Sentosa is giving away a Disney pin, and the page that describes it disagrees with itself about where you collect it.
> Quick view: Spend S$60 in a single receipt with a UOB card at Sentosa attractions or dining, and you get one "A Magical Island Adventure: Let's Set Sail with Disney Cruise Line" Glow-in-the-Dark Medallion Pin, free, in a blind pack. Runs 24 June to 20 September 2026 — 26 days left. The catch: the promo page lists nine redemption counters with opening hours, but the Terms and Conditions on that same page name only two. The spend must be made in person, inside Sentosa — online purchases do not qualify at all — and the S$60 is measured on the nett amount after all discounts, so buying your tickets the cheap way is exactly what stops you qualifying.

What you get
Sentosa's own wording, from the promotion page:
> "Spend S$60 with UOB Cards in a single receipt on attractions or dining spots at Sentosa to redeem a complimentary 'A Magical Island Adventure: Let's Set Sail with Disney Cruise Line' themed Glow-in-the-Dark Medallion Pin blind pack."
It is an enamel medallion pin in a holographic foil sachet, and the glow-in-the-dark claim is real — Sentosa's own artwork carries a "Glows in the dark!" panel showing two of the designs photographed in darkness.
How many designs are there? Sentosa has not published a number or a checklist anywhere on the promotion page. What we can say is what its own campaign artwork shows: eight pins laid out around the blind pack. Reading them off that image, they include a Toy Story alien, Baymax, the Avengers logo, Sorcerer Mickey, a crown, a coral reef scene, a sail motif and a boardwalk-at-sunset scene — the legal line on the artwork is "©Disney ©Disney/Pixar ©2026 MARVEL", which is consistent with that spread of characters. Treat eight as what is pictured, not as an announced set size.
The part that is genuinely confusing: two different redemption lists on one page
This is the reason to read past the headline.
The body of Sentosa's promo page lists NINE redemption locations, each with its own opening hours:
| Redemption location | Hours |
|---|---|
| VivoCity Station Guest Services (VivoCity, Level 3) | Daily 9am–6pm |
| Beach Station Guest Services (Enquiry Lounge) | Daily 9am–9pm |
| Resorts World Station Guest Services | Daily 10am–7pm |
| Imbiah Lookout Guest Services | Daily 10am–7pm |
| Sensoryscape (beside Sentosa Shop) | Daily 10am–7pm |
| Ticketing Kiosk at Palawan | Daily 6pm–9.30pm |
| Sentosa Cove Resort Management Office (Sentosa Cove Village, Level 2) | Mon–Fri 9am–5pm |
| Golfer's Terrace at Sentosa Golf Club | Daily 6.30am–9pm |
| Roots at Sentosa Golf Club | Tue–Sun 12pm–9pm |
The Terms and Conditions, further down the very same page, name only two:
> "Customers may redeem the complimentary... Glow-in-the-Dark Medallion Pin at Beach Station Enquiry Lounge i.e., Sentosa Guest Services Counters and the Ticketing and Redemption Kiosk at Palawan Beach."
Those two lists do not match, and the terms are the half that binds. There is a reading under which they reconcile — the phrase "i.e., Sentosa Guest Services Counters" could be a gloss meaning *all* Sentosa Guest Services counters, which would sweep in VivoCity, Resorts World and Imbiah Lookout. But it could equally be read as naming Beach Station specifically. Sensoryscape, the two golf club outlets and Sentosa Cove are not Guest Services counters under any reading, and they appear in the body list only.
The practical answer: Beach Station Enquiry Lounge is named in both lists, and it has the longest hours of any counter on the island — daily 9am to 9pm. Go there. If a counter closer to you is more convenient, treat it as a bonus rather than a plan, and do not leave the island assuming a golf-club counter will honour it.
One more scheduling trap in that table: the Palawan kiosk only opens at 6pm. It is the other counter the terms explicitly name, but it is useless for a daytime purchase — and redemption must happen the same day.
The rules that decide whether you actually qualify
Straight from the Terms and Conditions:
- The card. Payment must be made with a UOB Debit or Credit Card. Notably, it does not have to be a Singapore card — the terms accept cards issued in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam or Thailand. That is unusually generous, and worth knowing if you have visiting family.
