 7 September, then posted on its own Facebook page on 21 August: "It's here: our Teacher's Day special is officially open."

> Quick view: 12 mini macarons for $15.90 (U.P. $25.90, so $10 off, 38.6%, about $1.33 a macaron), personalised with the teacher's name and yours, 20 Aug - 7 Sep 2026, in-store at PAUL's 10 Singapore outlets. Real deadline if it is for a school teacher: Thursday 3 September.

What $15.90 actually buys

UsualTeacher's Day promo
Box of 12 mini macarons$25.90$15.90
Per macaron$2.16$1.33
Saving-$10.00 (38.6%)
Personalised sleeve-Included

Both numbers are printed flat on PAUL's own artwork with no "++" on either, so $15.90 is what a boxed gift carried out of the shop costs. PAUL's cafes do apply a service charge, but that lands on a dine-in bill, not on a box you take away.

The $25.90 usual price is not just poster copy either - PAUL's own website has listed its 12-piece mini macaron box at $25.90, and PAUL describes its mini macarons as made in France.

The date on the poster is not your deadline

This is the part worth reading twice.

Teachers' Day 2026 is Friday 4 September, and it is a scheduled school holiday. That comes straight from MOE's own press release on school terms and holidays for 2026, which also sets the Term III to Term IV vacation at Saturday 5 September to Sunday 13 September.

So the sequence runs:

  • Thursday 3 September - last school day before Teachers' Day. This is when schools hold their celebrations and when a gift is actually handed over.
  • Friday 4 September - Teachers' Day itself, a school holiday.
  • Saturday 5 September - the school break starts. It runs to Sunday 13 September.
  • Monday 7 September - PAUL's promo ends, with schools already three days into the holidays.

If the box is for a teacher at school, your deadline is Thursday 3 September - twelve days from today, and four days earlier than the poster suggests. The promo's last stretch is only useful if you are giving it to a tutor, a coach, a preschool teacher on a different calendar, or someone you will see outside term time.

Where to buy it - and the four addresses that can waste your trip

PAUL runs ten outlets in Singapore, per its own location page:

PAUL 8 Robinson8 Robinson Road #01-01Closed Sat, Sun and PH
PAUL Changi Airport (T1)Terminal 1, Departure/Transit Lounge West #02-26Past immigration

Four of the ten are CBD counters built for office lunch traffic, and they behave like it. 8 Robinson does not open at all on Saturday, Sunday or public holidays. Marina Bay Link Mall and both Ocean Financial Centre counters close at 3pm on Saturday and stay shut on Sunday.

The tenth is a different problem entirely: PAUL Changi Airport T1 sits in the Departure/Transit Lounge, which is past immigration. It is open around the clock, and it is completely unreachable without a boarding pass. Jewel Changi Airport (#B1-225) is the public-side Changi option - Mon to Thu 10am to 10pm, Fri and eve of PH to 11pm, Sat and PH 9am to 11pm, Sun 9am to 10pm.

For a weekend errand, the five that hold up are Takashimaya, Tanglin, Paragon, Suntec City and Jewel.

What PAUL has not published

Worth knowing before you plan around it, because none of this appears in the campaign post or on the artwork:

  • No participating-outlet list and no exclusions. The post names no outlets at all. Airport stores in particular often price differently, so it is worth confirming at the counter if you are buying at Jewel or T1.
  • No stock cap and no "while stocks last" line - but a 19-day promo on a single SKU can still run out at a given shop, especially in the last week.
  • No pre-order or lead time for the personalisation. The sleeve is a fill-in card, not printed to order, so nothing suggests you need to book ahead - but PAUL's own location page carries a standing note to pre-order at least 1 to 2 calendar days ahead (by 6pm) for its ordering service, so a bulk buy for a whole staff room is worth a call.
  • No delivery. PAUL's online ordering runs through its catering site, which sells platters and does not list the mini macaron box.

Versus the other Teacher's Day box in town

Chateraise is running the closest comparable offer - any 5 selected baked treats for S$11, or $2.20 each, from 14 August to 4 September 2026.

The two are aimed at different gifts. PAUL is $15.90 for twelve pieces ($1.33 each) in a black presentation box with a name on it - a thing you hand over. Chateraise is $11 for five ($2.20 each) of larger baked items, chosen by you, in bakery packaging. If you are buying for one teacher and want it to look like a gift, PAUL is the better-value box; if you are buying cakes for a staff room, Chateraise's mix and match is the more flexible one. Chateraise's own window closes on 4 September, the Teachers' Day holiday itself.
