The Soup Expert (尚一汤) is running Buy 1 Get 1 Free on its new sizzling claypots at Suntec City, from 1 September to Saturday 31 October 2026. The condition is a $40 nett spend on one bill for each free claypot.

The offer
The brand's Instagram post (30 August) launches a set of new claypot dishes with a simple rule: spend $40 nett in a single bill and you get one Buy 1 Get 1 Free claypot deal, with up to two deals per bill. The poster prints both a usual price and a member price for each dish:

The post says "and more", so there may be other claypots on the list; ask for the promo menu when you sit down. The poster also shows two new non-claypot dishes, Signature Crab Roe Tossed Noodles ($32.90, member $28.90) and a Chaoshan-style Oyster Omelette ($22.90, member $19.90). They help you reach the spend but aren't the free item.
The fine print
- $40 nett per deal, on one bill. "Nett" means after the 10% service charge and 9% GST. That's about $33.40 of menu prices.
- Two deals per bill, maximum. $80 nett gets you two free claypots. A big group spending more gets no third one unless it splits the bill, which the terms don't address.
- One claypot won't get you there. The Glazed Beef alone is about $34.65 nett. Add a soup or a side to cross $40.
- Which one is free isn't stated. The post doesn't say, but restaurant 1-for-1s almost always give the lower-priced item free. Pair two claypots of similar price for the best value.
- While stocks last, T&Cs apply. Prices are subject to service charge and GST.
Tips
- The sweet spot for two: Glazed Beef plus Yellow Chilli Fish Slices, with a soup on top. You pay for the beef, the fish is free, and the soup lifts the bill past $40 nett.
- Four people? Aim for $80 nett. Two deals means four claypots for the price of two, which is how these dishes are meant to be eaten anyway.
- Ask about the member price. The poster lists a lower member price on every dish. Check at the counter whether joining costs anything and whether member prices stack with the 1-for-1.
- Book weekend dinners on Chope. Suntec is busy on weekends, and a launch promo draws a crowd.