- Same day. "Redemptions must be completed on the same day as the qualifying purchase." Keep the receipt and collect before you leave.
- S$60 nett. The minimum spend "refers to the nett amount payable after all discounts and promotions" — the number at the bottom of the receipt, not the list price.
- Inside Sentosa, in person. Qualifying spend must be made within Sentosa, at participating physical outlets. "Online purchases and other payment channels are not eligible."
- One per transaction. One pin per eligible transaction, while stocks last.
- No stacking. "This promotion cannot be combined with other promotions unless otherwise stated."
- Pins are not exchangeable for cash, credit or other items, and there is no replacement for lost, stolen or damaged pins.
The promotion is organised solely by Sentosa Development Corporation.
The trap nobody spells out: buying cheap is what disqualifies you
Two of those rules point in opposite directions from ordinary Sentosa advice, and together they bite.
Almost every guide to Sentosa — ours included — tells you to buy attraction tickets online in advance, because that is where the discounts live. Sentosa's own promos page is currently running online-exclusive offers with the tag "Online Exclusive" attached to them.
Do that here and you fail twice over:
- An online purchase does not qualify at all. The terms exclude online purchases and "other payment channels" outright, however much you spent.
- Discounts shrink the nett figure toward the bar. Because S$60 is measured after all discounts, a $70 list-price purchase bought at 20% off is a $56 nett receipt — and no pin.
So this is a promotion for the walk-up counter, paid in person, at counter prices. Whether that is worth it depends entirely on how much you wanted the pin, because the gap between the online price and the counter price on a Sentosa attraction can easily exceed the value of an enamel badge.
Collecting the set: the arithmetic
One pin per eligible transaction, blind packed, with no published design count and no way to choose.
If eight designs is right, and assuming an even spread, collecting all eight is not eight transactions — the coupon-collector maths puts the expected number of blind packs at roughly 22. Even the floor case of eight perfect draws is 8 × S$60 = S$480 of in-person Sentosa spending. At 22 packs it is over S$1,300.
That is the honest framing: this is a nice thing to pick up on a day you were already spending S$60 on the island. It is a terrible thing to chase. Buy your lunch and your tickets at the counter, hand over the UOB card, walk to Beach Station, and take whichever pin the sachet gives you.
Getting to S$60 without wasting money
The bar is per single receipt, so a solo visitor doing one attraction often lands short while a pair clears it easily. Some honest ways to get there on things you actually wanted:
- A meal for two at a Sentosa restaurant clears S$60 on its own at most sit-down places, and dining is explicitly named in the promo wording.
- Two attraction tickets bought at the counter rather than one — the receipt is what counts, not the number of people.
- Combine attraction and food into one transaction where the operator allows it, since the rule is a single receipt.
What will not get you there: island admission itself, which is free on foot and by the Sentosa Express from VivoCity in the daytime, and the $2 locals' weekday Sentosa Line cable car round trip, which is a genuinely good deal but nowhere near the bar.
What else is running on the same campaign
The pin is one strand of Sentosa's "A Magical Island Adventure: Let's Set Sail with Disney Cruise Line" campaign, which ends 20 September 2026 across the board:
- Disney Cruise Line-themed Sentosa Line cable car cabins — the ride itself dressed in designs inspired by the themed areas onboard the Disney Adventure.
- The Palawan @ Sentosa installations, including Marvel-inspired photo ops, which are free to walk up to.
One thing this pin does not combine with: Sentosa's 1-for-1 attractions offer with Mastercard. That one is a different card network entirely, and in any case it does not begin until 1 September 2026, running to 30 November — so if you are weighing the two, note they cannot be used on the same transaction, and the 1-for-1 is not live yet as of today.
Should you bother?
Yes, if you were already going to Sentosa, you hold a UOB card, and you will spend S$60 at a counter anyway. It costs you nothing extra and it is a genuinely nice object.
No, if you would have to change how you buy tickets to qualify. Paying counter price instead of the online price to earn a free pin is usually a net loss, and that is the calculation the reposts of this promotion never run.
Either way: go to Beach Station Enquiry Lounge (daily 9am–9pm), collect on the same day, and remember there are 26 days left.
